JDO on the DC development

Dear All,
I followed instructions of a persistence tutorial that I found from the help.sap.com ("Getting Started with Relational Persistence) and wrote down two projects. The tutorial uses individual projects as units for projects implementation, but I choose to develop projects as DC components.
The whole implementation seems fine until I tried to do the DC build operation. Following is the error messages I got during the DC build:
[javac] Compiling 4 source files to C:\Documents and Settings\Allen\dtr\1\t\070795FD169D26DCB9019563094877AC\classes

Can anyone help, please? How can I make JDO package working on a DC component? Seems like the JDO library cannot be found.

Hi Allen,
As Pascal has mentioned you should add com.sap.jdo from SAP_JTECHS as Used DC.
External Library DC is created when there is a library (jar) that you want to use and it is not part of the three base SCA's or some other SCA which you have added as dependency in SLD and checked-in to the track.
You have to wrap the external library dc in J2EE Server Library when the library is delievered by a third party and is not deployed on the server.
SAP provides a JDO implementation which you can use directly. In case you want to use JDO implementation from some other vendor then you will have to create an External library DC and wrap it in a J2EE Library DC.
Hope this helps.

  • I had bought the ios developer program but i don't have mac , just only laptop intel i-5 window7 only so how can i upgrade my iphone4 to ios5 beta

i had just get the ios dev member confirmation code but i only got the Asus laptop intel core i-5 450M window7 and don't know how to do with my iphone 4 to try the ios5 beta, please help me out

Developing for iOS requires a Mac; that's clearly stated in the program information. Whether there's any way to get the beta onto an iPhone from a Windows system is something we cannot discuss in these public forums. Ask in the developer forums you now have access to as a member of the iOS developer program:

  • How do I use the Oracle Developer Reporting Control in Visual Basic 6.0?

I was wondering how to use the Oracle Developer Reporting Control componant in Visual Basic 6.0 to generate reports in Oracle Reports? Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Rohit,
Would like to ask you some questions about the oracle report with Visual Basic.
    1. I have a report built in oracle report. Currently there is a Visual Basic program want to pass some parameter to this report. Can Visual Basic program pass the parameter to this oracel report?
    2. Based on yr answer, do i have to installed the oracle report? or just copy and register the Rwsxa60.ocx (i'm using oracle report 6i) in the PC? So can i use this activeX control.
    3. Is this activeX control similar to Crystal report object which can found in VB?
    4. Is there an example/guide on how the Visual Basic pass the parameter to oracel form?
Your answer will be much appreciated.
    Thanks.

  • Attn: Installing the Sample Applications from the ifs Development Kit

There are a number of problems with the sample Applications included in the
Developer's kit. These need to manually fixed in order to get the demos to work.
    #1: Solaris Only
The install of the iFS Development Kit, replaces the existing adk.jar with a new
one containing some additional classes. Unfortunately the install process does not
set the correct privileges on the new version of adk.jar. Please ensure that the
    file $ORACLE_HOME/ifs/lib/adk.jar is world readable.
    Bug # 1304730
This issue will be resolved on the next drop of the Oracle Internet File System
    development kit.
    #2: Generic
There is a problem with the way in which the login.jsp establishes a connection to
the repository. The current code makes incorrect assumptions about the name of the
iFS Service and the schema password.
    The following changes are required.
In order to connect to the repository 4 pieces of information are required.
    1. The iFS User Name
    2. The iFS User's password
    3. The properties file to be used
    4. The database password of the user who owns the iFS Schema
The Login.jsp needs to be altered so that it requests these four arguments before
attempting to establish a connection to the repository.
(The current version only requests username and password).
All four arguments need to be provided as arguments to the login method on the
underlying JavaBean that the JSP invokes when it want to open a connection
    to the repository.

#3. Making the BaseRendererClass available to the Protocol Servers
Note this step is not required if you have the 1.0.8.3 patch set installed.
Install the BaseRenderer Class. The BaseRenderer class is delivered in the jar file
ifsdevkit.jar and can be used to simplify the task of creating a custom renderer.
Unfortunately the jar file containing this class is not referenced in any of the Classpaths
used by the iFS protocol servers. This means that they will not be able to load any
customer renderers that extend BaseRenderer. In order to make BaseRenderer available
to the Protocol Servers it need to be placed in the appropriate directory under
    <ORACLE_HOME>/ifs/custom_classes.
Extract the class from the ifsdevkit.jar.
ifsdevkit.jar is located in <ORACLE_HOME>/ifs/lib after the devkit has been installed.
    jar -xvf ifsdevkit.jar
    extracted: META-INF/MANIFEST.MF
    extracted: BaseRenderer.class
Create the following directory heirachy in <ORACLE_HOME>/ifs/custom classes
    oracle/ifs/server/renderers
    Copy <ORACLE_HOME>/ifs/lib/BaseRenderer.class to
    <ORACLE_HOME/ifs/custom_classes/oracle/ifs/server/renderers
    That should do it.

  • Questions about the Apple Developer Enterprise Program

    Hi there,
i got some questions about the Apple Developer Enterprise Program:
    - is there a way a company can create their own "AppStore" with only the APPs the employees should use?
    - when I developed the enterprise app are the install files on a apple hosted server or do i need my own infrastructure to distribute my app?
    Thanks in advance for answers!

    Google: MDM

  • I have enrolled for the apple developer program but apparently have the same account name in iBooks. I need to change the iBooks account but don't know how. Do I change my apple id? Will this cause me problems with iTunes etc etc?

I have enrolled for the apple developer program but apparently already have an account with iBooks, cant have this it seems.how do I change my iBooks account, is this the apple id for my iPad and if I change this will it cause problems accessing iTunes etc?

I guess nobody knows if the crash that occured was legitimate or not?  Apple phone support could do nothing for me, so I guess I am left to drive 45 minutes to the nearest store.

  • How can I sign up with Enterprise program, while I have an active membership of the iOS developer program?

How can I sign up with Enterprise program, while I have an active membership of the iOS developer program?
I have bought a memership for the iOS Developer program.
I have created an in-house app.
Now I want to publish it to all employees without registering the devices.
    So..
I go to their website and try to sign up for the enterprise program, image shown below:
    http://s29.postimg.org/q06ylh5o6/Clipboard01.jpg
Within the image above, I click continue...
    http://s14.postimg.org/46lqcpy74/Clipboard02.jpg
Then I am taken to the image above, there I need to select a program, but I already have a program, the iOS developer program!  And the checkbutton of that program, is disabled. If I try to click continue at this page, without sleecting a program, a javascript-box shows "You have to select a program before continuging"...
Do I need to unsubscribe my iOS developer program, to then register it again? Lol!
PS: no clue where I should post this, looked over the forums and could not see anything related to singing up, registering for a program...

Our apps came offline automatically shortly after this as iTunesConnect thought we had not renewed our license, even though we had several weeks ago.
We had a brief panic as our apps were offline for 12 hours, which is how long it took Apple Support to work out what was wrong and hook things up.
I suggest you contact them ASAP to get this fixed so you don't get that iTunesConnect alert to your phone 'Your app status has been changed to Pending Contract'.

  • The custom development is not visible .

    Hi Gurus,
I am trying to do the custom developments in SAP CRM 7 .
Eg : Creating a new component with a table view .
When I am trying to execute the custom development , Internet  explorer  opens but I cant see any thing .
    Not even frame .
NOTE : Its not throwing any error .
Eg 2 : Adding a new view in the overview page of an existing component .
I cant see the assignment block in the view set configuration .
Is there any configuration need to be done for making the custom developments available ?
NOTE : This is a new system .
    Thanks in advance .

Hi, I upgraded my iphone 4 (4.3.3) to iso 5 beta 6, but now it shows "No Service" at top left, and unable to complete your activation. Also tells that "this device is not registered as part of the iphone developer programme." How could I fix this problem? Please help me...,

I had a similar occurrence with my just activated iPhone 4.
I had been using the phone for three days when an odd occurrence with voice mail caused me to call tech support. After some discussion they decided to push the activation to my phone (even though I had been using it for three days). When I went to power it back up again I repeatedly got the "no service" notification. I got tech support on a land line and we tried hard reboots and so on. No joy. They told me to take it in to the point of sale and either the SIM card or the phone needed (or both) needed replacing.
I tried one last hard reboot after dinner and the phone came up with service, but I took it in to the point of sale in the morning and they swapped the SIM card out and I went to a Genius Bar appointment to get the phone checked out. It is supposedly OK, but I am still having some problems when syncing it so I will have to visit the Genius Bar again tomorrow about that. At least I have not experienced the "no service" problem in the roughly 24 hours since the SIM card was replaced. (Fingers crossed)

Well, you downloaded a bootleg copy of iOS 7 beta and have installed it on your phone without being a developer. It has bricked your phone and you cannot get help here because doing what you did has voided your warranty. Have a nice day.

  • Will the reports developed in sql server 2008 r2 BIDS work when deployed on sql server 2012 reporting manager

Will the reports developed in sql server 2008 r2 BIDS work when deployed on sql server 2012 reporting manager?
when I check on Microsoft site it says
Reports are not upgraded when you upload a report definition file directly to the report server
or SharePoint site. Upgrading a report definition in SQL Server Data Tools is the only way to upgrade the .rdl file.
When you open an .rdl file in Report Designer in SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT), if the report was
created for a previous namespace, Report Designer automatically creates a backup file and upgrades the report to the current namespace.
This is the only way you can upgrade a report definition file.
Now here is another confusing statement which says
You can upload an .rdl file created in an earlier version of Reporting Services to a SQL Server
2012 report server and it is automatically upgraded on first use. The report server stores the report definition file in the original format. The report is automatically upgraded the first time it is viewed, but the stored report definition file remains
    unchanged.
All I want to know is if I deploy a rdl made in 2008 r2 to 2012 will it work on the report manager of
    2012?

I have tested this fucntionality and can confirm that ssrs 2008 r2 reports work when you deploy them on new ssrs 2012 report manager .
    No Migration is required .
I didnt even moved report server dbs .All I did is just deployed reports on the report manager and it worked .
    "You
can upload an .rdl file created in an earlier version of Reporting Services to a SQL Server 2012 report server and it is automatically upgraded on first use. "
Microsoft needs to correct this the documentation is misleading

  • How to stop an error message that pops up every time I open Safari. It reads...Safari 5.1 (v6534.50) has not been tested with the plugin PithHelmet .As a precaution, it has not been loaded. Please contact the plugin developer.

How do I stop this error message from popping up every time I start up Safari ?
    Error message reads...
Safari 5.1 (v6534.50) has not been tested with the plugin Pithhelmet 3.0b6 (v 3006)
As a precaution, it has not been loaded. Please contact the plugin developer.
I have removed every trace of Pithhelmet, (via spotlight)
Trashed the preferences for Safari, restarted computer to no avail.
    It just  keeps keepin on.
    Thanks

In the past I was able to bypass the message by editing the Info.plist file and updating the MaxBundleVersion variable, but not so this time around. As of today the developer seems to indicate there's no immediate fix becuase of how Safari 5.1 handles multiprocess page rendering. Probably best to stay tuned to Mike's website for now.
