JspWriter not flush()ing bug? Getting double pages?

Question

We're having a bit of a problem here where it seems as if the JspWriter
          out object isn't getting cleared or flushed for whatever reasons. It may
          just be a legitimate IOException in the finally block of generated java
          files:
          } finally {
          if (_needToFlush) out.flush();
          What's strange though is how this call, near the top of the _jspService
          function, would EVER get an out object that isn't 'fresh.'
          javax.servlet.jsp.JspWriter out;
          PageContext pageContext =
          JspFactory.getDefaultFactory().getPageContext(this, request, response, null,
          true, 8192, true);
          out = pageContext.getOut();
          This is the only thing I've been able to think of.. that perhaps the
          pageContext.getOut() is retrieving a corrupt out object somehow.. The source
          of the html file returned is basically two copies of the page in on file.
          Anyone encounter anything like this before? Thanks-

What does your site definition look like? Are you using a
network server as
your local root folder?
