Just trying to get Licences before we upgrade our voice servers.
Can anyone explain the procedure to procure the licences. I know about the Cisco product upgrade tool. I understand that this will get me the software that I need but dose it have anything to do with licenses? If so how?

If Safari is getting very slow:
(Presumably you regularly empty your Safari cache by deleting the following file:

If you are using a single computer: Open System Preferences/Network. Double click on your connection type, or select it in the drop-down menu, and in the box marked 'DNS Servers' add the following two numbers:
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220
(You can also enter them if you click on Advanced and then DNS)
Sometimes reversing the order of the DNS numbers can be beneficial in cases where there is a long delay before web pages start to load, and then suddenly load at normal speed:

If you use a Router, make sure it has the latest firmware installed.
One reason for a slowness in page loading may be the 'DNS Pre-fetching' feature of Safari 5.x as is described here:

You can cancel DNS pre-fetching by going to Terminal and typing:
defaults write com.apple.safari WebKitDNSPrefetchingEnabled -boolean false
You have to restart Safari for it to take effect.
If Safari seems to hang for ages:
If you have a lot of tabs open and/or a lot of pages running Flash, Safari can sometimes 'hang', requiring a restart of Safari. This can often be inconvenient, and as it is rarely Safari itself that is hanging but merely one of its plug-ins, usually Flash, there is a way using Terminal to restart the plug-ins (without restarting Safari and losing your tabs) by quitting the WebPluginHost process:
Open the Terminal from the Utilities folder in /Applications and type
killall -9 WebKitPluginHost
Note that this command kills all Safari plug-ins, not just Flash. All plug-ins should start back up when you reload the page.
Then go back to Safari and refresh any pages that were using the Flash plug-in. This also fixes the Beachball of Death. Try this whenever Safari gets slow or freezes. The later versions of Flash 10.1 onwards appear to have improved the situation somewhat, but haven't completed eliminated it.

The system seems to have assumed I have Aperture 3 - I dont have any version of same. I am just trying to sneak in via a minimal approach to be able to process Raw files from Sony RX100 only. My main photo gear is Nikon but the little Sony is a gem, & I cant find a way yet, short of getting a new macbook pro. I'd rather get a new lens.
To be able to use the digital raw support, you need to install

But you need to upgrade at least to MacOS X 10.8.5.
Do you have a current version of iPhoto? Aperture is not necessary to use the raw support, but it has more features to fine-tune the raw developement. -
I was trying to update my Security Questions this morning but got 'Timed Out' I've just tried again to get into my security settings but the system does not recognise the information I'm putting in. Can anyone tell me how I can correct this problem. I can still log-in.

I'm able to do this, others say they need to input answers to their current security questions in order to make changes, I'm inclined to think its worth a try, you don't have anything to lose.
If that doesn't help you might try contacting Apple through Express Lane (select your country, navigate to iCloud help and enter the serial number of one of your devices) -

I have been trying to get just the basics working, and have spent almost all day, and now into the night, trying to get it to work....with no logical sucess.....
All I am trying to do, using VB.net 2008 with Crystral Reports 2008, is to disply my report on a web page using the crystalreport viewer in Visual Studio.
I created a report in CR2008, and during the process of creating the report I had to create a connection to the SQL Server 2005 database and set a parameter on my report to show the data for a single record from the database.
The issue is that the connection string I use in CR2008 is NOT the connection string that is to be used in the browser, so the first task I have attempted to do is to set new log in details for the report. I just want to use a trusted connection.
I have searched high and low on the internet, and taken a look at the samples provided on this site.
My code, as it is at the moment for setting the connection for the report at run time is at the end of this email: ( I got this code from the samples on this site)
The problem I have is if the integratedsecurity set to true(as I need it) then the myconnectioninfo.servername and database name are totally ignored. I have changed them to be just randon characters, which should result in the report not being able to connect, yet the report still works fine.
No errors are generated at all, so its very confusing. I know the code is being executed via breakpoints and stepping through the code, but it would seem that it makes no difference.
What am I doing wrong here.....

Couple of things:
1) Please make sure that you are using CR2008 with SP0 at least. Dlls versions should be 12.0.2000.0 and File version 12.0.1100.0.
2) Please make sure that the destination database can be accessed from that machine. You can create a UDL file or a new report hitting the target database to see if we can see data into it.
3) Please make sure that we are not changing the schema of the report.

The javac program is not in your system path. My recommendation is to 1) install a more recent version of Java, and 2) follow the instructions (to the letter) here: Your First Cup of Java

Trying to get PM to work with our upgrade process
We are trying to get Personality migration working properly in our
environment to migrate our users from 2000 to XP. We have been able to
get the files to migrate properly, but are having issues with the
application settings. We have installed PM from Zenworks 7 which is the
Computer Associates version. When we are setting up the template in the
application area, there does not seem to be anything there. For example,
how do we set PM to gather the IE settings but not gather the proxy
settings? Also, where would I find better documentation on this product?

i have a ipad nano i think it may be 2nd generation not real sure, but i can't seem to get it to turn on at all. i plugged it into a iphone 4 charger and am currently charging it on the computer. When i plugged it in the computer the computer was configuring and read that the instalation was working. So what could be my problem?

even while i send this, my problem report is running, and it still wont let me send, so that rules out internet, plus spare me the minior details, no i didnt hit send to apple. and im not seeing anywhere that is excepting manual problem reports
for app crashes invovling
things like:

with pc's that hex code tends to be a big issue and a big problem, so i wont treat mac products any differentthis doesnt even state that, my bluetooth crashed (why i think it crashed, i keep a bluetooth icon in my corner (gone) re-loading it was impossable cause it never left "loading..." from bluetooth system preferences), that i had to bring up force quit to refreash finder since everything else was crashing why not let finder crash lol since it didnt want to (cause i was missing all the icons on my desktop) (thank god for copy paste), and that the fact that my exterior harddrive usb was depowered, and my cellphone stoped its charge, so i unpluged both repluged, nothing no power to ether, at this point a copy paste is done by this point took forever, o and heres the best part after saving the text file my labtop freezes, also it doesnt appeer to say it crashed from the multi media screen but anyhow (learned not to use exerior harddrive with multi media seems to time out) so after labtop freeze's im thinking **** it has a large load on the memory great, so i let it sit for an hour, on labtop hasnt even changed (kinda feel like my labtop said F--- your bluetooth head set)
overall most of these problems exept for bluetooth and multimedia screen, never happen, when i say problems with bluetooth well it seems that bluetooth isnt very universal dont feed me bs about it, and i have to learn to work around the fact that i really cant use my multimedia screen (when i say multi meadia screen, easyest access to it is to use your apple remote that one), so luckly long ago i had my labtop boot up swichted to verbos (dont know what most of it means, but i just keep an eye out for the unusall, what shocked me was about 130 opraned files (norm is about 0, other than that, 1 or 2 here and there), it after that it looked like it was taking inventory of kernels that went on for about 1-2 mins which filled the screen, then it went to relinking files alot was said about unlinking and relinking and fails alittle hard to read that fast, then spouted off alot of file directorys names filled the screen several times over, then the end of it was pretty norm, log back in, desktop picture gone, easy fix, force quit finder fixes it, my extior harddrive and cellphone are reciving power, but extior harddrive usally has small program partion (using a dvd disk pic) that loads before the exterior harddrive does nether load, so i figure well my labtop just had a heart attack so give it a minute nope nothing, i go to disk utility to see if even reconizes nope as if it wasnt there at all great... itunes is at this point only partally funticol as long as i stayed away from the store other wise it force quits on its own (crash) and doesnt bring up error report, so i couldnt add anything new, in the end, most problems were sovled by restarting multple times, my oprened file count is still high its about 10 right now, everytime as of right now, everthing but itunes, and the quility level of the head set is back up, i would tell you all the settings i changed but, didnt keep record of them ( i was in a troubleshooting zone/panic if you can understand that at all), one thing i can tell is that it perged all my settings from privious so now i have to go back over time and reset them so things will work again, i feel like i have been set back by 3 years of hard work,
all in all everthing was peacefull until i got the motorokr s9-hd bluetooth headset, i find it hard to belive that a head set would cause daimino effect

Yesterday evening, 2 nice and genuine (well they certainly seemed it!) guys from BT knocked on the door, saying that we were going to be upgraded on our street to infinity by the 31st March 2011, and would I like to switch? AWESOME thinks me! and gets everything sorted...
Well I woke up this morning and thought...'better check', so I went onto the infinity website and checked for Milton Keynes -- due to be upgraded by March 31st - GREAT!, but phone line checker says 'no plans'
I have since rung BT FIVE times to try and get a straight answer from them, but I can't -- I have heard everything from you SHOULD be getting it right through to Def. not.
I only want to switch if I can get it, but if I can I do!!

There is only one Facetime Application available as a download from the App store. Fortunately, it is the one you need for your 10.6.8. MacBook. It is actually known as Facetime for Mac. If you go to the app store and search for Facetime, you should see it as an available download. The cost was 99 cents when I downloaded it last year. -

Make sure you have created a Project. The Share menu is for projects. If your clips are in an event, the Share menu will not be active.
