Layer or Level of BoM

Hi friends I need to Know how can I determine which level represents the items en Bill of Materials, is that accesible using a field or table in Business One.
The problem is that I need to designa a report but part of the complex is the I use many BoM with sub-layer such as 5 o 6 levels since father to the last layer in the BoM, but the problem is how can I know what level or layer represents.
The production report menu had it a "Bill of materials Report" and in that report exists a column "Depth", how the report determine this field??
Thanks in advance

  • MPs at second level of BOM

    Hi,
    I have a header material A-MRP type -PD. independent requirements maintined in MD61 for 25 qty.
    I have a bom compoennet B directly below A -MRP type -M1.
    Now when multilevel MRP is run for A using MD02 , i  see no dependent requirements are generated for B.
    when single level MPs is run for B using MD42, no requirements are genrated for B.
    How do we plan MPS items used as a BOM component. Is maintining separated PIR for B the only option to plan second level MPS bom items.

    Dear Santosh
    I v tested your scinario.My setup was like this : PIR -FG -M6-10, M7-200,M8-1000  (Monthly )
    FG : TEST234   MRP TYPE : PD  Planning Strategy : 10      Indi/Coll : Blank          Stock : 0
    ROH : TEST      MRP Type : M1    Planning Strategy : 40     Indi/Coll : 2                 PTF : 30    Stock : 0
    ROH: TEST6    MRP Type : PD        Plng St : 40                    Indi/Coll : 2   Stock : 0
    It is running perfectly with this set up .I am getting Two PR for TEST /TEST6 and Planned Order for FG.I run MRP with NETCH, 2,1,3,3,2 with diplay material before save marked .
    Observation : As PTF -30  days for TEST , I have seen a firmed PR  generated as per the BOM qty  with the PTF -Check in MD04.
    I hope this combination should work .Check if you are missing something .

  • Query to showed all level of BOM details, sort by create/update date

    Hi expert,
    I need a query to display all the level of BOM and can be sort by create / update date.
    The display of query should be as below:
    A (1st level) Parent BOM
    B (2nd level) Child BOM 1
    B (2nd level) Child BOM 2
    C (3rd level)  Child BOM 2 - 1
    C (3rd level)  Child BOM 2 - 2
    B (2nd level) Child BOM 3
    B (2nd level) Child BOM 4
    Below is the BOM  query that can only display up to 2nd level and cannot sort by date.
    Can someone please help to modify or there is a better query?

  • Mixed Manufacturing Strategies at Different Levels in BOM

    Dear colleagues,
    We have a situation where the BOM is about 5 levels deep. At the top level, the business needs a MTO type of solution.  At the semifinished level i.e the assemblies need to be made after the receipt of sales order.   Therefore, we can call the assembly level as either Assemble to order or Make to Order.  However at subassembly level, forecasts are likely to be keyed in. Therefore, this is a make to stock.
    We have some solutions that we have thought about so far.
    1)  I would like to hear if any of you have implemented multiple strategies within a single BOM structure and what challenges / issues you may have faced?
    2)  I would like to know if any you came across a situation where MTO production order in one level of BOM drives another MTO production order in another level?
    3)  What is the best way to manage and establish a hard pegging between different levels of BOM in R3?  ( I know that this is easier in APO)
    regards,
    Pavan

    We have implemented following scenario.
    1st level - FERT - MTO strategy - type 20
    2nd level - HALB - No strategy
    3rd level - ROH/VERP - No strategy

  • Why is my Noise Layer (with Levels Adjustment) not saving correctly?

    I'm hoping this is an easy fix, but this problem has me all twisted...
    I have an image built in Photoshop with a Noise layer playing the role of stars on a mainly black background with a Levels Adjustment cleaning up the lighting to dumb it down, but when I go to save the image (in either jpeg or png), that same noise layer bypasses the Adjustment and shines through, distorting the whole image... I simply just want it to save what I have on the screen, but as soon as I go to save, it merges the layers and the noise comes through extremely harsh out of nowhere...
    Attached are examples of the difference of before and after the save... (and the "after" save is a bit more harsh than its displayed here, but you get the point)

    The top larger image is the "after" I save (.png form), the screenshot within photoshop is the "before"...
    I've also tried to the merge layers beforehand as well, but it actually just displays the image as if it were the saved version, with the noise coming through extremely hard. I just didn't save it yet.
    I appreciate the suggestion!

  • How to get BOM compoents at the lowest level using BOM tables?

    I am doing a report based on CK13N wherein i hav material and plant as the selection parameters and based on that i get the product costing of the entire BOM.
    I pass material to MAST.get the BOM num and usage
    Pass it to STAS and get STLKN (ITEM NODE NUMBER)
    After that i pass STLKN and STLNR(BOM number) to STPO to get the BOM subitems based on UPSKZ(Sub items indicator). But that fails because UPSKZ is nt set for all the assemblies.
    So hw do i get the BOM components at the lowest level USING these TABLES

    Ashwin
    1) As Taj Said, Sub item is not actually a item or component.
    2) The sub item number what we are viewing the sub item sceen will be 001,002 like ,it not mean any item
    3) For Example a car has 4 wheels, so the item/component description is WHEEL
    4) The BOM Quantity of wheel is 4
    5) In BOM General item over view, you can select the wheel then click subitem
    6) This will lead to sub item screen
    7) There you can see subitem 001,002,003 then installation point,subitem text,qty etc
    8) Against installation point you can decalre Front Left,Front Right,Rear Left,Rear Left
    9) Against sub item text,qty you can declare Front Left wheel-1,Front Right wheel-1, Rear Left wheel-1, Rear Right wheel-1 no
    9) This does not mean there are addition Sub items for wheel (ie) additional BOM component)
    10) Just declaring the positions for fitting in the car to ease the Assembly Person for fixing the wheel
    11) So if you get the cost for WHEEL as assigned in BOM item then ok, don't worry about sub item cost
    Reward me if my answer is helpful

    Use function module CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2, and in the import parameter set the MEHRS to 'X" 9 Set Multi level explosion to true.
    Like this -
      CALL FUNCTION 'CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2'
           EXPORTING
                CAPID                 = C_CAPID
                DATUV                 = P_DATUV
                MTNRV                 = T_MAST-MATNR
                STLAL                 = T_MAST-STLAL
                STLAN                 = T_MAST-STLAN
                WERKS                 = T_MAST-WERKS
                MEHRS              = 'X'

  • Revision level in BOM

    Dear All,
    I want to bring the column of the revision level in Bill of material display screen
    Regards,

    Going a little farther with this concept:
    If I have a material planned through MRP and there are multiple revision levels for the item, will the reservation for the material reflect the revision level at the time the reservation was made or the revision level at the time the material is required?
    For example, material A has a change record which creates a new revision level a month from today.  Today, MRP creates a reservation for that item due for production in six weeks.  Does MRP create RESB with the revision level as of today or as of the new change record?  What does MRP use for the revision level determination date?

  • Add Extra Columns into Multi-Level Explode BOM (List Report)  - CS12

    Hi Experts,
    I wish to add extra columns into the list report generated from program RCS12001 (calling from t-code: CS12). The current layout will be AS-IS and the only way i wish is to add-in few new columns in the report.

    Hi
    declare select-options instead of parameters
    for converting a report to ALV
    create a field catalog.
    for this two option declare a itab with
    fcat    TYPE slis_t_fieldcat_alv
    and pass the field name,descr etc to fcat and append the same.
    or create structur same as your itab and pass the same with FM
    'REUSE_ALV_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE'
    use either <b>reuse_alv_grid_display or reuse_alv_list_display</b> .
    and pass the itab.
    thanks

  • How to set levels values in adjustment layer via script?

    I try to make a script which generates a non destructive adjustment layer for levels which already sets values for shadow levels and highlight levels. I tried the scripting listener in order to record it. Unfortunately the scripting listener only records the creation of adjustment layers but not their settings like shadow or highlight levels.
    The first question here: Why can't the scripting listener do this?
    So I tried to do it on my own and came up with the following script which won't work. My second question therefore is, can you help me to make a script which achieves my goal? Thanks a lot. I use Photoshop CC 2014.
    var desc780 = new ActionDescriptor();
    desc780.putInteger( charIDToTypeID( "ShdL" ), 60 );
    desc780.putInteger( charIDToTypeID( "HghL" ), 190 );
    var list126 = new ActionList();
    list126.putObject( charIDToTypeID( "LvlA" ), desc780 );
    var desc779 = new ActionDescriptor();
    desc779.putList( charIDToTypeID( "Adjs" ), list126 );
    executeAction( charIDToTypeID( "Lvls" ), desc779, DialogModes.NO );
    Here is the script which has been recorded by the scripting listener. As you can see there is no setting of the adjustment layer.
    var idMk = charIDToTypeID( "Mk  " );
    var desc188 = new ActionDescriptor();
    var idnull = charIDToTypeID( "null" );
    var ref135 = new ActionReference();
    var idAdjL = charIDToTypeID( "AdjL" );
    ref135.putClass( idAdjL );
    desc188.putReference( idnull, ref135 );
    var idUsng = charIDToTypeID( "Usng" );
    var desc189 = new ActionDescriptor();
    var idType = charIDToTypeID( "Type" );
    var desc190 = new ActionDescriptor();
    var idpresetKind = stringIDToTypeID( "presetKind" );
    var idpresetKindType = stringIDToTypeID( "presetKindType" );
    var idpresetKindDefault = stringIDToTypeID( "presetKindDefault" );
    desc190.putEnumerated( idpresetKind, idpresetKindType, idpresetKindDefault );
    var idLvls = charIDToTypeID( "Lvls" );
    desc189.putObject( idType, idLvls, desc190 );
    var idAdjL = charIDToTypeID( "AdjL" );
    desc188.putObject( idUsng, idAdjL, desc189 );
    executeAction( idMk, desc188, DialogModes.NO );

  • SG:50, Cannot convert planned orders to prod orders at BOM component level

    Test scenario for Strategy Group 50 (Planning without final Assembly)
    Product Structure
    Material-->  SG50.00 > FERT> (Strategy Group: 50)
    Material---> SG50.02 --> HALB --->(Strategy Group: 40)
    Material---> SG50.04 ---> ROH --->(Strategy Group: Blank)
    Maintained PIRs and Ran MRP at the header level, Planned orders are created
    with order type VP at levels of BOM structure. Thus cannot covert planned orders
    to production orders without having sales order.
    But my understanding of Strategy Group 50, is BOM components can be produced before hand (i.e.
    before sales orders are recieved ). Now planned orders with order type VP not able to convert
    planned orders to prod orders at BOM component level

    Stuti/Prasobh:
    Thanks for your inputs, it answers my question
    Intially maintained Individual/Collective indicator to "2" at header level (FERT), which is why all the planned orders are created with order type VP
    Changed the Individual/Collective indicator to "blank " at header level (FERT), and maintained Individual/Collective indicator  to "2" at component level
    Reran the MRP (MDO2), with the following settings --> Delete and Recreate planning data and Check mark on  Also plan on unchanged components
    Able to see planned orders at component level with order type LA
    Due points have been assigned

  • New Adjustment Layer - Levels/histogram GLITCH ?

    I use the non-destructive Adjustment Layers (Layers/New Adjustment Layer) all the time.  Today when I was playing around on the CS6 beta for Photoshop, I discovered that after selecting the New Adjustment Layer for Levels that I couldn't see the historgram graph when tried to re-access the Adjustment Layer by clicking on the Levels icon on the layer palette.  I shut photoshop off and reopened it, hoping it had a quick reset fix... but no luck.  When I first open up a Levels Adj. Layer, I can see the historgram and slide bar, but when I close it, and return to it to do additional work, I can no longer see the histogram graph. All I see is a smaller version of what looks like a small dark grey levels box, with the 3 levels arrows (left-dark, middle-mid tones, right-light) but no histogram to make adjustments with.
    Am I missing something here...? Is this super obvious and I just need another cup of coffee to make it all become clear?

    Hello, could you post a screen capture? http://forums.adobe.com/message/4209263#4209263
    And please post Photoshop's help>System info...
    Is there any content in the image? the levels histogram will look empty if the image is all black or white.
