Javascrip for height adjustment in iframe

I have an iframe that needs it's height to adjust with the content. Can anyone help? here's the link to the page:

For now I've just given it enough height to allow for the current content to fit, but the client will continue to add to or delete from that content. I've tried a few different javascripts I found on the internet, but had absolutely no luck making any of them work. I'm a designer, so I'm not fluent in code.

It doesn't take much to get this working.
#1 Download the iframe resize script from GitHub and save it to the Scripts folder in your Local Site.
# 2 You need to link your page to the latest jQuery library as well as the resizeIframe.js script which you just downloaded from GitHub.
#3 Insert the following between the <head> and </head> tags in your HTML document (note path to Scripts folder).

Height adjustment for Intel I-Macs

As a consulting ergonomist I am baffled by Apple decision to mount the new I-mac on a base that allows little height adjustment. I queried one of my All-apple-all-the-time clients about obtaining VESA mounts for these machines and heard back through their grapevine that the new machine would not accept a VESA mount. Is this true? Please advise. I already see extended heads and have complaints of sore shoulders.

Aperture creating new version of image for each adjustment applied!

To anyone out there who can sort this one out, I will be forever grateful!
Here's the problem. I'll be jamming away in Aperture, adjusting photos like a madman. After adjusting a random number of photos (it usually varies between 5-30 photos or so after starting Aperture each time), the adjustments panel will no longer update when I click on a new image (i.e. it holds the info from the last image I adjusted and will continue to apply new adjustments to that last image even if another image is highlighted). If I switch to the metadata panel and then back to adjustments it will refresh itself and recognize the currently selected image (although I have to do this for EACH image I want to adjust once it starts acting up like this). The BIG problem is that even if I get the adjustments panel to recognize the selected image at this point, for EACH adjustment I apply it makes a new version of the image. For example, if I first change the contrast, it will make Version 2 of the image and select it (which is what it's supposed to do for the first adjustment, because I have "create new versions when making adjustments" checked in my preferences), but if I then make another adjustment like changing the saturation, it makes Version 3 of the image (from the master, so that only the saturation adjustment is applied and not the contrast adjustment). As you can imagine, this utterly destroys my once incredibly efficient Aperture workflow and makes it pretty much impossible to use Aperture for adjustments unless I turn off "create new versions when making adjustments" in the preferences, at which point it does seem to work again (although I've only tried it on a few images, so not 100% sure it will work properly even then). If I restart Aperture (or my computer), it will work normally again for a few pictures and then will start acting up again with the same problem.
Originally I was running into this problem on my PowerBook G4, and so I figured it was just because Aperture didn't like my wussy G4 processor and was acting up when the load got too heavy (after all, the adjustments would work fine for up to 30 images or so). However I recently purchased a sexy iMac 24" 2.8 GHz and maxed out the RAM to 4GB, but I'm still getting the same darned problem with Aperture on my iMac. Yes, I'm using the same library of photos I was using on my PowerBook G4.
This problem has been plaguing me for about 3 months now (everything else in Aperture works fine so I'm still using it to import and organize my photos, I just haven't been able to make adjustments on large groups of pictures for a while), and I've searched and searched these forums countless times to see if anyone has run into similar problems, but I've not seen a single mention of it. I've also tried EVERYTHING mentioned for similar problems (rebuilding library, vacuuming database, erasing com.apple.aperture.plist preference file, repairing permissions, reinstalling Aperture, making burnt offerings to Steve Jobs), and NOTHING is working. ARRGH!!
For those who might have some words of wisdom to offer this delighted-***-miserably frustrated Aperture user, here are a few more details about my setup:
I have a library of about 37,000 photos, the vast majority of them being RAW .CRW files from a Canon 10D. The 25GB library file is stored on my internal hard drive, and all photos are referenced from an external LaCie 500GB FireWire 400 hard drive. I have a LOT of export plug-ins installed in Aperture, but no image adjustment plugins. I have generated previews turned off for all projects. I've had the same problem on both my PowerBook G4 and new iMac 24" 2.8 GHz. One other thing worth mentioning is that instead of upgrading from 2.1 (which was already giving me this problem) to 2.1.2, I downloaded the full version of 2.1.2 and installed it. I noticed that my 2.1 Aperture.app file was less than 100MB, whereas the 2.1.2 Aperture.app file is over 300MB. Don't know if that's normal or not.
The only other thing I can think of to try at this point is to load a new library into Aperture and import a large group of pictures and make adjustments to them to potentially see if my problem is being caused by Aperture or by the library. Will probably try that tomorrow.
I would appreciate any advice or feedback anyone can offer about this nasty little problem, as it's giving me a serious hormonal imbalance.

Thanks for the reply RB, but my current workflow depends on me creating new versions when I make adjustments. I suppose as a temporary solution I will probably have to either turn this preference off or just be willing to constantly restart Aperture. At least I finally found another thread with the same problem, so finally I don't feel completely alone in the far reaches of the Aperture universe. It appears this problem is closely related to the ubiquitous black viewer problem that seems to be plaguing far more users than my issue (although I've run into the black viewer problem a few times myself), as both problems force Aperture to output the following message to Console:
Main Thread Exception in Aperture: * -NSCFArray objectAtIndex:: index (1) beyond bounds (1)
It seems that both of these problems existed in Aperture 1 and 1.5 up until the 1.5.6 upgrade which seems to have fixed it, but then with Aperture 2 the problem seems to have returned. At least that's the gist of what I've been reading on a number of threads. Whatever the case, I hope Apple gets this sorted out in their next update!
As it appears there is no proper answer to this problem at the moment, I'm gonna go ahead and mark this thread answered (and since you were kind enough to at least take the time to reply RB, you can be credited with the answer... thanks!).

By changing the maximum automatic height and Minimum automatic height property of the iview you can set the size for height of your iview.
to do this follow the setps:
goto content administrator -> portal content -> your folder where you created your iview or directly to your iview -> right click -> open -> object,
and now in property category choose appearance-Size from the drop down menu and set the above properties to your required height.
if you want the end user to modify this property set the property to read/write .

F5061 Balance in local currency EUR is too large for automatic adjustment

My Company code currency is EUR. The customer has made a downpayment in USD (say 100) and i am now to clear the same against invoice of same amount in USD (100 $) but its is resulting into minor differences in Local currency. I am getting the following error
Balance in local currency EUR is too large for automatic adjustment
Message no. F5061
Diagnosis
For postings in foreign currency, it is possible that the balance in foreign currency is zero, but not in local currency. Providing the balance in local currency does not amount to more currency units than the document has line items, the system adjusts the amounts automatically. If an automatic adjustment is not possible, the amounts must be adjusted manually in local currency.
System Response
The document is not posted in local currency without adjusting the amounts.
Procedure
Adjust the amounts in local currency.
How can i have the system automatically fetch the Gl accounts to post the exchange rate differeces.
I have maintained the settings in FBKP- Exchange rate differenes

Hi,
I have the same problem; my company code is defined in HUF and I am trying to post a vendor invoice in Euros.
I have a 10% maintained there and still receiving the error, either for differences of just one HUF. The strangest thing is that differences are automatically adjusted (also for discrepancies over the 10%) when posting through FB60 but not when using FB01.
Any idea?

Lightroom 5.5 for Mac Adjustment Brush not working

Hi all, since updating to Lightroom 5.5 for Mac Adjustment Brush has stopped working entirely. I can open the menu and it does display the brush within the menu. When dragging the tool into the image it changes to the mouse arrow which doesn't have any function. Any ideas? Thank you very much for your help. Chris

And- do you actually press or hold down the left-mouse button and drag the cursor on the image? as you would a paint brush. A 'Pin' will appear where you start the brush stroke.
And- Is it possible that you have the switch at the base of the brush panel sliders turned off ? (The toggle switch on the same line as "Reset" and "Close")
Pressing "O" only turns the overlay mask on/off to give a visual indication 'Where' you have applied the brush.
Pressing "SHIFT+O" changes the colour of the MASK overlay- Red, Green, Grey, Clear
"O" does not affect any editing of the image.

No pin for the Adjustment Brush

New photo imported into LR4, applied adjustment brush and noticed there was no pin or anchor point for the brush. What happend to the pin? Closed the panel. Then opened the adjustment brush again and previous adjustment brush pin is not there - I can't edit previous adjustment brush. I tried the gradient tool and it places the pin allowing edits, but I get no pin for the adjustment brush. All else seems to be working ok, all beit a bit slow.
I've tried this multiple times on different images and I never get a pin for the adjustment brush. I even tried this on a dng file from LR3 with the same result - no pin.
Windows 7 64bit - all updates applied

4GB Memory
Nvidia Graphics Card

No worries ... I think EVERY keyboard has a mind of it's own at times ...

ANON: Gazoo - "Always On & Ready" UI for relative adjustment of develop settings, and other things..

Many people have tried plugins for relative adjustment of develop settings, and the main complaint has always been the same - it takes a few seconds for the UI to come up, and you can't do anything else in Lr while it's up, so it's being invoked, and closed, and invoked, and closed... yuck.

TableLayoutPanel row height adjustment for dynamic row

Dear all,
i use a tablelayoutpanel to populate a calendar display.
As the row are generated dynamically during run time.
I would like to know how do i adjust the height in runtime for those row generated during runtime
I notice after the table populated, the row count always to return one

example :
For i = 0 To table.Rows.Count - 1
table.RowStyles.Add(New RowStyle(SizeType.Absolute, 100))

Units for Crystal Width and Height adjustment Formulae ?

Hello,
Is it possible to restrict the length of a text box in crystal reports 2008 based on a value from the database (say, datafield length : 20 characters) ?
Using the 'Size and position' dialog, it is possible to set the width of the text box; however, i am unsure what units CR uses in this dialog. Is it characters, pixels , twips, etc?
If table.fieldlength = 'short or 20 characters'
then width = X units
else width = Y units

I think you need to try something like this
if you have any field from database then in the size and position use X+2 option and write the formula like this
1440*len()
it may be a bigger in size but you need to figure out how much width it is taking for each character. May be you can get that by inserting a texbox and enter one character and adjust the size to fit perfectly without any space and see how much width it is taking. It may take for example 0.08 inch for each character. By using the formula like this
1440(0.08)len()
gives you the output.
I think there might be another solution but I hope this will help you to some extent.
I still don't understand why you want to do it for the text object as it is a databse field, you can directly drag that object on to the report then the option "Tight Horizontal" will be enabled and you can use it. If it is a static text then you can adujst the width of the textbox accordingly.

Conditional Text in Table - Problems with row height adjustment

I’m german but I try to express my problem in english as good as I can. Not always easy with the different menu names. Hope you get what I want to say! :-)
As you can see in my attached screenshot, I placed text in a table.
Text height is set to: minimum 1,5 … so it adjusts to the amount of text.
This is what I want - it should adjust the height to the marked/aktivated conditional text.
It always adjusts the hight when I blind out the first line oder lines in between (e.g. line 2+3 of 4).
But if I want to blind out the last line(s), there is a ¶ at the end and a extra blank line with the #.
I know, the # stands for the following hidden Text, but why does it work with the red/green text.
There is also text hidden (green), but the mark # is right after the last word - not in a new line.
Has anyone a solution for this?

That's ok so far. A paragraph sign at the end of a text forces a new line.
To change that do the following:
For every condition you need another condition just for the paragraph sign that comes immediately after the condition. Not after every paragraph of one condition, but at the end of every consecutive numbers of paragraphs of the same condition.
So in your third example you'll need two conditions more:
1. One for the paragraph sign at the end of condition "meaasurements"
2. One for the paragraph sign at the end of condition "price 2"
Whenever you make the other conditions invisible, you also have to turn off the new conditions that only control the paragraph signs.
