JRun4 Updater 6 - IIS redirect hotfix installation

I'm having problems installing the "IIS 6.0 redirect response
truncation" hot fix provided on this page:
http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=5c9389c8
This is what is confusing me:
The download file is a zip file and
the instructions don't indicate where this should go or be
extracted to.
The zip file consists of directories
and I don't want to extract these to the wrong directory. Also, the
instructions only recommend backing up one file (wsconfig.jar).
Surely if I was going to replace multiple files/directories they
would recommend backing up the whole directory?
The zip file doesn't actually contain
wsconfig.jar but the install statement names this file. (plus
instructions say to back up this file). Shouldn't wsconfig.jar be
included in the zip file?
And (as expected) when I run the upgrade statement (step 4)
the installation fails with errors.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

have installed coldfusion 6.1 with butilt in server on my machine.
and when i tried to execute on my machine using

display me root directory of coldfusion. here xxx.xxx.0.20 is my
machine ip address. but when i tried to run it from other machines
which are in network it gives me error "could not find server"
can you help me out what is the problem? its urgent pls help
me out to solve this problem

Jrun4 Updater 6 Problem

Hi
I have deployed Jrun4 updater 6 to a Jrun4 instance running
on windows 2000. The jdk residing is jdk1.4
After installation, our jsp application is significantly
slower, with a simple min login page taking 1.5min to load. It
wasn't like this before the installation.
Does anyone know of the reason and solution. If not how can

One thing that's wierd, is that when I look at my application
logs, the action and jsp code is all finished executing in seconds,
but the page takes 1-2 minutes to appear.

JRun4 updater 6 with JDK1.6

When trying to compile a jsp page for the first time, the
container creates only a .java and .ct file in the WEB-INF/jsp
directory. Nothing out of the ordinary in the -err, -event, or -out
logfile.
This error occured when running JDK1.6.0, I changed to
JDK1.5.0_11 and everything seems to work OK.
I am running Windows Server 2003 with JRun4 updater 6 along
with hotfix 61237 (JRun hanging if a servlet calls another servlet
in init method) and hotfix 64008 (JSP compilation errors for
depreciated methods with JDK 1.5)
Can anybody else confirm this?
Any ideas?

JRun is not supported on jdk 1.6.

How do you verify hotfix installation for ColdFusion?

Specifically for hotfix APSB13-10 for ColdFusion 9.0.1, is there a way to verify the hotfix installation other than checking for the updated hf901-00009.jar file or other updated files? Is there a version change that can be seen in ColdFusion?

For CF 9.01, Go to {ColdFusion-Home}/lib/updates (for Server installation) or {ColdFusion-Home}/WEB-INF/cfusion/lib/updates (for Multiserver and J2EE installations) directory. If you have the hf901-00009.jar available there, that verifies you have the latest patch is applied.

Error publishing from Muse - "error updating device redirect setting"

After recent upgrade of Muse I am getting an error message when publishing. The pages are published correctly but there is an error which prevents the final completion of the process. message = "Error updating device redirect settings click resume to try again." it never works. What is up? is this a Business Catalyst error or a a Muse error?

I turned off the firewall, logged out from Creative Cloud and restarted my computer. After rebooting, I logged in to Creative Cloud, open Muse and connect to Business Catalyst without no problem,

Reset the printing system:

- Right (or control) click in the rectangle listing your printers and select Reset Printing System.
WARNING - this will delete ALL of your printers!
- Select the plus sign to re-add a printer. Select the Defualt tab on the top of the window. Look for the printer, select it and wait until the "Add" button becomes available. Click it."

The D610 didn't get out-of-the-box RAW support until Photoshop CC.
You can either upgrade to CC or use the DNG Converter to convert and open your DNGs in CS5.

Hi mnomi! Sorry to learn of the trouble you're running into with your new phone! Have you already switched the device via your My Verizon : http://vz.to/16lkVUY Once you have done this, and verify the sim card is inserted securely, the activation will begin. If the phone is stuck on the wheel and you cannot move forward, you may want to do an alternative reset. Please follow the below instructions:
1) Ensure the device is powered off.
2) Press and hold the Volume Down button (located on the right edge) until instructed to release in step 4.
3) Press and hold the Power button (located on the top-right edge) until the device vibrates (approximately 2 seconds) then release.
4) When the restore screen appears (exclamation mark), release the Volume Down button.
5) From the restore screen, press then release the following keys to initiate the reset process:
1. Volume Up button
2. Volume Down button
3. Power button
4. Volume Down button
*Allow several minutes for the process to complete (rotating gears appear on the display to indicate that the reset is in progress).

Downloaded x64 update for server 2012 R2 (KB2871777) - file downloaded is named Windows8-RT-KB2871777-x64.msu
When downloaded to server 2012 R2, upon launching the files, the message reads "Windows Update Standalone Installer"
"The update is not applicable t your computer"
If this is the wrong update please point me to the correct one - I cannot find another instance of this update anywhere.
I am unable to remove the active directory from this server, so I need to use this fix if at all possible, in order to use RDP.
I have tried every workaround I can find. The goal is to have remote users access RDP to run a remote session and access apps and files
on the server. we have Hyper-V enabled and have successfully deployed 10 RDP licenses to the license server) also on the PDC.
I read one post that suggested installing RD Connection Broker in one instance of a VM and AD DS in the other - not sure if that means we remove
AD DS from physical server. We only have one 2012 server (plus a server 2008 with Ad DS) and a server 2003. Trying to make this all work so we can deploy 10 remote desktop users.

KB2871777 appears to be for 2012 (non R2) only.
As to the other problem maybe this one helps.

Strange IIS redirect issues... leads to /jakarta/isapi_redirect.dll

This is quite strange... the majority of my IIS redirects are working, but this one for some reason is odd.
www.myserver.com leads to www.mynewserver.com no problem... works as it should.
www.myserver.com/about leads to www.mynewserver.com/about ... again, works as it should.
however, this is weird.
www.myserver.com/main.cfm leads to www.mynewserver.com/jakarta/isapi_redirect.dll
I'm trying to figure out why, how can I fix this so that
www.myserver.com/main.cfm leads to www.mynewserver.com/main.cfm

Maybe my instance of this might help clarify: I was working off of the following stack overflow link's accepted answer and also got the jakarta/isapi_redirect.dll issue. (I'm working with Windows Server 2012, IIS 8.5, and CF 11).

After some "change setting, restart sites, test, change setting back and change different setting, restart sites, test" combinations, I found that this combination worked: (It actually matches what Erik99 said to do, but I didn't understand I only needed to change a single application pool.)

Application pool's Advanced Settings > Enable 32-Bit Applications : False
Http_Redirect site (HTTP binding only, is a blank shell of a folder with no directories)

I just had this happen to me too – hung on "Completing Installation" for over an hour on the 10.9.2 update. Got confidence from this thread to restart (and things also seem fine for me), but I've had bad experiences doing that with similar system updates, so it certainly makes me more wary of applying Mac OS updates than I should need to be. I definitely expect more of Apple.

OAM-webgate IIS redirect

Hi,
We need to setup a redirect on IIS during maintenance work so that anybody accessing our OAM protected website will redirect to a static banner page, which will display a custom message.
When we try to configure it, we found out that OAM intercept the request first and after authentication it redirects to the static banner page.
Is there a way via which we can change the order of invocation of OAM-webgate after IIS redirect ? thanks

Do you mean that you have an authN success redirect that works but then the user can try to go where they want?
If so, try a authZ rule that captures everyone for everything and sends them to the banner page. You might try setting up a rule with timing conditions so that you can configure it ahead of time and have it kick in just for your work window.
Of course this all presumes that it is not your OAM system itself that is the subject of the outage...
