I recently purchased an apple iPhone 6Ft cable from amazon.
The price was decent and thought I would be getting a true apple approved cable.
Well I was wrong.
When I recevied the cable from Amazon I noticed the connector was a little ticker.
I tried the cable on my iPhone 4 and noticed that the cable was getting really hot.
So Apple here is a list of knock off cable companies selling on Amazon.
Took me 10 minutes to research the companies. These companies are recking your brand and selling low quality apple products. If you get an apple product in a plastic bag for cheap you know it is not approved or licensed...

So Apple here is a list of knock off cable companies selling on Amazon.
Are you saying that these companies are claiming to sell a genuine Apple cable?
Does the packaging say Apple? Does the cable have the Apple logo on it?
I suspect that the seller is implying that the cable is Apple compatible not That the cable is made by Apple.
By the way, you are not addressing Apple here. This is a user to user forum.

Continually knocked off home network while cable modem looks normal

I have a cable modem connected to an Airport Extreme base station (circa 2005, so it's the 802.11b/g). Almost every day I get knocked off my home network and the name of the network that shows up is "linksys" for some reason. The cable modem lights continue to flash in their normal sequence. I live in a private house, not an apartment building.
What I then do is follow a protocol that I discovered on this site (I don't remember if it was this forum) a couple of years ago -- I shut down all the computers, unplug the modem and Airport, wait five minutes, and then plug everything back in sequence.
Last night after I got through yelling at my cable company, they ran some tests remotely and suggested that the problem was with the Airport base station. How can I check for the connectivity of that? What in the System Preferences or Airport Setup can I look at? Thanks.

Change the wireless channel on your AirPort Extreme to try to avoid the interference that you are picking up from the Linksys router in your vicinity.
Open AirPort Utility - click Manual Setup
Click the Wireless tab/label located just below the row of icons
Start with Channel 11
Update to save your changes
Keep trying different channels working your way down until you find a clear channel, or you run out of channels

IPhone knocks off External USB backup drive from Mac Pro

I noticed that my backup drive, while running Time Machine, kept unmounting on its own. I though the drive had failed. I checked it and had no obvious problem. The drive is IDE and two or three years old. I used on Vista for a few weeks and not problem. I formatted and used it again for Leopard and it kept unmounting and disappears from my desktop. I upgraded to Snow Leopard and it mounted, but as soon as I plug in my iPhone to charge/sync the drive dismounts and disappears from my desktop. I remove the phone and restart and the drive is back. I have not done a sync for a week and the drive and Time Machine worked without issues. The drive has its own AC plug and is self powered. Anyone encountering this? Going to try switching to FireWire. Maybe too many things plugged in? USB Canon LiDE 30 scanner and USB hub causing this? Thanks in advance.

I solved the odd abrupt dismounting of my back up drive. I got rid of the USB cable that came with my iPhone when I saw it frayed on one end. I used the generic car charger cable for charging and syncing. When I picked up an authentic iPhone USB cable the drive didn't get knocked off. I have both plugged where as I had to unmount and unplug the drive or the iPhone. For the benefit of others.

Payments user will post the incoming payments on account, which should be adjusted for 1st bill on FIFO basis.

Every time i try to play draw something i keep getting knocked off. I also have a game that is stuck and i can't get rid of it or keep playing.

I am continually knocked off of draw something while trying to play. I also have a game that when they sent it back to me, it was frozen at the point where it shows them guessing my drawing. It lets me watch my drawing but shows the wrong letters available and the wrong word in the spaces. The right word was wedgie but the word guessed is candy and the remaining available letters are a,d,q,v,y,y,z.

go to the appstore and make sure that there are no new updates for Drawsomething.
If that is fine, double tap the home button and remove every app you see in that area. (hold your finger on the recent apps area that just came up and then remove every app from that area.
Now try to go to DrawSomething.
If that didn't do it:
Now go to where you have draw something and remove it from your ipad (hold down the icon until it all of them start to wiggle and hit the X on Draw something.
Now go back to the App Store and redownload draw something.
See if that doesn't help.

IMac G5 does not turn on after power cord knocked off

I have an iMac G5 that I recently passed on to my daughter. For the past few years it has been working fine except for one occasion that I replaced the power supply. At that time it was still covered by warranty and Apple sent me a replacement unit that I installed myself. Lately, the power cord was knocked off while the computer was on and now it will not turn on completely. It starts for about 15 seconds up to the gray Apple logo then the screen goes blank. I monitored the LEDs and all 3 do turn on then the computer shuts down. At first I thought it's the power supply that was affected with the power cord accident, and bought a replacement unit. I have just installed it but still the same problem exist. I am now asking for help from the expert souls out there to save this computer. Thanks.

No more ideas except to try starting from the install disc and see if that works. Resetting the PRAM might jolt it back to life, it's worth a try, but I am not hopeful.
If you do take it in, please let us know whether it was the logic board...

Please use F-44 and make sure you have to mention special GL indicator under open item selection tab.
Then only the line item will be diplayed.

2)in payment transaction tab i have maintained payment method, house bank ,selected the check box clrg with customer and vendor

Please check that same payment method is assigned to both customer and vendor

Payroll Costing / Accounting --- How to knock off payroll libility

I want to know, i have made setup of costing at link level according to the proper Cr & Dr. After the payroll run Costing summary shows Dr & Cr equal to each other e.g. Salary expense Account & Payroll Clearing Account.
Now i want to make the payment through my bank (AP module) , what entry i should pass or what step i should follow to knock-off my liability which is standing at Payroll Clearing Account?
Remember: i have 2000 Employees and Client wants every benifits calculates with seperate Natural Account e.g. basic Salary 11000 , HRent 11002 ... ect

I want to know just costing setup and want to pay through payroll.
My confusion comes when i am try to create Valid payment method for payroll.
What i should define in Payment Method thats makes my transaction reconcile. e.g. I defined costing at link level , for salary i enter salary expense code in costing segment in balancing segment should i define Bank or Payroll clearing Account. ( If i defines Payroll Clearing so how my bank will be updated with the amount which i have to pay to employee?)

I have an HP deskjet that works fine on Mozilla, but the Lexmark X5470 will not print from Firefox. It will; however, print a PDF document from Mozilla.

This may be a printer driver issue. I recommended first connect printer directly to computer and check for Software Updates, this will tell you if you have any printer updates.
If you are using a Mac computer follow troubleshooting steps in HT3500
(Basically, navigate to Print & Scan in System Preferences and right-click or control-click on printer from left and choose Reset Printing System, then re-add preferred printer.)
If you are using a Windows computer download and install Bonjour Print Services DL999

After i switch off cable from my USB port servicelayer.exe take me 100 % of PC process. I must CTRL+ALT+DEL and shutdown this process.
I try all. Close Nokia PC Suite, install new driver for cable, off my Nokia.

It's a bug in PC suite 6.84.
Hopefully it will be fixed in 6.85 when it is released.
6.83 works fine and is far more stable and reliable than 6.84.

IPad Knocks off to the Apple Logo Screen

When im on my iPad it knocks off to the Apple logo screen then after a few seconds goes to the lock screen. Doesnt happen all the time but at least once every time its charged. Only started happening when i upgraded to IOS 7. its iPad 3.

Any Control or Solution for Two Payment Draft Knock off to same invoice?

Q1) Would like to ask is it any control or solution proposed to prevent 2 outgoing payment draft knock off to same invoice?
Notes:
This is important because someone had choosed same invoice no 1 to knock off and save as payment draft.The problem will happen when 2nd outgoing payment draft with same invoice add to e system. E system will consider the second payment as payment on account(advance payment).

the sbo_sp_transactionnotification is somethink like triger in tables. It`s called when you add, update or delete data to db and it`s on you, which condition you wrote there. In the sp you will have for your case as input parameters identification of payment draft, so you need to prepare sql query which based on payment draft will make control, if exists some invoice, for which is more than one payment drafts. If yes, set @error = 1 and @error_message to some explanation (will be shown in status bar of sbo).
I dont know how you create the payment draft, so I will write some example for testing, which control if in cretaed or updated delivery from vendor is filled vendors no of delivery.

Knock-off Ink Queers Canon Printer Output

Sorry, I didn't know where else to go with this.
I have about a 4-year old Canon color printer. It used to print very nicely, if slowly. To save money I bought a package of that knock-off printer ink at Costco. I've been having trouble ever since. The print-out colors are not the same as the on screen color. They seem to be faded or otherwise 'off'. Colors seem to be having trouble mixing.
Yes, I have gone back to using authentic Canon cartridges. Yes, I have cleaned the heads with alcohol and clean cloth. Yes, I have done deep cleaning, head alignment, etc. My friend, who recommended the knock-off ink has also been having trouble with his Canon printing, too.
We wonder what can we do? Any ideas?

I would agree with Ji~m's assessment; you may have not printed enough to clear the channels in the print head to purge all the problem ink. I'd suggest you run the printer's cleaning routing until the problem clears up. Note, though, that some cheap knockoff ink can cause permanent problems with the printer, for which the only solution is an expensive repair or replacement of the printer.
For the future, be very cautious about using any ink not from the printer's vendor or approved by them. Some ink works fine and some, as I said, can completely (and in some cases permanently) mess up your printer. Many vendors will balk at honoring a warranty for any problems that may be related to use of non-approved ink.
Good luck; I'm afraid you may need it.
