Kudos to LR for GPS Support
I want to say that the GPS support in 1.0 is a great start! The ability to click on the arrow next to the EXIF tag and be taken to the Google Mapping website is awesome. Now, maybe they can provide a customization to let us use Google Earth (or other SW) instead.
The ability to autopopulate location data from the GPS data would be completely welcome as well.

During update process it says that the 00.01.25.114 mapping for v3.04 will be deleted and new mapping 00.02.42.122 for v3.06 will need to be downloaded.
Try going to Menu > Settings > Application settings > Positioning > Positioning methods - temporarily disable all except "Integrated GPS" then go outside away from tall buildings for 20 - 30 minutes required for very first positional lock to be acquired.

i recently upgraded to belle and since then i have been unable to get a gps fix it continually comes up with "waiting for gps" it worked fine on anna i have checked all settings as per previous posts on here an all is fine i have sat outside all day but still no fix !!! i own the n8 and love it to bits but wish to god i never updated to belle i ihave also tried lgs satellite from ovi but cant get a reading please help thaanks mark@farby

No doubt that you have tried enabling "Assisted GPS" only and waiting 20 - 30 minutes outside?
I would check in Menu > Settings > Conectivity > Settings > Mobile data - is it = On?
For a small number of users taking device to Nokia Care Point so that device can be re-furbished to return device to "Out of box" state with Nokia Belle software may be only solution, as then automatically sets up network setting for Assisted GPS to reach positional server = supl.nokia.com

HI I have a Nokia X6, and the maps and voice navigation used to work really well, but for the last few weeks, when I try to use it, it freezes on the Waiting for GPS screen and never actually connects. Have had the phone for nearly 2 years but never had this problem before, altho I don't use the GPS function much. I believe I have updated all recent software, I did it this morning thru my computer using Nokia software updater. Any ideas?

Have you made sure that
-A-GPS is activated
-That you are able to receive packet data
-You have not maxed out your data plan allowance with your service provider?
If you have checked all of these and they are all fine, it might be a hardware issue and you will need to take the device to your local Nokia Care point to get your device inspected by a technical expert.

Many apps are free to download but once you start using features there is a charge for other services such as maps. Did you read the fine print?

Webex Meeting Center and Jabber for Ipad support in Webex Telepresence
Hello, I have a two questions which are unclear based on my browsing of posts in this thread.
1) Are traditional Webex Meeting Center meetings able to be joined to a Webex Telepresence session? Ie. I have two callway/webex telepresence nodes (SX20 and a C40) can they have a webex meeting center participant brought in?
2) Is Jabber for Ipad supported using the Webex Telepresence service? Using the example endpoints above I have a SX20 and C40 and they want to add a Webex for Ipad endpoint in.
Thanks.You cannot have Telepresence endpoints using Callway service(WebEx TP service) join a webex session directly. You can do this however using WebEx enabled Telepresence which is meant for on-premise users to work with WebEx

In the call way (aka WebEx tp service), the work around is you have to use an endpoint that has multi site capabilities to make one video call and see video from other end points and then make an audio call to the WebEx service and bridge them together. Now users can audio and video and presentation remains on WebEx but it's not like the true webex enabled telepresence which today call way doesnt support

It seems like I cannot get GPS only to work on my ipad3 (4g version, but not on an active cell plan, and wifi off). Is there some new requirement in 7.1 or 7.1.1 to have cell and/or wifi enabled for GPS to work? I am testing with MotionX, garmin blueChart mobile, and a GPS monitoring tool. All show no signal. If I turn on cell and wifi, it says I get gps signal, but can't tell if that is from the GPS chip, or just from cell and wifi only (maybe with some gps mixed in)? Any ideas on how to get iPad working with GPS only??

Yes. tried the one ram stick, no go. I have been trying to boot off/install the windows 7 disk but am unable to get to the point where windows starts installing after its gathering information portion of the install. I can get to the disk selection screen of the install with the WD HD on SATA port 2 but then get the "cant install messages" when I try to select the Vertex 3. Yes I can see the Vertex 3 Drive as well as the WD drive at this point. some times I have to hit "scan" a couple of times. -

There is a built in GPS and map function that provides basic navigation using Google Maps. It's hard to miss right there on the home screen. However, it is maunal; you have to tap "next" when you reach each waypoint, and it does not provide spoken directions. It also downloads maps in real time, so it can be slow if you have a slow data connection, and it uses a lot of data if you are on a limited data plan. It is excellent for walking and public transportation, less useful in a vehicle unless you have a navigator sitting in the car.
There are several commercial GPS apps that you can buy from the App Store, but no free ones. Just search the App Store for "GPS". -
I am from Brazil, and i have an iphone 5. Since it was purchased the 3G/4G data signal doesn't work. I made contact with people in Apple from Brazil and they told me I had to ask for your support to unlock the 3G/4G data signal. How do I have to proceed to unlock this feature in my iphone?

How to Get Missing Dates for Each Support Ticket In My Query?
Hello -
I'm really baffled as to how to get missing dates for each support ticket in my query. I did a search for this and found several CTE's however they only provide ways to find missing dates in a date table rather than missing dates for another column
in a table. Let me explain a bit further here -
I have a query which has a list of support tickets for the month of January. Each support ticket is supposed to be updated daily by a support rep, however that isn't happening so the business wants to know for each ticket which dates have NOT been
updated. So, for example, I might have support ticket 44BS which was updated on 2014-01-01, 2014-01-05, 2014-01-07. Each time the ticket is updated a new row is inserted into the table. I need a query which will return the missing dates per
each support ticket.
I should also add that I DO NOT have any sort of admin nor write permissions to the database...none at all. My team has tried and they won't give 'em. So proposing a function or storable solution will not work. I'm stuck with doing everything
in a query.
I'll try and provide some sample data as an example -

Is there really not an email address for tech support? ( I really do not want to waste time being put on hold on the phone.)
However, I have 3 Issues Regarding iPad 2 with IOS 7:
1.) I can no longer open up the apps from the update page. (I used to be
able to & it was a quick way of making certain that I wanted to keep an app
before I updated it.
2.) I have many apps that I have updated since installing the new
operating system & they now have "open" symbols next to them, but I don't
know how to get them off of my update list (since that has already been
done to them).
3.) My iPad has gotten stuck or frozen more in this last week since the
new update then has in the last 2 years put together. (It seems to be stemming from the "Updates" page as sometimes that page is just white & will not open, even though everything else opens & I have an internet connection.)Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. Checking for Patch Requirements for Extended Support of 11.5.10

I am trying to check for a client that they are meeting the minimum requirements to remain on Extended Support. They use 11.5.10.2 and run that on a 11.2.0.3 db
The method I am using is:
1.
Check to see what is Shared and Licensed via OAM.
This will tell me the products that we must licensed and shared and which we must ensure we meet the minimum
2.
Go to Patch Requirements for Extended Support of Oracle E-Business Suite Release 11.5.10 [ID 883202.1]
and ensure that we are meeting these.
Seems very tedious ... (over 60 products to check) is there another way?
