JCE Problem(not signed by a trusted signer) with J2RE 1.4.1 IBM Windows usi

The application is working fine with J2RE 1.3 but is giving the following error with J2RE 1.4.1.
java.security.NoSuchProviderException: JCE cannot authenticate the provider SunJCE java.util.jar.JarException: file:/C:/Workspace5.1/ukfnwLOCALHOST/ukfnwWeb/WebContent/WEB-INF/lib/sunjce_provider.jar is not signed by a trusted signer.
I am facing the same problem with IAIK, Cryptix and SunJCE Providers.

I was facing the same issue. Some where on the web I read that the following would fix it-
Move <j2sdk dir>/jre/lib/jce.jar to some other location. I did this and restarted the web server and my servlet works fine with cryptix and jsse libraries.

I have signed my jars with jarsigner and same certificat. I have verify with jarsigner -verify -cert -verbose.
But JWS says than my jars are not signed with the same certificat. I don't undestand why.

How can I know what is the jar with bad certificat ?

if you set deployment.property file entry:
deployment.trace.level=all
you should see some debug output in the console and trace file that might help determine what jar it is (I am assuming you are using javaws 5.0)
The problem is probably that although you use the same root certificate chan you purchased for each jar file, the entire certificate chain is not the same.
pleas post the full set of steps you used to sign each jar.

I'm developing and iOS app in Flash but when I'm gonna upload it via application loader this error pop up "Application failed codesign verification. The signature was invalid, or was not signed with an Apple submission certificate."
I've renew my certificates, etc for several times but still have a same problem,

Hi, I am having the same issue, can someone help? It is the first time I'm trying to upload to iTunes Connect. My app is running fine on my test iPhone device, my project is currently set to use the developer certificate. I realize I probably need to change that, but I didn't find instructions that work.

Problem when signing with Reader 11.0.08

I tried to sign using stylus for Reader 11.0.08. However, it requires double-tap to activate when signing the PDF doc.
It is difficult for people to sign with multiple strokes (lift up the stylus for space or separating names).
In Reader 10.1.4, user can sign much easier (not have to active with double-tap).
Is there any setting in Adobe Reader or editing in Adobe Pro version to fix this issue?

I use Lenovo IdeaPad, Yoga 11S, with non-digitized stylus(similar to this).

i have developer p12 on my windows
i have distribution p12 on my windows
when i publish in air for ios i use the distribution p12, with tje windows.
upon creating the ipa i copied the ipa file to mac, then chnged it to zip, and when trying to add application with application loader (on the mc) i get this error ll the time.
please help.

Keyboard problems, not working keys and different connection with letters

PLEASE HELP ME, The background is this: Yesterday I have done for the first time the time machine with my external hardisk, and I try to delete also all remains documents of windows from virtual machine Parallel (I delete it after trial version and I still have windows data in the mac).
(I dont know if is connected to the problem)
After this, this morning the keyboard start to work bad, some keys don't work, like ENTER or P or Volume Buttons, but the strange thing is that some other work differently, like pushing the left arrow it type "à".
I try to change Mac, in order to understand if is a software problem, but nothing, it didnt work also on different computer.
It's not a keyboard lenguage problem as you can think, I changed, lenguage, and nothing, in fact this does not explain why some keys dont work,
In the keyboard visor, I can see which key works and which not, and some like, down arrow, is perennially insert, and furthermore, up volume work as backspace.
So, a series of strange problems.
-keys that dont work
-wrong connection (key-letters)
-and keys always "ON"
I'm sure that no liquid went on the keyboard, and the keyboard is new, (less than 6 month, bought at Apple store)

Ok, I try again, and I followed perfectly the process, the "UTILITY DISC PAGE" was due to the fact that the "P" button doesnt work, therefore, it get just option+cmd+R
Oh, really this is very strange. I try this keyboard on an other mac and it didnt work (it fail the configuration process because the "ENTER KEY" doesnt work)
I try also a USB keyboard on my mac and it was all OK.
So, it seems to be a software problem of my bt keyboard, there isnt a way to reset? My w2207h HP Monitor is not working on my macbook pro with hdmi minidisplayport adapter. On Windows 7 via bootcamp it works. What can i do ?

As is said my HP w2207h monitor is not working with a minidisplayport to hdmi adapter and a hdmi cable which is working fine for my PS3. So the cable is not the problem. And on my TV i also have no problems at all activating a second monitor. Therefore the adapter isnt the problem either. When i plug it in the typical bluescreen appears. Then after a few seconds it appears again and there is no second monitor recognized. I also used the "recognize Monitor" button without success. Please help me, are there any special drivers or something like that ?
PS: bought a high end expensive adapter now because the old one was very cheap. But didnt help. Still stuck on the macbook not recognizing anything !

If you have an external drive you can hook up to the MacBook Pro I believe there *may* be a solution by getting an image to the MacBook Air.
On the MacBook Pro with the Windows install disk in the DVD drive fire up disk utility. Select the DVD and then hit the "New Image" button. Disk Utility should offer to create a disk image from the DVD. I would put that disk image on a USB drive connected to the Pro. You should be able to mount that image when you connect up to the Air. Hopefully BootCamp will be able to access that all through the process.
If that doesn't work (the drivers don't recognize the disk image once Windows gets underway for its install), you might try copying the installation files from the DVD to FAT32 formatted USB stick or drive and then using that to install Windows. I would expect Windows would be able to see the USB FAT32 drive and I don't believe any file on the drive is going to go beyond 4GB.
I haven't actually tried BootCamp on the Air, since I just use VMWare which has no issue installing from anything OSX can see. But BootCamp is going to eventually hand off operations to Windows and that's going to complicate matters--Windows has to be able to see the drive. While I believe there are drivers that let Windows connect to that drive, there's no way to authenticate (or even load the drivers I expect) before Windows itself is loaded--so it's a "chicken/egg" problem.

If i resume with the version 11.0.9, the connection with the smartcard driver is not etablish, but it is possible to read the certificat with the windows store.

We have deployed our application on SAP NetWeaver 6.40 SP11. We have used j2sdk1.4.2._12 and in our application we are using cryptography. But when we start our application it is giving following exception
java.lang.SecurityException: Cannot authenticate JCE framework java.util.jar.JarException: jar:file:/C:/j2sdk1.4.2_12/jre/lib/jce.jar!/ is not signed by a trusted signer.
Same cryptography is working on other application servers.

Btw i think problem was caused with multiple libraries in system using same classes.
There was some archaic jce.jar in SUNwam or somewhere.

im trying to use 3rd party security provider signed with SUN, however, after everything is properly configured and i run webapplication code (sun app server 8.1) that should load registered 3rd party provider application crashes with following exception:

Hi,
I have just installed Ovi suite 3.0.0.284 as suggested through software update and it works but I cannot sign into my account. I enter my details and I get an error as attached.
The following things are ok:
I can check for updates
I can sync everything
I can download new maps
I can browse the internet on my computer and get my email, etc
I can logon to Ovi online with these details and I could be fore upgrading.
Does anyone else have this problem or a solution?

Some suggestions for your Ovi account issues:
I can not sign in my Ovi account with Nokia Ovi Suite 3.0, why?
With Nokia Ovi Suite there is currently a known problem with expired certificates that can potentially prevent OVI account sign-in.
As a workaround you can remove the problematic certificates manually:
Go to Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Options > Content > Certificates > Trusted Root Certification Authorities. Delete all GTE CyberTrust certificates whose expiration date has passed. You should be left with one GTE certificate that is valid.
Why i am not able to sign my Nokia Ovi account with Nokia Ovi Suite?
-Intermittent problems are most likely network connectivity or server problems.
If the user cannot sign in at all through Nokia Ovi Suite (NOS) but can sign in to ovi.com through a web browser then the reason is most likely one of the following:
- firewall settings do not allow nokia server process to communicate with the server,
- proxy settings are not configured correctly in Internet Explorer (NOS uses IE proxy configuration),
- proxies require authentication but credentials have not been provided in NOS settings,
- the internet service provider does not allow access to ovi.com (but in this case sign in with a browser would not work either if the same network connection is being used), or
- Windows WinTrust framework is not functional so nokia server cannot verify the signature of Nokia Ovi Suite (This may be a problem in pirate/unregistered versions of Windows or if the PC has been infected with a virus)

I am getting the following Security exception while running a Java stand-alone program on Linux.
The stand-alone program internally calls the JCE (Java Cryptography Extension) library for Encryption of data. The JCE Unlimited Strength Jurisdiction policy files are downloaded from Sun.
Does anybody have the solution for this error?
Is there Security policy modification to be made for the same?

Problem with Maverics: Can not sign in to App Store, Mac slow, Aperture not working

I was using a Mac Book Pro 15" supplied with Snow Leopard. I have created an ID and used it to purchase apps such as Aperture. After buying an iPhone 5S, I wanted to share the contacts and was suggested by the seller to upgarde the Snow Leoprad to Maverics and use the iCloud. After installing the Maverics following happened:
- I can use iCloud and share the contacts, mission completed
- the Mac is running slow, really slow (as an old pc)
- Aperture can not be used, a major problem since all of my photos are stroed on an external disk via Apeture
- I can not sign in to App Sore to refresh my purchases and see if there is an update for Aperture
- I tried to sign in by clicking the forgot password and entering my ID (e-mail address) but have received no mail - total mistery
- I also see that the HP 7610 printer icon is not active and assume that will also be a problem
What should I do? I need a fast running computer. I need Aperture, all of my private and business photos are accessible only via Aperture. I can sign in with the same ID/password on an iPad. The problem is obviously due to installing the Maverics. I do not have a time machine/capsule.
Urgently need support, please help.

Correction: I did correctly enter my Apple ID and its password. And there are no parental controls.
But I found a fix: I went to the Featured page and it showed me as logged in. I clicked the Account link and in the pop-up for that entered my Apple ID and Password. Now I can once again see my Purchases.
It would seem to have been some undue delay or glitch at the Apple server end.

Well, I contacted SecCommerce about the issue, the response was, that I should sign the file later (afterwards). This is a solution, but not the best in my opinion.
When I sign the document the SecSigner window/Java window appears and freezes. Adobe is not responding. I have to terminate Adobe because the program is not responding.
I only found this support website, so I have realized that this is a User 2 User site, but it was a try to get some help.
