Keynote graph or drawing in pages

is there an easy way to select a graphic in keynote straight into pages? simply select in keynote and copy paste in pages doesnt work out fine. If I export the keynote graph to PDF and then insert in pages it looks good.

if I import my book into Pages into a book template, will the document automatically format itself, or will I have to go through the entire thing to make the corrections?
It will partially format itself but you will have to go through the entire thing. Scrivener is designed to export in a format that can be used by another word processor or page layout program so that you don't have to retype all the text. However the final formatting is a manual process.
Exported output from Scrivener will most likely be in RTF format (you have other options). It will have some rudimentary character formatting that will survive when you insert it into a Pages document started off one of those templates. The text will be properly flowed into the template, all your paragraph breaks will be in the right place, bold text will be bold etc However Pages is not going to be able to automatically understand which parts of your document are headings, which is body text etc. You will need to manually go through the document and apply the relevant Paragraph styles from the template you choose.
Styles make this task pretty quick so it isn't as daunting as it sounds. Just mark or click in the paragraph and then choose the style from the menu.
As I tried to indicate in my earlier post, the RTF output of Scrivener may be good enough for a publisher. Authors here report that they don't really care about fancy formatting.
However if you do want the layout to look fancy, you will still have a bit of work to do.

How can I embed a Keynote presentation on a web page?

I created a Keynote presentation using Keynote version 6.5 (OS X Yosemite). I found the "export as html" option, which creates an entire web page named index.html. I opened that web page in Dreamweaver, but I'm not talented enough to figure out how to turn that page into a proper index.html page, including the graphics, background, and links (etc.) that I want on my sites home page.
I have also tried to embed the presentation onto a web page that I've already created, but I can't figure out how to do that, either.
Can someone tell me if it's possible to embed a custom-sized Keynote presentation onto a web page and, if so, how?
OR can you tell me how to edit the page that Keynote created when I open it up in Dreamweaver?
I think the former would be easier, given what I've seen when I try to do the latter.
I have been using Dreamweaver for many years - since before Adobe bought it - and the site I'm currently updating is already in Dreamweaver. That's why I'm asking about Dreamweaver (if you were curious).
Of course, I've probably not provided all the information you would need to help me, so please ask questions. I won't be offended if they point out my ignorance!

The only workaround I found was to use the desktop version of Keynote, which allowed me to export the presentation as a set of images to iPhoto. From there, they show up as an album and can be brought back to the iPad, and then played as a looping slide show in the pictures app. It worked perfectly.

Display more than one Graph in the same page along with report datails

Hi,
I have to display 3 lines out put along with the 3 GRAPHs below corresponding to the 3 lines in the same page of a the report output. .How do i achieve this? The function modules like GRAPG_2D, GRAPG_3D brings the graph in separate pop up, but I want all the 3 graphs in the same page along with the some text above those graphs (ie my report details in 3 lines).
Could you please let me know how to achieve this?

I am trying to export a pie graph(displayed in jspx page) into a PPT file using Apache POI. But I am facing a problem when I calling the below mentioned code from a button.
Code:

The above mention code is working and a blank ppt file is created when I am running the code from a standalone java class. But when it is called from button in an adf project code is not throwing any exception but the ppt file is not created.

sorry but the code snippet alone doesn't help to solve the problem. Did you debug the code to see if it works? My assumption is that the file gets written, just not in the directory you are looking at

Get a graph to draw

I am using the data visualization tools tag library and manually setting the data via the tabularData attribute.
Here is the relevant portion of my JSF (jspx) page:

As far as I can tell from reading many other threads, I believe I've done all that part right. The problem is that it will not actually display the graph. No error messages are displayed or logged either.
Is there another command that I need to run to actually get it to create the image?
I've also tried this through binding and using the setTabularData method too, but to no avail.
My Web application has the following libraries in it. Am I missing some?

I figure I'm missing something simple, but I just can't figure it out. I've also tried it in both FireFox and IE, but neither one display a graph. The only error I get is something about ActiveData, but I believe that isn't relative here.

Can't print a graph on the whole page in landscape

Hello!
I have XY graph that I want to print on the whole page in landscape orientation (paper A4).
On the screen the graph is small, so I do resizing, appending image to report, and then printing.
After sending it to the printer I get preview (from the printer software) and see that the graph uses only approx. 5/6 of the page in the width, in other words the height of the graph takes the whole height of the page (21 cm) and the width of the graph leaves 5 cm of the page unused.
I tried to change the width and the height of the plot area to get proper ratio, but in vain.
If I set the height of the graph too large it goes beyond the page, but whatever I write to the width I always get 5 cm of the page unused on the right side. (not including 1 cm of the margin).
Note: surely, if you set small width you can get more space of the page unused, I'm talking about increasing the width of the graph.
Any ideas?
See attached for the vi. I tried to save it for 7.1 version but it can't, so you'll need LabView 8.0 to check it.
Also in attached you can find the page preview I get before it goes to printer.

It could be that you would need to install the entire LabVIEW 8.0.1 update rather than just the updated Run-Time Engine (RTE). Here is a link to the 8.0.1 update. If you download and install this version, you can then use the utility to mass compile or compile when you are prompted.

How can I get back the Styles Drawer in Pages 5?

The Pages Styles Drawer allowed the quick highlighting/assignment ot a style to text. In long complex documents the open drawer made Style assignment quick and easy. NO MORE. Unless I am missing some command the Styles Drawer has been replaced by a new and much slower multistep clic/dropdown/click process. Is there any workaround to this problem? Help!

If you want to open a new tab in a certain url (like www.google.com or another site) go to [http://kb.mozillazine.org/About:config about:config] find/type '''browser.newtab.url''' , double click on it (or right click on it and select modify) and type the url you want. Every time you open a new tab you open it in that url/site.

How to enter text on a drawing in pages

I want to make a triangle with horizontal lines across and text inside. Kind of like Mazlows (sp??) hierarchy of needs pyramid. Is there a way to draw a shape, then write text over it?
I'm able to make a triangle, however, everytime I attempt to place a line or draw a line over the triangle the triangle either diappears or they are just lined up next to each other.

My first thought was to use the triangle shape instead of creating a triangle from lines. In Pages you can write not just in the text boxes but also in the Shapes. You can change the colour from standard green to white or what you like. You can change the triagle form by dragging a corner or tilt but press the Cmd button and drag a corner.

Flash exported from Keynote and embeded in iWeb page not working in IE

using the "html snippet" widget and swfobeject code generated here: http://www.jeroenwijering.com/?page=wizard I placed a swf file generated by Keynote in an iWeb page.

Printing Issues: Keynote only prints first two pages of presentation

I am trying to pring an 11 page Keynote presentation on an HP 4600 color laser printer. It will only print the first 2 pages.
If I convert the presentation to PowerPoint, it prints all ages correctly. If I print a word or pages document, all pages print correctly.
What gives with keynote?

It is likely that there is something funky with one of the images on the page. The next step would be to delete the images one at a time to see which one it is. Once you have isolated it, you could try saving it in a different format (e.g., TIFF, or JPEG, or PNG), and see if that solves the problem.

I want to generate a graph dynamically in my jsp page, depending on the data in my database. Please help how can i do this and the possible ways to do this.

What you need to do is to represent the graph as an image on some part of the page, using an IMG tag.
That means you need a second transaction to fetch the image data, and you need to tie the two together.
The standard approach is to use a servlet to deliver the image, and the src URL generated on your HTML output has some kind of token to identify which graph is to be delivered. So the intial transaction creates a indetifier of some kind, which is likely used to identify image data accessed from session context. Then, when the browser interprets the HTML, it sends a request to the server for the image, which the servlet then generates based on the identifier.
If you use JFreeChart much of this stuff is available from the library.

Open a graph in a new page by clicking on it

I want to be able to open the graph by clicking on it in a new page. I've done some searching in the forums, but couldn't come up with anything that was this specific. If this isn't something that is possible, that would be nice to know as well, then I can move on. I can upload my VI as well if somebody wants to look at it.
