[KDE 4.10.1] - Nepomuk prevents umouting of removable devices

Question

update: the same thing is happening again on KDE 4.10.1.
This is something that has begun happening around KDE 4.9. The symptoms:
1) Plung-in a USB drive or a flash card with a few JPGs;
2) Open it with Dolphin;
3) Copy a few files to the hard disk;
4) Try to "Securely remove removable media", either from Dolphin or from the Task bar;
5) The system displays a message that the device can't be umounted because it is being used by some program.
6) Probing:
$ lsof /media/FCDRIVE (its label)
nepomukse 1141 user   30r   DIR   8,49    32768    1 /media/FCDRIVE
nepomukse 1141 user   31r   DIR   8,49    32768    7 /media/FCDRIVE/AVF_INFO
7) More probing:
$ ps aux| grep 1141

I've tried a few things, but none of them seems to work:
1) Suspend nepomuk indexing (from the Nepomuk/Strigi configuration icon)
2) Tell nepomuk to ignore all removable devices (from Desktop search, file indexing tab)
3) Manually indicate where nepomuk should search, making sure nothing outside /home should be indexed.
Either nepomuk ignores the configuration or there is something else entirely that I'm missing...
Does anybody have any hints?

I think the problem is back.
KDE 4.10.1 Archlinux  3.8.3-2-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT (standard packaged kernel and applications)
The system is still ignoring the "ignore removable media" option. Nepomuk still prevents the unmounting of the device and I can't even figure how to kill the nepomuk service (it respawns automatically, before I get the chance to umount the USB drive).
I'll try to change the nepomuk configuration files by hand...
