I went through the tutorial and the problem is when I click on "Tools" the edit option does not come. Only "Export", "Create" or "Send" pdfs.

If I were you, I would reinstall itunes. BACKUP ALL YOUR ITUNES MEDIA TO AN EXTERNAL STORAGE DEVICE BEFORE DOING THIS PLEASE.

Blank screen in itunes store-please help im not very technical and when i click on my itunes app the screen is blank how can i fix this please?
See if any of the following fix it.
Try logging out of your account on your phone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and tap 'Sign Out' on the popup and then log back in.
If that doesn't fix it then try closing the iTunes store app via the phone's multitasking bar and see if it works properly when you open the app : double-click the home button to open the taskbar and then swipe or drag iTunes from there up and off the top of the screen to close it, and the click the home button to close the taskbar.
A third thing to try is a soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot. -

"Rules" not functioning for organization of Mail. Please advise.
In order to make my life easier, I've set up some rules to help organize my mail. For example, I set up a rule that says:
If the From contains [email protected]
If the To contains [email protected]
Move message to the folder entitled myfriend.
This rule works for all incoming mail, but does not work for sent mail. Why not? And what do I need to do so that all email, either recieved from that person or sent to that person always ends up in the same folder (i.e. the "myfriend" folder which is located in my Imports folder, meaning it is taken off the mail server)?

First of all the update from 10.4.3 to 10.4.4 did not do any updates to Mail, so that should not be an issue. Your short description of the Mailboxes folder does not immediately seem out of line, but difficult to tell, yet.
If anything has taken place to move any folders and mailboxes around, then Rules can sometimes lose track of the target mailbox -- have you moved anything, either in the Sidebar of the Mail window, or using the Finder?
If your mailboxes, or at least some of them, originated in Panther, I want you to read the article at the link below, and then get back to me with some observations, before attempting any changes:

This issue of leftover files applies not only to mailboxes you have previously created (which are in the Mailboxes folder the article mentioned) but can also apply to those mailboxes in account folders created prior to the upgrade to Tiger.
Also, please report the size of each file or folder. Do not, however, try to list the files that are within the folder named Messages, that is found in each and every mailbox.

Thank you for taking out time to help. I have thousands of emails in gmail which I keep on deleting. I have configured thunderbird for this email account and it is sunchronized and upto date. If I delete the emails in gmail now, I do not want them to get disappeared from thunderbird. Basically, whatever the emails I delete in gmail and it's trash should not be deleted from thunderbird. You are remotely viewing the folders and emails on the server.
You subscribe to see folders. but this only downloads emailsheaders and downloads the emails upon selection to a temp cache for viewig. They are not stored in your profile.
If you also synchronise then a copy of the server folder is downloaded and stored in the Thunderbird Profile, but synchronised folders keep synchronising so that the server and TB folders are the same.
IT does not matter whether you delete emails via Thunderbird or webmail, you are deleting from the same folders. So, if you delete off server and then discover it has been deleted from Thunderbird, everything is working perfectly. -

Go to the General -> Restrictions settings and see if the App Store has been disabled there.
If not, try resetting the Home Screen: General -> Reset -> Reset Home Screen Layout

One day while trying to run the firefox application a box popped up and said:
