    Yes, at least since late afternoon EST.
    Check this site for the status of Apple Services when you need to in the future. (But right now it seems that site is down as well.)

  • Jar files to add to the classpath for KM development.

    Hello Friends:
    I am trying to retrieve the favorites of the user stored
    under him home folder. In KM we have a readymade iview,
    called 'Favorites'. I am programmatically trying to
    read the values stored by this iview.
    I am using NWDS 2.0.5 on EP60SP2Patch3. When I use the
    following code,
    IUserManagementService umService =
    (IUserManagementService) request.getService(IUserManagementService.KEY);
    // get the user object
      IUser user =
    umService.getDefaultFactory().getUser(userId);
    IResourceContext context =   new ResourceContext(user);
    in my IDE I get the following error:
    "This compilation unit indirectly references a missing
    type com.sapportals.portal.security.usermanagement.
    IUserFactory"
    The following are the jar files added to my project's
    classpath.
    com.sap.portal.usermanagementapi.jar
    com.sap.portal.usermanagementcore.jar
    com.sap.portal.usermappingapi.jar
    com.sap.security.api.jar
    com.sap.security.api.perm.jar
    com.sap.security.core.jar
    com.sap.security.core.tpd.jar
    apart from the usual portal framework related jar files.
    I tried also to add all the jar files with the prefix like...
    com.sap.km.*
    com.sap.netweaver.bc.*
    It didn't help.
    What are the other jar files I need to add, and where
    they are available.
    BTW, I unzipped all the 'portallibs' downloaded from the
    portal and using those jar files to attach to the project.
    Thank you very much,
    Prasad Nutalapati

    Hi Prasad,
    additionally you need com.sap.security.api.ep5.jar due to the fact that KM is using the old EP5 usermanagement libraries.
    Concerning the KM / RF libraries I would recommand to include all libraries matching the patterns bc._api.jar and km._api.jar
    Best regards,
    Thilo

  • How can I read ALL the compilation errors in a DOS window?

    On compilation using a DOS window, if the number of errors exceeds the window size, some of the errors disappear off the top of the window and I cannot read them.
    Is there an effective solution to somehow use scrolling of the DOS window or transfer the compilation errors to a file?

    Hey buddy,
    When I first started programming with Java, I wondered the same thing. I have the very best solution for you. This one is waaay easy!!!!
    There is a text editor which will not only color code your text for you, but you can easily configure it to give you the compiler /DOS output for Java. Just go to this website and download the program. Enjoy!

  • How to solve the 404 error

    Hi,
    How to catch or solve the 404 error in application.
    Some time we are giving some file name but that file is not avialable at that time it will give 404 error. how to avoid this error.
    If 404 error comes i want call some other file. Is it posible.
    Thanks Advance.

    Yes, this is because IE 5.5 (?) and higher have this wacky "Show friendly HTTP error messages" setting. You can disable this by going to tools -> internet options -> advanced and unchecking "Show friendly HTTP error messages". However as the default IE setting has "Show friendly HTTP error messages" enabled this isn't a good solution.
    I believe that if your error page is less than a certain size (in bytes) then IE defaults to it's own error page when "Show friendly HTTP error messages" are enabled. This size is something like 512 bytes or fewer in length.
    So basically try making your error page larger (more than 512 bytes in size) and see if that works.

    first, you just asked me to use MS file Explorer to see what the properties were.,..and to ask what happened. Yes - that's on my hard drive. The problem I have is opening word files in a DB that is web enabled.....I've used Firefox browser for that, and everything else , for years...... When I look at the Tools, and options on FireFox., as your support page noted.....NOTHING is listed in the Applications tab....hence my note asking for help. The file I need to open is a Word file out on a web enabled DB. It's not on my hard drive - I have to problems opening docs there - but for that, I don't use Firefox

  • The mxmlc compiler displays the compilation errors in Japanese - and I want them in English!

    Working in a Japanese company I have to use a machine with
    Windows XP in Japanese. The thing is that I can barely read this
    language so it's really depressing when most Java apps (and Flex,
    through Eclipse, is one of them) outsmart themselves and default to
    displaying their UI strings/messages in Japanese
    without giving the user the ability to select another
    language.
    When compiling Flex apps using Flex Builder 2, the mxmlc
    compiler is internally called by the IDE to perform the compilation
    and then its output is displayed in the Problems View.
    Well, the English version of mxmlc, has all its messages
    (compilation warnings, errors etc) translated into Japanese (as far
    as I can tell, they are hardwired into the exe). So although I'm
    using the English version of the FB2,
    with -locale en_US specified as an argument for the
    compiler, all the compilation erros are reported in Japanese!
    Even after changes in "flex-config.xml" and "jvm.config" as
    you can see below, the compilation errors are still in Japanese. I
    started to doubt that there's a solution to this problem but I
    really hope there is one.
    TIA,
    .x.
    Here are the relevant portions of my config files and an
    example of mxmlc's output (Japanese might not display correctly):
    -- C:\Program Files\Adobe\Flex Builder 2\Flex SDK
    2\frameworks\flex-config.xml --
    <flex-config>
    <compiler>
    <!-- Turn on generatation of accessible swfs. -->
    <accessible>false</accessible>
    <!-- Specifies the locale for internationalization.
    -->
    <locale>en_US</locale>
    </compiler>
    </flex-config>
    -- C:\Program Files\Adobe\Flex Builder 2\Flex SDK
    2\bin\jvm.config --
    # Arguments to VM
    java.args=-Xmx384m -Dsun.io.useCanonCaches=false
    -Duser.language=en
    -- mxmlc invoked on the command line --
    mxmlc -o ASCIIArt -locale en_US ASCIIArt.mxml
    Loading configuration file C:\Program Files\Adobe\Flex

    import com.example.programmingas3.asciiArt.Image;

    inlineblue you are right about the "-locale" switch. I've
    just found this page on live docs:
    http://livedocs.macromedia.com/flex/2/docs/wwhelp/wwhimpl/common/html/wwhelp.htm?context=L iveDocs_Parts&file=00001500.html
    with all the compiler options
    I thought that "-metadata.language <code>" (alias
    "-language") sets the language, but it seems that it's only for
    metadata.
    So -locale is out. Thanks for clearing this for me. There's
    one more path left...
    As I wrote in my first message, besides the "-locale en_US"
    compiler option, I am also setting the "user.language" flag in
    jvm.config to "en":
    -- C:\Program Files\Adobe\Flex Builder 2\Flex SDK
    2\bin\jvm.config --
    # Arguments to VM
    java.args=-Xmx384m -Dsun.io.useCanonCaches=false
    -Duser.language=en
    According to the docs:
    http://livedocs.macromedia.com/flex/2/docs/wwhelp/wwhimpl/common/html/wwhelp.htm?context=L iveDocs_Parts&file=00001462.html
    this is the standard (only?) way to pass arguments to the JVM. And
    AFAIK "-Duser.language=en" is supposed to set the user language to
    English. But it does not happen... I have to investigate this
    more...

  • List of .jar file need to add in web application by using eclipse europa?

    hi
    what are the list of .jar file need to be added in web application which use the ide of Eclipse Europa?

    Depends on the application requirements. For a basic JSP/Servlet application just integrate Tomcat in Eclipse and assign it as application server to your web project, then you don't need to add anything. If you for example need JSF, then you should add its JAR's to the classpath of the web project, which is by default /WEB-INF/lib.

  • When will MS solve the C2797 error ?

    Do you see any different (except the variable type) between the 2 class constructors below ?
    Person(string first, string second) : firstname{ first }, secondname{ second }{};
    Person(char* first, char* second) : firstname{ first }, secondname{ second }{};
    The 1st one which use string STL won't compile with C2797 error. But if you change the curly bracket to parentheses (or wrap the curly bracket by parentheses), it can compile.
    Person(string first, string second) : firstname( first ), secondname( second ){};
    Person(string first, string second) : firstname({ first }), secondname({ second }){};
    This problem not yet solve in VS2013 update 4. Or MS prefer C++98 style ?

    Hi DHLao,
    Thanks for posting in MSDN forum. About compiler error C2797.
    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn793970.aspx
    Yes, I can reproduce this issue on my side event with VS 2015 preview. From this blog, we can see C2797 will continue to be present in all future versions of Visual Studio 2013.
    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/vcblog/archive/2014/08/19/the-future-of-non-static-data-member-initialization.aspx
    Then I find this, it wrote that the compiler error C2797 is planned to be completely fixed in 2015 RTM.
    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/vcblog/archive/2014/11/17/c-11-14-17-features-in-vs-2015-preview.aspx?PageIndex=3
    So let's wait for the VS 2015 and see the result. Hope this helps some.
    Best regards,
    Shu Hu

    The 2330 error often means some sort of damage to the filing system as might happen if the battery fell out while the disk was in use.
    Try running a disk check to see if it finds and fixes any errors.
