JOGL End User Files

I am creating a program with JOGL, which requires the jogl.jar file and the jogl.dll file. The jogl.jar must be in the ClassPath and the jogl.dll must be in the java.library.path.
SO I have two questions:
1. How do I, on my computer, change my java.library.path permenantly (not just dynamically every time i run the program). I looked in My Computer---Environment Variables, but didnt see it.
2. What is the best way to get a program like this to the end-user? I think i'll have to include the above 2 files in the package I give them, but how will I load the dll?
Thanks

I think the bulk of what you're asking is answered here:
http://www.xith.org/pages/installing_xith3d.html
It describes the best place to put those dll's and jar files, so that they load automatically

  • How do I access the End User Licensing Agreement? I clicked on it and it gives me a message that I need to launch Adobe Reader, accept and close and reopen. Trouble is I can't get to an icon for file to launch. I am working on a Mac and have installed Mac

I am using a Mac and have installed Adobe Reader for Mac, latest version. I cannot access the End User Licensing Agreement. I clicked on it and it gives me a message that I must launch Adobe, check that I agree, close and reopen. The problem is I can't find any way to launch Adobe because it appears nowhere on my launch pad, nor in my document files or on the control panel. Because of this, I cannot print bank statements nor can I get into my insurance companies billing department to make a payment. HELP!

How about in your Applications folder?

  • How can end users execute rules files ?

There is a need to have Hyperion Planning end users kick off a rules file in EAS. Obviously we can not give end users access to EAS to execute a SQL based rules file. Our Admin is now executing the same rules files 20 times a day. What is the best way for the end user to execute a rules file themselves or load data to Essbase from a SQL source ?
    Thanks

Thanks for the suggestions. The first reply of using the MaxL script to call the load rule is what you would do if you were an administrator. My problem is that this solution is for end users and they would need to somehow need to use a Remote Desktop Protocol to log into a server and call a batch file that contained the MaxL script to load data.
The second reply seems a little bit more elegant in that the end users could theoretically kick off a data load by executing a BR that calls an ODI Package. This way, the users don't have to leave the Planning Application to load data.
We do use ERPi and therfore we do have ODI, but I'm new to ODI and it would take me awhile to piece together all the moving pieces to make this work. I guess the first reply is my path of least resistance so I'm going to give it a try. I'm more perplexed however, in that we can't be the only company out there that has a need for the end users to execute a load rule at their own discretion. Are there any more suggestions out there ?
    Thanks Gurus.

  • Is there in easy way for end-users to regularly update the music-on-hold audio file (.wav) - without having to learn or install CCA?

I want to give client the ability to change the MOH file themselves - they want to create a new announcement audio each week.   They're not going to be comfortable using CCA.   I was hoping to let them use FTP (from a PC Desktop) to replace the MOH file in Flash with updated .au file.   Is this possible?
If not, what's the Easiest end-user method to have them place the new MOH file into the UC560?
    Thanks in advance!
    Sam

    Hello Sam,
There is an audio port on the front of the UC560. What my clients have done is develop their MOH announcements with associated background music and upload it to an iPod or MP3 player. We plug the audio cable from the iPod into the MoH port and configure the MoH port via CCA 3.2(3). Select the Configuration - Telephony - Voice Features-Music on Hold and select to enable the external MoH port.
As your client wants to add or change the announcements, they just need to play the track and loop it.
    Hope this helps.

  • I am getting this response when I am trying to open a file: Before viewing PDF documents in this browser you must launch Adobe Reader and accept the End User License Agreement, then Quit and relaunch the browser."  What do I do?

I am getting this response when I am trying to open a file: Before viewing PDF documents in this browser you must launch Adobe Reader and accept the End User License Agreement, then Quit and relaunch the browser.”  What do I do?  I have opened this up in the past without a problem.

    Back up all data.
If Adobe Reader or Acrobat is installed, there should be a setting in its preferences such as Display PDF in Browser. I don't use those applications myself, so I can't be more precise. Deselect that setting, if it's selected. Otherwise do as follows.
Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it, the copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C):
    /Library/Internet Plug-ins
    In the Finder, select
    Go ▹ Go to Folder
from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Paste into the text box that opens (command-V), then press return.
From the folder that opens, remove any items that have "Adobe" or “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then quit and relaunch Safari, and test.
The "Silverlight" web plugin distributed by Microsoft can also interfere with PDF display in Safari, so you may need to remove it as well, if it's present. The same goes for a plugin called "iGetter," and perhaps others.
If you still have the issue, repeat with this line:
    ~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari again.

  • Error message for PDF files "accept the End User License Agreement, then Quit and relaunch the browser"?

Whenever I try to view a PDF file, I'm getting the error message "Before viewing PDF documents in this browser you must launch Adobe Reader and accept the End User License Agreement, then Quit and relaunch the browser." I have the new Adobe Reader but am still getting this message.

Even after launching Reader and accepting the EULA? Most strange.

  • How do I activate the end user agreement so I can download pdf files to safari

    The question is this :
Why does the message come up saying:
Before proceeding you must first launch Adobe Acrobat and accept the End User License Agreement.
This occurs when I try to download a PDF file using the browser Safari version 7.06 on a Apple Computer using the operating system
    OS X version 10.9.4.
I am able to use the adobe acrobat reader regularly but not through the browser.
    Thanks for any help.

As Deepak already asked above, can you please let us know if you have both Reader and Acrobat installed? If so exact version of the applications.
After you finished installing did you launch the Reader or Acrobat from your /Applications folder and accept EULA(End User License Agreement)?
    Please try this:
    Quit Safari
Go to /Applications/ and launch Adobe Reader or Acrobat which ever is installed.
    Accept End User License
Now launch Safari and View PDF.
Please let us know if this resolves your issue.

  • Where is button to accept end user agreement so I can download or read online file.  mac osx reader XI

where is button to accept end user agreement so I can download or read online file.  mac osx reader XI
every time i click  on a file to downloac
i get a reader message Before viewing PDF ... you must launch adobe reader and then accept the End User License Agreement. Ive searched  every part of the menu for this and cant fine it

Ok, so the Reader app works. Fine, but why did you say ",the reader won't open any more", that led us a confusing direction.
Ok, the problem is most likely caused because you downloaded Acrobat Pro, which takes over from Reader, then got rid of it. You now have part of Acrobat in Safari, not part of Adobe Reader.
There are two things to try to fix this. The first and easiest is to download and install Adobe Reader again. That should puts its stuff back in Safari with a bit of luck.
Important note for others following this thread. Downloading Adobe Reader is not going to help you if you have not understood and followed the instructions to "launch" Adobe Reader (or Adobe Acrobat). Make sure you understand what "launch" means before downloading anything again.

  • Error: I cannot view any PDF files without launching Reader and accepting end User agreement.  I have already downloaded Reader.

I am getting an error message when I go to open a PDF file on my MAC that says "Before viewing PDF documents in this browser you must launch Adobe Reader and accept the end user agreement.  I have already downloaded Reader many times and followed all of the troubleshooting options.  I have matched up my software, which is the latest version and checked to make sure my internet security is enabling java script.  I don't know what to do.  Please help.

Chrome uses it's own pdf viewer. That's why you don't get the message.
If you are still having the problem on a Mac try:
Make sure your files are not hidden : http://osxdaily.com/2009/02/25/show-hidden-files-in-os-x/
Quit Safari and Adobe Reader if running.
    Go to HD/<Users>/<user name>/Library/Preferences/ delete com.adobe.Reader.plist
    Launch Adobe Reader from /Applications/
You should be prompted to accept EULA.
If on a Windows machine, do what Bernd described above. Launch Adobe Reader on it's own, not by double clicking a pdf or a link in a browser.

Why can I view PDF files from the Web on my iMac even after I installed Adobe Reader and accepted the end user license agreement.I then quit the application relaunched it, as instructed snd still the PDF document comes out blank or black. Please advice. Thanks

Are you saying that Adobe Reader or Preview can't read PDF file that you download? Or, are you saying that you can't display PDF files in your Safari broweer? If the latter, then delete any AdobePDFViewer plugins you find in /Library/Internet Plug-ins/ and restart. That should allow Safari to display PDFs in its window. BTW, that's the worst place to view them. Better to download them and use Adobe Reader or Preview.

  • End-User Agreement before opening a pdf file

Hi, is it possible to have an end-user agreement type thing come up when a user opens a pdf file which will only open the document if they accept the agreement? How would i do that?

You can fake it, either using JavaScript and a dialog box or script-controlled layers on the first page of the PDF; but neither method is even remotely-secure, and won't work if the user has scripting disabled or is viewing in a non-Adobe tool or a mobile device.

  • Denying end users access to a flash file

    Hi everyone,
I'm working on a project that I'm hoping to get some help
with, I'm very new to flash. I need a way to steam a flash video to
a users browser, without the file actualy being downloaded onto the
users computer. Basicly my company wants to sell views to some of
the courses we offer implimented in flash. We need to restrict the
user to accessing the flash file once, which I can do, but the part
that i'm not sure about is if a copy of it will always end up on
    the users computer.
Sorry if this is not an appropriate place for this question,
but I was hopeing somone might have some insight.
    Thanks!

    Hi,
did you maintain entries in SM30 BCOS_CUST
You have to have the following entry in your satellite system BCOS_CUST view.
    OSS_MSG
    W
    <Your RFC Destination to SOLMAN>
    CUST620
    1.0
then you'll be able to create a support message.
Also create BPs in SOLMAN, using DSWP -->Edit --> Create Business Partners.
Select your system and date somewhere back dated all the endusers in your satellite system will be populated select the users and create BPs.
You don't have to worry about end user authorization.
    This will solve your problem.
    Feel free to revert back.

Every time I try to open a pdf file it says I must accept the End User Agreement, so I just try to install it again and it pops up an error.

Does it just say you have to accept the license agreement, or does it say you have to LAUNCH something (Adobe Reader, or Adobe Acrobat)? If it says this, have you done what it says? Or would you like assistance in how to launch stuff in Mac OS or Windows?
