JDBC Receiver Storedproducer result Capture

Hi Experts
                 I am doing RFC to JDBC synchronous .
My requirement is on Receiver side i am executing Storedproducer from  the   XI and i need capture the Result of the StoredProduer or If any filed updated in that row .
Table:
            ID        Name     Status
            01       upen         S/F        (updated by Database after activating storedproducer).
i will pass ID and name from the XI  and i need capture the Status  for that ID. For this how i need make my Response data type two capture ID and Status.
Thanks &Regards
Upendra

  • Problem between SOAP Sender and JDBC Receiver

    Hi,
    I have a asynchronous scenary between SOAP Sender and JDBC Receiver.
    The idea is sending an ID for updating one register.
    Table structure is:
    TABLE AS_PERSONA
        (P_RUT                         VARCHAR2(10) NOT NULL,
        P_NOMBRE                       VARCHAR2(50),
        P_APELLIDO                     VARCHAR2(50))
    The ID is the P_RUT field.
    The structure of message that I send by SOAP, is the following:
    <SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:SOAP-ENC="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
         <SOAP-ENV:Body>
              <m:MT_CONS_SOAP xmlns:m="urn:prueba:voliva">
                   <CONSULTA>
                        <P_RUT>15445</P_RUT>
                   </CONSULTA>
              </m:MT_CONS_SOAP>
         </SOAP-ENV:Body>
    </SOAP-ENV:Envelope>
    The JDBC receiver structure is:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <ns0:MT_CONS_PERSONA xmlns:ns0="urn:prueba:voliva">
         <Statement>
              <AS_PERSONA action="UPDATE">
                   <table>AS_PERSONA</table>
                   <access>
                        <P_NOMBRE>DELETE_BY_XI</P_NOMBRE>
                        <P_APELLIDO>DELETE_BY_XI</P_APELLIDO>
                   </access>
                   <key>
                        <P_RUT>15445</P_RUT>
                   </key>
              </AS_PERSONA>
         </Statement>
    </ns0:MT_CONS_PERSONA>
    When I do a call to SOAP by XMLspy, it returns a message without data, that means succesfull reply.
    I see message monitor and see the succesfull flag. But in the database it doesn't update the register.
    This scenario was proved using the File Sender and same JDBC Receiver, then result was succesfull.
    I proved SOAP Sender with a File Receiver, storing information from SOAP sender in an archive, and works well.
    Then I imagine that exist some problem between SOAP and JDBC. what could be happening ?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    Looks like the problem is with the JDBC receiver...try updating the value in the table by using a File-JDBC scenario..does it work..check the adapter monitor in RWB..

  • JDBC Receiver Adapter -- Synch Select. ERROR

    Hello,
    We have implemented the scenario described by Bhavesh Kantilal in blog 3928:
    JDBC Receiver Adapter -- Synchronous Select – Step by Step
    /people/bhavesh.kantilal/blog/2006/07/03/jdbc-receiver-adapter--synchronous-select-150-step-by-step
    but modified to our requirements.
    An Idoc is coming in, mapped to a sync receiver jdbc as described to collect data from a jdbc table.
    Result when connecting the oracle database with the jdbc receiver adapter:
    Error processing request in sax parser: Error when executing statement for table/stored proc. 'T_ST_MAINDRIVER' (structure 'STATEMENT'): java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
    Oh, like to complete the information by the payload from the jdbc rec. connect:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    - <ns0:MT_JDBC_LOOPUP_ID xmlns:ns0="http://www.xxx.org/excel">
    - <STATEMENT>
    - <TABLENAME ACTION="SELECT">
      <TABLE>T_ST_MAINDRIVER</TABLE>
      <ACCESS />
    - <KEY>
      <MAINDRIVER compareOperation="=">Optomechanical</MAINDRIVER>
      </KEY>
      </TABLENAME>
      </STATEMENT>
      </ns0:MT_JDBC_LOOPUP_ID>
    The table exists on the database. So, what is our mistake? Do you have any ideas?
    Best regards

    Hi Anil,
    I am back on my JDBC problem and I am one step further!
    Thank you for this hint. Looks like this is the solution.
    So I like to add my next question !
    My new error is resulting from my query command.
    I have set "=" to find a specific entry as compare operation.
    Error when executing statement for table/stored proc. 'IRIS.T_ST_MAINDRIVER' (structure 'STATEMENT'): java.sql.SQLException: FATAL ERROR document format in structure 'TABLENAME': unexpected value '=' for attribute 'compare' found
    Looks like this is not ok .
    This is my xml of this query:
    <ns0:MT_JDBC_LOOPUP_ID xmlns:ns0="http://www.xxx.org/excel">
       <STATEMENT>
          <TABLENAME ACTION="SELECT">
             <TABLE>IRIS.T_ST_MAINDRIVER</TABLE>
             <ACCESS/>
             <KEY>
                <MAINDRIVER compareOperation="=">Optomechanical</MAINDRIVER>
             </KEY>
          </TABLENAME>
       </STATEMENT>
    </ns0:MT_JDBC_LOOPUP_ID>
    Can you, or anybody else, give the helping idea?
    regards

  • Issue with processing time of JDBC receiver adapter

    Hi all,
    We are using PI 7.1 EHP1.
    We have an issue with JDBC receiver adapter taking too much time to process messages.
    We are using XML SQL format message protocol with INSERT_UPDATE as the document format.
    Each message can contain multiple records, i.e. 1 single message can result in many updates/inserts.
    Currently, time taken to process in 6-12 secs which is quite high considering the messages are not very large in size.
    We sent the statements to Oracle DBA to see if anything about the queries being used is causing issues. Awaiting inputs.
    In the mean time, wanted to check if there is anything that can be done from PI side that will help us improving the processing time.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Sailaja.

    Hi,
           i think the main cause is  query taking long time to execute in DataBase.
          -> increase the read time and response time in the JDBC receiver adapter.
      In the advanced mode table section of sender channel and receiver channel configurations, we can set driver properties for each DB connection. Any such property would have to contain prefix 'driver:'(with out quotes).
    For Oracle Database JDBC thin driver 10.2.0.3 version, the property oracle.jdbc.ReadTimeout helps to set read timeout while reading from the socket. Also for setting login time out in Oracle, we use oracle.net.CONNECT_TIMEOUT. To set these two properties use as follows: driver:oracle.jdbc.ReadTimeout 1000 driver:oracle.net.CONNECT_TIMEOUT 1000 The TimeOut Driver properties like ReadTimeout and CONNECT_TIMEOUT are in milliseconds.
    Refer note 1078420 for more details
    please go through this blog i hope it will help you.

  • Unicode issue jdbc receiver adapter

    Hi guys,
    I'm facing an unicode issue while trying to put some data into a MS database.
    The sender system is a SAP ERP 6.0 system.
    When we are trying to transfer some text in polish or korean or something else, this textes are not transferred correctly.
    I already checked the SAP Note 831162 FAQ: XI 3.0 / PI 7.0 / PI 7.1 JDBC Adapter
    and used the url parameter sendStringParametersAsUnicode=true
    Furthermore I changed my mapping to get the sql statements, so that I add the attribute hasQuot="no"
    and a leading N in front of the data string as described in the Note and in some threads in SDN
    Unicode problem in JDBC receiver adapter
    JDBC adapter , problem in inserting Korean Charaters in MS SQL
    but nothing solved my problem.
    any ideas?
    Do all the languages have to be installed on the XI system?
    Kind regards
    Jochen

    Hi Sarvesh,
    thanks for helping.
    Unfortunately I´m not sure what I should exactly do.
    If I get you wright I have to test the mapping using the test functionality in message mapping (test tab).
    I did this already
    The result message looks like this

    </ns0:IDOC_CDB_IMPORT_insert>
    How to proceed?
    copy this message to notepad or ultra edit and then doing what?
    please specify clearly.
    this message will be send to the jbdc adapter and this will insert it to database.
    <ns0:ATBEZ hasQuot="no">N&apos;D?ugo?? ca?kowita Tl; L:&apos;</ns0:ATBEZ>
    will end up in a table entry like D?ugo?? ca?kowita Tl; L:
    has anybody an idea how I will get the wright characters in database, when I test my UDF in eclipse, the variable during debugging has the correct text.
    When output this variable via system.ou.print(text); the same issue occurs, the special characters are shown as ?.
    I appreciate for your help, unfortunately my polish colleagues hustle a little bit.

  • Transaction Handling - JDBC Receiver Adapter - Multiple SP Calls

    Hello,
    I have the following scenario:
    I send an XML-SQL structure with multiple statment elements (each of them calling a different stored procedure). A stored procedure raises an error back to the JDBC Receiver Adapter in case of error.
    Is it possible to have transaction handling in the JDBC Receiver to ensure:
    - Commit only after ALL stored procedures where succesful (no error risen during calls)
    - Rollback of ALL already called stored procedures in case an error has been risen
    How can I implement these requirements in the JDBC Receiver Adapter?

    One more comment, I have found the following info for JDBC Drivers:
    <i> "JDBC driver's default is to autocommit, meaning that the result of every SQL statement is permanent as soon as it is executed. This is why the course hasn't had to be concerned with transactions so far, and is perfectly acceptable in many cases."</i>
    So I think that each SP-Call is automatically commited in case autocommit on JDBC Driver Level is set to "true". Does anyone know where I can change these settings? Directly on JDBC Receiver Adapter or do I have to go to Visual Admin for those changes?

  • JDBC(Sender)-XI-RFC (Request) RFC (Response)-XI-JDBC(Receiver)

    Hi All,
    JDBC(Sender)-XI-RFC (Request)
    RFC (Response)-XI-JDBC(Receiver).
    Need some solution for sending email for successfully completion of scenario after updating SQL DB Table.
    Let me explain the scenario:
    We are pooling the SQL DB table to pull the records and map the records to RFC request parameters, after successful Posting the entries in R3 HR, RFC response contain the same with E (Error) S (Success) records status, we are updating the same in SQL DB table, I implemented the complete scenario without BPM with the help of module processor in Sending JDBC Adapter, scenario is working fine but now we have to send the successful mail to our support team with status contain Number of success, Error and total records as email.
    I need the solution how to implement the same requirement in current scenario.
    Is their way to do something with the RFC receiver adapter module addition to send the successful mail or generating Alert with all the description?
    I am at PI 7.0 SP12 with HP unix box.
    Thanks in Advance for creative idea
    With Regards
    Sunil

    Hi Bhavesh,
    Thanks for your help and your blog is really helpful. I implemented the UDF for generating Email Alert but this alert is generating before Updating the SQL Database, is their any way to generate alert after updating the SQL.
    Actually in my scenario we are sending the data from SQL to R3 by RFC and again updating the SQL status whatever the RFC return, after successfully updating SQL we need to send success email to support people but if we are sending the email before updating the DB then their will be problem.
    JDBC receiver after updating the SQL DB returns the response with No. of row updated but how to capture this response, if we can capture this response then we can send email through email adapter even their is one more problem, In my scenario I am counting the number of rows with status “S” and “E” and sending the same in alert email but if are sending email after updating the SQL DB where can hold the row count value and use it while sending the email.
    Implemented the scenario without using BPM..i am using sender JDBC module processor for Syn-Asyn bridge.
    Even I do not find the link to reward point. Please let me know how to do it.
    With Regards
    Sunil

  • JDBC Receiver to ORACLE Stored Procedure

    Hi Experts
    I browed the forum and could not find a strait answer to my problem. Hence I am posting this thread.
    I have a sync call using JDBC Receiver to ORACLE stored procedure.
    The definition of the procedure is as follows:
    CREATE OR REPLACE procedure TW.XI_TEST
        (p_edi_extract_id varchar2, p_res out edi_extract%rowtype) is

    Hi Rajesh
    Changing the DT per your suggestion result in the following error:
    <SAP:AdditionalText>com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: Error processing request in sax parser:
    No 'action' attribute found in XML document
    (attribute "action" missing or wrong XML structure)</SAP:AdditionalText>
    Omitting the PROC_NAME element from the DT is not correct.
    Also, I would also like to clarify that the variables of the DT I am using are:
    EDI_EXTRACT_ID is defined as string
    EDI_EXTRACT is defined as string
    Because the variable p_res is mapped to nothing in the request payload it does not show.
    I read in one of the posts that this is correct and the variable is used due to the fact the isOutput attribute is true.

    Effi.

  • JDBC Receiver Adapter with Null Value

    HI,
    I have configured ID for JDBC Receiver. In my communication channel, I already check Integration of Empty String Values = Null Value. However, when I check the result from audit log, it still shows that SAP XI sends the null value to database. In my understanding, it should not send the field which has null value (It shouldn't be included in sql statement).
    I check this with other scenario. With the same check at Integration of Empty String Values = Null Value, it doesn't send null value to database. It happens only with my first scenario.
    Have anyone ever been through this before? Any suggestion please?
    Thanks,
    Pavin

    Hi,
    1. The occurrence is 0...1
    2. This is the first result with null value (Please see field Error)
    UPDATE EXPCRM_T_CustomerProfile SET RequestID=455, RecordNo=1, SAPCustomerCode=0001000344, Error=NULL, Status=2, UpdateDateTime=12/03/2008 13:45:03 WHERE (RequestID=455 AND RecordNo=1)
    Then, I change the option from Null Value to Empty string. This is the result.
    UPDATE EXPCRM_T_CustomerProfile SET RequestID=455, RecordNo=1, SAPCustomerCode=0001000344, Error=', Status=2, UpdateDateTime=12/03/2008 13:46:12 WHERE (RequestID=455 AND RecordNo=1)
    Field Error Change from NULL to '
    The expected result from me is that field Error should not exist at all. Please help.
    Thanks,
    Pavin

  • Alerts for JDBC Receiver Adapter

    Hi ,
    I am using JDBC receiver adapter. I have configured the alert category and Alert rules. Alerts are getting for Mapping etc.
    When ever error occured in the SQL server whether its firewall issue or some other issue. The alerts are not created. Instead I can see the error message in RWB Message monitoring and communicaton channel monitoring.
    Please let me know How can raise alerts if the error occured at the JDBC receiver side.
    Thanks in advance,
    Kevin

    Hi Kevin,
    Probabaly the alert rule did not capture the error in the adapter engine.
    The filter for sender and receiver interface details in the alert rule can cause this issue depending on when and how the error occured. Can you create an alert rule with * for all entries, for adapter engine and check?
    Also do NOT check the option "suppress multiple alerts from this rule" because it will prevent subsequent alerts from this rule, if there is already one and not yet confirmed.
    Further please check the alerts in SALRT table in se16 if its created properly or via transaction ALRTDISP.
    Please use the report SXMSALERT_LOGREADER for troubleshooting and checking the alert logs.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards,
    Francis

  • Escape character for apostrophe ' in JDBC receiver channel

    Hi all,
    We have Proxy to JDBC scenario in our project. This interface is working fine with unicode data but when there is an apostrophe( ' ) coming in any of the field values ( ex: DOWTHERM 'J' MODEL19QAGB1G ) , the message is failing in receiver JDBC channel.
    can anyone please tell us how to handle single quote in JDBC receiver channel.
    I have read in SAP help documentation that apostrophe is a reserved character in SQL syntax and is therefore replaced by an escape character if it occurs within value strings. There is a option to JDBC receiver communication channel under "SQL SYNTAX PARAMETER"  to specify the escape character for apostrophe.
    Can any please tell us which value needs to be maintained in the channel to avoid this error.
    Regards
    Jagruthi

    Hi Prateek,
    Thanks a lot for you inputs.
    This issue is solved now. We have replaced single quote with two single quotes and then did the hasQuote mapping as described in the blog.
    /people/prateek.srivastava3/blog/2009/04/02/unicode-handling-for-ms-sql-server
    No value needs to be maintained in channel(SQL SYNTAX PARAMETER ).
    But just want to understand  the difference between replacing the ' with '' in mapping and using SQL SYNTAX PARAMETER option in communication channel.
    Both should ideally result in same  output. But it didnu2019t work when we tried with two single quotes in SQL SYNTAX PARAMETER (Escape Symbol for Apostrophe) in communication channel without doing anything in mapping.

    I have synchronous scenairo of jdbc where we are executing the stored procedure, up to response message  mapping it is working fine and getting value from stored procedure but the problem is that response result not able to send to response target. where response is sending output ot jdbc receiver in response target.
    In SXMB_Moni we get response id like this

    Where access element is missing but in response mapping it is properly structured like this
    MT_SP_RESPONSE_TARGET     Element     DT_SP_RESPONSE_TARGET               null
    TESTSP     Element          1
    row     Element          1..unbounded

    How can I make a survey in 2 different languages so I receive my results also in 1 report?

    I am not sure what information to provide.  Here is what I am trying to do.  I am trying to create an HR questionnaire with multiple choice questions and several multiline textboxes to capture comments.  I want to send it out by email address and/or embed the questionnaire somewhere on the company's intranet website.  But we don't want the questionnaire to be anonymous. • Calling stored procedure multiple times in the JDBC receiver

    Hi,
    I am calling the stored procedure(SP) to update a DB table in the JDBC receiver.
    SP has 10 input parameters, and SP can receive one value for each parameter at a time.
    In my case, i will have multiple rows to insert using SP.i.e multiple values for each parameter.
    Its working correctly for a single value for each parameter, but when i have multiple values i want to call the SP multiples times.
    Is this possible and how?
    Thanks,

    I think you can have multiple statements in the JDBC Adapter's XML, as in http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/2e/96fd3f2d14e869e10000000a155106/content.htm.
    Here the StatementName1 node can be inserted into your JDBC XML as often as you want.
    Kind regards,
    Koen

  • Not able to insert the data in JDBC receiver

    hi Team,
    Please help me i am working on IDOC - JDBC interface i am not able to insert data into the table.
    error says that table doesn't exists, but if i check in the database the table exists..
    below is the error getting triggered.
    could not execute statement for table/stored proc."A_PORDER_REG"(structure " STATEMENT") due to
    java.sql.SQLException: ORA - 00942 table does not exist
    Thanks & Regards,
    Vishnu vardhan.

    Might be u have given table name is diffarent, table name must be match in table field of jdbc receiver structure and table name of data base tables.both places u must give the same table names . this is one reason another one u might be given jdbc structure is wrong. u must specify jdbc structure like this.
       STATEMENT
       TEST
        action(attribute) (action u specify as INSERT)
       TABLE( here  u give the table name )
    access ( below u write the fields)
    and one more is u check the receiver communication channel in that u check properly u have given jdbc drivers, connections , user name and pass word.
    check all those things definatly u wil find the error.
