JMS headers for supporting ebxml attachments

Hi,
We have just tried out the attachment support in ebxml. it seems to be working fine with using AQ headers but it is failing for JMS headers. Can you please give us the exact headers for JMS for attachment? Waiting for an early reply.
Thanks
Kavitha

Thanks all for the prompt replies.
It works fine with the JMS header ATTACHMENT. The error we got was something unrelated to this and we solved that issue. We are using Oracle 10g.
As of now, we are using standalone jms stub to post the message. We will try to integrate this with WLI(JMS) and let you know if we face any issues.

  • Creating JMS Headers for executing IMS Transactions

    Hi,
    We have a requirement where we need to execute IMS Tran from PI. So we need to set the IMS Headers (MQIIH) on JMS Receiver channel. Also we need to set the some MQMD Header properties that JMS Receiver do not have like UserIdentifire, Format, etc.
    I refered some of the documentation through which we were able to create the attributes in usr section. But that is not solving the purpose.
    Thanks for your help in advance.
    Thanks
    Sandeep

    Hi Sandeep,
    Do you have trouble with the IMS Headers or the MQMD? Can you post your configuration?
    Here's a configuration I use for changing MQMD parameter in the receiver JMS channel:
    In the advanced tab, additional parameters:
    JMSMessageClass                             com.ibm.jms.JMSMessage
    JMS.Message.method.setJMSCorrelationID     java.lang.String 1
    You can refer to this help page from IBM to know witch method to call: (setJMSCorrelationID)
    http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wmqv7/v7r0/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.mq.javadoc.doc/WMQJMSClasses/com/ibm/jms/JMSObjectMessage.html
    You can achieve the same thing with the DynamicConfiguraitonBean in the module tab but you do not need both. They do the same thing.
    If you want to use the DynamicConfigurationBean:
    Module cfg:
    AF_Modules/DynamicConfigurationBean LocalEnterpriseBean dc
    Module params:
    dc.key0  insert http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/JMS DCJMSCorreleationID
    dc.value0 1
    reference: https://cw.sdn.sap.com/cw/docs/DOC-10784
    Those two configurations will do the same thing, hardcode the CorrellationID of the message to 1.

  • Accessing JMS Headers in WLI

    Hi,
    I have a process that is initiated by an XML event. I have a client that constructs
    and posts this XML message to a JMS queue. I am also setting some JMS headers
    for that message such as correlation ID. The question is, how do I access these
    values once the process is triggered? All that I am able to get at is the actual
    XML itself.
    --Krish.

    RTFM issue. Answered my own question.

  • Convert JMS Headers from EBCDIC to ASCII when using JMS Bridge (WLS - WMQ)

    I have a Java app on Weblogic 11g using a Message Bridge to talk JMS with IBM Websphere MQ. The MQ server is running on IBM z/OS platform which uses EBCDIC encoding. I need to use the Weblogic message selector feature to filter messages on the bridge coming from Websphere MQ. But the JMS Headers of MSGs posted by WMQ are in EBCDIC format. How can I instruct MQ to convert the msg headers to ASCII before put on the bridge? Is there any flag on bindings config file? Or can I set some WMQ specific header before sending the msg on WLS side?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    Such option is not possible in weblogic but I think this property will help you with in MQ.
    Property - Convert EBCDIC newline
    Description - EBCDIC code pages contain a new line (NL) character that is not supported by the ASCII code pages (although some ISO variants of ASCII contain an equivalent). If messages are sent from a system that uses EBCDIC code pages (for example, a z/OS system) to a system that uses ASCII, you can control how the EBCDIC newline character is converted into ASCII format.
    The default value is NL_TO_LF, which means that the EBCDIC NL character (X'15') is converted to the ASCII line feed character LF (X'0A') for all EBCDIC to ASCII conversions. To convert the EBCDIC NL character according to the conversion tables on your operating system, click TABLE. Note that the results of a TABLE conversion can vary from platform to platform and from language to language; even on the same platform the results might vary if you use different coded character set identifiers (CCSIDs). To convert ISO CCSIDs using the TABLE method and use the NL_TO_LF method for all other CCSIDs, click ISO.
    Registry Stanza Key - ConvEBCDICNewline
    Also, the MQSeries (not MQSC) adapter provides the data conversion property may handle this conversion as well.

    My Steps for OJMS PRovider
    1. Creating AQ queue in DB
    2. configuration of resource adapter and provider
    3. configuration of connection factories for resourceadapter[jmsconnector]
    code:
    1. Created the Queue table in DB using the sql
    DROP USER jmsuser CASCADE;
    GRANT connect, resource,AQ_ADMINISTRATOR_ROLE TO jmsuser IDENTIFIED BY jmsuser;
    GRANT execute ON sys.dbms_aqadm TO jmsuser;
    GRANT execute ON sys.dbms_aq TO jmsuser;
    GRANT execute ON sys.dbms_aqin TO jmsuser;
    GRANT execute ON sys.dbms_aqjms TO jmsuser;
    connect jmsuser/jmsuser;
    -- Create table to hold the queue, then create queue.
    -- For topics multiple_consumers must be true
    BEGIN
    DBMS_AQADM.CREATE_QUEUE_TABLE( Queue_table => 'SMSCP_INQTBL', Queue_payload_type => 'SYS.AQ$_JMS_MESSAGE',
    sort_list => 'PRIORITY,ENQ_TIME', multiple_consumers => false, compatible => '8.1.5');
    DBMS_AQADM.CREATE_QUEUE( Queue_name => 'SMSCP_INQ', Queue_table => 'SMSCP_INQTBL');
    DBMS_AQADM.START_QUEUE(queue_name => 'SMSCP_INQ');
    END;
    quit;
    Now our queue Name is queue Name : SMSCP_INQ table Name: SMSCP_INQTBL
    2. Creating the Cp and datasource for the db [jmsuser] to make java to access queue
    Creating ConnectionPool jmsDBPool
    Creating DataSource jmsDBDataSource
    Jndi jdbc jdbc/JMSDBDS
    After creating, i got the following data-sources.xml
    DATASOURCES.XML

  • Playbook requires me to pay for support when it did not work from the beginning and they could not fix.

    lack of email app- makes this may purchase virtually useless. because
    cant bridge with my bb 9700. maybe twice after deleting from both, and rebridging, i got connections. i cant spend an hour bridging every time. since may this is unfixable. the support people cant fix it after dozens of hours. got lots.of emails from them though. asking if i was resolved. when i answered no, they asked me to do it all again. they have no fix for this.
    can type documents, but cant email them to anybody. same with excel. no way to attach documents when the bridge doesnt work.
    i am a ceo,and i am moving my entire organization off bb becuase of this.
    have spent many many hours from the beginning in may, and now they want me to pay a 129 dollar fee to get support when it has not worked right from the beginning.
    i bought an ipad today and i am absolutely blown away by how much better it is in every single way. dozens of bbs are going away now.
    slow, no.email, locks up all the time, stand by button restarts tablet, no bridging without total reload on both devices. why would i go through this anymore? it is costing my business a fortune with myself and my people trying to make the playbook work.
    we will get ipads and make more money.
    i have tried to stay loyal to bb, but after being told i have to pay for support
    when i did once get a connection through bridge, reply locked up everytime on an email. could not type.

    I would like to add my support to this comment.
    Strike 1) Bridging a BB 9700 with a PB is flaky at best. Even if you run the very latest software on both, it does not work properly. This is NOT a user issue but a programme/application issue. RIM software running on RIM hardware and O/S and NOT being able to connect properly = RIM fault.(see my other post: My Bridge connects, it exchanges data like passwords, number of unread emails and my playbook notifies me when someone calls my BB, but it does NOT unlock)
    Strike 2) All this used to work fine during the 90d grace suport period (apart from the flaky bluetooth issue that required a hard reboot of the BB whenever the connection was broken in a bad way)
    Strike 3) Now, after a PB OS upgrade (which I faithfully applied), several phone upgrades (due to another problem) and the latest Bridge application install, it all doesn't work anymore, 100 days after I bought the flipping thing. so I have a fancy ebook reader, not the productivity enhancing tool I can use on the go.
    So now I am stuck with a forum that can't help, a technical database that does not contain this support information and a broken RIM application on RIM Hardware and O/S that I paid a lot of money for. And now they want more to look at this incident????? I am sorry but if this was a problem caused by usage, configuration or any other user error, I could understand it. But this is all completely in RIMs ballpark. I have done everything right. It connects. It just DOES NOT WORK!!!!!
    As I said in my other post, an evaluation of the PB in my company is ongoing as a possible management tool by people I know quite well, as I work in the area, but my advice would definitely be to stay away until basic functionality like emails, attachments, calendars etcetera are all suitably solved and usable by the average manager with sausage fingers and no clue about bluetooth, hard reboots and who won't be able to hold down the power, + & - buttons at the same time as the fingers won't fit!!
    So RIM, get your finger out, open up an email support channel or get some qualified support people go through this forum and help those people who have shown faith in your products and who now have real problems with your software and hardware. DONT HIDE BEHIND A STUPID SUPPORT FEE - MAN UP TO YOUR PROBLEMS!!!

    Hi David,
    The "covert byte[] to a base64 encoded string" solution, is probably your best
    bet given the scenario you described.

    what
    is the best approach in order to send a SOAP message which has binary
    data?
    My EJB is currently receiving a byte[] and returning also a byte[]. The
    only solution
    I can think of right now is to convert the byte[] into a String in base64
    format.
    Would you recommend that?
    Thanks in advance.

  • [solved] building the kernel headers for custom kernels

    well, ive been building several different kernels for my laptop, so that i can test stuff. but ive got a problem with the kernel headers.
    ive mirrored the arch kernel's PKGBUILD and modified some naming to get a custom kernel. but when i try to build a custmo module, it complains the headers are broken. (example, vbox_build_module).
    im pasting the pkgbuild here for future reference...if someone sees something thats plain wrong, please say so.
    thanks

  • Custom jms headers are removed when a message pass through OSB's proxyservi

    Hi,
    I am using OSB 10.3. Trying to build the application withe the following flow.
    proxyservice(jms integration)-->businessservice(jms integration)-->MDB
    When a jms message with some custom headers are posted to a proxyservice, the custom headers are getting strippped off and only the plain jms message is received in the MDB and not the custom jms headers. I have enabled "Get all headers" option to "Yes" on the proxyservice. Do I need to do anything special to get those jms properties on to a MDB?

  • Adding custom http headers for WSRP requests

    Hello,
    I wonder whether it is possible to insert custom http headers for WSRP
    requests?
    To give more details:
    We are going to have portlets exposed via WSRP (hosted on non-weblogic
    server). We need these portlets to work on different portals including
    WebLogic Portal. And we need to have working SSO. There needed at least
    2 SSO options:
    1. Having SiteMinder protected portal. Will WebLogic pass SiteMinder
    headers further to WSRP producer?
    2. Custom SSO tokens to be passed as http headers. Is it possible to
    make weblogic to add custom http headers when calling producer?
    2a. Credential mapping shall be used to get username/password for
    backend application (accessed from producer side), and than these
    username/password shall be passed as http headers when requesting producer.

  • Does jms distributed queue support automatic service migration?

    As the migration document of Weblogic mentioned, the jms distributed queue can be manually migrated, but the document doesn't talk about automatic migration of jms distributed queue. Does jms distributed queue support automatic service migration? Anybody can help me? Thanks a lot.

    When you look at configuring JMS, you do something like:
    Create a JMS server that will contain one or more JMS destinations and will live on a particular server instance.
    Next you create a JMS module and target it to a cluster. Within the module you create a distributed queue (destination).
    Note that it is the JMS server which is the so-called pinned service. For pinned services you can configure migratable targets
    the way you want it (http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13222_01/wls/docs81/jms/config.html#1056368)

  • JMS Transport for BPEL processes

    Hi,
    Can anyone let me know if we can use JMS transport for hosting the webservices in BPEL. If we can host, any pointers on how to do it would be of great help.
    Regards,
    SK

    Here is the edoc for JMS transport:
    http://edocs.bea.com/wls/docs81/webserv/jmstransport.html
    WSDL will have an additional port. The address for
    this port looks like:
    "jms://" + host + ":" + port + "/" + jmsFactoryName +
    "/" + jmsQueueName + "?URI=" + serviceURI;
    Soap envelope is send as a JMS text message. Client
    also sends the serviceURI as a String property (with
    name "URI" and value serviceURI). It also need to create
    a temp queue to get the response and the temp queue
    is set using JMSReplyTo() method on the message.
    Let me know if you need more details,

    binding to JMS for this and the SOAP 1.1 bindingg to JMS for this.

  • Does ios 7 support ics attachments?

    Ever since I downloades ios 7, I cannot download ics invitations from outlook.  Does ios 7 support ics attachments?

    Here's a workaround that's worked very well for me, which is based on the fact that the gmail app can handle outlook invites:
    1. Create a rule that sends a copy of all invitation requests to your gmail account
    2. Generate a link to your gmail calendar to be used for sharing
    3. Use that link to add a calendar to your iCloud account, which will sync with your gmail calendar
    4. Open your calendar invite from the gmail app. When you accept the invite it will notify the sender, the event will be added to your gmail calendar and then automatically be added to your IOS calendar.
    Once setup properly it works very smoothly. Hope that helps.
