Lcds 3.1 hibernateannotations problem

I'm trying to use hibernateannotations with lcds 3.1 and flexbuilder 4.5.1 and I'm having problem getting the fill operation to work, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong
I'm getting this error back from lcds:
[LCDS]Exception executing assembler operation.  incomingMessage: Flex Message (flex.data.messages.DataMessageExt)

my actionscript looks like this:

                param.addItem(jobs);
                param.addItem("getAllSorted");
                param.addItem([]);
                getAllResult.token = WrUesdDataService.fill(param);
and I've went through commenting out the various params like jobs and [] but I still get the same error
the using lcds 3.1 doc says fills should like this
myService.fill(myCollection, "flex:hql", "from Person p where p.firstName = ? ", ["Paul"]);
but the compiler doesn't that syntax.
I created the service by importing it into the data model and generating the code.
here is my data-managementconfig.xml

  • Brand new mac mini and Studio Display 17" LCD- 2 adapters needed- problems?

From many forum posts here and elsewhere it seems I can in fact hook up my Studio Display 17" LCD monitor if I used the ADC-DVI adapter. But has anyone used the ADC-DVI adapter AND the DVI-mini DVI adapter that came in the box with the Mac mini?
Apple tech support told me on the phone tonight that doing so would "fry" the Studio Display.
Has anyone had any problems using this? Will running it through 2 adapters cause problems as opposed to the older minis where you could just do ADC-DVI and then into the computer?

Were you able to get your display working? I have an LG 27" at home connected to a Mid 2012 (June) MacBook Air 13" that has absolutely no issues. However, I just obtained the same Samsung monitor you have and appear to be having the same issue.
The only solution that I have found is to unplug the power from the back of the monitor or at the power supply each time my computer either wakes from sleep, screensaver, or a display that is powered off. This seems to be true via the following connections:
    1. HDMI to DVI thunderbolt adapter
    2. HDMI to Thunderbolt adapter
The display powers on with a slight flicker and then will immediately stop displaying the image on screen. What's especially strange here is the MacBook Air still believes the display is connected -- my login screen or active apps that are displayed on the external monitor do not move to the MacBook Air display as if it's no longer connected.
I hope someone has a solution to this issue! Thanks!

  • External LCD flicker (timing standard problem?)

My external LCD panel flickers when connected via DVI. It basically looks like a CRT refreshing. If I connect it with VGA, it doesn't flicker. It doesn't flicker when connected to a different machine. And it doesn't flicker if I boot the machine into Windows.
I've tried setting different refreshes on it with SwitchResX to no avail. Again, it works perfect in Windows, but my built-in LCD has whine in Windows when not at full brightness. So, in handy chart form:
    OS X
    Built-In: Perfect
    External: Flicker
    Windows
Built-In: High pitched whine when not at full brightness
    External: Perfect
The only conclusion I can draw from this is that it is related to the use of different timing standards or something of the like. Clearly all the hardware is fine.
So, does anyone have any idea how to go about changing the timing standard used in OS X?

I'm experiencing almost the same problem as you: When I connect an external LCD projector to my Macbook Pro via DVI/VGA adaptor, I notice a flickering of the LCD projektor. The intensity of the flickering seems to depend on the frequency I adjust in the monitor control panel. Unfortunately there's no frequency that fits the needs of the LCD projector.
Any idea to solve this problem is most welcome!

  • Can switching from CRT to LCD monitors cause system problems?

My 9.1 locks up periodically (but the cursor still moves) since I replaced two 20" CRT monitors with two Samsung 19" LCD monitors. Could this affect the performance of my machine? I've tried everything else to address the freeze problem but recall the issue started when I installed the LCD monitors. Anything I can do?

    Studedot,
You may have issues with the amount of video memory depending on the resolutions of the new LCD screens.
I find LCD screens go up to insane resolutions, way more than the corresponding size CRT monitor, ie. a 17in Dell LCD monitor with higher resolution than a 21in CRT.
It shouldn't cause crashes or freezes, but may cause -redraw problems when closing / moving windows in 2D and playing 3D games.

    solución la tenía
delante de las narices jeje. Iba a contar todo el rollo, pero
    mejor no me
    enrollo...

  • LCDS 2.5.1: Problems storing Date() in database

    Hi all!
I hope someone is able to help me with with this:
I've got a [Managed] [RemoteClass] public class Project, that is stored and updated just fine on Microsoft SQL Server, using msbase.jar and mssqlserver.jar from Microsoft.
However, as I include a Date(), the LCDS complains about not recognizing the data type:
    [Flex 3] 08/07/2008 13:52:30.525 [DEBUG] [Service.Data.Transaction] Started transaction using jndi name: java:comp/UserTransaction
    [Flex 3] 08/07/2008 13:52:30.540 [DEBUG]
[Service.Data.SQL] SQL Assembler jdbc exception on operation=update-item error=java.sql.SQLException:

    at flex.data.assemblers.SQLAssembler.updateItem(SQLAssembler.java:1206)
    at flex.data.adapters.JavaAdapter.doUpdateItem(JavaAdapter.java:1659)
I've tried playing the RemoteClass, extending Date(), trying variations the data-management-config.xml without any success.
Anyone worked with dates and MSQL?
Are there newer versions of msbase.jar and mssqlserver.jar? Other ways?
    Regard,
    Vegard

This is a bit similar to a problem I had about a year ago... I believe my error may differ slightly because I was using the SQL Server 2005 edition of the driver:
    http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/webforums/forum/messageview.cfm?forumid=60&catid=583&threadid =1289201&messageid=4664480
The workaround I ended up using was not something I was happy with, but this was for a small internal project so it was good enough for me. As I said at the time the solution is "a bit dodgy", and I offered the diffs for the jTDS source but nobody has asked to date. I may still have these somewhere, but they will be for an out of date version of the driver by now.
I'd suggest contacting Adobe support if you have an agreement in place, perhaps there is a patch or better workaround than I could come up already available.
Altering the database driver is really not ideal, and if the source to SQLAssembler was available I believe it should be fairly simple to implement a workaround there.
It may also be worth confirming this still occurs in version LCDS 2.6.

  • LCD TV Problems

Hello, I have a 32 inch LCD HDTV that I decided to connect to my mac as a second monitor. I have a Powermac G5, first generation dual 1.8GHz with the stock GeForce FX5200 installed.
I bought an HDMI/DVI cable and conected the DVI to my fx5200 and connected it to my LCD TV. The problem now, is that the TV doesn't get a signal...I was once able to get the mac to recognize that there was a second, widescreen monitor attached, but I still didn't get a signal on the TV. Any ideas?

Well, I'm not entirely sure I know how I did it, but I seemed to have fixed the problem I was having with my TV. I tried plugging it into the a different HDMI port which was meant to be for DVI input. for sme reason it worked like a charm. Thanks for the quick reply anyways!

  • I have problem after cleaning LCD on my SP U200

    Hi,
I have the following problem with my U200. I routinely clean my monitor using foam LCD cleaner. But because of some reason the foam got inside the monitor, seems that it is between the trubrit and the LCD. Because of experience I believe that it was not my fault.
For me is the sealing between the trubright and the LCD that have the problem. Now the monitor has some dirts that is mean that the foam evaporated.
The guys at Toshiba insist that is my fault.
Anyone faced such issue with their monitor? What was your Toshiba service centre approach?
    Best Regards,
    Pantelis

    Hello Pantelis
Please do not be mad on me but I also believe it is your fault and you can not call for display replacement covered by warranty. I have cleaned so many LCDs in last 7 years and I have never noticed something like this. I really can not imagine how much liquid you have used to clean the LCD.
It must be done very carefully and the liquid must be dosed as the need arises. Sorry but I do not see solution there. Maybe LCD disassembling and cleaning can help. Try to talk with technicians.

  • T400 LCD problem

hi guys, my t400 lcd does not included led backlight, and i feel it is terribly dim compare to other notebook such as compaq v3000 and hp dv2000, what is going on? i heard someone said t400  lcd without led backlight are good too, but my lcd seems dim even though i switch to screen brightness to the max, it is not totally dark but it looks dim, can you guys help me?

also do you have the switchable graphics card version? if so switch to intel by going to the power saving mode, and see whether the internal LCD still have this problem.
But what you are describing sounds like an issue with the LCD panel itself, you can get a new LCD for around 150 to 200 dollars on the net.

  • T400 LCD problem possibly connected to power

I have a T400 and recently I have been getting a turqouise flashing line at the bottom of my screen (not more than 1 mm thick).  It flashes consistently once every ~4 seconds, and it only flashes when the battery is less than 100%.  When my computer is plugged into the adapter and fully charged this is not an issue.  I have tried restoring my computer to a point before this issue started, reinstalled the BIOS, reinstalled the video driver, and done a SFS scan, but at this point I am not sure what else I can do.  Any suggestions?

  • Problems with ViewSonic LCD displays?

I have a ViewSonic VP2030b 21.5" LCD monitor hooked up to my G4 DA. The
monitor works OK with these two exceptions:
    1. "About This Mac" info on Displays consistently says "No display detected".
    2. I frequently have to restart the G4 several times to get the monitor to respond
and light up. Once it's finally on, it works fine.
The installation software that comes with the monitor installs only onto my OS9
volume, not onto OSX. Since the monitor dates from 2005, it should be
compatible with at least the earlier version of OSX. I inquired about any
update software at ViewSonic and was told that my install CD is the latest
    version they have for Mac.
Is anyone using a ViewSonic LCD monitor having similar problems?

What does it say in System Preferences > Displays? What if you click the "Detect Displays" button there?
My Mac has a card that supports two displays. It reports the correct info for the first one, then underneath, with no break, says "No Display Detected". In my case, I know it is talking about the second display, which is correctly identified as not connected since I only have one.
Most displays do not need any additional driver software on the Mac, so do not be alarmed if that CD will not install.
    What graphics card is this?

  • Very unusual LCD display problem, help appreciated

First post, I want to thank anyone who can help me in advance. I just took over my sister's MBP Unibody, and she has been having an issue where there is about a 1.5 inch wide strip of complete distortion on the left hand side of the screen. Everything in that strip is completely color distorted with constant screen tearing and flickering. I suspect there is something wrong with a wire in the lcd screen, as this problem only starts after using the computer for 15 minutes, and goes away initially by tapping the screen or adjusting the screen. After about half an hour of use however, it does not go away. In a completely unrelated incident, the glass panel cracked yesterday (This problem has been going on for about a month and a half), and i ordered a replacement, so I will be "under the hood" on Thursday. If anyone has any recommendations of what I might do to try to fix this, I would greatly appreciate it.
    3 pictures of my screen:
    http://i771.photobucket.com/albums/xx356/basicallydylan/IMG_0179.jpg

    http://i771.photobucket.com/albums/xx356/basicallydylan/IMG_0177.jpg

Well its 70 dollars vs 600 dollars and it wasn't me who bought the applecare. And I would gladly bring it in to an apple technician instead, however my only problem with that is its not like they can just take off the glass, take a look at it and then tell me how much it costs. i mean the glass is shattered, you take it off and its going to be in pieces. Likewise, they very well might say that they can't do anything about it because the broken glass is clearly accidental damage and immediately attribute it to the lcd problem even though it has nothing to do with it. If the glass wasn't broken, I would never have even posted and immediately taken it to the apple store. Please, tell me I'm wrong and I will take it to them right away to tell me exactly why the screen is the way it is, and it will probably be covered seeing how it started out of no where. My understanding of apples policy however is that with the glass cracked as it is, they will have no choice but to immediately charge me for a full repair. But like I said, if I'm wrong please tell me and I'll take it in tomorrow

  • Connect iBook to LCD TV?

    Hi,
Wonder if anyone can help...I am trying to connect my iBook G3 to my Phillips LCD TV. My problem is the cable. I am using the supplied DVI to VGA connector, however my TV has the same VGA connection on it. In other words two females and it therefore will not connect together.
I understand another option is to use the Apple S-Video + headphone jack for sound. Is this the only option or is one able to get hold of a DVI to "male" VGA connector.
    Thanks
    Philip

    Reading Douglas McLaughlin's User Tip:
Because the Apple Video Adapter is video only, you will also need to buy an audio "Y" cable to get the audio out of your headphone port and into your TV. If you have already purchased an Apple A/V Cable and your computer requires the Apple Video Adapter for the video, you can still use the A/V Cable for the audio out of your iBook.
So, yes, it's normal not to get audio with just the video cable.
Apple Discussions underwent renovations the weekend of November 13. Things are still "under construction."
