Program Error from running the *,exe file but works fine running with CVI

When starting CVI created program on Win 2000, I get message “Program Error”.
I have created a program using NI/CVI version 5.5. I am running windows 2000, I get message
“Program Error"
*.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program.
An error log is being created.”
It works fine when running directly from the compilier, but if I run just the *.exe I get this error. I never used to.
Please let me know if anyone else had this problem or knows solution.

In the debugger unitialized globals are initialized to zero, but not for a release .exe. So if you are checking whether a global pointer is NULL before it is set to a value by your application it will generally work fine in the debugger but may crash as a release configuration depending on what you use that pointer for. That's a common thing I have run into.

Select running slow in prod but work fine in T-1

We have a query which run very slow on production database it is taking around 7 min to run.
While it is working fine on T-1 database which gets refreshed every night, here it takes around 3 seconds.
both the os version and database versions are same.
Database is also refreshed and have same data and statistics.

I can download firefox, but when I try to run it, windows 7 asks me to select a program type to run the *.exe file

I am running windows 7 with IE 10. I want to switch to Firefox as my browser. I am able to download the Firefox Setup 22 0 exe, but when I try to open or run it, windows prompts me to "choose the program you want to use to open this file". This happens with both the Firefox Setup Stub 22 0 exe (274kb) and the Firefox Setup 22 0 exec (21,239Kb). I can't find any program on Windows to run this exe. Same thing happens when I try to run the troubleshooter exe.

LSMW Fails when run in B/G but works fine in Front end..why?

i am trying to run a batch process by LSMW, my files are accurate, no problem with them, everything works fine but it fails when run in BG..works absolutely fine in front end. whats the diff with running in B/G?
same thing happens when i am trying to execute an RFC thru SAP JCO, it works when debugger is on (i guess switching on debugger is similar to running in B/G) but it doesnt work when debugger is off. but when i execute that RFC directly in se37 from SAP gui it works fine..fails when connected to JCO..
i am not having this issue with r/3 4.6c or mySAP ECC.6.0 i have this issue only in r/3 4.7.
has anyone faced the similar situtaion? pls help.

I am using J-free chart for rendering charts. My application is work fine with JRE6 but while using JRE7 i am getting following exception

Magic Mouse won't right click on files, but works fine otherwise. 10.6.8

My Magic mouse just suddenly seemd to stop right clicking on files. I can right click on blank sapces in finder or on the desktop and it gives me the usual drop down menu but as soon as I try and right click or ctrl+click on a file there's just nothing. Can't seem to find any similar problems on google. Any ideas?

Hi, yes. The right click would work at start-up until I click on 'always allow' for permissions for google drive, then it dissappears
Unfortunately I found no other workaround other than to switch to the other views (although I strongly dislike working in the other views). But I just use Drive in my internet browser when I do use it, so it's okay for me to uninstall it. Maybe it's something to contact google about so they can fix it on there side.

Data type change made to schema.xml of comments list which is part of blog site template is not reflecting in the existing site but working fine when new site is created.

I have created a blog site with the available site template few days back. Now we have the requirement of having the attachments in the body of the comments section.
So, I updated the schema.xml of the comments list available under ../templates/blog/lists/comments/schema.xml to have rich text for the Body field.
With this change, I created a new site and it was working fine. Change is reflected in the new blog site.
However, this particular change is not reflected in the existing blog site. Any changes made to the schema.xml is not effecting the old blog site.
Can anyone suggest what can be done for the change to be reflected in the old blog site?

According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to add attachments in the body of the comments section.
You can add the the Code inside the Default list pages. For more information, you can refer to:
Enable Attachment in SharePoint Blog post list and display the list Attachments
In addition, you can add an enhanced rich text field to the comment list and remove the body field. Then you can insert files into comments, too.

There are a couple of things I know that can cause this. One of which I have experienced myself.
Sometimes, your router may be faulty. This will usually effect all downloads unless they are very small files. I have experienced this myself, and found the only way to fix the problem is to replace it.
Another problem that could cause this is a virus. You should scan your computer for viruses using a trusted antivirus. The virus is sometimes scareware which claims you have a virus, but actually, the only virus is the scareware antivirus!
