Jdeveloper.ini file is missing

I downloaded Jdeveloper 2.0 frpm the ftp.oracle.com. I didn't
have any installation problem. However, I got jdeveloper.ini
missing, cannot run. From the relase note, this file should be
created during the installation. Can anyone tell me what was
wrong?
Thanks
null

This definitely should have been created during installation. I
would try the following:
1. Run the uninstall program (Control Panel->Add/Remove
Programs)
2. Completely delete the JDeveloper 2.0 directory (or whatever
directory you specified to install into)
3. Re-run the installation procedure
If you installed 2.0 over an existing/earlier installation of
JDeveloper, this may have caused problems. Make sure you install
into a new directory. Or it may just have been a fluke in the
installation.

  • Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible - yet no profile.ini file is missing (folder empty), clean reinstall has not not worked

    I'm running windows 8 and had recently handed my computer back to be repaired. When I got my computer back I started getting the error that states that "Your Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible." upon opening.
    I've had this before and just renamed the profile.ini file as something different forcing Firefox to create a new profile. However the profile.ini file is not there, at all.
    Everything that I've searched for shows profile management through firefox, but I can't open firefox to create any profiles so they don't help at all.
    Does anyone know

    This is usually caused by a problem with the profiles.ini file and the profile marked as Default=1 is no longer present on the hard drive.
    *Windows: "%AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\"
    *Linux: ~/.mozilla/firefox/
    *Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox/
    *Delete the profiles.ini file to force Firefox to create a new default profile
    *Use the Profile Manager to create a new profile
    *Use "Choose Folder" to recover an existing profile if there is still one present
    *http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_Manager
    *https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Managing+profiles
    *http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox
    The "AppData" folder in Windows Vista and later Window 7+ versions and the "Application Data" folder in XP/Win2K are hidden folders.
    *http://kb.mozillazine.org/Show_hidden_files_and_folders
    Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
    See "Creating a profile":
    *https://support.mozilla.org/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles
    *http://kb.mozillazine.org/Standard_diagnostic_-_Firefox#Profile_issues
    If the new profile works then you can transfer some files from an existing profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over the problem.

  • Failed to create JDeveloper.ini

    After running (without problem) and exiting jdevw, I still do not have a jdeveloper.ini file. Is there something more that I have to do to provoke the creation of the jdeveloper.ini file.
    The OS is WinXP Pro; Db is Oracle 8.1.6; frustration level is high.
    Thanks,

    In Oracle9i JDeveloper, the way to add classes to the IDE classpath is to either:
    o Drop JAR files containing the classes into the {JDEVELOPER}/jdev/lib/ext directory, or:
    o Edit {JDEVELOPER}/jdev/bin/jdev.conf, adding a line as follows:
    AddJavaLibFile {PathToLibrary}Neither seems to work. Had it worked, I expected TableLayout to show up as an option in the Layout property editor. So either the jar is not being found or the modification to addins.properties under UI Editor Layout Assistants is not being recognized:
    jdeveloper.uiassistant.info.clearthought.layout.TableLayout=oracle.jdeveloper.uidesigner.BasicLayoutAssistant
    Any suggestions?

  • Tecra M7: Can't create Recovery CD: Missing CDDVD.ini - Error loading INI file: RDC_info.ini

    I just recently purchased a Tecra M7, but the system does not come with recovery media, just a Recovery partition and a Recovery Disk creator.
    However, when I try to run the Recovery Disc Creator, it replies with "Error loading INI file: C:\Program Files\Sonic\RecordNow!\RDC_info.ini".
    I opened this file to try to determine the error, but the contents simply refer to a file named CDDVD.ini. I have looked all over the Hard Drive, even mounted the Recovery Partition, but could not find this file.
    Searching on Google, I found that this file regularly goes missing, and that without it, the recovery media cannot be created. One person reported Tech Support emailing him the file, another was emailed by another user.
    In both cases, the user was immediately able to make the disks. In any case, it seems to be a standard file, referring to "Add_info.ini" (Application and Drivers Disks) and "Rec_info.ini" (OS Recovery Disk), fairly consistent and unchanging through all systems that use this method to build disks.
    Please, could someone email me theirs or post it here so we can all see?
    If/when I receive this file, once I determine it works I will post it here.
    Daniel

    I have talked to Tech Support, and the Tecra M7 w/ XP Tablet Edition does not have Recovery Disks available yet. I was told to check back in a couple of weeks.

  • Missing jdeveloper.hs file for local documentation.

    I am trying to add the local documentation for JDeveloper. I have downloaded and unzipped the jdev9i_902_doc.zip file. However, I don't see a jdeveloper.hs file in the distribution.
    Adding Local Documentation to a Base Installation
    To install the documentation set, download jdev9i_902_doc.zip from http://otn.oracle.com/products/jdev. You can install it into JDeveloper directly without any configuration by extracting the files into <jdeveloper_root>.
    If you install the documentation into any other location locally, you will need to configure it.
    1. In the Tools menu and choose Preferences.
    2. In the preferences tree navigate to Documentation.
    3. Select the Use Local Documentation radio button.
    4. Set the full path to the jdeveloper.hs file.
    I can perform steps 1-3 just find, but where is the jdeveloper.hs file? It did not come as part of the jdev9i_902.zip file. If I use my /usr/local/jdeveloper/jdev/doc as the path, then I get no documentation when I select Help. Any ideas about the jdeveloper.hs file?

    Craig,
    The Install Guide for 9.0.2 was slightly misleading, the jdeveloper.hs file can be found inside the jdeveloper.jar. If you set your path to be /usr/local/jdeveloper/jdev/doc/ohj, then the Help should now work.
    The steps have been updated in 9.0.3 to make it a little clearer.
    Hope that helps,
    Lisa

  • Need help on resolving the issue with adobe output server - error MSG256 & MSG 210 not in .ini file

    Hi,
    I am using adobe output designer 5.5 for designing the label template and using the Adobe output server for printing process.
    In the Jfmerge.ini we given the condition "DiscardUnknownFields=Yes" for ignoring the unwanted fields in the .dat file.
    During the process, I faced some issue with the output server in printing the labels.
    When the .dat file is placed in the Data folder of adobe, the label is not getting printed in the printer.
    The file is move to the error folder and an error file is getting generated which contains the error message as given below:
    090826 02:59:02 D:\Program Files\Adobe\Central\Bin\jfmerge: [256]** Message Msg256 not in .ini file **
    090826 02:59:02 D:\Program Files\Adobe\Central\Bin\jfmerge: [210]** Message Msg210 not in .ini file **
    2009/08/26 02:59:02 D:\Program Files\Adobe\Central\Bin\jfserver.exe: [314]Agent exit message: [210]** Message Msg210 not in .ini file **
    The output server is a new installtion and I verified the Jfmerge.ini file. It contains the message details of Msg256 and Msg210.
    I also verified the license and it is a valid licence.
    Kindly help me out in solving this issue.
    Thanks
    Senthil

    I assume this is too late to help you, but other might need a hint.  I had the same problem, and found some possible causes that I posted on http://codeznips.blogspot.com/2010/02/adobe-output-server-message-msg210-not.html.
    It is quite likely that you are missing some double quotes around the path specifying the ini file (-aii), if its installed under "Program Files".
    Hope this helps anyone....

  • Modification to Write Configuration .ini file

    I have found one of the annoying things about Labview's configuration file VI's is that when the configuration file is written, all spacing between sections is eliminated making it hard to read, even if the spacing was there to begin with when the file was read.  For example, I would like the file to look like
    [Header1]
    key1=value1
    key2=value2
    [Header2]
    key3=value3
    key4=value4
    But it comes out looking like:
    [Header1]
    key1=value1
    key2=value2
    [Header2]
    key3=value3
    key4=value4
    making it harder to read.
    I made a modification to the file Config Data to String.vi which is located \vi.lib\UTILITY\config.llb\
    Make a backup copy of \vi.lib\UTILITY\config.llb\Config Data to String.vi and replace the file in the config.llb with the attachment (saved as LV 8.0).
    What I did was any time a section header is to be written to the file, I preceded it with another CRLF character so that it creates a blank line just before the section header.  To keep from having an extra blank line at the beginning of the .ini file, it does not create the CRLF there.
    I hope others will find this modification useful.

    The idea itself is great, but I don't like the idea of changing vi.lib files (for several reasons).
    I didn't look at your code, but I assume that at least in this case, the resulting files will still be processed fine by machines which don't have this modification, so it's probably not as bad, but I still don't like it.
    You should probably go to the Product Suggestion Center and tell NI about this idea.
    I agree about not trying to change the vi.lib files.  It gets into modifying code that is rather deeply embedded about 3 or 4 sub-vi's down.  By my testing, machines without the modification do handle the files just fine.  The alternative would be to create a backup copy of the whole library and rename the files and use my own versions instead. I've recently installed the OpenG files and looked into them.  I like the functionality they provide to be able to store and retrieve clusters of configuration data.  Of course they have NI's write configuration files at the heart as well, so if they link to the original VI library then they will generate the same .ini files missing the extra lines that I like.
    tst wrote:

    Thanks, I already did this some time ago when I created a test VI to just read and close an .ini file.  I found that without setting the "write configuration file" flag in the close config file VI (which defaults to True), the whole file got rewritten even though nothing had changed.  That's how I stumbled across this loss of blank lines thing.
    I hope NI will look into that suggestion and add it to the config file VI library in the future.  It would probably need to be implemented with a flag that says "Add blank lines?" that would default to False so that the original behavior of the VI could be maintained.  Since the VI that controls the appearance of the file is a few layers deeper than Close config file VI, that flag would have to be passed through a couple of sub-VI's.
    Thanks for your feedback.

  • How to edit the setup.ini file of the Adobe Reader X MUI?

    Hi everyone.
    I discovered today that is is possible to edit the setup.ini file of the Adobe Reader X MUI  10.1  installer (multilingual)  in order to customize the installation. I stil have some questions about this.
    1. I would like to make a custom installation of Reader X in german, english, french and spanish. Is this possible? I want to leave out all other languages from my installation..,.
    2.  I would like to edit the ini file to make an automatic update of my Reader, by installing all the patches (10.10, 10.11, 10.12, 10.13, 10.14, 10.15 and 10.16). Is this possible?
    I patched my Reader manually, but when I install only the 10.15 and 10.16 updates, some functions are still missing (signature toolbar and add text function) so I suspect the patches are not-cumulative.
    Can anyone on the forums show me the right codes for doing this? How can I get a 4-language upgraded Reader X?
    Sincerely yours.
    K. Adam.

    See the docs: http://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/index.html.
    The admin guide tells you what updates are cumulative (all 10.x quarterlies) and how to set the lang via the cmd line. However, check out the Wizard Guide and download the free Wizard to customize your install and .ini as needed. Much easier.

  • Xpinstall.enabled file is missing, where do I find?

    I am issues with add-ons.
    Cannot install: error message as follows:
    Item could not be installed because Firefox could not modify the needed file.
    Now, I am having issues with removal of add-ons, I click remove and click Restart Firefox but the add-ons are not removed.
    The add-ons that I am trying to install are as follows:
    Gmail Checker, Gmail Manager, Gmail S/MIME, Open Gmail with toolbar button, Better Gmail 2, Creatimail Email Themes, Google Shortcuts, Preloader (for Firefox).
    The add-ons I am trying to remove are:
    Date Picker Calendar, Ecleaner, Bulk you Tube Video, Form Control Context Menu, Auto-Sort Bookmarks, Ramback, Open With, Slim Add-ons Manager, Restart Firefox.
    Also xpinstall.enabled file is missing.

    Quote: ''Cannot install: error message as follows: Item could not be installed because Firefox could not modify the needed file.''
    You get this error if an extensions needs to be unpacked in order to work properly.<br />
    Normally extensions are installed with the XPI files renamed to the GUID of the extension, but some extensions also tore data in its extension folder and such extensions only work when unpacked.
    The <b>xpinstall.enabled</b> pref is only present on the <b>about:config</b> page when you add it yoursels.<br />
    When absent then it defaults to true.
    *http://kb.mozillazine.org/Uninstalling_add-ons
    *http://kb.mozillazine.org/Uninstalling_toolbars
    It is possible that there is a problem with the file(s) that store the extensions registry.
    Delete the extensions.* files (e.g. extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry.
    *https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Profiles
    New files will be created when required.
    See "Corrupt extension files":
    *http://kb.mozillazine.org/Unable_to_install_themes_or_extensions
    *https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Unable+to+install+add-ons
    If you see disabled, not compatible, extensions in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the Tools button at the left end side of the Search Bar ("Find Updates" button in older Firefox versions) to check if there is a compatibility update available.
    If this hasn't helped then also delete the addons.sqlite file.

  • TUP.ini File Error

    I have Call Manager and Contact Center and installed both of them. Then i added license but i want to install CAD Client Configuration. I downloaded .exe file in CCX (Tools-->Plug-ins-->Download CAD Client Configuration) but when i open this .exe file, the program gives a error. Error is: "TUP.ini file on the server is missing a critical value for the Call Center Language."
    How can i fix this problem?

    Hi Ozcan,
    I'm not aware of this issue affecting UCCX 8.0 but I can tell you that your current configuration is unsupported.  CCX 8.0 is not compatible with CUCM 6.0.  I would not be surprised at all if this is the root of your issue.  Even if it is not at the root of the issue, this setup will cause you many problems since CCX 8.0 was never designed to work with CUCM 6.0.
    The compatibility guide is here:  http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/contact_center/crs/express_compatibility/matrix/crscomtx.pdf
    As far as that particular error is concerned though it sounds like the CAD configuration tool needs to be run again but first the system needs to be set back to a fresh install state (which allows you to go through the setup again and choose the language options).  This can only be done by TAC so I suggest you open a case for that.
    TAC will likely not be able to assist with your current configuration though so I advise to upgrade the CUCM to a supported version first.
    Thanks
    Mike

  • Cant silent install DPM using ini file.

    Hello I am attempting to install DPM on a standalone server. I have a local sql server 2012 SP1 installed with all the prerequisites installed for both DPM and SQL.  Significantly,
    using the setup.exe I can install the DPM from the GUI no problem.
    I am however having issues installing DPM via the command line using a silent install.
    ini file as follows:
    [OPTIONS]
    UserName="<DOMAIN>\Administrator"
    CompanyName="My Company"
    ProductKey=xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx
    command line:
    start /wait setup.exe /i /f <path>\Dpmsetup.ini /l <path>\dpmlog.txt
    With the silent install procedure however I hit an issue. I am convinced this is due to my INI file as I assume a requisite line must be missing as the install fails stating
    that prerequisites are not met although. -However all the pre-reqs are met as reinforced by the sucesfull GUI install.
    I have used the same Administrator account to run the install via the GUI (successfully) and Command line (unsuccessfully).
    Said Administrator account has local admin rights and sql sysadmin rights.
    One line I suspect I may need to add is #SqlAccountPassword. -I have attempted setting this with the password of the Administrator account. My understanding is
    the 'yukon' lines are not applicable as the sql server is local.
    Using the ini file does the install assume the sql install is remote? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
    One error I found in error log using the command line 'DPM requires TCP/IP protocol' to be
    enabled on the selected SQL server instance'. I've checked this however and again this is not applicable.

    Hi,
    The Yukon parameters are applicable even for a local SQL install.  Below are the minimum parameters.  See if that works for you.
    [OPTIONS]
    UserName = DOMAINNAME\USERNAME
    CompanyName = MYCO
    ProductKey = <The 25-character DPM product key in the format xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx>
    SqlAccountPassword = PASSWORD
    IntegratedInstallSource = DRIVELETTER:

  • Using .ini Files Tutorial

    Hi All,
    I recently took the LV intermediate courses and I've been trying to incorporate some of the items we discussed into my program.  One of the topics we very briefy skimmed was .ini files.  In fact we didn't really go over them, but the instructor said that's the preferred method for initilizing variables etc.  I've got about 65 variables that need to be initilized to either 0, T/F, "  "(empty string), etc.  They are initilized either whenever we put a new unit on for test, restart a unit, or after a full test cycle (Little under 2 days for full test.)  We didn't really go over how to create the .ini or link it to labview.  I did explore some of the File I/O functions, but none talk about .ini useage that I could find.  May have missed them, but couldn't find the examples in LV either.
    Anyone seen a good tutorial or have a simple program that shows how to use a .ini for the various data types LV uses?
    (Or if anyone recommends not using this method why?  I suppose the instructors could be bias or just wrong?)
    LV7.1, LV8.5

    Its a good example and not too hard to follow.
    What I noticed though is how large that program is and the subvi's called inside it.  What seems a bit crazy, its only init. 5 variables and the space that program takes up on the block diagram is already larger than manually init. now (and thats with the 65 or so variables!)
    It seems as though it would be significantly easier just to send an initilized value into each control individually.
    Am I missing something?  From that example it seems like a bad idea to go down that route...
    LV7.1, LV8.5
