LDIF Support for colons in attribute values?

This is an invalid LDIF entry:
dn: cn=APPLICATION,ou=DBOLS_Profiles,ou=lookup,o=systems,dc=xyx,dc=abc
objectClass:olsProfiles
objectClass: top
olspolicyname: MAIN
olsmaxreadlabel: abc:def/jkl:mno
because the olsmaxreadlabel attribute's value contains colon characters. Is there a way around this? A way to be able to store colons in an attribute value?
Thank you

LDIF is defined in rfc2849 and to me it looks like your example string is a legal LDIF entry (http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc2849.txt)
That means that the problem is actually your LDIF parser so I would recommend getting another parser or writing your own parser.
I have example code for LDIF parsing as well as creating LDAP object using JNDI that I would be happy to share. Contact me through LinkedIn if you want the code packages.

  • Adobe Reader v10.4.4 support for PDF with attributes

    Hi there,
I recently downloaded Adobe Reader v10.4.4 for my iPhone. I was just wondering if it supports PDFs with attributes?
To test I created two PDFs using GIS application called MapInfo Professional:
    1. PDF without attributes - this one was able to open succesfully
    2. PDF with attributes - this one could not open and threw an error "Not a valid PDF document"
    Any help appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Dave

    Hi Steve,
Thanks for your speedy reply. Yes, I forgot to mention, these PDFs can open up in my desktop version of Adobe Reader (v8) for Windows.
PDF with attributes means that there is records (attribute data) contained in the PDF which is being saved into the PDF when it was created using the GIS application. For example if looking at postal area: PDF map, ID number, place name, population, area (sq m) values etc.
The specific tool/function which allows these attribute values to be exposed is called the 'Object Data' tool (under Tools > Object Data in the desktop version)
(I have attached a screenshot showing these attributes in the desktop version so you may get a better understanding hopefully! Pls see link below)

  • FM for modifying product attribute values

    Hello everyone
We have created our one set types for a product family.
What I'm looking for is a function module for maintaining
the values in this set type for specific product.
    Thanks,
    Nachshon

    Hi Nachshon,
    Use FM '<b>COM_PROD_MATERIAL_MAINTAIN</b>'.
You can maintain attributes for a category for a set of materials.
    Hope this helps.
<b>Please reward points if it helps.</b>

  • Is there any planned support for the "do not back up" extended attribute for iOS

Starting in iOS 5.0.1, Apple has introduced a new "do not back up" extended file attribute that will allow an app to store downloaded data into the application folder.  Is there any planned support for setting this attribute within an AIR application or is there currently a way to set this attribute using the existing AIR SDK.

Yes, this is exactly what I'm wondering too. Without it, we can't build any apps that download content without the risk of the content being deleted.
Here's the background before Apple introduced the new "do not back up" attribute:
    http://www.marco.org/2011/10/13/ios5-caches-cleaning
Fortunately, Apple addressed it after that blog post in 5.0.1. See bullet #4 here, quoted below
    https://developer.apple.com/icloud/documentation/data-storage/
Q:  My app has a number of files that need to be stored on the device permanently for my app to function properly offline. However, those files do not contain user data and don't need to be backed up. How should I store those files in iOS 5?
A: Starting in iOS 5.0.1 a new "do not back up" file attribute has been introduced allowing developers to clearly specify which files should be backed up, which files are local caches only and subject to purge, and which files should not be backed up but should also not be purged. In addition, setting this attribute on a folder will prevent the folder and all of its contents from being backed up.
Important: The new "do not back up" attribute will only be used by iOS 5.0.1 or later. On iOS 5.0 and earlier, applications will need to store their data in <Application_Home>/Library/Caches to avoid having it backed up. Since this attribute is ignored on older systems, you will need to insure your app complies with the iOS Data Storage Guidelines on all versions of iOS that your application supports.
Now we just need Adobe to support the attribute in the AIR SDK. What do you say Adobe?

  • JSTL Expression Support For All Attributes

There are mentions of JSTL expression support for the
modelReference attribute within the specification (although I have found problems in the EA3 in this regard), but
but I did not find any mention of supporting the same for all
attributes. To me, this seems very important, especially for
attributes like "onClick" where I might want to do something special:
    <c:foreach ...
    <h:graphic_image modelReference="model.myImage" onClick="onDelete({status.index})"/>
    </c:foreach>
In the case above, this would allow me to call a single javascript function that triggers a delete action based on the current index within a list based view.
There are many cases that I can think of that this would be incredibly useful.

maybe you have forgotten the $
    onClick="onDelete(${status.index})"
    or I've misunderstood something...

  • Accepting traditional %= ... % dynamic attribute values in tags

I am using Tomcat 5.5 (Servlet 2.4). This JSP code works:
    <% String strFoo = "index.jsp"; %>
    <jsp:include page="<%= strFoo %>"/>
... but this code that uses a custom tag I wrote doesn't work:
    <% String strFoo = "index.jsp"; %>
    <myutil:check url="<%= strFoo %>">
    some content
    </myutil:check>
    I get an error:
An error occurred at line: nnn in the jsp file: /xxxxxx.jsp
    Generated servlet error:
    strFoo cannot be resolved
I have set the "url" attribute's rtexprvalue setting to "true" for the myutil:check tag in its .tld file.
Does anyone have an idea about what might be wrong? I would have thought that what works for a jsp:include attribute should work for any tag attribute value with runtime evaulation enabled.
Of course, I would rather be using EL expressions, but I have a large body of existing code that I need to get working with this servlet container quickly, and rewriting it all is not an option at the moment.
    Thanks

Looks good to me. I can't think of any reason why it shouldn't work.
Can you please show the tld (or an example tld) defining this tag?
If you could have some 'dummy' code to duplicate the issue, it will be easier to help.
One thing you might try - take a look at the code generated by the conversion into servlet. It should be in the [TOMCAT]/work directory.
See if you can figure out from there why strFoo would not be in scope. Maybe you had it nested in another block?
    Hope this helps,

  • How to ge the value for attribute for terminal services attribute in Active Directory from userParameters attribute

  • Attributes and attribute values for a Product

    Hi all
Is there any table or FM from where I can get a list of all the attributes and the attribute values linked to a particular product?
I got tables which link product with Prod Category, Prod Category with Set types and so on.
Could anyoe please provide me an FM which will give the attribute and its values for a particular product?
    Please help!!
    Regards
    Debolina

Attributes created under s settype will be under the table with the name of that particular settype itself i.e Table name and the settype name are the same.
The other part of your question of where to find the list of all settypes and their corresposing attributes, you can make use of COMM_PR_FRG_REL.

  • Using the value "Image/*" for the accept attribute of the HTML input Element, how can I add .pdf to the array of preconfigured file types (.jpe, .jpg, .jpeg, .?

On a form, using the value "image/*" for the accept attribute of the HTML input Element, how can I add .pdf to the array of pre-configured file types (.jpe, .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .png, .bmp, .ico, .svg, .svgz, .tif, .tiff, .ai, .drw, .pct, .psp, .xcf, .psd, .raw)?
Say I wanted to add .gif, .jfif or .ico. I find this array limited, how can I add types to image?
    <input type="file" name="file" accept="image/*" id="file" />
mimeTypes.rdf does not seem to allow this.

''mimeTypes.rdf'' has nothing to do with web development. It's a file that stores your file handling preferences (e.g. if you want ZIP files automatically saved or opened).
You can't change the file types of the pre-defined content specifiers (audio/*, video/*, image/*), but you can specify additional MIME types. To add PDF to your above example,
    <pre><nowiki><input type="file" name="file" accept="image/*,application/pdf" id="file" /></nowiki></pre>

  • Populate key figure attributes values for material & location in inventory

    Hi all,
We have a Inventory Infocube. the dimensions of the inventory infocube contains material, location and material-location and also the time dimension with calday, week and month. The different key figures in the infocube are Unrestricted Stock Balances, Unrestricted Stock Receipts, Unrestricted Stock Issues, QI Stock Balances, QI Stock Issues, QI Stock Reciepts, Blocked Stock Balances, Blocked Stock Receipts, Blocked Stock Issues. The following is the definition for master data objects
Material Master - ATTRIBUTES :- Business Unit, Manufacturing Plant, Base to Case Conversion Factor(key figure attribute)
Location Master - ATTRIBUTES:- City, State, Country, Location Type
Material Location master - ATTRIBUTES:- Material, Location, MRP Controller, Source Location, Standard Cost(key figure attribute)
We have a report with material, location, calender day and with all the stock balances keyfigures. also in the report we have the key figure attributes of material master and material location (like standard cost and base to case conversion). We have defined a formula variable on these attribute key figures with replacement path.
The problem is none of the records are getting populated with the standard cost and base to case conversion.
We are NOT doing any conversion at the report level.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Regards
    Vijay

    There could be few possibility:
    1. The variable you are inputting for standard cost and base to case conversion may not have any values in the master data.
    2. See the master data table for Material and location. Note down those materails and location for which there are values for standard cost and base to case conversion. Now, run the reports for these materials
    and location.
Btw, have made standard cost and base to case conversion as nav attributes. Plz make them nav attributes and see.
    Thanks...

  • Setting property attribute values for multiple selected objects.

    Hello,
Is there an easy way to set the attribute property values for more that one selected Table Operator Attribute (column) at a time. For example the target table has over 100 columns but I only want to INSERT/UPDATE 10 of those columns. The generated MERGE, INSERT and UPDATE statements will perform DML on all of the columns in the target table, setting the 90 columns with no mapping set to NULL. This is due to the Loading Properties 'Load Column when Updating Row' and 'Load Column when Inserting Row' both default to Yes. I would like to select multiple Attributes in the Table Operator and change the 'Load Column when Updating Row' and 'Load Column when Inserting Row' to No. This is similar to what you were able to do in Oracle Forms 9.0 Designer select multiple Items in a Block and change the properties en-masse.
    Thanks

    Hi,
Using OMB scripting to set attribute properties in a data mapping sort of defeats the purpose of utilizing a graphical user interface to define and set properties for a data mapping? Surely the GUI data mapping tool was created to get away from writing scripts and scripting would also require that you know the name of the data mapping, table operator and the set of attribute names for which you have to write one line of script to set each property value, i.e. 90 lines to set 90 attribute values.
    Cheers,
    Phil

  • Is there any way we can set default value for a Date Attribute to current date in Master Data Services

Is there any way we can set default value for a Date Attribute to current date in Master Data Services.
I as well wants to know that is there any posibility to show Calendar control while input data into respective date attributes.
    Thanks.

    Hi Anagha,
So far i havent found any way to set todays date by default from MMI, but i guess this flow should work as workaroud
    1. Add buisness rule which can set a default value when Date = NULL/Blank
2.get the entity table ,use -select EntityTable from mdm.tblEntity where Name = '<enter entity name>'
3.Go to that table and add a after update trigger like
    if uda_<entityid>_<attributeid(Date attribute)> = default value
    update uda_<entityid>_<attributeid(Date attribute)> =getdate() where id = <LastUpdatedRow>
I will check on this too from my side.
By the way AFAIK i dont think so calendar control integration is possible .
