  • Assert keyword reference in javafx

    I've been looking for a javafx webpage that will get me
    the list of keywords in javafx 1.2. However, this link:
    http://openjfx.java.sun.com/current-build/doc/reference/JavaFXReference.html
    doesn't seem to work anymore. I did find this one:
    http://jarfiller.com/reference/javafxscript/
    Which has a full page of examples on how to use the keyword assert.
    So I tried this in netbeans:
    package javafxapplication19;
    assert(true);
    But this will not compile either with Netbeans 6.8 or javafxc 1.2.3.
    Question is where can I get a list of javafx keywords on the net?
    And what am I doing wrong with my simple javafx program?
    Tom

    Ah, openjfx is back up. The [language reference|http://openjfx.java.sun.com/current-build/doc/reference/apas01.html] has this list of reserved words:
    {noformat}abstract after and as assert at attribute before bind bound break{noformat}
    {noformat}catch class continue def delete else exclusive extends false finally{noformat}
    {noformat}first for from function if import indexof in init insert instanceof into{noformat}
    {noformat}inverse last lazy mixin mod new not null on or override package{noformat}
    {noformat}postinit private protected public-init public public-read replace return{noformat}
    {noformat}reverse sizeof static step super then this throw trigger true try tween{noformat}
    {noformat}typeof var where while with{noformat}
    Hm, seems somewhat out of date.
    Good point about the difference between "reserved words" and keywords that are
    not reserved. I didn't know about this. However, the file {color:#ff00ff}v4Parser.g{color} right
    next to the file {color:#ff00ff}v4Lexer.g{color} I referenced above has a nice explanation of
    the difference between reserved words and non-reserved keywords. As usual, the
    source code seems to be the definitive documentation.
    Note, you can still use the double angle bracket syntax to use even reserved words as identifiers,
    for example, {color:#ff00ff}var <<typeof>> = 1{color}. Why anyone would want to do this, I'm not sure.
    I still don't know what {color:#ff00ff}typeof{color} does. Yes, {color:#ff00ff}invalidate{color} was added after 1.2. I'm
    not sure what its status is though. Not that I'm trying to keep secrets. If it's merely
    experimental, though, I wouldn't want to encourage people to use it. Sufficiently motivated
    individuals are welcome to look through the source code. :-)

  • Broken Links Index Keyword

    Hello All,
    I have a bunch of index keywords that show up under Broken
    Links and I can't seem to resolve them. RoboHelp help has a topic,
    "Removing topic references from keywords" but their procedure
    doesn't work for me. If anyone has figured out a fix, let me know.
    M.S

    Well, I think I got it figured out. This may not be the best
    way, but I'll share it with the community anyway in case anyone
    else needs it.
    1. In RoboHelp go to Tools > Reports > Broken links.
    2. Save the report to a text file.
    3. Close RoboHelp (it'll crash later if you don't)
    4. Find the .hhk file in the project folder (back it up
    before starting)
    5. Open the .hhk file with WordPad.
    6. Copy part of the "Missing Topic" path from the report and
    search for it in the .hhk file.
    7. When you find the keyword reference, delete everything
    between the <li><object
    type="text/sitemap"></object> tags.
    8. Save the .hhk
    Note: after doing this, I had to restart my computer before I
    could open a topic in RH without it crashing.

  • Adobe Form - Reference Object

    Hi All
    Could someone please explain to me what the "Reference object" in Adobe For used for - Thanks

    Hi Liem,
    It is well explained with examples in the life cycle designer help. Go to help(By pressing F1 or from menu) and search with keyword "reference object" in designer help. You will find solution to your query. The designer help is much suitable for this query.

  • Help needed in BPC Script

    Hello Experts,
    I have a requirement to migrate the BPC 7.5MS version scripts to BPC 10 NW Script.
    When I try to copy the existing working BPC 7.5 MS script to NW Script, I get validation error as BPC 10 script doesn't understand few lines.
    Below are the lines which are getting errors.Could you please help in giving me the equivalent BPC 10 NW commands for below lines
    1)*MEMBERSET (%ACT%,"Descendants([ACCOUNT].[H1].[PNC_GPW],999,leaves)")
    2)*Calculate_Difference = 0
    3) Will BPC 10 accept time=next(11) command? It is not giving any validation error
    I am also attaching the existing BPC 7.5MS script in this thread as below.
    Thanks,
    Senoy

    Hi Senoy,
    It's practically impossible to "migrate" MS scripts to NW - so many differences, each script have to be rewritten with understanding of business logic (not just script translation).
    1)*MEMBERSET (%ACT%,"Descendants([ACCOUNT].[H1].[PNC_GPW],999,leaves)")
    Something like:
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET ACCOUNT AS %ACT%=BAS(PNC_GPW)
    2)*Calculate_Difference = 0
    Not supported, always full value is send but delta is written
    3) Will BPC 10 accept time=next(11) command? It is not giving any validation error
    next is not supported, TMVL(11,%TIME_SET%) can be used in some cases.
    And please, read the standard help for script logic in BPC NW 10. All supported keywords are mentioned here:

  • How do I set the Home Page for a newly open tab using the File Tab Menu??

    When I open a new tab, is there a way to set the home page the new tab will use when it is opened, or will new tabs always be opened as blank pages?

    I have new windows opening when I click on a link. Or when I click on the FF-Icon. New windows are the default setting.
    When a new window opens, I get a Google home page and can instantly type in a search phrase.
    With the above in mind, sometimes I want to keep search classes in the same window. In a sense I'm using the Window with no tabs, to generate a tab by using the File Tab option.
    When a Tab is selected where new windows will launch a new page, and not a new tab, the process of forcing a new tab onto the window will produce a tab page that is Blank, and the new tab label description displayed in the tab area shows the words "New Tab". That tab's URL address bar is blank. Zip - nothing displayed.
    When a blank page tab appears, I click on the HOME button you helped me remodel, and the "New Tab" description in the tab label area changes from "New Tab" to "Google".
    My question was to ask, if there was a way I could do something to make FF4 do that Home page assignment on its own. In the early FF days I found you could sometimes go into the bowels of FF, find some form of INI or SETTINGS type file, look for a Keyword reference that would tell FF to do something different, and Viola, emotional issue resolved. In this case, I'm trying to "Gild the Lilly" by asking if you, or someone else might have a rabbit they can pull out of their hat, just like you did when you helped me move my Home button, and have that rabbit show me how to do something that default FF-Options section doesn't support.
    Did I do a better job of explaining the issue this time?
    Thanks again for the response.

  • Change subject of Email received

    We are now using QuickMail of Outspring and do not want to change to Mail, mainly due to the following problem of Mail:
    Many of the Emails we receive do not reflect the keywords we use internally in our company, such as ordernumber, enquiry number, etc.. In Quick Mail we can easily add that number to the Emails received and file accordingly. Consequently we can easily find all correspondence on the relevant internal keyword/reference number by just typing that reference in the search machine of Quick Mail.

    BTW, what is your question?
    All Automator actions are application specific, so if you are looking for something to work QuickMail, you need to see if the developer has released any actions for it or contact them directly and ask them to.

  • I'm embarrassed to even ask this, but: what does 'this' refer to?

    I am losing the plot trying to Google 'this'; it just isn't working. BUT I did find a description by looking at the ActionScript 3.0 documentation index. http://help.adobe.com/en_US/FlashPlatform/reference/actionscript/3/statements.html#this
    Here it is:
    "A reference to a method's containing object. When a script executes, the this keyword references the object that contains the script. Inside a method body, the this keyword references the class instance that contains the called method."
    Soooo, to access a property or method from a method within the same class, you would type this: this.method() or this.property, right? I'm pretty sure it works without 'this.', but it's confusing me because I learnt PHP before ActionScript, and you always require 'this ->' in this circumstance.
    Also, what the aubergine does 'this' refer to when used from the main timeline (not within a class)?
    Post script:
    Sorry about using the word 'this' so much……… this.

    1. I think Ned's explanation linking this keyword to timeline is limiting because timline can be an attribute of MovieClip instance only whereas this keyword refers to ANY AS3 object's instance scope. Main clue is the word INSTANCE. So, this keyword has much wider meaning and usage.
    2. Although this is true that one of the conveniences of this is to use it as an associative array, I wouldn't say it is the main usage. In my opinion, in well designed OOP applications the is not need for associative array syntax because there are many more efficient approaches to reference to properties.
    "I won't be needing to use the 'this' statement to access other methods and properties from within the same class."
    You should reconsider.
    Here are examples when this is very useful:
    A. Methods parameters vs instance properties/methods naming conventions.
    In this example method's parameter and instance property have the same name but there is no confusion:
    private var width:Number;
    public function changeWidth(width:Number):void {
        this.width = width;
    B. Names of instance property and method's variable are the same. Again, references are clear:
    private var myVariable:String;
    private function doSomething():void {
        var myVariable:String = "BLAH";
        this.myVariable = "ANOTHER BLAH";
    Also, although AS3 doesn't support overloading, one can call methods scoping them to either this or super.
    override protected function myFunction():void {
    private function callMyFunction():void {
        this.myFunction();
        super.myFunction();
    In addition, when static vs instance propertied/methods are used - one cannot scope static ones to this which sometimes is useful as well.

  • How to call category dimension in run logic

    hai all,
    i has an senario that i has to derive the category in datamanager prompt.
    i has to pass the value into the run logic
    how can i pass the catagory value which is derived in the datamanagar prompt to RUNLOGIC syntax
    can any one help me out...
    thanks,
    Rajesh

    Hello Rajesh,
    i'm not sure that I've understand your question, but if you want to pass the category from the package to the lgf file you must add a prompt instruction to the package f.e. PROMPT(SELECTINPUT,,,"Please select category",%CATEGORY_DIM%) and in the script logic refers to it using
    XDIM_MEMBERSET CATEGORY=%CATEGORY_SET% this works with all the dimensions, just substituting category with the other dimension names.

  • Referencing parent object in a annonymous inner class

    so i have this on some class i wrote:
    public class MyClass {
    randomButton.addActionListener(new ActionListener() {
         public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e)
              //refernce the object instanciated from MyClass somehow.
              //the this keyword references the actionlistener here., super.this doesnt work

    what you can do is that you can store an instance of
    the MyClass it self inMyClass
    example
    public class MyClass {
    private MyClass instance = this;
    ...then, in the inner class, just refer to instance
    rather then using this.This is not a good advice. It's better to do what
    ehodges says. You should use the name of the
    outerclass followed by .this. E.g. MyClass.this in the
    example above.

  • How to reference a class without using the new keyword

    I need to access some information from a class using the getter, but I don't want to use the new keyword because it will erase the information in the class. How can I reference the class without using the new keyword.

    c.getFirstName();

    c.getFirstName();No.
    Using new does not erase anything. There's nothing to erase. It's brand new. It creates a new instance, and whatever that constructor puts in there, is there. If you then change the contents of that instance, and you want to see them, you have to have maintained a reference to it somewhere, and access that instance's state through that reference.
    As already stated, you seem to be confused between class and instance, at the very least.
    Run this. Study the output carefully. Make sure you understand why you see what you do. Then, if you're still confused, try to rephrase your question in a way that makes some sense based on what you've observed.
    (And not that accessing a class (static) member through a reference, like foo1.getNumFoos() is syntactically legal, but is bad form, since it looks like you're accessing an instance (non-static) member. I do it here just for demonstration purposes.)
    public class Foo {
      private static int numFoos; // class variable
      private int x; // instance varaible
      public Foo(int x) {
        this.x = x;
        numFoos++;
      // class method
      public static int getNumFoos() {
        return numFoos;
      // instance method
      public int getX() {
        return x;
      public static void main (String[] args) {
        System.out.println ("Foo.numFoos is " + Foo.getNumFoos ());
        System.out.println ();
        Foo foo1 = new Foo(42);
        System.out.println ("Foo.numFoos is " + Foo.getNumFoos ());
        System.out.println ("foo1.numFoos is " + foo1.getNumFoos ());
        System.out.println ("foo1.x is " + foo1.getX ());
        System.out.println ();

        System.out.println ("foo1.numFoos is " + foo1.getNumFoos ());
        System.out.println ("foo1.x is " + foo1.getX ());
        System.out.println ("foo2.numFoos is " + foo2.getNumFoos ());

  • BAPI Object Reference for Customer Accounts and Open Items

    I am building an application for a client for Purchase Card Processing using Visual Studio 2005.   I am able to use VS 2003 to create the necessary object to get the Customer List, Customer Details,  and the list of Customer Open Items.
    I am totally new to SAP,  and need some help to figure out my next steps.
    1.  What call(s) will return an Open Item (Document) given the Document Number, along with the individual line items.  With that info I can post a Level 3 transaction and get an authorization code.
    2.  What is the process to post the purchase card authorization,  essentially a payment,  back to SAP for the open item.
    3.  What is the best source for reference details on BAPI?
    Thanks in advance for any assistance.

    Hi Scott,
    the questions are quite context specific to your application, the answers for which i am not aware at this point
    to pick up the 3rd one :
    >>3. What is the best source for reference details on BAPI?
    transaction 'bapi' in a SAP system, or se37 and a search with keywords like 'docnum' or 'openitem' or similar variations might yield some results
    also when you connect to a SAP system using vs2003, you will get a hierarchial view in the server explorer, that is also a simple way of finding bapi's that could be useful to your cause
    with respect,

  • How do you use Keywords?

    I'm curious how you use Keywords. I started to go into my pictures today and add them. I went first to the first Event I had and looked for any pictures of my kids. I was going to make my Keywords pretty broad. If they were aged 0 - 5, then that was my Keyword. But, then I had a picture of a brother and a sister, where the brother was 8 and the sister was 4. What to do? Then I changed it from 0-5 to 0-10. I've tagged about 300 of them that way, but now I'm wondering if it's worth the time. I know I can also use multiple Keywords, but that just seems to be a lot of work.
    For reference, I name all my pictures when I input them. I use the following format: name of person - event (if pertinent) - town - year, so that might come out as Chip - Halloween - Golden - '08. That way, I find it pretty easy to find whatever I might be looking for.
    Do you use Keywords? If so, how?
    Thanks.
    Chip

    The BEST system of keywording is the system you will actually execute. So your priority should be figuring out what you are willing and happy to do on a fairly regular basis.
    Since it already sounds like your system is a hassle, I don't know that your keyword needs to reflect the age---you can easily search on KW: Kids and Date Range: (whatever the young years would be) after the fact, and save yourself trouble while tagging. Or set that up as a Smart Album, and then once you've done the "okay when the kid was 0-4 that would be the dates 1990-1994", you don't need to do it again.
    Certainly, though, you should be open to multiple keywords on the same photo--that's the power of keywords, to categorize the same photo in multiple aspects.
    I don't bother naming my photos, but unlike TD, I create a lot of smaller events and name them pretty carefully, similar to your photo names. I use keywords for recurring themes, like Me, Family, Friends, Rivers, Flowers, or places I visit multiple times. Things with a beginning and ending, I lean on the event name to track, eg "Christmas Eve, Christmas--Opening Gifts, Christmas--Dinner, Christmas--Hanging Out".
    I find it very important to use the shortcuts, so that I can skim through 300 pix from a national park and just hit f to apply the Family keyword, m to apply the Me keyword, w for pictures of water, l for pictures of flowers, etc. (The keyword pane must be open to use the shortcuts)
    I tend to set up a smart album based on a keyword about the same time I set up a keyword, so that the list of smart albums helps me remember what I am doing with keywords. Also, thinking in terms of which albums you want to be browsing helps figure out how you need to keyword the photos--when your relatives or friends come over, what do you want to show them?

  • Sharing pics and their keywords with others

    G'day all,
    I have been using iphoto for a long time now and like the new version very much.
    I work on a sailing ship and get a lot of photos, some of my own and a lot from others. quite often I have to share them with others i.e. for press, graphic designers, and previous crew who want photos of their trip. So i export a lot of photos and often to non apple users. I also have to find photos with reference names rather the dates or events
    For this reason I try to label photos with many references such as names of people, locations, voyage numbers, copyright, and even with names of parts of the ship. (we are a museum replica so artefacts and parts of the ship are used for graphic design or press photos). So if Bill rings me and wants a disk of photos with Bill in them, I want to be able to search Bill, burn them to disk, and when he looks at them he will also see the reference names in the title
    I love the simplicity and speed of the new keywords feature, but was wandering if that same feature could be applied to the titles of photos. I only seem to be able to export photos to non iphoto users with the titles. As you can imagine, entering all of this information into the titles is a bit laborious.
    I hope there is a way, if someone could let me know that would be great. Maybe there is another program like aperture that can do it.
    if there isn't, then could this please be considered for future upgrades. data basing photos is important, but so is sharing the information with others even if they are not able to be lucky enough to buy apple.
    Sorry this is a bit long winded. this is my first time. I will keep them shorter from now on.
    Seeyinthings

    Welcome to the apple user discussions
    I want to be able to search Bill, burn them to disk, and when he looks at them he will also see the reference names in the title

  • How do I find all pictures with no (empty) keyword ?

    I have decided to import all my pictures into LightRoom.
    A lot of my older pictures are not registered with any keywords :(
    - only with IPTC location information.
    My plan is to systematic go through all my pictures and add relevant keywords to all pictures - so my old pictures become as searchable as my newest pictures.
    Some of my old pictures has keywords some has not.
    How do I in Lightroom - find all pictures with no keywords?
    I have tried to use the Find tool - but don't see any options to search for "Empty/missing" keywords.
    Also I would like to find all pictures with few keywords and in step II add additional keywords to these pictures.
    Any ideas on how to make a find all pictures where number of keywords is less than X inside or outside LightRoom.

    > I also did think of the SQL idea.
    > If I find a way of doing this I will repost my findings.
    Well, being a tech geek, I found this challenge kind of irresistible,
    and I'm happy to report I have a solution for you.
    STEP 1
    First, make a copy of your "Lightroom Database.lrdb" file (we'll work
    off the copy to be safe)
    STEP 2
    Next, you need to be able to browse the database. The database is in
    SQLite3 format. I tried installiing an SQLite3 ODBC driver and accessing
    it through MS Access 2003. While Access was able to see all of the
    tables in the database, every time I tried to link to one I got:
    "Reserved error (-7748); there is no message for this error"
    I found a few tips for this but wasn't able to work around it and get it
    to work. Which is a shame, since Access would be the easiest way for
    browsing and querying tables.
    Instead I found an open source tool called SQLite Database Browser.
    http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=87946&package_id=91778&release_id=41 4746
    I used the Windows version. There appears to be a version for MacOSX on
    PowerPC. It doesn't look like there is a version for Intel based Macs
    (though if you know how, you could always try downloading the source and
    compiling it yourself).
    STEP 3
    After you install the browser, open it up, choose "Open Database" and
    select the COPY of the lightroom database we made in step 1
    STEP 4
    go to the Execute SQL tab and issue the following command
    SELECT A.idx_filename, count(C.name)
    FROM Adobe_imageFiles A, AGLibraryTagImage B, AGLibraryTag C
    WHERE A.image=B.image AND B.tag=C.id_local AND C.kindName='AgKeywordTagKind'
    GROUP BY A.idx_filename
    HAVING count(C.name) <= 3
    That will give you all images with 3 or fewer keywords applied.
    Of course, theres no guarantee that this wont break in future versions.
    Now an explanation of the data.
    Adobe_imageFiles - contains data about image files:
    1) idx_filename is the filename
    2) absolutePath is the full file path
    3) image is a unique ID for the image which you can cross reference in
    other image related tables
    AGLibraryTag - contains info about "tags" applied to images:
    1) id_local is a unique ID for this "tag", which you can use to cross
    reference in other tag tables
    2) kindName is the kind of tag you are looking at. Available values
    appear to be:
    AgCaptionTagKind
    AgCollectionTagKind
    AgCopyrightTagKind
    AgEnumeratedMetadataTagKind
    AgFolderTagKind
    AgImportTagKind
    AgKeywordTagKind
    AgMissingFileTagKind
    AgQuickCollectionTagKind
    AgSpecialContentOwningTagKind
    AgTempImagesTagKind
    3) name is the value for that tag (the collection name, the keyword, etc)
    AGLibraryTagImage - Use this to connect the images and tags tables
