Jboss problem: javax.naming.ServiceUnavailableException

Question

I successfully created and deployed the 'Interest' example bean with Jboss 2.2.2 (JDK 1.3). Although when I come to execute the client I get this error:
javax.naming.ServiceUnavailableException: Connection refused: connect [Root exception is java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect]
This example definitely works, because it has been tried before. I am running this on a NT machine, which possibly could make the difference.
Anyone else had this problem? Any solutions?

The following is the jndi connection setup:
      Properties env = new Properties();
      env.setProperty("java.naming.factory.initial",  "org.jnp.interfaces.NamingContextFactory");
      env.setProperty("java.naming.provider.url",  "localhost:1099");
      env.setProperty("java.naming.factory.url.pkgs",  "org.jboss.naming");
      try
         // Get a naming context
            InitialContext jndiContext = new InitialContext(env);
         System.out.println("Got context");
//THIS is where the error is caused!
         // Get a reference to the Interest Bean
         Object ref  = jndiContext.lookup("interest/Interest");
         System.out.println("Got reference");Below is the contents of the jndi properties file:
java.naming.factory.initial=org.jnp.interfaces.NamingContextFactory
#java.naming.provider.url=localhost
java.naming.factory.url.pkgs=org.jboss.naming
This all matches up! I'm going to try checking through all the other properties files.
If anyone has any other ideas i just throw them at me!
