Layout problems in IE only

It's my first website outside of Flash, and the only websites I will be making will be my own Portfolio's so I've made it with tables in the design view since I'm not capable of doing the whole thing in code.
I've tested it in Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Opera and the layout seems fine - it's only when I test it in Internet Explorer 8 that the jump menu and image description are both pushed right down.
I think that the problem may be with the cells since it's pushed down next to the thumbnails, which is where the cell had originally been split (the jump menu and description are both inside a merged cell).
Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you.

Layout problem in PDF conversion
Hi all,
i am downloading spool data using the function module CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF. But i am facing layout problem. e.g. RFBILA00(financial statement generation program) has written balancesheet data to the spool. This spool data has some 6 columns. but CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF is writing only first 3 columns to the generated PDF file. i used 'GET_PRINT_PARAMETERS' function module also with values like layout as 'X_65_132' and 'X_90_120'. but no success. if anybody knows the answer, please let me know.

[solved] layout problem in amarok 2.02
Hi,
Here, I have a bad layout problem with amarok 2.02. Amarok does not fit on my screen which is 1400 pixels large! I cannot reduce the part where the collection is shown. So that it is really unpractical to use.
I uploaded a snapshot to illustrate the problem (it is the full screen!):

I tried to install svn version but I stopped after 3 hours of compilation, it is quite a big application.

Dynamic Contact Layout problem
I have a set of Contact records coming into CRMOD via an ERP integration flow. User are NOT allowed to make any changes to these Contact records. Users can create new Contact records and are allowed to edit these. My plan was to use Contact Type to be either ERP or CRM. Then use a dynamic layout where the ERP page layout contains just read only fields. The CRM page layout has typical update fields.
The problem is the required fields in the ERP page (First and Last Name) can't be set to readonly. Thus, a user could change the name of an ERP Contact and that isn't allowed.
What am I missing? There has to be a way to block changes to First and Last Name. Use a validation expression in these fields that tests on the Type value? It is only two fields, so it isn't that bad.
Any other thoughts are much appreciated.

Since it is only 2 fields you can write a WF that prevents the users from changing the value if the contact type is equal to 'ERP'. You'll need to utilize the PRE function.
It should look something like this: IIf([<ContactType>]='ERP', PRE('<ContactFirstName>'), [<ContactFirstName>])
This will still allow the users to change the field, but when saving, Siebel will change it back to the previous value thereby making the field RO.
You'll need to do this for each field you don't want them to change.

I updated my IPhone 3GS to the new 5.1 operating system and have since had a range of problems with not only my phone but also my IPad.
Programs (Safari, mail, messages) keep crashing, mail will not delete properly (some will keep popping into my inbox again for no reason!!!), slow, settings lock up etc. etc.
This only seemed to become an issue once I updated to ios 5.1 and funnily also affected my Ipad even though i hadn't updated the software yet. I have since updated the software on my ipad thinking it might help too but that only made things worse!! So I am not sure if it's an ICloud issue, but when i try to disable ICloud my devices lock up as well.
The battery life is also shocking!!
I have hard reset both devices, restored both devices, reset the setting and tried a whole host of other suggestions (like closing background programs) on this forum buit nothing works and i am tearing my hair out.
I looked in the phone and ipad log and there do seem to be low memory reports though i don't know why these are occuring now when they never have before??
I don't know if I can restore the old operating system (If I can please let me know how). The phone or ipad are not jailbroken.but you should have a backup in itunes.
Every time you sync your iOS device iTunes creates a backup. go check if its there, iTunes Preferences >Devices. and there you should see if you have a backup, and in case from which date the backup is.
And ofcourse you can get your icloud data back by just logging in with your Appleid under icloud in settings on the iphone.
But anyway, if the iPhone works when you restor it as new: try adding your backup, and see if the issue comes back. And experiment with your backup and try to work out what is causing the issue, my guess is that its some app! Good Luck! -
This is not correct solution. I have fresh/new copy of Windows 7 64 bit and I have the same problem.
Autorun only shows the Apple Bonjour service. It started when try to sync more than one iphone over WiFi. I have two iphones and an iPad. I turned off syncing over WiFi and still has high CPU utilization. One of the CPU's is pegged at 100%. It is the AppleMobileDeviceService.exe process.For the record, I then followed the suggestion of MarcDCMB in https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4291206 of just manually restarting the Apple Mobile Device service in Windows services.msc once each time after starting iTunes and the service no longer hogs CPU after that service restart. Not too painful as a work-around, and apparently an effective one, but clearly not a solution to the problem. Again, as above, all the other solutions didn't work for me and I have no conflicting software as far as I can tell. So you'd have to say this Apple's problem.
Also FTR, I am still on the 5.2.0.6 version of the Apple Mobile Device Support MSI and I don't know if that is relevant to this work-around working but my sense is that it is NOT relevant. I'll report back on this thread if I re-upgrade and the problem returns in spite of the service-restart approach. -

I went to time machune and tried to find the file but I can't find it or I am looking in the wrong place. I also lost my Idvd file, only have broken chain showing.

This makes no sense at all - all of your previous statements indicate that you do have an iPhoto library but have some problems with it
By default your iPHoto library is located in your Pictures folder and is named iPhtoo library - if tha tis not the case the you have moved or renamed it and only you know what you did until you tell us the details

After a near miss with my 4-year old MacBook, I finally wised up and purchased a WD My Passport for Mac to back up my hard drive. I connected the Passport today and have performed the first full backup. However, I do not wish to keep it permanently connected to the laptop. Does this create a problem if I only connect the drive every few days? Should I have purchased Time Capsule instead?

I don't think it'll cause a problem, but I'd disable/turn off Time Machine before disconnecting, then turn it back on after you connect it again. -
I want to upgrade the IOS of my Cisco 2821 from Version 12.4(11) to v 15.1 (XB), but I have CCME v 4.2 (0), is there any problem if I only upgrade the IOS and leave the CCME as it ?
ThanksCME is part of the IOS, so you can't upgrade the IOS seperately from CME.
That said, if this is a production environment you should proceed with caution and be prepared to roll back as you may find bugs, etc.
You should also look at release notes and make sure your phone firmware will still work or needs to be upgraded too.

Strange email problem; it started only loading unread emails, but from 3 months ago. It is now loading new emails too, but no emails in the past month, read or unread. It's gmail, set up through the phone, I've restarted restored and updated firmware, deleted the account, anything I could think of, but it's just not accurately downloading the most recent emails.
The answer is very simple: You were not the original owner of the phone. Target sold you a phone that had been returned. You can verify the date of the original sale here: Apple - Support - Check Your Service and Support Coverage. I suspect you will find that the warranty expiration date is not one year from the date that you bought it.

The screen shows problems with iCloud only choices are ignore or settings, however nothing I do will unlock it from this screen, cannot power off keeps that bubble on the screen. What do I do?
Try this now.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. -
Layout problem - multiple repeating frames
Hi, I have a layout problem, pls help!
Short report description:
- Repeating Frame1 - gives 1 record, contains all other frames, variable vertical elasticity
- - Frame2 - contains all frames beneath - variable vertical elasticity
- - - Frame3 - variable vertical elasticity
- - - - some boilerplates
- - - - Repeating Frame 2 - various number of records, fixed vertical elasticity, height 100
- - - - Repeating Frame 3 - various number of records, fixed vertical elasticity, height 30
- - - - .. other repeating frames ..
When reaching the bottom of a page, and there is not enough room to print a record for Repeating frame 2, a record from Repeating frame 3 is printed in the bottom.
Next page starts with the remaining records from Repeating frame 2.. and then the remaining records from Repeating frame 3.
For example:
Page 1:
Rep frame 2 - Record 1
Rep frame 2 - Record 2
Rep frame 2 - Record 3
Rep frame 3 - Record 1 -- not enough space to print Record 4, so this record is printed
Page 2:

I have an Layout problem. My Applications consists of a label and a panel in which some more labels are present.
The panel should contain the scrollbar in order to view all the label that excced the size of the panel.This label and a panel should be adjacent to each other.
My problem is, I am not getting the scroll bar to the panel when I am adding the label that excced the size of the panel, when I am adding the label adjacent to this label.Did you use JScrollPanel? If not, use it.

Urgent: Layout problem in "light inner page"
Hi Experts,
I am facing a problem in portal content area on external facing portal. I see a vertical scroll bar which restricts application from being displayed on entire screen.
I am getting this problem after a patching of EP 7.0, before patching every thing was running fine.
To me it looks like a layout problem in "light inner page", When I use "Light - 1: column (Full width)" layout I get a vertical scroll bar on portal. When I use default layout then this vertical scroll bar disappears but I see an empty navigation bar on left side which is not required.
Can some one advise a solution for this.
