JDeveloper embedded with userThreads

Hi All,
I am writing an application that uses user threads.
When running the application on a regular OC4J with the -userThreads parameter, it works fine.
When running the project from the jDeveloper using the embedded server, i get the following exception:

How do i start the embedded server with the -userThreads parameter?

I think that i they works is lucky, because your two modules get managed through the same class loader in your standalone oc4j
Correct if I'm wrong, but you should not trust using local references if they aren't implemented in the same instance of the classloader, which you can control

Audio files not embedding with .avi files in CS4

I am working on a project in Premiere Pro CS4. I successfully captured with firewire a number of clips and the audio embedded with the clip ( one .avi file shows up in explorer under the project. When I went back into the project, first, there was no audio captured at all and I did'nt notice until I had captured half of the clips (45 minutes). I don't know what happened there. Now, the audio is attached to the .avi file, but is not embedded like the previous captured files. Example First capture: File Name : Harlem 01.avi audio is embedded 2nd Capture Guilford 01.avi and Guilford 01. Stereo 1.wav
Why aren't the .avi files and the audio files embedded and combined as one file anymore?

For a Firewire transfer you don't need any "card" at all, only a Firewire port... usually on the motherboard
That said... and you mentioning switching back and forth between different Matrox modes... I would guess that, yes, you selected a wrong option

Hi. I use Adobe Acrobat XI pro to make a PDF ebook embedded with audio. It works really well on my computer-I can read the book and hear the auto play mp3. The problem is, when I send it to my customers, they have difficulty hearing the audio. A few of them say they have Flash player on their PC and somehow they still can't hear, some say their Google Chrome browser tells them they've already got one flash player while they try to download one. For me, I had to download two versions of Flash player to be able to access to the audio. I don't know what the problem is, is it because it's the latest version of Adobe Acrobat XI pro that people with older version of Adobe reader or flash player can't open it properly? Or is it something else? How can I make sure every customer with different system can access to my books? Hope to hear from you ASAP! Thank you very much.

And how are the customers accessing the PDFs?
What devices are they using?
What program or apps with versions are they using?
I this age of other then PDF eBooks formats and reader program and apss for computers and mobile devices for these formats I would look at creating the books in one or more of the eBook formats.
Google Chrome and FireFox both have their own version of a PDF reader plug-in and they are well known to be less capable than Adobe Reader. It is possible to configure these products to use Adobe Reader.

How to convert/download videos embedded with cold fusion?

Does anyone know of a free video conversion software that will convert and download online videos embedded with cold fusion ("cfmid=?") format/extension? I tried a few online sites and they do not support that format yet. Please help. Thank you so much!

Actually COLD FUSION was a hoax a few years ago. COLDFUSION is the app.
If you need content from a web site, talk to the developer.
fwiw - Since ColdFusion is an Adobe app, you should try asking your question on that forum. This one is here to primarily support Shake.

Code39Wide-Regular Fonts in the crystal report cannot be embedded with PDF

Hello ,
Good Day!
We are using Code39Wide-Regular Fonts in the crystal report for bar codes. While converting this report to the PDF format from Crystal viewer, we are getting the following error. It seems like this particular font cannot be embedded with PDF format.
Error - Failed to Export the report
Code39Wide-Regular- Font is not allowed to be embeded in document,
File - F:\Apps\9.40\Crystal\sfc\jobprtx.rpt
How can we solve this issue permanantly (Not a workaround )?

Hi Philip, Due to licensing issues CR cannot embed licensed fonts in a PDF file. Your only work around is to export the report to editable Word format and then open the file in Word 2007 and get the export to PDF plug-in available from Microsoft.
This will not be fixed in this or upcoming version of CR.

how can I debug project in jdeveloper 10g with jboss4.
do enyone have some documentation, or some advise to help me.

In JBoss run batch file specify
set JAVA_OPTS= -Xdebug-Xnoagent-Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,address=8787,server=y,suspend=n
Also refer to Remote debugging with WebLogic, which is similar to JBoss.

I don't think JDeveloper 12c is supported for BSSV development and EnterpriseOne 9.1, I have used JDeveloper 11g. 11.1.1.6.
As far as I know, you can't develop BSSV on E9.1 Demo version. You need complete install.

JDeveloper performance with XSL Mapper

Hi All,
Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question since it has to do JDeveloper performance with SOA and not ADF.
In the XSL Transformation mapper tool, whenever I do an auto-map between two large schemas, my JDeveloper memory usage hikes up to about 1.3 GB and then both the JRE and JDeveloper hangs although the transformation finishes. The problem is that sometimes it hangs before you can save it. It almost seems like a memory leak.
NOTE: I am not getting any out-of-memory error since I increased already increased the memory.
Any help to optimize and solve this problem will be very helpful.

you should have SOA composite application extension for this..
if you dont want a visual transformation then you can use the jdeveloper project properties -> Run/Debug -> edit run configuration -> XSLT

I am currently working on Jdeveloper version 9.0.4.x and oracle release is 11. Can I use JDeveloper 10g with OA Extension on oracle release 11. ..
I saw on oracle site .it's mentioned that JDeveloper 10g with OA Extension is only applicable for oracle Release 12 ..
Can you please help me on my query ?

Anand,
Jdev 10g with OA is only for R12 releases. You can't use them for 11i related works. The basic reason is that each jdev with OA ext patch is according to a particular framework patch and hence their framework libraries have to be in sync.
Check the metalink Note 416708.1 - How to find the correct version of JDeveloper to use with eBusiness Suite 11i or Release 12. This will give you the exact jdev patch to use according to your instance patching level.
