Labview/excel: erreur -2147352567 dans Set Cell Value.vi

Bonjour à tous,
Je suis face à un problème insoluble.
Je n'arrive plus à écrire dans une cellule excel.
J'ai développé mon programme sous labview 2009 et fait des tests sur deux pc différents.
Sur un, l'écriture cellule fonctionne sur l'autre j'ai toujours l'erreur -2147352567 dans Set Cell Value.vi.
J'ai changé de pc et je suis passé de XP à Seven, installé labview 2009, mon programme bloque toujours sur le vi Set Cell Value.
Comment puis je solutionner mon problème? recompiler le programme?

Bjr à tous,
Le problème vient des modes de compatibilités d'excel entre 2003 et 2007-2010.
Vous ne pouvez pas gérer des fichiers en .xls ou .xlsx sur la même application.
Cela peu fonctionner un temps mais cela ne dure pas.
La solution ensuite est de convertir tous vos fichiers en extension .xlsx et tout rentre dans l'ordre.
Tout ceci est la joie d'excel et des logiciels à licence.
A+ pour un autre sujet de discussion.

I'm trying to find out if any of you have a faster way of setting values in Matrix as for any System cell value like ItemCode, not just UDF's
My actual code looks like that but I'm wondering if there's a faster way as right now, it is slow and having to set multiple values in matrix makes the addon very slow and unacceptable by customers

Hi Marc,
The new method GetCellSpecific of the matrix object is much faster than casting a cell to a particular control type using its Specific property:
SAPbouiCOM.EditText Editor = (SAPbouiCOM.EditText)Matrix.GetCellSpecific(ColumnUID, Row);
This should be noticeably faster than the older method and works for system matrices as well as user-defined ones.

Numbers set cell value

Hi Guys, might be a weird question but here goes.
am trying to create a formula that sets the values of other cells
meaning:
if A1 = 2
in B1 i will put: =IF(A1=2,C1=2,D1=0) which will check if cell A1 has the value of 2 and if so put the value 2 in cell C1 and if not will put the value of 0 in D1.
is that possible in numbers?
is there a way to do the same but with 2 cells changed at the same time?
meaning:
=IF(A1=2,C1=2 AND D1=2,D1=0)

A formula can not put a value into another cell.
Try this:
B2 =IF(A2=2,2,0) and fill down
In English:
IF A2 is equal to 2, then make me (B2) equal to 2, else make me equal to 0
To test for several conditions in the one formula, use one IF inside another (nested IFs), or use the AND() function.
Have a look at the Function Browser on the toolbar in Numbers.

Setting cell values in DataGrid

I have an application with a custom component called DataEntryDataGrid (which is a subclass of mx:DataGrid) that I based on this blog post: http://blogs.adobe.com/aharui/2008/03/custom_arraycollections_adding.html
The component works great, but in this particular datagrid I need some special functionality.   After the first row of data is entered and the user tabs into the next row, I need the first and second columns to be filled in based on the values of the previous row, and then I need it to automatically focus on the third column's cell. While the first and second columns should be still editable, they will be largely repetitive, and it would help if the users didn't have to enter the same numbers again and again. The first column in a new row should be the same value as the first column in the last row, and the second column in a new row should be (last row's value +1). Example:
DataGrid:

The problem I'm having is that when I tab into the next row, the first column value doesn't get set. The second column gets set to the correct value and displayed correctly, and the focus is set to the correct cell (the third column), but the first column remains empty. I'm not sure why this is. If I set a breakpoint in the code during the function focusNewRow() (which is called at the dataGrid's "itemFocusIn" event) the value of "slideNo" (first column) is set to the correct value, but after the "focusNewRow" functions finishes, a trace of dataProvider[the current row].slideNo shows the value is blank. Not null, just blank. Traces of all other columns show the correct values. Anyone have any ideas? Here's the code for my main application:

Problem solved. Actually, the NewEntryArrayCollection pointed to an outside function within the DataEntryDataGrid component to be used as a factory function for new objects. I just set the factory function to scan the previous row's values and base the new row's values off of them. Thanks again, Flex!

How to Fill list in excel based on another columns cell value

Hello,
I am facing issue while binding data to list i want to bind list or filter list based on another columns cell value

If your list is a series of rows with column headers like the following:
Column A
Column B
1
Apple
1
Banana
1
Orange
2
Pineapple
2
Cucumber
2
Watermelon
Then you can do this will Excel's built in filter functions. If you select the entire data table and then go to "DATA" then click the "FILTER" button a drop down will appear next to both headers (Column A and Column B in this case). You
can then select the data you would like filtered from either column and Excel will hide that entire row.
If this is not what you are looking for please post some examples of what you are trying to see.

Dragging one cell value(copy) across columns or across rows in ALV layout

Hi friends,
In bps layouts, data is displayed in ALV grid as interface. At plng folder level, can i incorporate excel feature like dragging one cell value across columns or across rows? Simply if user enter one value in cell of ALV grid, that should be copied automatically across rows/columns while dragging?
Second question, even i chose in layout builder excel as interface, that layout showed in plng folder as ALV grid layout. Why it happens so. I read documentation in UPSPM of that particular plng folder, it tells same thing(even if u choose excel, it will show in ALV only). So how can i get excel interface in plng folder?

requested property is not possible at ALV layout level. Provided text document load facility to user. So user can directly load excel to plng folder.

version of Excel is 2010, but i have this problem with Excel 2007, Excel 2003. This property also has a problem in old versions of labview (8.6; 9; 10).

Why writes LabVIEW only every 2 seconds the measured Value to a Excel (In a while loop with 100 ms tact)?

Hi everybody,
I use the myDAQ to measure speed, ampere, and voltage of a battery driven motor. (For Current measurement, i use a Sensor which outputs a 0-10 V signal). I placed all DAQ-Assitants in a while loop with a [Wait until next ms multiple] clock and set a value of 100 ms. I thougt, Labview will now write into my text file 10 times a second all values. In fact, as you can see in the attached text file, Labview only writes in a unsteady interval of 1-2 seconds a value, which is too less.
The question: Did I do anything wrong, how can you create VI that writes you lets say 10 values a second into text file? Or is simply the DigitalMultimeter input of the myDAQ not able to sample a rate of 10 Hz? I couldn´t find any information in the specification handbook about the sample rate of the DMM?

File I/O is not very efficient. I recommend that you do you file logging in a parallel task. Have one task do your data acquision. This task would then pass the data to be logged to the logging task via a queue. That way your file operations do not impact your data acquision. Also, express VIs are not very efficient. You would be better off accessing that directly using the DAQ VIs. The express VIs contain lots of steps that do not need to be done every time you call it such as initializing the device.

Report Generation broken after deployment - Excel Set Cell Color and Border.vi

Upon deployment, the Excel Set Cell Color and Border.vi became broken. After installing LV2010 SP1 to view the VIs in the deployment, I noticed that in the second case structure where the code draws the border using the BorderAround invoke node, there is an extra variant input parameter named 'Parameters'. Upon right-clicking, an option to 'Relink Invoke Node' appeared and after selecting this, the extra input disappeared and the VI was no longer broken.
Why does "Relink Invoke Node" appear? How do I create a deployment with this issue? Has anybody else experienced this? Why is the TestStand deployment so buggy?

I have set up a test deployment here where I am deploying a workspace that contains a sequence file. This sequence file has a LabVIEW Action Step calling a VI that opens a new Excel file and simply calls the Excel Set Cell Color and Border VI. After deploying this, both the VI and my test sequence ran on the deployment machine without error. Therefore, I do have some more questions to more accurately reproduce what you are seeing.
First, what operating systems are you developing on and deploying to? Also, what license do you have for TestStand on the machine you are deploying to? If you have a development version, can you manually take the sequence file and VI to this machine and run it? I know you now have LabVIEW 2010 SP1 on your development machine, but if you have the development version of TestStand as well, it would be interesting to see if you copy the files over if you still see this behavior. Are you including the TestStand Engine in the deployment?
Can you open a blank VI on the deployment machine and add the Excel Set Cell Color and Border VI? It would also be interesting to see if this is not a product of the deployment, but rather an issue with something on the deployment machine itself. What version of the Report Generation Toolkit do you have on each machine? Also, what versions of Excel are you using on the development and deployment machine? Again, it would be helpful for me to know exactly what versions you have installed on both the development and deployment machines so that I can reproduce this as accurately as possible.
One last thing to try, too, would be to try deploying the VI by itself just to see if it also has the same behavior. Do you have the Application Builder in LabVIEW? If so, could you also try building an executable from the VI, create an installer, and deploy this to the deployment machine?
In regards to the "freezing" of code by removing the block diagrams, I do not believe this will be a proper work around in this case. While this removes the block diagram from actually being deployed along with the VI and restricts users from editing the code on the deployment machine, if something is getting changed in the compiled code upon deployment, this will not stop this from happening. This option is available more as a memory option to lower the size of the deployment as well as prohibit any users on the development machine from editing the block diagram themselves.

LabVIEWで収集したデータをExcelファイルで出力しようと考えています。
そこで質問が有ります。
題名のようにExcel Set Cell Color and Border.viのbackground color 設定についてです。
デフォルト（未配線）では白に設定されていますが、”色なし”に設定するにはどうしたら良いのでしょうか？
又、罫線色等を指定する数値設定に関しては、何処を調べたら良いのでしょうか？

色なしにしたいとの事ですが、こちらでExcel Set Cell Color and Border.viを使用して簡単なVIを実行させてみましたが色なしに設定することはできませんでした。
そこで質問したいのですが色なしにする理由というのはバックグラウンドが白のままだとセルの枠が見えなくなるからでしょうか。
もしそうであれば設定により枠をつけることができますのでそちらの方を試して頂けたらと思います。
方法としましては同じExcel Set Cell Color and Border.viを使い設定します。
アイコンの上部にピンク色のピンが２つあるかと思いますがそちらからセル内側の線、外側の線を設定できます。
添付した画像を参照して下さい。
画像のように設定しますとセルに黒色の枠ができると思います。
数値設定などに関しても質問されていますが、そちらはヘルプがありますのでそちらを参照頂けると詳しい情報がわかるかと思います。
LabVIEWでVIを開いている時に　ctrl + H を押しますと小さいウィンドウ「詳細ヘルプ」が立ち上がります、その状態でマウスのポインタをアイコンに重ねて頂きますと詳細ヘルプにアイコンの説明が記述されます。
ウィンドウズ内のリンクからオンラインヘルプを参照することもできます。
上記内容をご確認いただきまして、何かS_YN様の意図と違う点などありましたらご連絡下さい。

NI_Excel.Ivclass:Excel Set Cell Color and Border.vi Error

I was trying to compile a file and I kept getting an error. It zeroed in on the vi that was not compiling. I am attaching the vi to this message. The vi seems to be broken. And I am not sure how to fix this. Can some one please help me out with this. Thanks in advance.
I guess it is associated with Report Generation Toolkit. Please let me know if you need any more details.

Need help with Report Generation Toolkit: Excel Set Cell Format.vi

I've been searching and found this old thread of someone asking what is the input parameter "Number format". And I dont know what should I put in there. I've tried so many possibilities, but nothing works so far, such as:
0,0
0,?
0,#
#,0
?,0
and also with @, doesnt works. Where would I find help about this parameter?
I'm using Excel2003, german version, thus local decimal separator is a comma.
I also found this help from NI, but seems doesnt help me either. Do I miss something important?

I've used your suggestion and some numbers in excel doesnt need to get "right click, change to numbers" anymore (green indicators on the left-top side in some cells are gone). But, I think its still not a number, because I cant use a simple formula, such as in cell A10 I type "= A1/2" (cell A10 equals cell A1 divided with 2) . I got error which says its not a number.
Well, but other thing is found, any format-string I put in the input of Excel Set Cell Format.vi, such as #,########, will be shown the same as "customize #,########" if I right click in a cell in excel and click "Zellen formatieren" (formatting cell). But however, the numbers are still depends on the input of the format I put in the Append Table to Report.vi.

To set a value in matrix cell which is linked

In sales order if I enter form no of TAX TAB as "form c" , each cell of the TAX Code column of the matrix of contents tab should be set the value as "CST". I have tried to set the value, but it is showing "Form item not editable". I have tried to make the cell as editable but still the error message is coming and it is not setting the defined value. How can this be solved?

How to change the cell value in Excel Sheet in WD Java?

HI,
I have an application which is used to upload and download excel sheet.I can upload the excel sheet through Upload UI element and also able to download the same file through Download UI.But before download I want to validate the excel sheet.If data is not proper in the excel then I have to put some comment (cell comment).I am able to read each cell value,but not ble to put any comment.Once I pt commen in the cell,the download file should display the commented in the excel sheet.
Please let me know how to update hte excel sheet.

I'm not sure about the HSSF apis, however, i inserted the Cell Comments using jexcel apis. There is a method setComment(java.lang.String s, double width, double height) in class WritableCellFeatures using which you can insert cell comments
