Launching flash from c#

We are currently writing an application in c# for the pocket
pc that
utilises a lot of flash content.
We are launching the flash using the web browser control.
Is this the best/recommended approach to doing this, or is
there a better
method? If this is the best method, how do we make the flash
run full
screen? At the moment it has some borders.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Launching flash panel from menu other than Window - Extensions

Hey all,
I've got 2 related questions:
is it possible to open flash panel (created with Extension Builder) from a custom menu item?
can I open multiple swf panels by one menu item? all panels would be defined in one manifest.xml in the same bundle

Yes, and yes.
You need to create a startup script to create the menu in the startup script. The script can launch as many extensions as you'd like.
The only straight-forward way I know to launch extensions from an external script, is by invoking the menu item of the panel.

Launch flash builder from flash cs5 don't work

hi
I have a trial version of flash builder (eclipse plug-in) and registered flash cs5 pro
I'm trying to open a new AS3 class like in this tutorial: http://tv.adobe.com/watch/learn-flash-professional-cs5/using-flash-pro-and-flash-builder-t ogether/
and it doesn't work.
at first it did asked if I want to edit the file in flash builder or not, and it didnt work.
now it won't even ask.
what can I do?
and also I cant open a flash proffessional project in flash builder, it says "This feature requires Adobe Flash CS5 or higher to be installed."
but it is installed!
frustrated...

I gave this a shot, using CS5, and when I started a new AS3 file I got the appropriate prompt asking me which application should edit my file...

When I chose Flash Builder, (which I had already running), it opened the new AS3 file there with no problems. Interestingly, when I closed FB, and with Flash Pro created a new AS3 class, I wasn't prompted (and the AS file opened in Flash Pro) - so it does require that FB be running, or else Flash Pro will be the default editor.
For the issue of Flash no longer prompting you "Who" will open a new file, you can change that here:
Edit > Preferences > ActionScript > Several items down is the Class editor. Change that to Flash Builder
If you still have problems...Are you able to successfully launch Flash Builder 4 by itself? Or has the trial expired?

How do I prevent Flash Builder from launching Flash CS5?

Every time I change workspaces, Flash Builder launches Flash CS5 which is very annoying. Anybody know how to turn this off?

Using [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/433 Flashblock] solves that.

Impossible to launch Flash CC 2014 - and worst CC experience ever

Let me explain the process here :
I launched Flash CC (not 2014), which I haven't launched since a long time. Then I opened a new AS3 document. And tried to use the brush tool. I selected a brush size. And then it crashed. Yes only that...
Adobe displays a message after crashing saying that they have a solution for this problem of crashing. Cool I think ! I click on the link, but arrive on the new creative cloud 2014 apps.A bit disappointing, but I think that the problem is resolved with Flash CC 2014.
So I download Flash CC 2014. And launch it. And it crashes.... Ok maybe it is a bad install. I restart the computer.
But then Creative Cloud asks to install the new CC Desktop app. F***. It begins to be a bit long to just use Flash !!... (Ok, I can use Flash at this point, but I need to synchronize my files, so I need CC desktop app. Anyway, I don't understand why I should download the latest version as the version I use works great : synchs my file, install fonts, and install softwares, which is the basics I need from Creative Cloud)
Ok I start to reinstall CC Desktop. But it fails !!! Yes F******** !! Error 43. "contact the consumer service". Ok I click. And I arrive on the Creative Cloud Help. BUT WHERE IS THE MESSAGE FIELD I NEED TO SPEAK TO ADOBE ???? OR THE TEL NUMBER OR WHATEVER ??? Where is the consumer service ??? Nothing ! I have to search inside all these forum links and help and find the good link to contact Adobe. WHAT A MESS ! But Adobe is not available. We are friday. I have to wait until monday. But I CAN'T !!!
Yes. Let's calm down a bit. I uninstall CC app. Restart. Redownload CC desktop app. Ok, but where is it on the Adobe website ?????? There are all apps visible everywhere (photoshop, illustrator...) but NO CC desktop APP !! I end up finding it somewhere (i don't remember where), and reinstall it. IT WOOORKS !! youhou. I notice that this new version doesn't do much more than the previous one : synchs files, install fonts, and install softwares. Oh, ok, I can go to the marketplace ! These steps are to describe how BAD the experience is with Creative Cloud at this moment, especially for the support feature. Please make it better. Really better !
And please resolve my problem with Flash CC 2014, which is the first aim of this post. It seems like there are a lot of cool features I don't need but would be pleased to test. The best would be to be able to open the software of course...

Can't I stop the HOG Flash from Firefox? I use FlashBlock but a constant fight. Often both cores maxed at 100%,laptop very slow until I kill Flash in Tsk Mangr

Flash is the problem. It often maxes both cores of my dual core processor and brings processing virtually to a halt.
Originally, I killed flash in Task Manager whenever i heard my fan come on and also noticed slow system response. This was very distracting and took a lot of time.
Then I installed FlashBlock, but it doesn't stop Flash unless you tell it for each and every website.
When reading news, and opening a link, I will hear the fan start, so i click the block button/icon in Firefox to block the site from using flash. Some sites don't launch with the FlashBlock icon. I have to use the manual kill option for them. This extremely frustrating. I understand why Steve Jobs hated Flash.
I don't like Apple's money-sucking wallet-leach behavior, so I use WinTel and live with the frustrations of which this is the biggest. HTML5 supposedly is the solution, but site builders use flash.
FireFox needs a flash control switch built in the browser to give control of Flash - block/ask, etc. functionality.

By the way, Firefox does have a Click-to-Play feature you can use for Flash. That will delay Flash from starting on a page until you approve it. However, the approval is per site, I believe, so you may need an add-on to control it per page.
To set "Ask to Activate", open the Add-ons page using either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Plugins. Look for "Shockwave Flash" and change "Always Activate" to "Ask to Activate".
When you visit a site that wants to use the Flash, you should see a notification icon in the address bar and one of the following: a link in a black rectangle in the page or an infobar sliding down between the toolbar area and the page.
Not a solution, but hopefully will help a bit.

Ever since the latest OS X update, my apps flash from active to inactive every few seconds.

Since the last OS X update 10.10.3, my apps flash from active to inactive and back again. It happens with all of my open applications, and it keeps me from typing accurately because the app, flashes to inactive while I am trying to type.

When you have the problem, note the exact time: hour, minute, second.
These instructions must be carried out as an administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
          SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
          View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen.

Launching EncoreDVD from PremiereCS3 (trial version downloaded from Adobe)

I have recently tried to get hold of a
try out version of Encore CS3. As I searched Adobe I found that the
trial of EncoreDVD always takes me to the trial download of Premiere CS3. I searched he net and it seemed that Encore is included in Premiere. So I downloaded the
Trial of Premiere CS3 and then installed and launched it. But
I could not find that Encore being installed.
I could also not find any way to launch Encore from CS3 except under File> Export> Export to Encore, which was grayed out.
Does any one have any idea that how can I get a trial of Encore CS3? Please suggest.

Addition of Blu Ray authoring & Flash output.
There are no real changes to the basic DVD-Video functionality at all, with the exception of some bug fixes - the most important ones (IMHO) being the Chapter Playlist bug & the Stacked AVI clips going out of sync bug.
PPro CS3 & Encore CS3 are integrated when you buy PPro CS3.
There is no trial of Encore CS3 because of licensing issues.

How do I make my banner flash from one photograph to another?

Good day.
I am using Dreamweaver CS5.
My banner of 968px X 280px is a JPG image (photograph) with a logo.
I would like to learn how to make the banner photograph flash from one photograph to another.
Can anyone help me with how to do this or guide me to where I can find a tutorial on this?
Can this be done in Dreamweaver with code, or do I have to do this in another application first?
I have Flash, Fireworks and Photoshop.
I will appreciate help.

It's not jquery that determines the dimensions of your container for your images, you do. The dimensions can be any size. jquery is just a script which alternates the images within the container:

Thats what i am really surprised off too,what we did was a little bit configuration for changing the skin of the screen,so a configuration request was created,now whatever changes i have done regarding the change in the skin etc. was not actually reflecting in the system & personalise button become ineffective on the main screen of UI.
So to just go back to previous state ,i deleted that request.
This is whatever we did,after that when we tried running campaign ,this error is coming,but i am not sure that whether this error is coming after this deletion of request or may be it was coming before too but i did not check campaign before these customisations.
There is no Z object involved as role applied is Standard SAP Business Role & the probs coming is in the Viewset of standard Role.
I have tried changing the role & created a Z role and applied it but of no use since the result is same,the error that i have already described.
I am really clueless.
