Keyboard mapping. Please Help!

Hello everybody,
I've seen that on older MB than mine (Mid 2007), the function keys (F1 to F12) are used differently.
I would be very interested to know how I can set the F7, F8 and F9 to respectively next song, play/pause and next song for iTunes.
I've been looking for a solution for a long time, that's why I am asking you Mac fanatics!

I just did what you said but it doesn't work - Previous song in Description and F8 in shortcut for example.
Maybe I forgot to say that I would like this shortcut to work at anytime. For instance, if I am online (with Safari) or typing a text (with Pages) I want F8, F9 and F10 to work so that I don't need to switch to iTunes to perform it.
When I added these three shortcuts, I couldn't check the Active box, that might be a reason...
Also I unchecked the other shortcuts which used F8, F9 and F10!

All the fields of target E1BPACGL09 is mapped from ACCOUNTGL node of souce and the field ITEMTEXT under node E1BPACGL09 should have the condition .if the CURRENCY_TYPE is 00 and if ITEMNO_ACC in the segments ACCOUNTGL and CURRENCY AMOUNT are equal then we need to create a E1BPACGL09 with ITEM_TEXT concatinating CURRENCY and other field XXXXXX and pass it to ITEM_TEXT at target.Please help me in this .
Is it possible through graphical mapping If so how please help .

KEYBOARD WRECKED - PLEASE HELP!

My dog got scared and jumped on my bed where my laptop was and then proceeded to rip off the M, Shift, alt option and the left hand apple keys. the space bar is also messed up - i have to slam it in order for it to work - it seems jammed. And that's not all. The apple key that i mentioned is missing - i can't find it anywhere! and i also can't figure out how to fit the keys back on (some little pieces of plastic also came off, i have them here.)
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!
do i need to take it into the apple store? b/c i can't. im leaving for another state tomarrow! can i fix the keys @ home? and can i somehow get a replacement apple key??

When my iBook G3 600 keys came off, it was a matter of trial and error getting back the scissor key mechanism. Sometimes you have to just fiddle with them until it feel right. I haven't had any problems with my iBook G4 1.42 keyboard.
In a worst-case scenario (like broken parts), you might want to simply replace the keyboard. Seems like an easy thing to do (follow the links for installation instructions).

Keyboard Bug - PLEASE HELP!

I've purchased my Z10 less than 1 week ago and I've noticed this problem the very next day. At first I assumed it was a small problem and it wouldn't happen often but it's been occuring EVERY DAY at least once and it's gotten really irritating now.
The virtual keyboard on the Z10 works perfectly fine, the buttons dont stick, spell check is working properly and I'm able to type with this keyboard with no problems, HOWEVER for some odd reason the keyboard STOPS functioning sometimes while I'm sending an SMS. The keyboard is still visible, I'm still able to press the buttons on the keyboard as they become highlighted whenever I do. However, no actual letter/character appears in the message box no matter how many buttons I press. The only thing which seems to temporarily fix this problem is restarting my blackberry Z10 device which can be very annoying and time consuming.
Please help me out with this problem as I have tried searching online for days and can't find a solution. Is this a problem with the Z10 software? will there be an update fixing this? am I the only one experiencing this problem?
Please note that I have not once dropped my phone, it's been kept in MINT condition with a case on it. Everything else works perfectly fine with my Z10, this is the only MAJOR issue

I just tried exactly what you said. Mis-spelled a word (easy for me) , hit the red underlined word, it popped up a window that said 'no suggestions', I tapped at the end of my sentence and carried on typing. No hang up at all.

I accedently spilled water over my keyboard! PLEASE HELP!

3 days ago, I was doing my work when I accidentally spilled sprite or water onto my iPads Bellkin ultimate keyboard for generation 2 iPad. It still worked, but 10 min later, it just stopped. I tried putting rice on the keyboard because rice is a fast water absorber, and only some keys worked, or the keys just flipped with other keys. I tried researching a cure, and the first step is usually take the batteries out, right, but this keyboard dosn't use batteries. Please help? Anyone?

Can you afford some new silica gel packets? By some and then shake the keyboard to get all the raw rice out of it and put the keyboard and the packets in a large baggie. Let it sit for 4 to 5 days in a cool, dry place like a cupboard. After that try it again.

Z10 Keyboard Issue, Please Help

I am hoping that there might be someone here who can help a new blackberry user with a keyboard issue.
The issue is simply that the keyboard will not type anything, whether in emails texts, ect. The phone seems to be working perfectly normally and the keyboard even lets me press keys and plays the keystroke sound, except that it does not actually type anything into any fields.
I have researched this issue and found that for most people this is an issue with the spell checker except my "ignore words with numbers" is and has always been set to "on". (I have even tried turning this "off" and restarting, but it doesnt make a difference)
I have tried restarting the phone (numerouse times), taking out the battery and even hard reboot without any change. The keyboard still does not work.
Magnify mode is set to "off".
I am on the Koodo network in British columbia, Canada and have the latest update (10.1.0.4181).
Anyone have a suggestion?

Did you reboot (pull the battery) while powered on?
If you open the web browser and type in a search, does that enter the typing?

TS1381 Keyboard woes, please help.

Help!!! My F key only works when I push shiFt. I cannot use the lower case F. Tried all oF the trouble shooting guides, no help. I even plugged in another Apple wired keyboard, and it doesnt respond either. BaFFled.

Care to share what they were other than what you already stated? Please detail ALL you have done so far in the way of troubleshooting? Need this info to avoid the been there done that scenarios.
Which Mac are you using? Are you using an Apple keyboard or a 3rd party keyboard?
It would help us to know which computer model you have, which OS & version you're using, how much RAM, etc. You can have this info displayed on the bottom of every post by completing your system profile and filling in the information asked for.
This will help in providing you with the proper and/or correct solutions.

Unable to repair disk (Partition map) Please HELP !

I have the weirdest problem with my 15" retina macbook pro.
Earlier today, OS X automatically rebooted after some kind of bug. I was then unable to start the computer, wether it was through recovery or as usual.
Started in Safe mode, Backed up with time machine, and restored system.
I'm now able to boot as usual but when I launch Disk Utility, I detects an error. Please find DU log at end of this message.
When I click Repair Disk, I continuously get the same error message (this disk needs to be repaired).
Any ideas how I can get this error fixed ?

If you have a backup (for both OS's: OS X and Windows) you might try with booting to single user mode and use fsck tool: Resolve startup issues and perform disk maintenance with Disk Utility and fsck - Apple Support
But if that would be my own mac i would probably create myself a Recovery USB Disk or Bootable OS Yosemite Installer Disk and repartition my Hard Drive and then reinstall OS X and restore data to it. If Disk Utility is reporting an issue with Partition Map Scheme i would be a bit anxious about my data stored on this drive...

Keyboard wedge - please help

Im struggling in getting the input from a barcode scanner. I dont want to show a textfield, I simply want to act on the input from the scanner.
I've tried keylistener wich works, but i devides the input into chunks. I've tried using a textfield and it works aswell, but I dont want to display the text (which I must inorder for it to work).
I want to use something similare to System.in but for swing/awt. Eg. when my barcode is scanned I want to catch the string and post it to server. If someone knows, please post some example code.

Did you disconnect the USB keyboard prior to your attempts in downloading the firmware?
Did you try to update from the EFI Firmware app which is located in the Utilities folder?
Have you tried repairing permissions?

Keyboard Issues, Please help!

Hi I'm using a Windows 7 laptop and I'm frequently having keyboard issues, especially when I'm playing video games, the keyboard would suddenly freeze up and stop working entirely, the temporary fixes that I've had so far are, locking then unlocking my
laptop, and restarting, its been happening really frequently and its really starting to get annoying, additionally, I'm finding that Windows Update itself is causing me a lot of issues, I had it on auto install whenever a new update comes up but then I'd start
getting audio problems, where the sound stops working entirely, and I have to go through a lot of trouble just to get it working again. Does anyone have ideas as to how I can fix this? Thanks!

It seems that you have two issues and they both related to the device. Are all of the keyboard , mouse and audio device USB devices?
please follow these steps to have a troubleshoot:
1.Run the built-in troubleshoot tool to have a diagnostic. Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Troubleshooting\Hardware and Sound
2. Update the device driver or reinstall the device from the Device Manager .If it is possible ,you may need to manually download the driver from the manufacturer website.
3.If the issue persists, update the chipset , and then reinstall the USB Controller from the Device Manager.
4.Reinstall the audio driver from the device manager or manually download the driver from the manufacturer website, too.
5.To verify whether this issue is caused by the device as Rick Dee said ,it is recommended to plug in the device to another machine to have a check if it is possible.

Keyboard Disabled Please Help!

Does Adobe Encore 2.0 have a function of disabling the keyboard?
I am new to Encore so I started playing around with it. But now, my keyboard doesnt work in Encore. Weird thing is that my keyboard can still work in Premiere, AfterEffects, Photoshop.
In Encore, I cannot use the space bar, delete button and any of the shortcut keys.
Can anyone help??

Keyboard problem - please help

I have a problem with my keyboard, whenever I press the following buttons this happens...
1 - Volume turns up
2 - 2`
3 - 3§
4 - 4]
5- 5[
6- 6=
7 - this button is fine
8 - this button is fine
9 - cursor moves
Sometimes it works fine, but then i have the same problem. I'm not sure how to fix it? Every other button works perfectly fine!

I would be concerned too some of the keys on my keyboard were not working as expected. I found an article that can assist with isolating and troubleshooting issues with the built in keyboard. I recommend following the steps under the section titled, "Some keys don't work as expected" in the following article:

Error in executing deployed mapping.please help

when executed the mapping,it display information:
"ORA-04063: package body "OWB3.test" has errors
ORA-06508: PL/SQL: could not find program unit being called
ORA-06512: at line 1"
I don't kown what it means?

Getting These '?' Signs on Keyboard! #PleaseHelp!

Have you tried the standard fixes:
- Reset. Nothing will be lost.
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory defaults/new iPod
Also go to Settings>General>Keboard>International Keyboard and checl to see if English is specified.
