JMF in Client-Server-Client Environment

I am working on VoiceChat Application which is developed in Java2 and using JMF 2.1.1 for Audio Streaming. Basically a SignedApplet is sent to Client after he gets authencated(username and password)Along with applet i am send all the jar that are required for the application to run(archive=App.jar, JMF.jar). These jar are signed with a Self-Certified key using keytool which comes with java-sdk. Here when i am trying to capture or play audio on the client machine its giving NoProcessor Exception. Is it necessary to install JMF in client system also.
I require some solution for run the (JMF)processor or player on the client side without installing JMF on the client machine. Is it possible to run processor and player on the client side only by sending the required (JMF.jar) class files as archive for the applet.
Please help me.

  • JMF RTSP Client features: Recording & Playing?

    Hello all,
we hace decided to use RTSP to use in our video surveillance application. We will have a central server with a RTSP server (DSS or other, we haven't decided yet) and users will connect to it with the JMF Client.
Our doubt is to know what is implemented in JMF RTSP Client, it can receive video from the server (PLAY) and send it to the server (RECORD) or one of the features is not implemented? In this case, has someone implemented it? Is easy to realise?
About the server we suppose that is better to use the of a commercial one (DSS) and program the interaction with the rest of the central server that design a RTSP Server in JMF. What do you think?
    Thanks in Advance :)

if you download the source code for jmf, there is RTSP code there.
It will give you guidence on how it works.
    http://wwws.sun.com/software/communitysource/jmf/download.html
Using DSS will work, but there are brick walls, you will hit. There are posts about dss4 and dss5.
I do not know if anyone has succeeded in what you want, but I know that a lot of work will get the job done.
    good luck ;)

  • Force installing jmf on client machine

    dear friends,
i need to install jmf on client machine through my web application.
it will automatically detect if the client machine has jmf installed.
if jmf is not installed, it will be installed by the web application itself.
    can anybody suggest a solution??

    Hi Harry,
We are also in a similar fix to install JMF silently with a Streaming product. In a nutshell, we would like JMF to be installed when he invokes our setup.exe with out going through all the screens which conventional JMF installation does. Any suggestions??
Thanks in advance for your time and help.

  • When sending e-mail messages to a mail-enabled public folder that have been replicated from old Exchange Server 2000/2003/2007, Exchange Server 2010 environment mails are rejected with NDR.

Hi, I would like to share with you issue that I’ve solved regarding mail-enabled PF that migrated from Exchange 2000/2003/2007 to 2010, I’ve searched & contacted my MVP leader – there’s no official KB regarding this issue right
now, so I’m posting here in order to share this among others.
Note: There’s article(s) that talked about PF replication from Exch2000/2003/2007 to 2010 – this is the same issue as well.
    Symptoms
E-mail messages that been sent to mail-enabled public folder in Exchange Server 2010 environment rejected with the following NDR:
“#< #5.2.0 smtp;554 5.2.0 STOREDRV.Deliver.Exception:ObjectNotFoundException; Failed to process message due to a permanent exception with message The Active Directory user wasn’t found. ObjectNotFoundException: The Active Directory
    user wasn’t found.> #SMTP#”
Sometimes Exchange Server 2010 is documented as well Event ID 1020 on the Event Viewer with this information:
    “Log Name: Application
    Source: MSExchange Store Driver
    Event ID: 1020
    Level: Error
    Description:
The store driver couldn’t deliver the public folder replication message "Hierarchy ([email protected])" because the following error occurred: The Active Directory user wasn't found.”
    Cause
In an environment where Microsoft Exchange Server 2000 or Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 previously existed, and all those servers have been removed, there is a chance that an Administrative Group (First Administrative Group or another custom Administrative
Group) remains with a Servers container, but no servers inside it.
During replication, when the Exchange 2010 Store Driver sees the empty Servers container in Active Directory, it's expecting a System Attendant object inside the container and when it is not found the error occurs.
    Resolution
To work around the issue, delete the empty Servers container. This can't be done through Exchange System Manager. Use the ADSI Edit tool to remove it using the following steps:
Warning If you use the ADSI Edit snap-in, the LDP utility, or any other LDAP version 3 client, and you incorrectly modify the attributes of Active Directory objects, you can cause serious problems. These problems may require you to reinstall Microsoft Windows
2003 Server, Microsoft Windows Server 2008, Microsoft Exchange 2010 Server or both Windows and Exchange. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems that occur if you incorrectly modify Active Directory object attributes can be solved. Modify these attributes
    at your own risk.
    1.
Start the ADSI Edit MMC Snap-in. Click Start, then
Run, and type adsiedit.msc, and then click OK.
    2.
Connect & Expand the Configuration Container [YourServer.DNSDomainName.com], and then expand
    CN=Configuration,DC=DNSDomainName,DC=com.
    3.
Expand CN=Services, and then CN=Microsoft Exchange, and then expand
    CN=YourOrganizationName.
    4.
You will see an empty Administrative Group. Expand the
    CN=YourAdministrativeGroupName.
    5.
    Expand CN=Servers.
    6.
Verify there are no server objects listed under the
    CN=Servers container.
    7.
Right click on the empty CN=Servers container and choose
    Delete.
    8.
Verify the modification, and try to send again the E-mail to the mail-enabled public folder.

Sounds like you are looking in the wrong Administrative Group container which is why you are seeing your Exchange 2010 servers in there.
When you install Exchange 2003 only you will see a container named by default as "CN=First Administrative Group" container. But this could be named anything if you changed the Organization Name on the installation when you installed the first
Exchange 2003 server into the domain/forest.
You will notice that when you install Exchange 2010 part of the AD setup is to create a new configuration container and is named by default "CN=First Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT)".
So it sounds like you are not looking in the right location within ADSIEdit.
You may find the following article also helpful for this issue which is the same resolution:
    http://blogs.technet.com/b/sbs/archive/2012/05/17/empty-cn-servers-container-causing-issues-with-public-folders-on-small-business-server-2011.aspx
I recommend though that you ensure your Exchange 2003 servers are fully uninstalled or no longer present in your environment before you go deleting the Servers container though.. The following Microsoft article will help with this:

  • Need to convert DTS packages to SQL Server 2012 environment.

    Hi Friends,
As Part of the Project Requirement,we need to convert DTS packages to SQL Server 2012 environment.
    Please sugest me best approach.
    Thanks

Best approach is to re-design the packages in SSIS 2012 directy if it is feasible. Because most of the DTS feaures are discontinued and also you will have to clean up all errors that you are going to get after migration.
Discontinued Integration Services Functionality in SQL Server 2012
Otherwise you need to migrate it first to 2008R2 and then 2012 version.

  • Need solution to make changes in existing project sites in Project Server 2010 environment

    Dear Folks,
Hope you all are doing good and ready to give a way for this requirement. :)
In project server 2010 environment, I am using InfoPath documents library, Issues, Risks etc in each and every project sites.
Say, after creation of 100 projects/project sites, I have got a requirement to make some changes in the InfoPath document library and in Issues, Risks list, so I have decided to use the following solution which is actually weird:
Make the changes in InfoPath document library, Issues/Risks list for 1 of the project site and save that site as template and associate it with running EPT.
Then, delete the existing project sites (after taking backup) and start recreating it from PWA/Server Settings/ Operational Policies/ Project Sites, so that it will take the latest template. But, seems like it is time taking and handy and actually it's not
working for some of the projects.
Request all of you to provide some solution for this.
Ask more, if my explanation is not clear.
    Regards,
    Shravan

    Hello,
Regarding mass deleting and recreating Project Sites via the PSI, firstly delete the project sites then run the following PowerShell script to bulk create project sites:
    https://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/Bulk-create-Server-Sites-784f7b29
I have got a script that bulk deletes projects but this is not published as this could be a dangerous script to run if you did know what to update etc. To give you an idea of how to delete project sites via the PSI see a code snippet below:
    $EPMTYGUID = [system.guid]::empty
    $projectOwnerID = 'd6a0a720-12ac-e211-93f9-00155d153dd4'
    $ProjectList = $svcPSProxy.ReadProjectStatus("$EPMTYGUID","PublishedStore","", "0").Project | format-table proj_uid -hidetableheaders | out-string -stream
    foreach ($projectUid in $projectList)
    if ($projectUid -ne "")
    $projectsforDeletions = $svcPSProxy.ReadProject($projectUid, "PublishedStore").Project | where {$_.projectOwnerID -eq $projectOwnerID} | format-table proj_uid -hidetableheaders | out-string -stream
    foreach ($projUid in $projectsforDeletions)
    if ($projUid -ne "")
    $svcWSSProxy.DeleteWSSSite($projUid)
Write-host 'Project UID for deleted site' $projUID
That particular example deletes the project sites for a particular project owner, you could easily modify that to remove the project owner filter if needed.
Regarding your query about having to delete the project sites to get the changes to take affect, there is no easy option to get the issues and risks list changes to filter though, this would either be manual on each existing site or using code to iterate
through each existing site and apply the changes programmatically. Depending on if you used site collection content types to set up the Issues and Risks lists, it might be simple to add a new column etc. as you could do this centrally and it will cascade
down. If you didn't use content types and or its view changes etc. this is a per site change that can be manual or programmatically done. The same applies to the document library, if this was set up using a site collection content type, the changes can
be modified on the content type and cascaded down. If the library was set up with just a library that used local columns / templates then it will be a per site change - the same as the issues and risks.
The company I work for (CPS) does have a site sync tool that will programmatically update existing sites based on a specified site so I know it is all possible to do in code!

  • Using a Mac laptop within a Novel client environment

I have been working for a company that uses Macs exclusively and starting with one that is PC based. Moreover, they use Novel for their client server access. I hate that I might have to give up the use of a Mac laptop at work (I have an iMac at home and am a big fan of iCal, mail etc.).
I am considering purchasing a Mac laptop for use at work on my own. Has anyone had success using a Mac in this environment? What are the pitfalls I should be aware of? Will it work with limited to no support from the PC based tech people?

  • Saving Word files in Managed Client environment

I wonder if anyone else has seen this, and can shed some light before I go and do some investigating this weekend:
Mac Pro Server and iMac Intel clients: 10.5.5
    Users being managed by WGM
Microsoft Office 2004 upgraded to 11.5.3
Word file saving for first time = no problem, but re-saving gives an error message saying that the file can't be saved because it is open elsewhere. (It isn't.) The workaround is to rename the file and save. You still get a message claiming the file can't be saved, but upon checking in the Finder shows that it was in fact saved and the message was bogus.
I believe, though have not checked recently, that the same issue may apply to Excel and Powerpoint files.

This problem just never seems to get fixed.
Apple or Microsoft, who's to blame.
When the user goes to save the file they are presented with the warning dialog, click 'Okay' and it may present the user with another one to which the user should click 'Okay'.
Then the user will be presented with the file saving navigation dialog.
In the sidebar click on the 'Computer' icon at the top.
It will display the drives and shares attached to the machine on the right.
Double-click the network share that has the user home folder in it on the right.
Navigate to the users 'Documents' folder.
The user will now be able to save their file.

  • Is it possible to configure ERMS in Multi Client environment

    Hi All,
I am currently working on a requirement where in we have a single CRM Instance connected to multiple back end ECC Systems. We have a client set up in CRM fore each ECC System. Each ECC System address the requirements specific to a region. Coming to the issue, can we have ERMS set up to handle e-mails sent by contact persons/business partners from different ECC Systems and route this to appropriate agent in CRM. Say a customer from region2 has sent a complaint via e-mail, in this case it should go to  Agent created in Client2. Any pointers on how this can be modelled... do we have any limitations on ERMS being extended to multiple clients.
    Thanks,
    Udaya

    Hi Udaya,
    Sounds Interesting requirement !
From the very fact that the BP Master data is client specific, which means that all the client specific customer will be stored in those respective clients, so the emails which come into the CRM system should be destined directly to the ERMS email ids created for multiple clients.
That is, you need to configure ERMS receiving email ids in your CRM system for all the clients.
Then, you need to map all these email ids in the transaction SO28 against the ERMS BOR.
In this way, the email from the customer can be sent to that specific client.
    But, there is a problem:
Let say, the customer from client2 had sent an email to the ERMS email id in the CRM system client 100, then as per the mapping in the transaction SO28 the ERMS workflow can be triggered. This will perfectly work !
But if the customer is restricted to send his/her emails only to a common unique customer care id, then there will be problem of differentiating the clients.
Other possible way could be to configure ERMS email ids for all the clients and map the same in SO28.
But again, the problem is, if the customer from all the clients can send emails to only one ERMS email id, then this unique email id should be mapped with different ERMS client email ids in the SMTP Plug-In level itself (I am not sure if this can be possible to map different emails ids in the SMTP level) and
there should be some logic/rule to distingush the CRM client(based upon the customer email id) and then based upon the mapping in the SMTP level, the SAPConnect can then trigger the respective ERMS workflow for the ERMS email id, as maintained in transaction SO28.
The above discussed information are subjected to probability and am not sure whether all the stated information can be possible, but just thought of a way for your requirement from ERMS perspective.
So now the point that we need to know is, whether an email id can be mapped with multiple client specific ERMS email ids in the SMTP plugin level ? If yes, then is there a logic/rule can be impossed for this mapping, based upon the incoming customer email id or something like that ?
Sorry Udaya, I could think only to this much from the ERMS side and couldn't reach out till the STMP level.
Hope these information will help you in your further researches for your requirement.
    Thanks & Best Regards,
    Vinod

  • How to test the layouts in multiple client environment

    asap.

Thanks for your reply Mike.  Unfortunately, that OSS note seemed to be directed at an ABAP + Java Add-in install.  We have a Java only install.  We ended up installing the SCS on a shared cluster drive, which seems to be working and failing over correctly.  However, I am still not completely comfortable that this is the best way to install the SCS in a failover environment.
