JDev11g : How to add java servlet under ADF security policies

I'm trying to set a same login on http servlet ( i create it trough wizard in jDev ) as it is for other .jspx pages.
I configured the jazn-data.xml and login ( user roles, realms ) is working fine.
But i can't configure http servlet to be under this authorization.
This problem occured when I was migrating from jDev 11g TP4 to production also from OC4J to WebLogic,
but if I create a new http servlet I am also unable to put it under JAZN authorization.
Thank you in advance for your help, Rok Kogovšek

I reproduced problem on new test application, it was working fine until I set up ADF Security by wizard.
I choose ADF Authentication and Authorization then Http Basic Authentication ( on real project is form based but probablly this doesn't matters )
then for Identy store I chose Application XML, no automatic grants and without redirect.
I also set inside web.xml this ( to put servlet under same login as other pages ).
*<security-constraint>*
*<web-resource-collection>*
*<web-resource-name>testServlet</web-resource-name>*
*<url-pattern>/test</url-pattern>*
*</web-resource-collection>*
*<auth-constraint>*
*<role-name>valid-users</role-name>*
*</auth-constraint>*
*</security-constraint>*
When I finish this i got same error as on first project.
Here is whole error:

  • How to add Java projects to FlexBuilder2?

    In a recent
    Breezinar about
    Flex Data Services James Ward demonstrated how to to debug a
    Flex2/Java application by simultaneously setting breakpoints in
    both the ActionScript client and in the Java server from within the
    same instance of Flex Builder 2. The out-of-the-box FlexBuilder2
    doesn't have a Java project type. Anyone know how to add Java
    support to FlexBuilder2 to support the Java+ActionScript
    development environment demonstrated by James in his Breezinar

    When installing Flex Builder, select the option to install
    the Eclipse plugin
    version instead of the standalone version. The standalone
    version can only
    work with Flex projects, but the Eclipse plugin version
    *adds* Flex to

  • How to use ADF Security policies in OID Ldap

    Hello
    My application uses ADF security policies created by Jdeveloper ADF Security Wizard and page definition Edit Authorization menu. The application runs as expected using file based system-jazn-data.xml. I used the JAZNMigrationTool in order to migrate XML based policies to LDAP based policies. LDIF file was generated by the tool and then using the LDAPModify command the file was uploaded to the OID. No errors were generated during this process.
    I used Oracle Directory Manager in order to examine the migration result, and compare the output to that described by
    Introduction to ADF Security in JDeveloper 10.1.3.2
    An Oracle JDeveloper Article
    Written by Frank Nimphius, Oracle Corporation

    I was expecting to find Read, Update privileges in the orcljaznpermissionaction and the attribute name in the orcljaznpermissiontarget as shown in Fig 15 ADF security entry in OID.
    to narrow down the source of the issue, we examine the LDIF file, and there was no reference to these entries. Below is one example entry from the LDIF file
    dn: orclguid=EF37EAA603C611DDBFAE635A1BB60EE0,cn=Permissions,cn=Policy,cn=JAZNContext,cn=Products,cn=OracleContext,dc=realsoft,dc=com

    Note that the orcljazpermissionactions is empty and orcljaznpermissiontarget does not really specify the actual attribute name.
    The system-jazn-data.xml includes all entries correctly.

    finally solved,
    runing the JAZNMigrationTool requires setting the correct classpath,
    Setting the classpath to the following
    C:\>Set CLASSPATH=d:\jdevstudio10132\j2ee\home\jazn.jar
    allows you to run the Jaznmigrationtool successfully, however you will find that the generated LDIF file does not include the premission actions (Read, Update ...)
    if however, you add the adfshare.jar to the classpath
    C:\>Set CLASSPATH=d:\jdevstudio10132\j2ee\home\jazn.jar;d:\jdevstudio10132\BC4J\lib\adfshare.jar
    now the tool will migrate the permission policies , the following shows an extract from the LDIF file
    dn: orclguid=A5E662E204D411DDBF8807BC4864C5C2,cn=Permissions,cn=Policy,cn=JAZNContext,cn=Products,cn=OracleContext,dc=realsoft,dc=com

  • How to Add a Servlet Filter to Reports 11.1.1.2.0

    I am running Fusion Middleware 11g (Weblogic 10.3.2), with Oracle Forms/Reports 11.1.1.2.0. The installation is running the default managed servers WLS_FORMS and WLS_REPORTS.
    How can I add a Servlet Filter to the Reports 11.1.1.2.0 application which is running under the WLS_REPORTS managed server?
    I have read the Oracle Doc ID: 418366.1, which describes a process for adding a servlet filter to Reports Developer 10.1.2.2, but I am unclear as to which web.xml file I need to modify in weblogic and where to place the class file for the servlet filter.
    Thanks in advance for your help.

    I can provide some partial help.
    The set up I have was running it locally on Windows 7 (64 bit) laptop and running the reports server (version 11.1.1.4) in XP Mode as part of Windows 7 Professional.
    To find which web.xml file to change, I searched the directories for web.xml and then removed then renamed the web.xml files to something else to see which impacted the start up of the reports server.
    It turns out it was a web.xml file in web.war file in the following directory which impacted the start up:
    C:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\ClassicDomain\servers\WLS_REPORTS\tmp\_WL_user\reports_11.1.1.2.0\1ww4ab
    So used winzip to extract files, update web.xml file and and java class as a jar file in the WEB-INF\lib directory and zipped back up to a web.war and put it in the above directory and restarted the Reports Server.
    Note the url pattern I used was slightly different to that shown in the oracle note (forward slash before asterix):
    <url-pattern>/rwservlet/*</url-pattern>
    Have not investigated how to do in for a production environment, but hopefully this information is of use.
    Les.

    for example
    web application " A " contain web service add two number
    java servlet " B " send soap message contain num1 and num2 to A to add them.
    how can do this????

    I tried that but my problem is that the code is so old. At least what I saw. I don't know how old is too old and I'm trying to do things "right." I saw code from 1998, but I don't know if that's still what you do. It might still work, but that doesn't mean it's correct. There's so much out there on Java that so old that half the time I'm not sure what to do because some other technology in J2EE or the latest Java SDK might have come up with a new way to do things. Thanks.

    You can no longer do that via the user interface, but you need to check the related pref on the <b>about:config</b> page.
    The <b>javascript.enabled</b> pref should be true on the <b>about:config</b> page to enable JavaScript.
    You can open the <b>about:config</b> page via the location/address bar.
    You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.

  • How to add static data in ADF table using ADF 11g?

    Hi
    Can any one tell me how can I add static data in ADF table?
    Thanks

    You can try this one. I created this static table just for viewing purpose.
    Open Create View Object wizard
    Choose, “Rows populated programmatically, not based on a query” which is 3rd radio button option
    In Attribute tab, create some ‘Updatable’ Attributes
    Choose the AppModule in the final step.
    Drag and drop the view object as ADF table.
    Next, programmatically insert data in your backing bean.
            ApplicationModule applicationModule = this.getApplicationModuleForDataControl("TmpTableAppModuleDataControl");
            ViewObject vo = applicationModule.findViewObject("ProgViewObj1");
            Row newRow = vo.createRow();
            newRow.setAttribute("updAttr1", value1);
            newRow.setAttribute("updAttr2", value2);
            vo.insertRow(newRow); If you add this code in buton action you have to add button's partialTriggers to table id.
