Hi
here the scenario idoc having one header and one details segments, header data goes to one sql table detail date to another sql table.
i created the sql structure in two ways one
table name

access
detail table

in both ways one header table is updating detail table not. please help how to data will go in both tables

I am trying to execute idoc-jdbc scenario....i went through the blog

in this blog the data type for the receiver jdbc adapter is mentioned with a specific structure....is this kind of structure compulsary for receiver jdbc adapter....and if i have to follow the same structure can any one please explain me the significance of the elemetns of the receiver jdbc adapter structure..
also in this blog i didnt figure out where did the author specifiy the target table name and target column names...

How to design an IDOC-XI-JDBC interface

Hello Experts!
I'm looking for some guidance on how to design an interface where R/3 is sending an IDOC to XI (via IDOC Adapter Receiver), then XI transforms this data into a JDBC database INSERT action.
I want to make to make the JDBC request a SYNC interface so that I can capture the number of rows inserted into the database and do some appropriate action when the insert count returns a zero value.
Since the IDOC to XI interface is ASYNC, how do I design my link so I can redirect the JDBC response out to a different adapter?

What to specify in my JDBC receiver communication channel

Hi!
In my Receiver comm channel I have selected
Adapter Type:JDBC
Receiver
Transport protocol: JDBC 2.0
Message Protocol: XML SQL Format
Adapter Engine: Integration server
JDBC driver:??????
Connection: ??????
I dont have any idea as what to give here, How do i check which JDBC driver i am using? and also Connection parameters?

RFC , IDoc , XI and JDBC receiver communication channel--- Good Design

Hi Experts,
We have developed around 60+ interfaces on PI7.1 EHP1, in that 20 interfaces sending data to Data Base using JDBC receiver communication channel, 15 interfaces ABAP inbound proxy using XI adapter,10 Scenarios using IDoc receiver channel and 15 scenarios using RFC receiver channel.
But I have created only one IDoc, XI , JDBC and RFC channel.
Is it right idea/design or do I need to create more channels to handle multiple request.
Please share your thoughts on this.

Hi,
For XI,RFC and Idoc when it's pointing to one SAP system you don't need any further comm channels.
For JDBC , if you are pointing to only one database you can use the same channel, if the target/databse changes you need more comm channels.
Your Design is as per the standards.

IDOC to JDBC receiver adapter: SQLServerException after INSERT

Hello,
we are using SAP XI 3.0 and I have to set up an asynchronous IDOC to JDBC scenario.
Informations coming via IDOC have to be inserted into an MS SQL database. The ID for each dataset will be set automatically when inserting, so there is no update. I have used the following structure:
When sending an IDOC, the data will be inserted into the database, but in the Runtime Workbench the following Exception occurs:
' SQLServerException. A result set was generated for update. '
It seems to me, that the result information of the database can't be handled in the JDBC adapter.
Anybody an idea if this is a issue on the XI or maybe of the database itself?

hi,
try setting logSQLStatement as described in OSS note 801367
to see what get executed in the statement and you will know
what to change in XI then - this is the proper way to debug jdbc issues

Not able to insert the data in JDBC receiver

hi Team,
Please help me i am working on IDOC - JDBC interface i am not able to insert data into the table.
error says that table doesn't exists, but if i check in the database the table exists..
below is the error getting triggered.
could not execute statement for table/stored proc."A_PORDER_REG"(structure " STATEMENT") due to
java.sql.SQLException: ORA - 00942 table does not exist

Might be u have given table name is diffarent, table name must be match in table field of jdbc receiver structure and table name of data base tables.both places u must give the same table names . this is one reason another one u might be given jdbc structure is wrong. u must specify jdbc structure like this.
   STATEMENT
   TEST
    action(attribute) (action u specify as INSERT)
   TABLE( here u give the table name )
access ( below u write the fields)
and one more is u check the receiver communication channel in that u check properly u have given jdbc drivers, connections , user name and pass word.
check all those things definatly u wil find the error.

JDBC - XI - IDOC scenario, SM58 error

I am trying to set up a scenario with JDBC -> XI-> IDOC. I seem to get the data, but when I look at it in SXMB_MONI, I get the checkered flag, for the overall status, but a red flag for the outbound status. This led me to SM58 where I see this error "No authorization to send IDocs with message type Z...". It shows the caller ID as being XIAFUSER (which is different from the ID I have created on the receiving SAP system) and is in function module IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS. On XI, I have the RFC (SM59) and Port (IDX1) setup for the receiving SAP system. The receiving system has an ID setup (used in the RFC on XI), has a partner profile, port, logical system, and a RFC to XI setup.
Any ideas on where to track this down? I tried giving XIAFUSER sap_all, and it still fails and this ID does not exist on the receiving system.

Just to inform you that, if any SM58 error, mainly because of IDX1 entry and RFC destination .
So that;s the reason , i just suggested to check this SAP note.
Now you have given SAP_ALL access to test right ? Even you can check with this SAP note-837595
Also check that SM59 (RFC destination) in XI system uses any User ID ? DO not select CURRENT USER option here.. and check it

JDBC to IDOC Error

Hi Guys
On my Scenario Jdbc to Idoc (Asynch) I am using FLCUSTOMER_CREATEFROMDATA.FLCUSTOMER_CREATEFROMDATA01
as a Receiver Interface, now when testing on the sxmb_moni I get two flags the Black and While and the Red the one the is Back and While shows that the Sender is my JDBC Adapter which is right
but now the Red flag show that the Sender is IDoc(FLCUSTOMER_CREATEFROMDATA.FLCUSTOMER_CREATEFROMDATA01) is also Sender of which I used it as a Receiver Interface, I dont know how to stop this IDoc Adapter not to send but to receiver.
Basical my scenario is meant to create an IDoc but is is not doing it when going to TCode WE02/WE05 I get message : "No IDocs selected"

RFC Destinatin: IDOC_RECEIVER
Interface Version: SAP Release 4.0 or Higher
Port: SAPPI1
SAP Release: 701

Dear All,
I am working on IDoc to JDBC and JDBC to IDoc Scenario.
I have to send Idoc from SAP to Non SAP system(.NET application) i almost configured in XI but still i don't know when my INTEGRATION will INVOKE how my data will proceed from IDOC to Oracle database(Through JDBC) and in case of revese how and when Data flow will start.
Does anyone have completed STEP by STEP scenario document for this?
How my Idoc will sent to XI?
How XI will pick up data from IDoc?
How XI will Convert data to JDBC and UPDATE in Oracle Database?
And i reverse case(JDBC to IDoc) when my INTEGRATION will INVOKE?
Where and When i can watch my process and data?
How can i test the whole integration?
I AM GETTING ERROR WHILE TESTING CONFIGURATION IN Integration Directory "Error while refreshing the XI runtime cache" and when i check this in SXI_CACHE it gives me error
"Unable to refresh cache "NO_BUSINESS_SYSTEM"
"Error during last refresh to cache"LCR_GET_OWN_BUSINESS_SYSTEM - NO_BUSINESS_SYSTEM"

JDBC to Idoc scenario - change of logical system name

Hi,
I have a JDBC to idoc scenario that worked. Now i had to change the logical system name from my sender system from ABC_123 into ABC123 in the SLD (Business System - Integration - Logical System name). I did so and also refreshed my Cache.
Afterwards I started the process, but it failed in the Receiver system. The idoc is correct expect of the partner name. My receiver system expect ABC123 - as I changed in the SLD - but PI send ABC_123.
If io look in SXI_CACHE - Services my Business System still got the "old" name (ABC_123).
Did i miss something resp. how can i load the current configuration from SLD?

Hi Michael,
Again Import the changed logical system in the Integration directory of you PI system.
And check the scenario (Sender Agreement, Receiver agreement ) what system they are reflecting.
If they are showing old system then you have to replace the business system in all the scenario.

Jdbc receiver error in RWB

My scenario is Idoc to jdbc..
I m able to successfully send the idoc from R3 and it is received in XI also.
However the message does not reach to database and am getting the following error in RWB of XI.
"Error when attempting to get processing resources: com.sap.aii.af.service.util.concurrent.ResourcePoolException: Unable to create new pooled resource: DriverManagerException: Cannot establish connection to URL 'jdbc:oracle:thin:@172.25.XX.XXX:1521:<SID>': SAPClassNotFoundException: oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver"

IDOC-XI-JDBC scenario, jdbc sent too slow

i have a IDOC-XI-JDBC scenario,
the problem is that near 5 Lac IDOC is sent to XI, each IDOC is processes by an instance of the scenario, and the sent to the Database is too clow...means 4000 records per hour,
can i configure the JDBC receiver adapter in a way, so that it becomes faster/more concurrent,

First raise the issue to the DBA he might help resolve the ISSUE more efficently.
Secondly check in the JDBC adapter -> Adavance mode -> Disconnect from the data base after processing each message shouldn't be set.
Even check with Database Transaction Isolation Level -> default is value of the connected database.

Why not the other way around > Collect multiple idocs in a file restrict maxium number of idocs to required value then send the file ?

Hi,
I have scenario from IDOC to JDBC. My question is, can JDBC call be synchronous in this scenario, so I colud i 2. step update some Oracle table with new Vendor number. Second question is, is there on Internet some example of calling Oracle Customer function, or is it possible?
