Join Multiple Shows

I've got a large project that I'd like to break down into smaller chunks. What is the best way to put several shows together? I'd like to be able to output training videos onto a DVD with a menu that would allow users to jump to a specific segment. I've got VC3 and a couple of video editing and DVD authoring software programs. Any recommendations or suggestions?

Depends on what your audience is going to be. AVI is my preference but it can be rather large. If you are going to put it on DVD, then your authoring software can determine that. You will also have to choose DVD+ or DVD- .Your choice of codec can also influence it. MPG would be another choice as would mov (For Quicktime).
Take a look at this website: http://www.videohelp.com/ It is one of the best.

How do I join multiple Contacts that are exact or very similar on my iPhone 5?  When I bought my iP5, I merged my contact from my android phone but almost all of my contacts were duplicated (I now have over 4k contacts) in this process.  Any suggestions are appreciated.

The app My Contacts Backup Pro will identify and delete identical duplicate contacts.

  • How do I join multiple (short) audio clips into one single long audio clip in Premiere Pro CS5?

    Hello,
The question is in the title but I'm wondering how I can join multiple (short) audio clips into one single long audio clip in PP CS5.5.  I put all my short clips right next to each other and selected all of them to see what options are available by right clicking and using the toolbar options at the top.  The closest that I got was to nest the sequence, but that's not what I really want.
I'd like to merge all the short clips into one single (long) audio file to use under the video.
Thoughts are welcome and  greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    -Melvin

O.K. This is kind of fundamental and you will need to learn up on this fully ...but for now...
Make sure you have the WAB ( work area bar )covering the length of the audio clips. ( You do not need to select them)
Go to the File Menu> Export Media
You will be given all the Export Options.  Choose Wave File
Select option for Export Work Area.
Choose where to export the file to ( HD location)
    follow your nose from there....

BTW - Why are you taking the audio to Audition anyway? What are you going to do to it.

  • Best approach to join multiple statistics tables into one

I have read different approaches to join multiple statistics tables into one, they all have a column "productobjectid".
I want to get all data for each product and put it to excel and output a jpg statistic with cfchart.
How would you do this, the sql part?
    Thanks.

    A couple suggestions:
    1) when joining tables, its best to list both table/fields that you are joining in the FROM clause:
    FROM shopproductbehaviour_views INNER JOIN shopproductbehaviour_sails ON shopproductbehaviour_views.productobjectid = shopproductbehaviour_sails.productobjectid
    2) You add tables to a SQL join by placing another join statement after the SQL above:
    SELECT *
FROM TableA INNER JOIN TableB on TableA.myField = TableB.myField
    INNER JOIN TableC on TableA.anotherField = TableC.anotherField
    3) If you have columns in the tables that are named the same, you can use column aliases to change the way they appear in your record set:
    SELECT TableA.datetimecreated 'tablea_create_date', TableB.datetimecreated 'tableb_create_date'
    4) Certainly not a requirement, but you might want to look into using <cfqueryparam> in your where clause:
    WHERE shopproductbehaviour_sails.productobjectid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="CF_SQL_VARCHAR" value="#all.productobjectid#">
You might want to consider checking out one of the many tutorials on SQL available online.  Many of the questions you posed in your post are covered in pretty much every basic SQL tutorial.  Alternately, a good SQL book is worth its weight in gold for a beginning web applications developer.

  • LEFT OUTER JOIN multiple tables - using the 9i syntax

I've always written my queries using the (+) operator for outer joins. I want to start using the new ANSI standard available in 9i. I can do it when I'm joining two tables in a simple query, but how does it work when I am joining multiple tables?
Here is an example of some SQL that works with the (+) outer join syntax. How can I convert this to use the LEFT OUTER JOIN syntax?
    SELECT *
    FROM audit_entry aue,
    audit_table aut,
    audit_statement aus,
    audit_row aur,
    audit_row_pkey aup1,
    audit_row_pkey aup2
    WHERE aue.audit_entry_id = aus.audit_entry_id
    AND aut.table_name = 'TEST_AUDITING'
    AND aut.table_owner = 'CLA_JOURNAL'
    AND aus.audit_table_id = aut.audit_table_id
    AND aur.audit_statement_id (+) = aus.audit_statement_id
    AND aup1.audit_row_id (+) = aur.audit_row_id
    AND aup1.pk_column_name (+) = 'TEST_AUDTING_PK_1'
    AND aup2.audit_row_id (+) = aur.audit_row_id
    AND aup2.pk_column_name (+) = 'TEST_AUDITING_PK_2'
I can join audit_statement to audit_entry easy enough, but then I want to join audit_table to audit_statement, how do I do that, do I start nesting the join statements?
    Thanks
    Richard

Thanks for getting back so quickly, I have tried the suggested SQL with mixed results:
    SELECT COUNT(*)
    FROM audit_entry aue
    JOIN audit_statement aus ON aue.audit_entry_id = aus.audit_entry_id
    JOIN audit_table aut ON aus.audit_table_id = aut.audit_table_id
    RIGHT OUTER JOIN audit_row aur ON aur.audit_statement_id = aus.audit_statement_id
    RIGHT OUTER JOIN audit_row_pkey aup1 ON aup1.audit_row_id = aur.audit_row_id
    RIGHT OUTER JOIN audit_row_pkey aup2 ON aup2.audit_row_id = aur.audit_row_id
    WHERE aut.table_name = 'TEST_AUDITING_TWO'
    AND aut.table_owner = 'CLA_JOURNAL'
    AND aup1.pk_column_name = 'TEST_AUDTING_PK_1'
    AND aup2.pk_column_name = 'TEST_AUDITING_PK_2'
I had to change the order slightly, between the first two JOINs but otherwise it executed OK. My problem is, it should only return 175 rows but its returning 30625 rows. If I comment out the second reference to audit_row_pkey I get the expected result:
    SELECT COUNT(*)
    FROM audit_entry aue
    JOIN audit_statement aus ON aue.audit_entry_id = aus.audit_entry_id
    JOIN audit_table aut ON aus.audit_table_id = aut.audit_table_id
    RIGHT OUTER JOIN audit_row aur ON aur.audit_statement_id = aus.audit_statement_id
    RIGHT OUTER JOIN audit_row_pkey aup1 ON aup1.audit_row_id = aur.audit_row_id
    --RIGHT OUTER JOIN audit_row_pkey aup2 ON aup2.audit_row_id = aur.audit_row_id
    WHERE aut.table_name = 'TEST_AUDITING_TWO'
    AND aut.table_owner = 'CLA_JOURNAL'
    AND aup1.pk_column_name = 'TEST_AUDTING_PK_1'
    --AND aup2.pk_column_name = 'TEST_AUDITING_PK_2'
It looks the same condition is being used in each case but why do I suddenly get so many rows - its joining differently somehow. It must be to do with the order, do I need to bracket the query?
    Thanks again

  • Can we join Multiple Databases tables in PRD File ?

    Hi ,
I am working on POC project and trying to Join Multiple Databases to create one rpd file . Lets say I have complete SH schema from Oracle and I want couple of tables (Time and Products) tables from Sybase .
I want bring sybase TIME and Product tables into Oracle SH Schema and create joins in physical layer. When I try to do it, it is throughing an error .. Am I missing some thing here ?
    Is it possible?
    Thanks
    Shivaji

You have not mentioned what is the error!!!
we can create join b/w the tables of different databases
You need to select the table from one database and aswell as other table in other database and
right click > physical join > selected tables only...
This is the way of creating physical joins... or else you select both the databases and select physical joins...
It's better that you mention what is the error you are getting..??

  • Need Help on Joining multiple tables in Golden Gate

    Hi,
Can you please help me with some examples on joining multiple tables in Golden Gate. i.e, my requirement is to Join Table 1 & Table 2 in Source and Load it in Target with 10 fields from Table 1 & 5 fields from Table 2 based on the join condition between Table 1.key = Table2.key
I have been trying to do that using SQLEXEC command in Golden Gate. But, is there a way I can do this in the Extract parameter file?
    Thanks for your time
    Regards
    Suresh

    Hi,
Thanks a lot for the prompt reply. I am able to do that for the below scenario
    Source.T1.Field1
    Source.T1.Field2
    Source.T2.Field1
    Source.T2.Field2
    Target Table
    T1.Field1, T1.Field2, T2.Field1, T2.Field2.
But, if I already have T2.Field1 in T1 table, then T1.Field1 takes the precendence and getting loaded. i.e., I wanted to join the table 1 & Table 2 and based on the matching condition, I will need to populate the data either from T1 or T2.
    Hope you got my requirement.
Below the Data Dump file & Replicat File.
    EXTRACT dpump
    USERID ********, PASSWORD ********
    RMTHOST *******, MGRPORT 7809
    RMTTRAIL /oracle/gg/dirdat/rt
    --PASSTHRU
    TABLE TABLE1,
    SQLEXEC (ID LOOKUP,
    QUERY "SELECT FIELD1 FROM SOURCE.TABLE2 WHERE FIELD1 = :v_field1",
    PARAMS ( v_field1 = field1 )),
    TOKENS (tk_field_1 = @GETVAL (lookup.field1));
    Replicat file
    REPLICAT repjoin
    ASSUMETARGETDEFS
    HANDLECOLLISIONS
    USERID *******, PASSWORD ********
    MAP SOURCE.T1, TARGET TARGET.GG_TABLE_T1,
    COLMAP ( USEDEFAULTS ,
    field1 = @token ("tk_party_id"));
I eventually wanted to join like below.
    select t1.field1, t1.field2, t2.field1 from t1, t2
    where t1.field1 = t2.field1;
    Thanks for your time again

  • Joining multiple tables in ssis

I have to join multiple tables like 10 of them and load the data into destination. I get like 66 million records after joining, I have tried two ways to joining and load the data. First way, I used SQL command in ole db source and wrote the query there but
this is taking forever to start, second way is used sort and merge join transformation and also used Issorted property where ever I can but as it requires multiple sort transformation it is time consuming.
Is there any other way I can load those 66 million records in less time??
    Thanks,
    sree

    Hi sree,
If you want to load 66 million records to a SQL server database, the OLE DB Destination Editor allows us to choose either “Table or view” or “Table or view-fast load” from a drop down if data access mode is Table or View. “Table or view-fast load” is the
fastest way to load data to destination. It internally uses the bulk insert statement to send data into the destination table.
Besides, SSIS relies heavily on buffer. A set of records are read into the buffer, and from buffer they are written to the destination. So we can change two properties DefaultMaxBufferRows and DefaultMaxBufferSize to improve the performance. Also we can
add Conditional Split Transformation build some parallelism into the common data flow that directly load data to OLE DB Destination.

  • Joining multiple PDFs in preview

Is there a way to join multiple PDF files into one PDF file using Preview?

Oddly, I didn't find documentation that specifically addresses how to do this but, it's a pretty straightforward process.
When I scan multi-page documents, Image Capture.app saves each page as a separate PDF document. After scanning, let's say, a 3-page document, I open the first page's PDF file in Preview.app. Then I make its sidebar visible. With the sidebar visible, I simply drag page 2 and page 3 into the sidebar.
You don't have to open the other two files. Just drag their icons into the sidebar of page 1, save the document, and you're done.

  • Forming generic sql query   for joining multiple sap tables in ABAp

    Hi,
I am new to this abap field ,facing an issue onsap-jco project . I have used RFC_READ_TABLE  FM ,Customized this FM but facing an issue how to write generic  open SQl select statement  for joining multiple tables  using RFC_READ_TABLE .Kindly help on this issue.
    Thanks.

something like this? If your tuples are not single columns, then you'll have to use dynamic sql to achieve the same result.with
    table_1 as
    (select '|Xyz|Abc|Def|' tuple from dual
    table_2 as
(select '|Data1|Data21|Data31|Data41|Data51|' tuple from dual union all
select '|Data2|Data22|Data32|Data42|Data52|' tuple from dual union all
select '|Data3|Data23|Data33|Data43|Data53|' tuple from dual union all
select '|Data4|Data24|Data34|Data44|Data54|' tuple from dual union all
    select '|Data5|Data25|Data35|Data45|Data55|' tuple from dual
    select case the_row when 1
                        then tuple
                        else '|---|---|' || substr(tuple,instr(tuple,'|',1,3) + 1)
           end tuple
      from (select substr(a.tuple,instr(a.tuple,'|',:one_one),instr(a.tuple,'|',:one_one + 1)) ||
                   substr(a.tuple,instr(a.tuple,'|',1,:one_two) + 1,instr(a.tuple,'|',1,:one_two + 1) - instr(a.tuple,'|',1,:one_two)) ||
                   substr(b.tuple,instr(b.tuple,'|',1,:two_one) + 1,instr(b.tuple,'|',1,:two_one + 1) - instr(b.tuple,'|',1,:two_one)) ||
                   substr(b.tuple,instr(b.tuple,'|',1,:two_two) + 1,instr(b.tuple,'|',1,:two_two + 1) - instr(b.tuple,'|',1,:two_two)) tuple,
                   rownum the_row
              from table_1 a,table_2 b
    order by the_rowRegards

  • Multiple Show Forms

I created multiple 'Show' forms using XML Form Builder and want to call them depending on the link selected in the RenderList.
    Any clue?
    Rgds

    Hi Gulshan,
    unfortunately, thats currently not possible.
To render an XMLForms ShowForm, we are using the normal WebDav servlet (...docs...) with a special ResourceFilter. So its only possible to render it in 2 different ways.
From my point of view, you can only write your own servlet which does the XSL tranformation (choose ShowXSL with Query parameter).

  • Joining multiple albums

I have a 3 CD set of the opera Aida, which I would like to join all the songs of into one long piece so it will always play all together on shuffle mode. Is there any way to join multiple CDs? I tried to burn all onto one CD so I could import it from one disk, but there wasn't enough room on the CD. I was able to fit it onto a DVD, but I wasn't able to join from the DVD.
    Any ideas??
    Thanks

    Hi, welcome to Apple Discussions.
If you join the 3 CDs into one album within iTunes in the manner outlined in One cover for multi-disc album, then select all the tracks and set the Grouping field to "Aida" then *Shuffle by Groupings* should treat the album as a unit.

  • Joining multiple column.

    Hi,
Is there any way we can join multiple column even without a common key values does not have common values. for example, if i have 3 table t1, t2 and t3. all of these tables containts a common column name test, but does not contain the column values. Now, I need to fetch values from these 3 tables and at the same
time, the values shouldn't be duplicate.

Thanks Dave and Satyaki, but yet to find a solution, Anyways, I am posting here a
query and result set. may be, this would make more sence
    SQL> select p.address1 , n.phone_number , s.resort
    2 from profile_info p, name_phone_view n, stay_record_summary s
    3 where p.name_id= n.name_id
    4 and n.name_id = s.name_id
    5 and rownum < 10 ;
    ADDRESS1 PHONE_NUMB RESORT

    138,Residency Road 0116426753 AMAG
    138,Residency Road 0116426753 AMAG
    138,Residency Road 0116426753 TOBBR
    138,Residency Road 0116426753 TOBL

    138,Residency Road 0116426753 TOBL
    138,Residency Road 0116426753 TOBL
here, you can clearly see that I am getting the duplicate values, which I don't need
though, I've used name_id column to join all of them. I know name_id doesn't hold the unique values, this is because I am getting these dup values. That's why, i asked you that is there any workaround to achive the desired.
