Sending jpeg (pictures) files from my phone to my hotmail email come thru as txt files, but works fine with my friends

Picture files sent from my phone come thru as txt files to my email instead of jpeg. but when I copy to others it goes thru as jpeg fine.

Sorry let me correct something and give you some additional info. First I spelled .jpg wrong, and second my phone will send pictures to my mail 60 or so % of the time as .jpg and everything is fine but for no apparent reason some times they go thru as ,txt to my hotmail account email. I will also add if I copy a friend with the same picture they will get it as .jpg and be fine.

I was not able to reproduce this with Java 7u3 (32bit) on a Windows 7 (32bit).

Program Error from running the *,exe file but works fine running with CVI

When starting CVI created program on Win 2000, I get message “Program Error”.
I have created a program using NI/CVI version 5.5. I am running windows 2000, I get message
“Program Error"
*.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program.
An error log is being created.”
It works fine when running directly from the compilier, but if I run just the *.exe I get this error. I never used to.
Please let me know if anyone else had this problem or knows solution.

In the debugger unitialized globals are initialized to zero, but not for a release .exe. So if you are checking whether a global pointer is NULL before it is set to a value by your application it will generally work fine in the debugger but may crash as a release configuration depending on what you use that pointer for. That's a common thing I have run into.

Adobe Reader 9.x crashes when opening some pdf files that work fine with Adobe Reader 8.x

Adobe Reader 9 crashes when opening approximately 10% to 20% of the pdfs in my collection. The remaining 80% to 90% work without problems. The pdfs are launched by double-clicking the pdf file from Windows Explorer. The crashes occur with both v9.0 and v9.1. The pdfs that crash in v9.x work fine in older versions of Adobe Reader, such as v8.1.3. Furthermore, this behavior also occurs on all 3 virtual machine hosted on the same physical machine, with default Adobe Reader settings, for both v9.0 and v9.1. The virtual machines have little running in memory except standard Windows executables - i.e. they are fairly pristine. The operating systems for the virtual machines are XP SP3, XP SP2, and Windows Server 2003.

To sum up, this problem happens on both a real computer running XP SP3, and also on all 3 virtual machines hosted on the same physical computer. I tried changing the Reader setting to not use hardware rendering, to no avail. I also tried various Data Execution Prevention settings in Windows, to no avail. All operating systems, the real and virtual ones, do not have problems with other programs that I use. I also tried a second machine with Adobe Reader v9.1 and the same exact problem pdfs, and had no issues. Thus, the problem happens on only one of the computers, but on the real and 3 virtual operating systems on that machine. There were no errors reported during any of the Reader installations. The virtual machines had no prior versions of Reader prior to Reader installation.

I did further testing of 10 single page pdf files which I created from a single book. All 5 pdf files with images crashed in Reader v9.1. 0 of the 5 pdf files without images crashed in Reader v9.1. Reader v8.1.4 crashes on none of the 10 pdfs. Note that the crash always occurs in jp2klib.dll, which according to the file property description is 'JPEG2000 Core Library', which deals with images. So it seems the issue is in Adobe's jp2klib.dll, in combination with the hardware/software that I have. I used Microsoft's DirectX Diagnostic Tool to test DirectX, including visual tests of DirectDraw and Direct3D - everything worked as expected with no issues detected. Every time I try to sign in, I get this error: com.apple.appleaccount error 403. I tried to reset the phone, i'm trying to sign in from settings - iCloud. What is the problem? The apple-id is working fine with iTunes.

Cs5 gives error that camera type is not supported when trying to open raw files but worked fine earlier

on OTHER "Windows 8 Pro" computers - but never used ( i.e. NEVER USED FOR ACTIVATION ),
but after the first reboot, I am running "Windows 8 Pro with Media Center" WITHOUT LICENSE, as shown in the system screen.
Neither my "Windows Media Center Key" nor my "WIndows 8 Pro key" is then accepted to change the situation - I mean the keys I entered just before during the installation process of "Windows 8 Pro" and "Windows Media Center".
I am shure that I did not use the "Windos Media Center" key, as I have a list of personal keys I got for free from Microsoft, and I marked those 2, I used for other "Windows 8 Pro" computers.
So fact is, that with my brand-new computer, 32 Gigabytes of RAM, 4 Cores, "Win8 Pro" installed, I am forced to avoid the installation of "Windows Media Center", though I got valid licenses.
So your answer was not quiet helpful, as it does not change anything.

On Apple Mac i am not able to view/open pdf files even i downloaded adobe reader plugins but same thing i can open with help of other browsers like chrome. And with firefox i am getting below message when try to open pdf files.

When you install or update Adobe Reader, it installs a plugin for viewing PDF files inside Firefox and sets that as the default. The problem is that this plugin does not work. In order to view PDF files again follow these steps

Magic Mouse won't right click on files, but works fine otherwise. 10.6.8

My Magic mouse just suddenly seemd to stop right clicking on files. I can right click on blank sapces in finder or on the desktop and it gives me the usual drop down menu but as soon as I try and right click or ctrl+click on a file there's just nothing. Can't seem to find any similar problems on google. Any ideas?

Hi, yes. The right click would work at start-up until I click on 'always allow' for permissions for google drive, then it dissappears
Unfortunately I found no other workaround other than to switch to the other views (although I strongly dislike working in the other views). But I just use Drive in my internet browser when I do use it, so it's okay for me to uninstall it. Maybe it's something to contact google about so they can fix it on there side.

Hp 3510 prints only blank pages from i-pad, but works fine with xp configured lap top. why? help!

i have an hp3510 wireless printer that worked fine with both my i-pad and on my laptop when 1st installed. now it will only print blank pages with the i-pad although it still works fine when using my xp configured laptop. can anyone tell me how to correct the i-pad problem so that i can print wirelessly using that device?

I would start by powering down the Apple device, make sure that you hold the power button down, and slide the bar on the screen to "Off". If you have more that 1 iOS device that you use with the printer (like another iPad or an iPhone) power them down at the same time. Then turn them all back on and try to print to the printer.
If still having a problem, I would then power down the printer, router, and Apple device.
1. Unplug the router, (most do not have an on/off button)
2. power down printer and Apple device
3. Wait about 20-30 seconds
4. Plug router back in and wait for it to be fully operational and all the light on it back as they were before unplugging it.
5.Power printer and apple device back on (check to settings of iPad to make sure that it is still on the same network as printer and that "Ask to join other networks" is ON).
6. Reattempt to print

Cannot send jpeg pictures to my Motorola cell phone

I cannot seem to get my MacBook Pro to send jpeg pictures to my cell phone (Verizon/Motorola). I can send jpeg pictures from the phone to the computer. When I attempts to send the file to the phone, all things connect and the phone asks if I want to accept the file, then the MacBook delivers a message: cannot send file: Internal Error. Any ideas???

FYI: I figured it out. The jpeg files were too large to send to the phone. Exporting pictures from iPhoto (file>export) allows you to select a file type (jpeg for phone) an image quality, and a picture size. Once the photo is exported, bluetooth can send it to the phone without problems.

Will Apple provide a new charger if theirs is faulty? I have not dropped it in water or anything. It was a normal day and I had 20% battery and I tried to charge my phone and it wouldn't charge. The charging pug box works fine with other phone USB cords so I know its something to do with the charging cord.

Could someone please tell me how I can send a picture file using sockets across a TCP/IP network? I have managed to do it by converting the file into a byte array and then sending it but I dont see the data back at the client when I recieve the file. I just see the byte array as having size 0 at client.
Byte array size is correct at client side.

i used OutputStream as

But I still get the same output on the client side. I tried sending a string and it works , but I cant seem to be able to populate the byte array on the client side. It keeps showing zero. Please advise.

On your Mac, you should be able to remove the checkmark in front of your email address in the "You can be reached by iMessage at" and "Start New Conversations from" sections of iMessage settings.
