You have two devices....the Netgear and Time Capsule both configured to act as routers on the network. You only want one device providing this service.
I suggest that you configure the Time Capsule in Bridge Mode as suggested to eliminate the Double NAT error. Unfortunately, the Guest Network cannot be enabled in this setting.
No other adjustments are needed and everything else will operate normally...and the Time Capsule will still be providing your wireless network signal.
Once the Time Capsule is configured in Bridge Mode, it would be an excellent idea to perform a complete power cycle on the network to allow things to reset properly.
Just power off all devices on the network in any order that you want
Wait a minute
Start the Netgear device first, and let it run a minute by itself
Start the Time Capsule next the same way
Continue starting devices one at a time the same way until everything is powered backup
The other option you have is to "ignore" the error and the light will turn green. The Double NAT error may...or may not cause some issues for you down the line. The next time that you update the Mac operating system, or update the firmware in the Time Capsule, it may likely change the Time Capsule to Bridge Mode automatically.
If your Guest Network "disappears", you will know why this happened, and you will have to manually configure the Time Capsule again in Router Mode to provide DHCP and NAT services.
Double NAT can also cause a slow down of web page loading. You may...or may not....notice this.

If I put the ethernet cable in the WAN port of the capsule my book doesn't pick it up but when I put it in the LAN one it does. Then it tells me it needs the WAN connection I tried rebooting in various ways including modem but I can't get past 2 problems i.e. Problem1 - Double NAT so I click the Bridge Mode and then it asks me to place the cable in the WAN port. The WAN port is for the ethernet cable that is coming straight from your modem/router.
Plug your computer into any of the Lan ports.
Once you're configured (and in bridge mode) it won't matter after that, but leave those details for later. -
In setting up Time Capsule, it won't connect to wifi. In the status pop up of the Time Capsule under the Airport Utility it says "Double NAT". I dont' know how to fix that.
Thanks.This is one goofy modem that acts as if it is a router, so that is why the Double NAT issue is appearing.
There are two ways to tackle this:
1) If everything seems to be working OK, you have the option to click to "Ignore" the Double NAT error in AirPort Utility and the Status light will turn green.
Double NAT is usually not too serious of an error on a simple home network, but it will be a deal killer if you have an online gaming console and want to play games interactively on the Internet.
Your connection will slow slightly because of the multiple NAT firewall layers the signal must pass through, but you will likely not notice this in normal browsing, email, etc.
2) Reconfigure the modem to act in "bridge mode" only and then change the method that the Time Capsule uses to connecf from Ethernet to PPPoE service. There will be no NAT errors this way and this is what AT&T recommends....see link below.....but we are talking about some major surgery here.

About TM "Backup Drive is Full"
Alert TM only deletes older files if they have been deleted from the source and when TM needs space on the backup drive for a new incremental backup. Time Machine "thins" it's backups; hourly backups over 24 hours old, except the first of the day; those "daily" backups over 30 days old, except the first of the week. The weeklies are kept as long as there's room.
So, how long a backup file remains depends on how long it was on your Mac before being deleted, assuming you do at least one backup per day. If it was there for at least 24 hours, it will be kept for at least a month. If it was there for at least a week, it will be kept as long as there's room.
Note, that on a Time Capsule the sparsebundle grows in size as needed, but doesn't shrink. Thus, from the user's view of the TC it appears that no space has been freed, although there may be space in the sparsebundle.
Once TM has found it cannot free up enough space for a new backup it reports the disk is full. You can either erase the backup drive and start your backups anew or replace the drive with a larger drive. -

To do the setup, plug it in via ethernet.. do not try to setup over wireless.. Once it is setup you can plug the TC into the network and use wireless.
Most likely you will use the TC in bridge to an existing modem router.. but we cannot help as you have no details of the network setup.
I do recommend in the setup of the TC you use SMB type names.. that means, short, no spaces pure alphanumeric.. as later Mac OS do have issues with long names, spaces and that apple shocker, the apostrophe. -
My time capsule seemed to have given up so I have just got a net gear router, I have no problem connecting wirelessly but when I connect an Ethernet cable it says it's connected but pages will not load
Do a factory reset .. nothing will be deleted from your backups and you will be able to get access to them again.
The Factory Reset Gen1-4.
Unplug your TC. Hold in reset. and power the TC back on.. without releasing reset for about 10sec. When the status light flashes rapidly; release it.
Be Gentle! Feel the switch click on. It has a positive feel.. add no more pressure after that.
TC will reboot after a couple of minutes with default factory settings and will wipe out previous configurations.
No files are deleted on the hard disk.. No reset of the TC deletes files.. to do that you use erase from the airport utility. -
I am trying to sync an ipod touch 4TH gen. The capacity bar at the bottom shows I am adding 22.29g with 6.5 g free. Yet every time I try to sync it warns that there is not enough room an additional 868.9m is still needed. Does the capacity bar tend to be wrong or am I missing something?
Well when all else fails do a restore! This fixed my problem. Still don't know why the content bar differed, but what the hey!

You can backup 2 computers as long as the TC has enough space.
Your access might be restricted if you set it up with users.. you must log in with the correct user to get access to the files.
Otherwise you should be able to see both sparsebundles just with finder.

Disk Utility would be used for an internal hard drive on your Mac, or for a drive that was attached directly using USB or FireWire.
The Time Capsule is a network drive. Disk Utility cannot be used for this type of drive.
Open Macintosh HD > Applications > Utiltiies > AirPort Utility
Click Manual Setup
Click the Disks icon
Click the Disks tab below the icon
Click Erase
The "Quick Erase" option will only take a minute or so. This would be fine if you plan to keep the Time Capsule yourself.
If you plan to sell the Time Capsule, you would want to use a more secure erase, like "Zero Out", which will likely take 4-6 hours or so since everything on the drive will be replaced with zeros. -

My iphone 5 seems to be stuck in the horizontal view when I'm in the message mode. In all other views I can turn the phone 90 degrees and horizontal to vertical works fine. Not sure what the problem is.

As I was able to connect to my HD via an external monitor, in the finder, I went to:
1. Macintosh HD --> System --> Library --> Extensions
2. From there I moved all of the files that started with ADM and ATI (19 in total for me) to a folder on my desktop. (You will need to enter your admin password for this)
3. Next was a restart.
4. Then my display started working again.
5. After that, I transferred the files back into my Extensions folder.
6. I then did another restart with my fingers crossed and breath held. It worked.
Also... During the last few days of trying to find a fix, I restored a Mavericks backup to my computer away from Yosemite.
I'm very sure this problem occurred when I put my MBP to sleep, disconnected the power in its sleep, while something was connected to a USB port and unplugging the USB device (for me an iPhone charger) while the MBP was closed.

Just my opinion, but based on experience.
You are still eligible to purchase the longer term AppleCare warranty I think (3 years if my memory is correct). While it is an expense that you may never need, in my opinion, it is cheap insurance based on the cost to repair computers. I buy it and more than once it has paid for itself many times over. Not that Apple products are bad, but electronics do weird things at times.
