Launch Agent and "CGSDeviceSynchronize: Invalid device window"
I have created an OSX App which runs as a LaunchAgent. It has a Status Menu. After installation if I logout and login again, the Status Menu doesn't appear. The app appears in the activity monitor though. I noticed that the Main Xib itself is not getting loaded. And from the console, i see the following logs:

I am unable to replicate it always. But whenever the issue occurs, I seem to be getting the above logs.
I too am getting this frustrating printer agent in Mavericks. The only thing I can deduce is that it is a hidden directory. I'ts a **** nuisance

Actually... I take it back. I TRIED to update to 16.0.2, but I keep getting the error message that Firefox must be closed first. I'm using Chrome to send these messages, and have also closed iTunes, in case that was contributing to the problem. No use... I can't install the upgrade.

My ipod 32gb 1st generation battery went totally dead because the usb cable was defective. I have since replaced the cable but now itune will not launch automatically as it did before and windows xp does not recognize it. Nonetheless it is charging. However can i resolve these issues bearing in mind that i am not tech savvy?

Try disabling a/v software and turn off the Firewall on your PC.
Disable antivirus software
Turn-Windows-Firewall-on-or-off
Then connect the iPod to your computer. Launch iTunes. If your computer still won't recognize the iPod check out this article.

Once your iPod is functioning again, with it connected to your computer, launch iTunes. Select the iPod under Devices in the source list on the left.
Select the box next to: Open iTunes when this iPhone is connected
That way iTunes should open automatically when you connect your iPod to your computer.
And iTunes / Preferences - Devices. You can have your iPod sync automatically whenever it's connected from the Devices pane. -

Ubuntu and Leopard - Error : 12 Invalid device requested
Hi All!
Leopard worked fine when that was the only operating system on the computer..
after I installed the Ubuntu, leopard was not being recognized by the grub.
I have edited the grub (source - http://www.howtoforge.com/workingwith_the_grubmenu) and managed to change the background too, however when I choose Leopard to boot from, it comes up with the error - Error 12 : Invalid device requested.
I am able to boot to only Ubuntu now.
This is the sudo fdisk -l result..

PS: do not have / want windows on my computer.Hi, I'll try to remember how to do this...When the system starts, try pressing F8
or if you already open to a selection screen then skip F8. Select the Leopard to boot from and try typing:
mach_kernel -v
That will direct it to the boot kernel on the Leopard partition. Other than that could you please post your grub?

I can't synch my iPhone with iTunes because the device does not show up in a device window when I plug it in...it's missing in action and thus I'm not able to add any content from the iTunes to my iPhone, e.g. podcasts. All the instructions on synching start with "find your device in the device window". But what if you have no device window?
Missing "message" from above: The iPad "DGMTR" is synced with another iTunes library on DGMTR's MacBook Pro. Do you want to erase this iPad and sync with this iTunes library? An iPad can be synched with only one iTunes library at a time. Erasing and syncing replaces the contents of this iTunes library.
I thought the libraries were the same. -
Just downloaded Firefox 6.0 and have restarted 4 plus times, but it continues to hang while launching. I cannot open new windows, change any settings, or do anything but Force Quit. I'm on Mac OSX 10.5.8. How do I get past this hang?
Long story short: Simply get CC for teams. At 500 bucks a year it's a steal and those 5 licenses in the base package (or was it 10 even?) cover all your computers, at least the 3 ones you mentioned. For system requirements refer to the individual product pages.

I cannot see my Iphone 4 in my device window in the finder anymore. It use to appear so I could copy the camera pictures off of it and transfer them to other folders. Does anyone have and idea how to get it back when you plug it in initially. Thanks
You will want to open iPhoto, go to the iPhoto menu and select Preferences. Under the General tab, next to Connecting camera opens: select iPhoto. Close the preferences and quit iPhoto. Reconnect your iPhone 4. iPhoto should open automatically and offer to import your pictures. Import them and then do what you want with them.

G555. Need drivers for SM Bus and another Unknown device for Windows XP.
I try to install Windows XP on my G555. I got all other drivers, but cannot find drivers for SM Bus and an Unknown device. And what's this device?
The second problem is that after I installed all the drivers, the card reader disappeared. It was there after I installed Windows XP, before I install drivers.

In thinkpads, it's usually intel chipset driver. For AMD based G555, I wouldn't be surprised if this is the driver you need:- http://consumersupport.lenovo.com/us/en/DriversDownloads/drivers_show_2476.html
As for other unknown device, find it's PCI ID with any other known information and paste here.

U330 wireless and bluetooth drivers for windows xp. devices not working. drivers already installed
so i did a fresh instal of windows xp pro sp3.
device manager shows yellow question mark and ! for Network Controller and BCM2046 Bluetooth Device. i have tried using lan to windows update, update drivers, but device manager cannot find anything.
i have installed the 2 broadcom drivers for windows xp listed on lenovos website. i made sure that wireless switch is on, and fn+f5 wireless option is set to on as well.
LAN shows up. and so does the 1394 on the network connections, but no wireless.
(note: on my server 2008 os, the new windows troubleshooting instructed me to turn on a specific service, which then enabled my wireless to work.)
however i cant seem to find a way to get the wireless to work.
Could someone tell me all services exactly need to be enabled for the wireless to work? and why does the network controller still show up on device manager even after i have installed the drivers?
please help, totally lost.Your "yellow" device is Bluetooth, not WiFi.
Fn+F5 utility work depends on both of them, so you need all drivers to be installed before it will work.
Install bluetooth drivers for your model. Also, your WiFI also may be Broadcom (Gemtek) and you may be trying to install Intel WiFi.

Background Agent and Windows Live SDK 5.6
I have successfully added code to the AudioPlayBackAgent (background agent) to allow access to Onedrive files. The app runs perfectly on my development phone. However when I attempt to load it to the Windows Phone Store, I get errors saying the code is attempting
to use Microsoft.Phone.Controls.WebBrowser and many other similar errors, when in fact I do not have any of this in the AudioPlayBackAgent.

Thanks!From the errors it sounds like Microsoft.Live.dll is using API that aren't allowed in a Background Agent. See
Unsupported APIs for background agents for Windows Phone 8 .
This means that the Microsoft.Live namespace isn't designed for or supported in a background agent. You'll need to use some other means to get the functionality you are looking for. You may need to talk to
OneDrive's Rest API via HttpClient instead of using the wrapper. See

Problem launching flash cs5 and cs5.5 on windows vista
Hello Every Body. I have a problem launching flash cs5 and cs5.5 on windows vista home premium edition. When i launch it, the register screen appears(the one that tells the trial time left) but the flash main window always stays black (or white)and is not responding. I had it working about one week ago and i can't figure out what is the problem .It tried reinstalling couple of times without succes. I also tried deleting the left flash cs5 program files after uninstall but it didn't work . I would need your advice. Here is the screen as it appears:
