JMS Adapter getting xml without namespace

Hello,
We're using BPEL 10.1.3.4 and we need to integrate a legacy system with a new one. The legacy system writes in a JMS queue a simple xml message without namespaces (following although a specific schema). When in BPEL I try to get this xml I cannot access its elements and I'm getting errors like the following:
variable/ expression is empty
Which seems normal as bpel tries to access the element using namespaces.
I found this thread which seems to be the same issue Re: writing XML without namespace? but I cannot actually understand the approach.
Any help will be really usefull!
Thank you!

Hi,
Did the solution mentioned in the other thread worked for you? I am having the exact problem.
Thanks.

  • XML without namespace and prefix, modified package-info.java, JAX-WS option

    Hello
    I have created a consumer business service which will be called from JDEdwards EOne, pulls data from database and send it to Fusion Middleware.
    SO, I have created proxy using JAX-WS option. And suggested in oracle doc, I created proxy outside OMW and then copied it to my project. XML payload is getting generated without namespace and prefix. After some research, I modified package-info.java. Now, I am able to send the payload and if test it locally from Jdeveloper and take xml output using marshaller I can see it has namespace and prefix as well. BUt, when I run this from server it does not have namespace and prefix.
    Please help.
    Thanks
    TK

    Just to clerify,
    The common complex types are StatusInfo, IdcProperty and IdcPropertyList. I ahve 3 more WSDL's with the exact same entires for those 3.

  • Writing XML without namespace?

    Hi,
    I have a "strange" xml schema in a system I need to export data to. It lacks any forms of namespace (possibly a converted DTD) and it seemd the FTP adapter (from BPEL) cant handle XML-types without namespaces.
    Is there a way to do this without using an opaque adapter and writing the data as "text"?
    The schema the file uses can be found here: http://services.agresso.com/schema/ABWSupplierCustomer/2004/07/02/ABWSupplierCustomer542.xsd
    // Michael Medin

    This works for both BPEL & ESB:
    1. Build an XSD for the source system adapter/process with no XSD.
    2. Build another XSD which acts like wrapper of original XSD.
    3. In the Wrapper XSD include the actual xsd.This one is sample xsd which has the piece of code
          <?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1252" ?>
           <xsd:schema xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns="http://www.example.org" targetNamespace="http://xmlns.oracle.com/BPELProcess2"
          xmlns:nxsd="http://xmlns.oracle.com/pcbpel/nxsd" nxsd:version="DTD"
          elementFormDefault="qualified">
          <include schemaLocation="actual.xsd"/>
          </xsd:schema>The Target Namespace can be of any URL and this could be of anything.While polling the file or any JMS queue the adapter should include the wrapper xsd instead of actual xsd.This would read the file or any queue even if there is no namespace and the values can be transformed or assigned inside the process.
    Peace,
    G.

    ThanksThis works in my testing so far. Feedback on any malfunctions appreciated.
    This
    does not attempt to "namespace-unqualify" attribute names, only element
    names,
    but that's easily added.
    import com.bea.xml.XmlCursor;
    import com.bea.xml.XmlObject;
    import javax.xml.namespace.QName;
    private void localizeXmlFragment(XmlObject x)
    String s;
    XmlCursor c = x.newCursor();
    c.toNextToken();
    while (c.hasNextToken())
    if (c.isNamespace())
    c.removeXml();
    else
    if (c.isStart())
    s = c.getName().getLocalPart();
    c.setName(new QName(s));
    c.toNextToken();
    c.dispose();
    Don't know why the line breaks disappeared with the previous reply. Let's try
    it one more time.

  • Error with JMS adapter

    We are using a JMS adapter with XML input files and we are getting the following error:
    :#1.#00144F80C55600310000001A00001BC700DD9B18A4E85181#1288983973313#com.sap.engine.messaging.impl.core.queue.consumer.SendConsumer##com.sap.engine.messaging.impl.core.queue.consumer.SendConsumer.handleRetriesOnException(MessagingException, QueueMessage, MessageController)#J2EE_GUEST#223963##<applicationserver_hostname>_<SID>_623765##8bfba530dea111dfbf9b00144f80c556#MS Queue Worker [JMS_http://sap.com/xi/XI/SystemSend]##0#0#Error##Java###Transmitting the message to endpoint using connection failed, due to: .#3#JMS_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System#com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: Error transmitting the message over HTTP. Reason: java.io.IOException: Error writing to server#http://<hostname>:50000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry#
    One that is interesting is that these errors are occurring on application servers only.  Could it be that the Integration Server URL is not fully qualified.  In the SLD it's just <hostname>, not <hostname>.test.com (as an example).
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Dear George,
    Concerning the issue, in the Integration Engine please try increasing the value of the parameter :
       - icm/HTTP/max_request_size_KB
    from the default size of 100MB to e.g., 2GB.
    Kindly go through the following link :
    - http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi71/helpdata/en/58/108b02102344069e4a31758bc2c810/frameset.htm
    for details.
    Additionally, it is recommended to setup a large message queue,
    i.e.,
    add an entry and appropriate value (e.g., 20480 KB) for the TUNING parameter : 'EO_MSG_SIZE_LIMIT'
    using
    TCODE
       sxmb_adm
        Integration Engine Configuration
          Select Edit mode and Add the TUNING parameter
    I Hope this helps.
    Best Regards

  • MessageTransformBean in sender JMS Adapter flat file to xml conversion

    Hi All,
    The scenario is MQ (Flat File )  --->PI -
    >Idoc
    The flat file structure is
    112233
    AABBCC
    The expected XML Structure after using MessageTransformBean in the sender JMS adapter  is
    <Record>
    <Row>
    <f1>11</f1>
    <f2>22</f2>
    <f3>33</f3>
    </Row>
    <Row>
    <f1>AA</f1>
    <f2>BB</f2>
    <f3>CC</f3>
    </Row>
    </Record>
    But I am getting 2 SEPARATE xml messages each with only one Row in it like the following
    1st XML:
    <Record>
    <Row>
    <f1>11</f1>
    <f2>22</f2>
    <f3>33</f3>
    </Row>
    </Record>
    2nd XML:
    <Record>
    <Row>
    <f1>AA</f1>
    <f2>BB</f2>
    <f3>CC</f3>
    </Row>
    </Record>
    I would like to have one xml message with all rows in it.It seems the MessageTransformBean is not recognizing the end of line in the flat file.Do i need to use endSeparator explicitly.
    I followed the "How to use Content Conversion in JMS Adapter " and configured the adapter,still no luck..
    Any Help greatly Appreciated
    Thanks,
    C

    Hi Chirag,
    The parameter name sequence changes alphabetically by itself when I save and activate it eventhough I enter as it is in the document.How to stop changing this sequence or put it the order as required in the Module Processor.
    Currently my sequence is
    Transform.Class
    Transform.ContentType
    xml.conversionType
    xml.documentName
    xml.documentNamespace
    xml.fieldFixedLengths
    xml.fieldNames
    xml.processFieldNames
    xml.structureTitle
    Let me know how to change the sequence ,if that is the issue.
    Thanks,
    C

  • Sync/Async communication in JMS adapter without BPM

    Hi,
    as of SP19 XI's JMS adapter offers this new feature for Sync/Async communication through JMS Adapter modules instead of using a BPE.
    Now I would be interested to know if anybody has already successfully used this feature especially using WebSphere MQ as a JMS Provider (preferredly in the mode JMS Compliant: WebSphere MQ (non-JMS)).
    I experienced some issues with the XI Message ID being used as the JMS Correlation ID which is then mapped to the MQ Correlation ID being truncated after 24 characters. So I don't exactly know whether this is due to wrong setup or some general issues with this messaging system.
    Please let me know if you have any experiences at all with this new feature (please do not just post links to the following blogs, which I have thoroughly studied as well as the How-to Guide concerning this topic)
    /people/venkataramanan.parameswaran/blog/2007/01/18/syncasync-communication-in-jms-adapter-without-bpm-sp19

    Hi Peter,
    we working on the same Problem. Using IBM Websphere MQ as JMS Provider for the new feature: sync/async bridge without BPE.
    we switched on a high level trace for the adapter framework and saw a problem in the receiving Object of the JMS correlation id. The notify bean receives the JMS correlationid in hex format. so the beans have two different correlations, which could not find together.
    did you have any solution to get this new feature works with IBM Websphere ?
    thanks

  • Correlation issue in JMS adapter - SYNC/ASYNC scenario without BPM

    Hi,
    I am working on a SYNC/ASYNC scenario with JMS adapter without using BPM. My scenario is SOAP<>PI>JMS. I configured the interface as below:
    1. SOAP Sender channel
    2. JMS Receiver Channel writing to Queue A.
         Module used:      a. RequestOneWayBean
                   b. WaitResponseBean
         Correlation Settings:
                   a. Set JMS Correlation ID to "XI Message ID"
                   b. Store JMS CorrelationID of request (Checked)
                   c. Set JMS Property to "JMS Correlation Id"

    I can see the cid in the message from queue A. But I observed thhat the header format of the message in Queue A is "MQSTR".
    ISSUE:
    1. While writing the message to queue A, below adapter log details(part b) concerned me:

    3. Sync / Async Bridge without BPM
    In the note, they mentioned something about header being "MQRFH2". BUt in our case, the header is "MSSTR". Not sure whether it makes any difference.
    Please help.

    Hi,
    detailed error description:
    com.sap.aii.adapter.jms.api.channel.filter.MessageFilterException: found no correlation ID: RecoverableException:
    found no correlation ID at com.sap.aii.adapter.jms.core.channel.filter.SendToModuleProcessorFilter.filter(SendToModuleProcessorFilter.java:105) ...
    This error would generally arose when there are multiple messages, got stuck in the outbound queue. Try to stop both the sender and receiver JMS comunication channels and clear both the inbound and outbound queues.
    Once all the messages in the queue are cleraed, try posting the message again.

  • Idoc xml message in JMS adapter

    Hi All,
    Question 1:
        My scenario is MQ series(JMS adaptr) to SAP(IDOC adptr) . In my mapping both source and target structure is same IDOC structure.Where MQ series will send IDOC xml. In such case shall i need to do content conversion at JMS adapter level or not.whthr IDOC xml can be directly handle at Mapping level without doing any content conversion in adapter level.
    Question 2(viceversa):
         SAP(IDOC adptr) to MQ series(JMS adaptr) . In my mapping both source and target structure is same IDOC structure.Where MQ series expect me IDOC xml. How to handle content conversion at JMS recvr adapter level.
    my assumption only in case of (xml to plain) and (plain to xml) require content conversion here my Input and output is IDOC xml.

  • XML document conversion to Plain document in XI using JMS Adapter?

    Hi,
    We are trying to send an soap based XML document from ECC to MQSeries 6.0 using PI 7.0. I created receiver communicaiton channel to MQ with the below modules
    1. AF_Modules/MessageTransformBean - Module Key XML2Plain
    2. SAP XI JMS Adapter/ConvertMessageToBinary - Module Key CallJMSService
    3. SAP XI JMS Adapter/SendBinarytoXIJMSService - Module Key Exit
    Module configuration parameters I provided are
    XML2Plain-  Transform.Class com.sap.aii.messaging.adapter.Conversion
                       TransformContentType text/plain;charset=utf-8
                       xml.addHeaderLine 0
                       xml.conversionType SimpleXML2Plain
                       xml.fieldSeparator ,
                       xml.fixedLengthTooShortHandling Cut
    The payload I am using is
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <ns0:MT_Company xmlns:ns0="http://bnsf.com/hr/tm">
       <Row CCODE="1001" DESC="test company"/>
    </ns0:MT_Company>
    When I test in RWB
    1. The channel monitoring shows green and the below message
    "Successfully connected to destination 'queue:///QL_DAVEOUT?targetClient=1"
    2. RWB shows error message "Error while sending message:invalid content type  for SOAP:TEXT/HTML;HTTP 500 Timeout"
    3. when I look at the message, I see the last message shows as
    "2008-06-16 15:16:44 Success Transform: transforming the payload ..." and I do not see any more messages.
    Can anyone help me here? Thanks in advance

    I changed the payload to
    <xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8">
    <ns0:MT_Company xmlns:ns0="http://bnsf.com/hr/tm">
    <row CCODE="1001" DESC="TEST" />

  • Sender/receiver JMS Adapter XML Format

    What is the XML format do we need to pass to Sender/receiver JMS adapter to get it processed. Do we have any specific format like JDBC adapter.
    Thanks,
    Sam

    Hi,
    1) The JMS adapter (Java Message Service) enables you to connect messaging systems to the Integration Engine or the PCK
    2) Before to use the JMS adapter we must first install the relevant JMS driver.
    The required Java libraries are product-specific The provider setting specifications are the same for the receiver and sender adapter
    3)We need to configure the JMS adapter in the configuration part of the Integration Builder/PCK
    4) The Sender JMS adapter is configured to send JMS messages to the Integration Engine or the PCK.
    5)The Receiver JMS adapter is configured to be able to convert XI messages from the Integration Server or the PCK into JMS messages

  • JMS Adapter - data conversion xml- structured data has extra characters

    Further to [Using MQ / JMS adapter with legacy system to talk to SAP;, I am using the Module tab on my receiver JMS Adapter to convert the xml payload to a structured format. It converts to the mainframe ebcdic code set.  I am on PI 7.11, and the MQ Series (which JMS interacts with) is 6.0.  The code I have is comparable to the wiki:[http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/XI/HowTo...ContentconversionmodulewithJ2EEJMS+adapter], i.e. the example at the very bottom of that article.
    The issue we are having is that an extra character gets inserted at the end of each structure (within the message), i.e. our message contains 4 structures, but when we view the structured data on our mainframe system (that arrives from PI), the entire message is shifted by 4 characters... by 1 after the end of each structure.  On the mainframe, this extra character appears as '.'. It must be an end-of-line or something...
    Has anyone had the same issue?  If so, were you able to resolve? I could probably set up my message data type to just be one big declare (thus eliminating the use of structures within it), but that is something I'd rather not do.
    We are in the process of reviewing Note 856346, #6 but not sure if it applies.

    Keith

    Hi,
    check localejbs/SAP XI JMS Adapter/ConvertMessageToBinary Local Enterprise Bean convert_XI2Bin
    this is not CallJMSService.
    And also check the receiver Structure, if it is falt structure its ok, else
    see the below link if it has the complex structure , how to handle..

  • JMS adapter adding namespace to PIP. Please help!

    Hi Experts,
      I have a XI scenario where 4C1 PIP is being sent to TIBCO.
      The issue is that, the output PIP has a namespace <Pip4C1InventoryReportNotification xmlns:jms1="http://www.tibco.com/namespaces/tnt/plugins/jms">
      But no where in XI this namespace has been specified. I suspect that this namespace is getting added in JMS adapter side.
      Can this namespace be easily removed in JMS adpter so that PIP element is generated as <Pip4C1InventoryReportNotification> ? If Yes, then how can we do that?
    Thanks & Regards
    Gopal

    From the namespace and the prefix, I guess that the Tibco jms libraries add that namespace. If this is true, you cannot do anything in PI and you have to check, if Tibco can work with that namespace or remove it.

  • Unable to get BPEL composite with JMS Adapter running.

    Hello All,
    I have tried to build a BPEL Composite to use JMS Adapter, by following the link http://blogs.sun.com/malkit/entry/oracle_soa_suite_bpel_to
    Steps in WebLogic console:
    1. Created a new JMS Server JMSServer-0 (file persistent store) this is targeted to AdminServer
    1. Created a new JMS Module SystemModule-0
    3. Created a connection factory in this module JNDI jms/SendRecvConnectionFactory
    4. Created a queue in this module JNDI jms/ReceiveQueue
    5. Created a SubDeployment Subdeployment0 for these two components.
    6. Created a new JMSAdapter connection pool JNDI eis/tst/TestJMSConn and set the ConnectionFactoryLocation property to jms/SendRecvConnectionFactory
    Next, I created a simple Java client and tested the JMS Queue to work fine. This went well.
    Next, used JDeveloper to create a BPEL Composite to use JMSAdapater, and followed the guidelines given in the above URL to create the JCA file.
    While deploying this BPEL composite, I hit a warning in SOA diagnostic server:
    JMSAdapter JMSSampleProj JmsDDEndpoint_onFailure: Unable to resolve 'jms.ReceiveQueue'
    As a result of this warning, the BPEL Composite instances do not get created when I send a message from the test client.
    Please find herewith the log details.
    I am using JDeveloper Build JDEVADF_11.1.1.4.0_GENERIC_101227.1736.5923 and FMW 11g R1 PS3 RC11.
    Any help here?
