I am using J-free chart for rendering charts. My application is work fine with JRE6 but while using JRE7 i am getting following exception

I was not able to reproduce this with Java 7u3 (32bit) on a Windows 7 (32bit).

Sorry let me correct something and give you some additional info. First I spelled .jpg wrong, and second my phone will send pictures to my mail 60 or so % of the time as .jpg and everything is fine but for no apparent reason some times they go thru as ,txt to my hotmail account email. I will also add if I copy a friend with the same picture they will get it as .jpg and be fine.

Adobe Reader 9.x crashes when opening some pdf files that work fine with Adobe Reader 8.x

Adobe Reader 9 crashes when opening approximately 10% to 20% of the pdfs in my collection. The remaining 80% to 90% work without problems. The pdfs are launched by double-clicking the pdf file from Windows Explorer. The crashes occur with both v9.0 and v9.1. The pdfs that crash in v9.x work fine in older versions of Adobe Reader, such as v8.1.3. Furthermore, this behavior also occurs on all 3 virtual machine hosted on the same physical machine, with default Adobe Reader settings, for both v9.0 and v9.1. The virtual machines have little running in memory except standard Windows executables - i.e. they are fairly pristine. The operating systems for the virtual machines are XP SP3, XP SP2, and Windows Server 2003.

To sum up, this problem happens on both a real computer running XP SP3, and also on all 3 virtual machines hosted on the same physical computer. I tried changing the Reader setting to not use hardware rendering, to no avail. I also tried various Data Execution Prevention settings in Windows, to no avail. All operating systems, the real and virtual ones, do not have problems with other programs that I use. I also tried a second machine with Adobe Reader v9.1 and the same exact problem pdfs, and had no issues. Thus, the problem happens on only one of the computers, but on the real and 3 virtual operating systems on that machine. There were no errors reported during any of the Reader installations. The virtual machines had no prior versions of Reader prior to Reader installation.

I did further testing of 10 single page pdf files which I created from a single book. All 5 pdf files with images crashed in Reader v9.1. 0 of the 5 pdf files without images crashed in Reader v9.1. Reader v8.1.4 crashes on none of the 10 pdfs. Note that the crash always occurs in jp2klib.dll, which according to the file property description is 'JPEG2000 Core Library', which deals with images. So it seems the issue is in Adobe's jp2klib.dll, in combination with the hardware/software that I have. I used Microsoft's DirectX Diagnostic Tool to test DirectX, including visual tests of DirectDraw and Direct3D - everything worked as expected with no issues detected. I can't get Layer Masks to work with PScc but works fine with CS6

When I create a layer mask it shows up properly but doesn't work at all. I have the correct layer selected and I'm painting in black (and nothing happens in white either) and there is no problem when doing exactly the same thing with CS6 so I thought there might be a difference in my settings but I can't see any. My masks are NOT disabled in properties. Nothing shows up on the image nor on the mask. I can however, use the eraser tool as normal. Any ideas?

PLease could you help me too. I have been onto support through several emails and online helps and they do not understand the problem correctly and have not resolved it. I have photoshopcc 2014. If I click on add layer mask icon I get a white thumbnail. That seems ok. I then select a brush - set to normal etc. all ok. Then I attempt to either brush in or out on my photo to reveal or hide bits of layer below and it no longer works.
Weirdly, I noticed it was not selected in channels. So I checked the layer mask in channels and then back in layers it works except now it works by painting on a rubylith (which it did not do before 2014 version) then when I am done if I click apply mask everything works ok and it is done. It just does not work unless I select in channels.
This also happens if I apply an adjustment layer. The adjustment comes into the thumbnails with a mask and the mask is unselected in channels, I have to select and it paints a ruby lith.
If I go to layers in the menu however and select layer mask hide all or reveal all then select my brush it works fine and as it normally did before.
I have tried re installing etc. and every bit of normal advice but nothing works. Can you help or do you know anyone who can. As I am desperate here is my email: [email protected]

Can't boot from CD but works fine

I need boot from CD to reset the administrator's password. But the system can not boot up from the installation CD, and it shows some crash message at the startup dark screen. But without CD, the system works fine. I'm using OSX10.4.2, Dual 2.3GHz PowerPC G5, 1.5G RAM, GeForce6600 256MB display card. Anyone helps me out? Thanks a lot!

The original system of this computer was panther and the CD as well. It has been upgraded to Tiger. It couldn't boot from the original CD, no crash message but stopped at the Apple logo startup screen. I suspected the OS version didn't match so that I changed to the Tiger CD (from my MacBook Pro). Then it crashed.
The system works well except that I lost the administrator privilege. Right now I need install a firewire to operate a CCD camera. What should I do?

Program Error from running the *,exe file but works fine running with CVI

When starting CVI created program on Win 2000, I get message “Program Error”.
I have created a program using NI/CVI version 5.5. I am running windows 2000, I get message
“Program Error"
*.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program.
An error log is being created.”
It works fine when running directly from the compilier, but if I run just the *.exe I get this error. I never used to.
Please let me know if anyone else had this problem or knows solution.

In the debugger unitialized globals are initialized to zero, but not for a release .exe. So if you are checking whether a global pointer is NULL before it is set to a value by your application it will generally work fine in the debugger but may crash as a release configuration depending on what you use that pointer for. That's a common thing I have run into.

Can't create Cache file in Dreamweaver MX

I just created a new website in Dreamweaver MX and for some

Try right clicking on the page in Design view and then selecting Element view > Full and see if that helps.

PDF files not able to view with mac os but working fine with other browers even i downloaded pdf plugins

Magic Mouse won't right click on files, but works fine otherwise. 10.6.8

My Magic mouse just suddenly seemd to stop right clicking on files. I can right click on blank sapces in finder or on the desktop and it gives me the usual drop down menu but as soon as I try and right click or ctrl+click on a file there's just nothing. Can't seem to find any similar problems on google. Any ideas?

Hi, yes. The right click would work at start-up until I click on 'always allow' for permissions for google drive, then it dissappears
Unfortunately I found no other workaround other than to switch to the other views (although I strongly dislike working in the other views). But I just use Drive in my internet browser when I do use it, so it's okay for me to uninstall it. Maybe it's something to contact google about so they can fix it on there side.

Cs5 gives error that camera type is not supported when trying to open raw files but worked fine earlier

Can't connect to iTunes but works fine on app store

Is there any problem currently going on iTunes store? Because I tried to connect to iTunes store on my desktop (windows) and it kept loading, same goes to my iPad and iPhone both devices couldn't connect to iTunes but the app store works just fine.

My down and up arrow buttons for scrolling don't work except on the firefox help page, it worked fine with chrome?

I had google chrome before I switched to firefox due to the obsessive popups on chrome. All of a sudden the up and down keys don't scroll up and down on web pages, the only one they work on is the firefox help page. Any thoughts?

We face the same problem with some BI4 reports.
The same report works well with the "Crystal Reports Viewers API", as used in Infoview, but not with the "Report Application Server (RAS) API".
This error appears after some time working on a report. If we reproduce the same report, but from zero, no problem.

Installing SOA 11.1.1.5 on HP-UX and during domain creation/configuration I am getting the below errors

and have lots of cache file errors for different packages
Any idea what might be wrong and whats the cause of these errors and is it safe to ignore these errors if not what is the work arround. As I already looked at the below post but I don't find */var/tmp/wlstTemp* on my machine as suggested in the post below.
SOA 11.1.1.5 install got can't write cache file
So wondering if there's anything else I can do i.e. while creating or configuring a Domain pass some parameter to config.sh etc.
