Leading is not working

Hey!
I hope somebody knows what is going on here, and more importantly, how to resolve it:
I am working in InDesign 2014 CC. I am aLONG-TIME user - from the beginning of Adobe.
Anywho...I am trying to change the leading in a file. When I go from 12 pt leading to anything higher it serves up leading 3 times what I have selected. For instance, when I select 14 point leading it looks like 45 pt! And the option to add leading space with a return (for say the end of a paragraph) isn't working at all.
Any ideas?

Screen shots, please? with grids, guides and invisible characters turned on.
It sounds like a baseline-grid issue, but it's hard to tell.
and I'm not sure what this means: the option to add leading space with a return (for say the end of a paragraph)
The only proper way to add space after a paragraph is with the Space After (or Space Before) function, never with leading.

  • CS3 'Increase Leading' key not working

    I am trying to use, or create, a keyboard shortcut to increase leading by one of the preset units.
    The shortcut should be Com+Opt+Shift+' but this is not being recognised.
    I have tried removing the default shortcut and re-saving this key combination, but that combination of keys is just not being accepted. Nothing using these keys is recognised. I can use any other key or combination of keys, but not Com+Opt+Shift+' (which is the old Quark shortcut!)
    Can someone suggest why these keys aren't recognised?
    I'm using the latest Leopard OS and latest CS3.

    Can you please copy the contents of 2 files
    amt.log and alm.log in the following forum thread. You could probably search them in finder and they are in user temporary location or please open a terminal windows and type open /tmp

  • Check without RLT (Replenishment Lead Time) not working as expected

    Dear All.
    We're seeing a sales order ATP situation for externally procured materials, in wihch RLT is not checked.  Or at least we've flagged the checkbox in atp config to not include RLT. 
    However, RLT is still picking up the planned delivery time and GR time.
    And if I blank out the GR time and planned delivery timie, then it just confirms it.
    It acts like RLT is still being used in the check even though RLT is turned off in the availability control (OVZ9)?
    Ideas?  Anyone see something like this?  Does it only work on internally procured materials?

    RLT is turned off in the availability control (OVZ9]
    Make sure, the box is checked in OVZ9 to avoid RLT in the availability check. You can do more analysis, by highlighting the sales order line item, then clicking the display availability button. In the next screen click on scope of check button, which shows the OVZ9 details.
    Did you check other parameters like Route, pick/pack time?

    Cconnect it to your computer with the latest version of iTunes installed.

  • Lead Selection does not work after setting filter for ALV.

    Hi, Can you please suggest on below scenario :
    I have a Node with a sub node in it .
    I am using the supply function on Sub Node to retrieve the date based on Parent Node.
    There are two ALV's to display parent and item data. The issue is when a filter(user defined filter) is done on Parent table, the supply function does not work. The value is that of the selected row before setting the filter. Even after removing the filter, the item data is stuck and does not change on Lead Selection.
    One thing I noticed is if the child table is a table UI, there is no issue. The only problem is when the second table is ALV

    Your issue can be resolved as below
    Create an event handler method 'set_alv_data'  for the event 'ON_LEAD_SELECT' of parent alv
    Write the below code inside the event handler method
    METHOD set_alv_data.
      DATA lo_node TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_node.
      DATA lv_path TYPE string.
      DATA lv_index TYPE string.
      lv_index = r_param->index.
      CONDENSE lv_index.
      CONCATENATE wd_this->wdctx_my_parent_node
      lv_index
      wd_this->wdctx_my_child_node
      INTO lv_path SEPARATED BY '.'.
      lo_node = wd_context->path_get_node(
          path                          = lv_path
      DATA lo_interface TYPE REF TO iwci_salv_wd_table.
      lo_interface = wd_this->wd_cpifc_alv_child( ). "get the ref of alv comp of child
      lo_interface->set_data(
        EXPORTING
    *    only_if_new_descr =
          r_node_data       = lo_node
    ENDMETHOD.
    The above code sets the data node of child alv based on lead selection of parent alv data.
    Note: Replace 'parent_node', 'child_node'  with your nodes & 'alv_child' with your alv component name of child alv.
    If you want to control the data of child alv on filter function, you can use the event ON_STD_FUNCTION_AFTE and once you define the filter you get the r_param->id = 'SALV_WD_FILTER_DEFINE'  & now you can clear data of child alv.

  • Total using SUM not working on Account field on Lead History report

    Hi,
    I have a report based on Lead History on which I need to use the SUM of a field that is under the Account.Custom Number/Integer. This basically is a report of leads along with some fields from the account the lead is associated with. The SUM on that field works fine when I try it on another report off the Account History object but does not work when used on the report off the Lead History. It just shows the value of the field for that record instead of the total of the field for all the records displayed on the report. I am guessing that the issue has to do with the query going off the Lead-Account relationship because of which it treats each relationship as one resultset and totals the field values for just that relationship.
    Any ideas on how to accomplish this would help very much. Can a field on one report be referred from another to achieve this?

    Just checked a similar report test I did a while ago, and my query is:
    SELECT c001 MyText, TO_NUMBER(c002) MyNumber
    FROM HTMLDB_COLLECTIONS
    WHERE COLLECTION_NAME = 'ATD'
    So, you should use TO_NUMBER(c002)

    I have created Lead distribution rule for assigment of Leads to Sales representative using below condition :
    If
    Lead Main Partner Postal Code Contains "12001"

    Set Partner Function To = Sales Representative
    Set Lead Status To = In Process
    Execution behavior = Stop after execution if partner(s) found )
    I am using standard service Mgr Profile for lead distribution, when i am executing standard report CRM_DD_BATCH  by giving values Object Type, Transaction Type and Service Mgr Profile it does not work i.e. assignment not happens but in addition to this if i mention specific Lead no. into report field ID it works perfectly.
    I dont understand what i m missing, please help me if anyone has come across the same scenario.

  • Actions not working in LEAD TRANSACTION

    hi all
    we are working on CRM 5.0 standalone system.
    i have a problem that actions assigned in LEAD transaction isnt working.i have checked all the customising that in action profile workflow is attached and action is assigned to the transaction but when i open the transaction in menu "maintain lead" under the action tab ,am not able to select the action as it is freezed or greyed.
    i have tried using standard transaction under which standard actions are assigned but of no use,strangely actions are working in activity and marketing planner.
    please suggest how should i solve this.
    help will definitely be appreciated.

    Following Apple advice I used Migration Assistant which crashed new system twice which is why I had to clean install Lion in the first place.
    Is there a sure way of doing it?
    I have only a few programs that I will have to install myself and that should not be a problem.
    I just want my data, music and photos back where I can use them.

    Time machine backups. I went to migration assistant a few hours ago and limited my selection to "users", no need for applications, settings and other files.  Stuff started moving over at a fast pace but has now seemed to stall.
    I will let it run overnight as there are lots of songs and photos as well as a few movies.
    If that does not work, then I will go into TM and try restore. I have restored some things in the past such a mail files and it has worked well. 
    The Apple fellow at the store told me to go right into TM, he may have had a point. I'll get it eventually.

    we executed all the suggested steps from this and the mentioned threads to get along with it and make the printed files from Adobe CreatePDF Desktop Printer visible. until now we were not successful.

    - installing works fine,
    - is there a similar solution for winXP too?
    - printer is online, tried the "setting to 50" in the registry without success
    at least we try to print/convert a tif file with it but it does not show up.
    the testing was done on a winXP and win7 system with the same bad results.
    uploading manually when logged in on acrobat.com is possible.
    there is no error message coming up, on the network monitor the file seems to be sent.
    since the tif files did not work we tried jpg and docx without success. is there anything apart from the regedit solution on winXP or rerunning installation/repairing procedure that could be done to make it work?
    would be great if somebody would have a suggestion what elso could be done.
    EDIT:
    meanwhile I got some new information
    when I open the spooler information window the file appears to be printed but after the upload is complete it switches to "error"
    i checked the printer settings but changing between the following options does not have an effect.
    since I changed the options back and forth some times the menu would not let me confirm changes so I have to stick to that "lead to printer directly" - option
    if I try to confirm windows shows that error:

  • Adobe Download Assistant not working after bluescreen

    I like to get the trial for Photoshop Elements 10 but the ADA is broken:
    Under Windows 7 I already used the ADA to download and install Adobe Premiere 10 successfully a week ago.
    Then I tried to get Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 but my system crashed with a bluescreen. The computer is fine again but ADA is not working anymore:
    - after startup it doesn't list any (!!!) product to download. The list is just empty
    - I can enter my username and password and click login. Then the buttons are greyed out and nothing else happens. I have to kill the application with the task manager then.
    - I can apply for a new user account but it greys out and gets stuck like as the login.
    - The help buttons lead to empty Pages in the web browser.
    I tried to uninstall ADA and reinstall it (two times) but the behaviour stays the same.
    I tried to find direct download links (the FAQs told me that there should be some) but every download page will use the ADA. I'd be fine with a plain ftp page for the trials. :-)
    I'm an IT professional but I've no idea how to get ADA working, wiped from disk to get it reinstalled or to download the trials on another way. Please help.

    I will try to install at a different location this afternoon.
    The other thread handles a different situation: "... the Adobe Download Assistant launches, asks me to sign in ... I get a nice "Welcome, Steve" message ... and a list of related products below with links to download their trials ... The Help link takes me to an Adobe Download Assistant FAQ page ..."
    - I cannot sign in and don't get a welcome message.
    - I don't see a list of products.
    - The help link takes me to an empty page.
    BUT: where does the ADA get the list of products from? Is it online or local? If everything is online where I am blocked (sign in, list, help), I'll check the firewall. Perhaps the bluescreen crash changed something.
