JAVASCRIPT: Accessing the sessionbean - how ??? can it be done?

Hi,
I need to access the sessionBean from javawscript. I have trawled throughj all posts and have got no satisfactory code.
Can this be done?
I have tried for eg alert(#{sessionBean.firstName}) and get a syntax error, i assume due to # symbol. do i need to CDATA this request?
Any help, much appreciated.

Your problem is trying to access server side information from the client side, so that alert is never gonna work in that simple form. If you want javascript access to a sessionbean variable, that variable will have to be present in the final rendered page....meaning bring it into your page as either a visible or inviisble field and then using javascript to read that. Thats one solution?

I can't access the audio memo apps but i can see under usage - manage storage that all the files are located in icloud. how to extract .wav files from icloud if the apps is no longer responding to fileshare in itunes? Thanks.

yes it was solved some time ago. i cant remember exactly but i think i disconnected from the internet and tried accessing the audio apps (or maybe i had accessed the apps first then only turned off internet i cant remember) thereafter the files were in my local apps and then I turned off use icloud. i suggest you backup your ipad on itunes before trying anything. Accessing the radio - how can I play Radio 1?

I am hoping someone can help me. Does anyone have any idea how I can access the radio on the iPhone? Is there an app to support this? When I try streaming through the internet the phone says the flash player isn't new enough to work. How can I fix this?

There are several radio players for the iPhone. Of them, I recommend the following the most:
- FStream (free but pretty limited; however, it's the best free radio)
- ooTunes (excellent and isn't too expensive)
- Pocket Tunes (a bit more expensive; somewhat less featured than ooTunes but still one of the best)
I've also published a huge roundup of all these titles on a lot of other iPhone forums (but not on this, because I'm still not Level 1) - just Google for the above players (as FStream ooTunes Pocket Tunes) to find them.

Wow, sorry to hear of your experience. Seems strange that your disk would just eject like they did. It could be a lot of things but more than likely you just kind of have to start all over.
What I would do is insert your system disk and instead of going immediately to an install I would go to disk utility and erase the drive. That will erase everything on the disk and give you a new blank disk to start with. After that I would try to reinstall the system. Assuming that goes well then you should be restored to where it was when you purchased it. After that you can reinstall all your applications or personal files. I hope you have good backups.
I remember one time I was having a similar problem and don't ask my why I did it but I actually could not get it to install a system. I removed both of my ram sticks, shut the computer down for about 10 minutes including unplugging it from the wall plug, then reinstalled the ram, plugged it back in and started up from the system disk and all worked just fine. To this day I have no idea if pulling the ram helped but I have never had to do it since and for some dumb reason that solved the problem I was having, which is the same problem you are having now. Call it voodoo but it worked.

It's not possible to read from a file without using classes from the core API*. You'll have to get clarification from your instructor as to which classes are and are not allowed.

You need to use the old ID and password to delete the iCloud account. After you delete the old account, you can sign in with the new ID in iCloud.

The iPhone is new, has never been used. When asked if I want to set it up as a new phone, restore from an iTunes backup, or my iCloud backup I selected iCloud. It then askes for me to sign in with my Apple ID, I then agree to the terms, then it asks for me to sign into my friends Apple ID. She and I have used each other's computers in the past so I assume this is where her information is coming from. The problem is she no longer had that email or Apple ID and has no way of gaining access to it and therefor I am unable to proceed.
I suppose my question is, how can I remove her information from mine so I can setup my new phone using iCloud. Also, I have already checked my Apple ID online and nowhere on my account is her information listed.

OPen your Users folder, Highlight the Desktop Folder, do a Get Info or CMD+i on it, see if it's locked or if you have Rights & Privileges at the bottom.

Currently iTunes does not allow for re-downloading movies. This may happen in the future with iCloud, but that remains to be seen.
