Javascript in Mozilla and IE6 browser don't like JSC generated id naming

If you include javascript code for example
if ( document.getElementById(form1:hitDatum).value == '' ) {
alert('test');
}between script tags in the page, both browsers complain about a missing )
Javascript seems to have a problem with the : that is included in the generated id for the input component form1:hitDatum on the form.

Incorrect Viewing of Site when using mozilla and other browser

Dreamweaver 8, when previewing at Internet Explorer my site is ok
including margins and other, and then when i tried to view at
Mozilla Firefox the layout is quite incorrect such as layout and

PhotoShop cs4 and Illustrator cs4 don't like each other

Okay I'll make this as simple as I can. Im on Windows 7 64bit.
I have some graphics I need to get out of illustator and into PhotoShop. I tried the following:
1. Copy/Paste into PS : Results in crashing PhotoShop.
2. Disabled PDF in illustrator clipboard preferences tried copy paste again: Results in crashing PhotoShop
2.5 At this point hitting CTRL + N in PS: Results in crashing PhotoShop. I have to go copy an image out of my browser to clear the clip board so PS will stop crashing
3. Saving out an .ai file and open it in PS : Results in crashing PhotoShop.
4. Saving out an .eps file and open it in PS : Results in crashing PhotoShop.
The only way to do it is to save out a PNG. This however makes the entire smart object feature usless.
Anyone else having issues.
This was working fine in the past. The only thing I can think of is the latest Windows 7 update might have screwed up the clipboard. But that is just a guess.

Photoshop will crash.
If you have a bad font then you have to find it and the best way is process through elimination. Divide the fonts in half and if Photoshop does not crash then you know the font is in the other half. Keep doing it until you find the corrupt font or fonts. Best way is to try and remember what 3rd party fonts were installed in windows and remove those.

IOS 4.2 and Airport Extreme don't like each other

I have three iPod Touch's - one 3G and two new 4G's. The 3G never had any problems connecting to the Extreme until it was upgraded to iOS 4.2 now it rarely even sees the Extreme even if I am sitting right beside the router. The 4G's also rarely even see the Extreme. Occasionally they will "connect" but I do not actually get an IP address and thus no actual internet connection.
I did set up a guest network on the Extreme sans security so I could ty and connect with any WEP/WPA issues. Again the iPods will sometimes see the Extreme but when it "connects" I almost never get an IP address. On one occasion I was able to connect to the guest network and did get an IP address and a net connection but it was so slow it was essentially unusable.
All three iPods will connect to other routers (non-Airport Extreme) without any problems. Fortunately all 3 devices can also connect to my MiFi without any problems whatsoever.
My Mac Mini connects wirelessly to the Airport Extreme without any problems and I have other devices connected to the Airport Extreme via ethernet cabling and all work without any problems.
I have tried all the usual resets, restarts, etc. to no avail.
I was going to go ahead and just buy a new Airport Extreme thinking that perhaps the problem may just be with the radio transceiver part of the router. However, since the Mac Mini connects wirelessly just fine the radio transceiver in the router is probably ok.
It appears to me that judging by my problems and from other folks having similar issues with iOS 4.2 devices that there seems to be a serious bug with that iOS version and wifi connections to Apple's own router and apparently some other wifi routers.
I hope Apple addresses this issue soon!!!

and get the updated JVM for XP. XP doesn't come with the latest JVM installed. Instead IE is using the MS piece of crap that they are legally allowed...
Anyway, if you load the JVM from the auto installer at that link, your IE options (advanced) will be set to use this JVM instead of the MS piece of crap. If you manually download and install (no real good reason to) you will have to change the preference yourself (there're instructions).
I use XP prof and SDK's for 1.4 and 1.3 plus the websphere eclipse for limited devices and regular Java, and haven't had a problem with any of it -- but I updated the JVM early and made sure IE points to it.
I also have my XP machine dual boot with SUSE 8.0 Linux. Actually, XP prof has been really stable for me.

Why does the new iOS 8.0.2 software refresh your apps if you back out to text or check another app? It's frustrating and its racking up my data charges and I really don't like it!

look I updated my phone to iOS 8.0.2 and now any time I back out of an app to text someone or check on another app it refreshes the page (if I'm on the internet) or the app and it's really annoying. If someone could please tell me how to fix this or just help get a new software up please do. It is racking up my data usage with all the refreshing and its getting really annoying and expensive.

Same issue here both with my iphone 5S as well as my iPad2. THe sync to my macbook air does not complete and it shows a large overcapacity level when connected, but once I disconnect there is plenty of room (4 GB) available, not a 20 GB overage.

Don't Like New Mailbox on iPhone

I have the iPhone 3Gs and yesterday when I connected my phone to my itunes account, it said there was a new software version to download, so I did. Now my mailbox is too complicated and I don't like it at all. I wish they had given me a choice and explained the new differences FIRST. There are too many menus within one mail account and I just don't like it. I don't like multiple mail accounts all mixed into one either. I know I don't have to use that feature, but still....Can I get my ORIGINAL mailbox back?

Completely agree. I spent 2 hours last night downloading the upgrade as an app required the new OS. The ridiculous mail system really *****. I have a mail in my inbox from Geoff. When I open the mail I find another 4 potential mails and find the latest is from Mike not Geoff. How confusing, time consuming and unnecessary.
I now have to spend another night trying to go back to the previous OS.
I used to like iphone - am really disappointed with the lack of forethought and practicality on this issue.

I don't like the new toolbars or task bars or address bars or whatever you call them. In fact I refused to update my other computer because of the confusion the new version has caused me. What does "javascript:void(0);" mean; iget it when i click on a menu option to do something and nothing gets done?

I'm not even sure this is a Firefox issue; on Epicurious.com there is an option to add a recipe to your recipe box. I've used it many times and it always worked, but since I upgraded to the newest Firefox I click on that link and the window at the bottom of the screen says "javascript:void(0); - and nothing happens. I'm using Windows XP pro.

javascript:void(0); in a link is usually a placeholder for an onclick action that is done by clicking the link.<br />
It is possible that the onclick JavaScript isn't compatible with Firefox 5 and needs updating.

Seriously, more and more people are leaving Mozilla because of constant crashes after opening few tabs. I don't like google chrome as I am using this browser for years and the only thing I hate here is crashing. If chrome doesn't crash, why can't you copy their solution and stop crashing in new version of Mozilla firefox?
My internet connection is fine, so is speed, so there aren't some other causes of crash, and many Mozilla users I knew stopped using it and are now using chrome. Please do something about it, don't let google outnumber you.

HELP!! "remove render-blocking JavaScript" and "leverage browser caching"

My Adobe Muse website, www.realtorindfw.com, (desktop version) was loading just fine until yesterday. Now it loads very slowly, I tried to reduce image size, thinking that might be the problem (even though it used to load incredibly fast even when the images were 4x larger, so I shouldn't have thought that). When that did not fix the problem I typed my site into Google's PageSpeed and found that the main issue is that I need to "remove render-blocking JavaScript" and "leverage browser caching."
It appears the main problem is that the file, http://webfonts.creativecloud.com/…eue:n4:all;open-sans-condensed:n3:all.js, is apparently the render-blocking JavaScript that is causing everything else to be delayed, in that the images cannot load until this line is resolved and that can take up to a minute. From reading online, it looks like if I could move this line of code to the bottom, then it wouldn't hold everything else up, since no assets would be behind it. I obviously know nothing about coding though (which is why I use Muse). How can I go about resolving this render-blocking JavaScript issue?
Also, the "leverage browser caching" issue is that some images don't have an expiration date associated with them. I don't believe this has anything to do with me and instead is some sort of Muse issue. Is there a way I can fix this?
My page was loading just fine, until I randomly uploaded again and all these problems started. Please type my site into PageSpeed and look at the problems for the desktop version and see if you can figure out how this can be resolved. Like this is a big deal... If a client get there head around webmaster tools. As they should. And they see a red mark "remove render-blocking JavaScript" and "leverage browser caching." or content above the fold. What am i going to do?

I had a major problem with my PC yesterday, and subsequently had to reload Mozilla Foxfire. When reloaded, it opened with "Welcome to AOL - Mozilla Foxfire". I don't want AOL associated or tagged with Foxfire. I went in to "Programs and Files" and deleted everything with AOL, including Quicktime. Tried loading Foxfire again, but it still opened with AOL tagged. I do use AOL for emails and some browsing, but I want to use Foxfire soley for browsing and search engine. And yes, I did also reload AOL. Can't seem to figure out why AOL is tagging onto Foxfire. Hopefully I have not lost all of my Foxfire Bookmarks - that would really suck.
