JavaScript Error for Web Control Value

Hi,
I'm trying to follow the code mentioned in this post:

To parse the values of the multifield control.
When I use the script I get javascript errors: "Uncaught SyntaxError:Unexpected Identifier".
The string returned from the field value for the line of JavaScript is:

Could the slashes be the issue, or the single quote in the begging after the
OpenPopUpPage?

There might not be a need for two Java plugins, in order to remove the vulnerable one:

Javascript is a bit different from Java.

The web console is a web developer tool used to look at what makes the webpage. Since the video is not playing, something is blocking it. It can be permissions, an extension, hardware acceleration etc. Usually an error message in the console can give a clue. It is located in Tools > Web Developer > Web Console

Javascript Error for Dropdown: oAccessibilityHelper is Undefined

I have developer a WebDynpro (ABAP) component that has a DropdownByKey.
The component is embedded in two different compoents that are part of different WD aplications.
In application A, everything works fine, but in application B, I am getting a JavaScript Error when clicking on the dropdown.
The error message is "oAccessibilityHelper is undefined".
What can I do? Why are the two applications behaving differently? I could find no difference so far.

Because of Web Dynpro's closed rendering system, nothing you do should really be able to cause a JavaScript error. Anything of a mistake should be caught and reported by the Web Dynpro layer. So if you have a reproducable JavaScript error you should really search for support notes/open a support ticket.

Invalid Content Type Error for Web Service

Hi Experts,
We have a XI / PI Web Service, and have created an Adaptive Web Service Model for the same. For using this web service model, we have created a HTTP destination of type WSDL.
This configuration works great in our development and consolidation server.
While working with our production server, with all the settings same as consolidation server, the following error is generated for Web Service call. using the AWS model
java.io.IOException: Invalid content type while requesting http://<host>:<port>/webdynpro/resources/<application_package>/guicall.wsdl. Expected Content-type: text/xml, received Content-type: content/unknown, used user to connect: null
The HTTP destination address is the one specified in bold above.
Also, in later part of the stack trace we are bale to see this error:
com.sap.tc.webdynpro.model.webservice.exception.WSModelRuntimeException: Exception on creation of service metadata for WS metadata destination
Please guide us on this issue.

How did you configure the Webservice Destinations in Visual Admin for a webservice explosed by XI system.
I mean what was the URL specified, did you specify XI SYSTEM userid password ???
How was the webservice published to inspection.wsil in XI system ??

IE9 browser helper generating javascript errors in Web Application

Hi All,
Any idea why when I record/playback my Web Application with IE9 my modal dialogs are generating javascript errors? The modal dialogs runs fine when the helpers are not running but it starts throwing script errors left and right once the helpers are active. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

"Auth type not supported by External DB" error for web-auth SSIDs

Hello
We're having a problem with web-authentication on our 4404/WisM controllers since we moved to software rev 5.x (currently running 5.1.151.0).
With software rev 4.x our web-auth SSIDs would send the authentication requests to a Cisco ACS4.0 which would then authenticate the users against MS Active directory.
Now (with rev 5.x) the same SSIDs cannot authenticate users against AD, the error in the ACS is:
Auth type not supported by External DB
Found the following Cisco Doc regarding the problem: Cisco Secure ACS and Windows AD EAP/802.1x port authentication fails with the Auth type not supported by External DB error message - Case Number K24308566. Done a packet capture on ACS to see authentications coming in and the ones that fail with above error are using CHAP - from the Cisco documentation, MS AD doesn't support CHAP.
Any ideas on how I can get the web-auth working again with software rev 5.x ?

I have a problem on my anonymous role. When i click on the link page of a km navigation IView in the detailed navigation tree, the IView open itself but the navigation tree disappear and i have a Javascript error :

Javascript error for Inserting Pages from a source

Below is a script I wrote that isn't functioning properly on my large 200 page document that I need it to. Granted there might be a much easier way to script this, but I'm no expert. I have a 200 page document that needs to be 600 pages, basically every page needs to be copied twice (and obviously placed right after the original. So I have the original PDF, then I copied that PDF to use as a source document to copy from. (To clarify if I'm not being clear, the first 3 pages would be page 1, 2, 3,... it needs to be: 1,1,1,2,2,2,3,3,3 etc)

It gives me an error that I have no idea means, nor how to correct after only placing a total of 3 pages - so the doc went from 200 to 203 (2 of page 1 as intended, then 1 page of page 2, then for some reason it stops...

Have you read the Acrobat JS API Reference about the insertPages and the path value and restrictions?
insertPages now needs to use the "privileged context" when not being run as a console or batch event.
Safe path
Acrobat 6.0 introduced the concept of a safe path for JavaScript methods that write data to the local hard drive based on a path passed to it by one of its parameters.
A path cannot point to a system critical folder, for example a root, windows or system directory. A path is also subject to other unspecified tests.
For many methods, the file name must have an extension appropriate to the type of data that is to be saved. Some methods may have a no-overwrite restriction. These additional restrictions are noted in the documentation.
Generally, when a path is judged to be not safe, a NotAllowedError exception is thrown (see Error object) and the method fails.

Javascript error for instagram videos only in firefox

I still have no luck with anyone having a solution to this issue , which started with Firefox 35.1 and today Firefox did a 36.0 update and the issue is still not fixed
Issue , i try to watch videos from Instagram on a motorcycle forum , and on riders own pages and they wont play weather i click on the link to Instagram itself where the video is , or if its embedded into the forum topic (i do not , nor have i ever had a Instagram account , but was always able to view the videos until the 35.01 update) and the video shows up , but when you click on the arrow in the middle of the video to play it , the video just sits there and does nothing , in the lower corner of the web page , right above my taskbar , i see " javascript;" , so i am guessing its some javascript issue , but Oracal does not show any issues , and it only happens in Firefox , Google Chrome plays the same video fine , this is a example of the videos i am trying to watch but wont play

How can I resolve installer errors for iCloud Control Panel?

I tried to install the latest iCloud Control Panel setup from the web on my Windows PC but keep getting installer errors that prevent iCloud's configuration. Can anyone assist?

Since my initial posting here, I've attempted a few more installations. Each time a file from /Library/Application Support/Adobe/ssc/ would appear with the same error DF024, and it was always an alias. So each time I would replace the old alias with a new manually created alias pointing to the same original as the old alias. Sure enough, when I relaunched the installer, error DF024 with the old alias no longer appeared, but a new error DF042 with another alias from the same directory did appear. Then I manually replaced all aliases found in the /Library/Application Support/Adobe/ssc/ directory with new ones I created.
Upon rebooting and relaunching the installer program, the program did not stop at around 12% as consistently it did up until now. Instead, it progressed to 80% before it stopped and reported a huge number of new errors. Most of them pertain to the inability to roll back the installation it had attempted. No files from /Library/Application Support/Adobe/ssc/ appeared in the new log report.
To gain a better understanding of the logs, I downloaded AdobeSupportAdvisor and tried using it, but it referred me to online solutions that weren't relevant to my situation (i.e., one mentions Photoshop CS4 and I've never installed CS4).
I also tried following the articles from the Adobe knowledgebase:
cspid_84451: Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6
which is fine if you only have a few errors, and
cspid_83481: Installation, launch log errors | CS5, CS5.5, CS6, CCM
which doesn't list error DF024.
At this point I've decided to not not make anymore attempts without some expert guidance.
The log file seem too large to post here. If you would like review the log, I can perhaps post it on www.pastebin.com unless you can suggest a better way. Please let me know.

The tools I using to Deploy is
SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio. and I'm follow the tutorial from it, I have enter the sdm password and operate the delopyment, but when it create the ear file, then the error have occur and catch the error about:

I have try to login as j2eadm to operate the deployment, but the error message is same.
as you say, the user "SDM" or "J2EE_ADMIN" user account I haven't find in my windows XP.
and one more question, does the project need to deploy success then the web page "Web Dynpro Content Administrator" could find the project?
lastly, I have try to login to SDM by using the SAP given program C:\usr\sap\J2E\JC00\SDM\program\RemoteGui for testing, It was success. and does the default SDM account could change the permission by different password?

Deployment error for Web Dynpro application

Hello, I have developed a new Web Dynpro Welcome application in my local system, which is my laptop. I have both the NW Dev Studio and the app server on my laptop.
When I try to deploy and run the application I get the below error. As far I am concerned I have logged in as j2eadm user and trying to deploy.

SDM Password issue and errors for Web Dynpro Deployment

Hi,
After checking on SDN with regards to SDM Password and issue, I wonder what is the REAL default password for SDM when deploying web dynpro application.
Some mentioned it's "sdm".
Some mentioned it's "admin"
If refer to documentation (from Sneak Preview SAP Netweaver 2004), it's "abcd1234".
Anyhow, it accepted "admin" for my case, but I got an error when I click on "Deploy New Archive & Run". Hope someone can help me on this error. The error message as below:

Another issue is, although i am not able to deploy successfully (not even once), but if i click on "Run", it will launch browser, and the web dynpro program is works. Problem is, it's the old version. It deosn't display the latest version.
Can any guru out there explain and provide solution?

Error message sounds like "Administrators have the right to perform this operation". do you have admin rights? for deploying.

Javascript error in web Dynpro iViews

Hello,
I've developed a web Dynpro page which accesses the default database ( maxdb). This page is working fine when tested by calling the application from the browser.
Now I've created an web dynpro iview in portal ( EP-6 SP15- Sneak preview). I get java script errors - <i>SSR undefined</i> and none of the drop down boxes are populated.
Can anyone help me out in this?
