Left-clicking on a text link in the Yahoo email client under FF10 does nothing.

Right-clicking and selecting "Open link in new tab" or "Open link in new window" does work. Viewing the same email message in IE6 also works. I suspect the Yahoo mail client, since it has been doing a strange thing every now and then, but I do not remember this happening under FF9...

Just above the textarea that you use to enter the message text on the "Compose New Mail page" there is usually a button bar with buttons to add text formatting like Bold and Italic. 
That toolbar may also have a button to turn a text link into a clickable hyperlink (look for a chain like button). 
You can select the text and click that button to turn the link into a clickable hyperlink. 
If you can't find the button then hover them all to check the tooltip of each.

Is there an option to left click and open a bookmark in the same tab and right click to open bookmark in new tab?

I want to be able to open bookmarks in the same window without having to right click and then select open. I would like it to be like internet explorer where you have the option to open a bookmark in the same tab or new tab. I had downloaded an add on that solved the problem with a simple right click to open in new tab and left click to open in same tab. This makes things soooo much easier. Am I missing an add on or a configuration where I can solve this problem. Thanks for your time.

The procedure is Settings>Messages>Send & Receive at>You can be reached by iMessages at>Add another email address. The email address has to be a valid working email address, obviously. Apple should verify the email address and you have to go to the inbox of that email account, read the verification email from Apple and follow the inductions in the email in order to complete the verification. Then you go back to the settings, uncheck your email address and check the new email address to be used as the contact email address.

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

Very Important, how much Free Space is on your Hard Drive first of all? Click on the Macintosh HD on the Desktop, then do a Get Info on it.
Could be many things, we should start with this...

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward.

I have tried for days to set up the standardphone email client with my email adress. I use my own email account from a domain. (.net)
When i bought the N8 last month it actually worked with the standard imap configure and ports used in outlook and other devices.
Suddenly i got the message that i had to reinst. the email-account on the phone, and now its not possible to recive emails.
I have tried almost everything, but managed to send emails after i deleted every mail account on the phone, and denied the terms at the end so my emails dont go through the nokia.com system.
Have anyone experienced the same problem?
Does anyone have a solution?

good to know your WebDynpro reacts to eventing sent by MDM Result Set iView. As you mentioned, the problem is getting the record-id from the sender ResultSet iView.
Here is the info:
Step1: display what comes from sender iView.
e.g. for NW04 EP SP14: Logon to Portal with admin access, then navigate to System Administration -> Support -> Client Framework -> SPOCKI, Client Framework Inspector. Enter the pcd link to the MDM Result Set iView, then all client framework info is visible including all parameters of eventing. If the parameter you are looking for (e.g. record-ID) is not sent out from ResultSet, then:
Step2: configure MDM ResultSet iView to send the record-id
Content Administration -> ... select your Result Set iView -> open it in Edit mode -> select Custom Events -> select event type EPCF -> select Mapped Field [Record ID] -> enter the name of the parameter (same specified in event receiver). Then repeat the Step1 to make sure the record-ID is really sent out from Result Set iView.

Which suggests that you want to open the actual email client, rather than using java itself to send the email.
However it doesn't answer why.
At any rate that requires the following.
1. A platform specific way to run the email client. If you can't figure out how to do this from the command line (nothing to do with java) then you can't do it in java.
2. A way to manipulate an application that is running. The Robot package is intended for that. It might or might not do it. If not then you would need to find or create something else to do this.
3. Custom scripts for each possible email client which is fed into part 2 to make it do something.
Obviously a lot of work especially the last as that part might vary not only by vendor by also by version and user configuration.

    I ended up in this thread in search of a functional Exchange ready mail client capable of supporting multiple mail profiles. Since there are no free applications to accomplish this in the app stor, which I can find, I figured I'd leverage the 'community' for some direction before throwing good money after bad.
   As I assume Im not the only one to do this, I figured I'd help straighten these folks out on the lingo (as they werne't applying it properly) and the sassy 'sound like apple users' comment references the way ANTI-apple folks assume you people are less than adequite users.
   If I called an apple an orange, you would say I was wrong. If I did it repeatedly, after correction, you would assume Im incompetant.
   Seriously, its a stupid machine and will only do what you tell it. (true for all computers, apple or otherwise)
   So if I ask for a mail client, dont give me a provider. If I ask for a service, dont name a client.

    Since you interceded though, how about a little help? What mail client do you use? Is it exchange Compatible, with active sync? Does it offer multi-profile support? And the clients want images in their signatures, and multi signature support. (I can do this with my android phone )

However, I don't have Tab Mix installed at all. I have Tab Utilities 1.1.5. Probably that one interfers with the behaviour.
Is there a way to resolve this without giving up Tab Utilities or is there any other good tab utility addon that doesn't prevent Ctrl + left click?
This behaviour appeared after updating Firefox. Thus, I don't agree to consider it just a problem of addons but rather Firefox itself! I don't want to give up Tab Utilities until standard Firefox settings cover all (or at least most) of the functions it offers.

I cannot get the toggle link to the business email to stay up long enough to click it. The same thing happens when I try to hit the toggle reply "to sender" or "to all" dropdown on the side of the "reply" button. What can I do to fix this?

Clicking on my e-mail link, [email protected], loads the business side link right underneath. I click on my e-mail address, the business side flashes on the screen, but again when I try to click it, the whole thing disappears.
The same thing is happening with the "reply" button drop down menu for "reply to sender" and "reply to all" menu items.

It seems like you already have an old installation of Story.
You will have to remove it first before installing the latest one.
So the steps would be:
- Open 'Applications' folder in finder and move 'Adobe Story' app to Trash. Remove it from Trash too.
- Search 'Adobe Story' in Spotlight to make sure that this application is not installed on a different drive. If installed then remove that version too.
- Now download the latest version and install it. ( you can download the installer directly from: https://story.adobe.com/AIR/AdobeStory.air )

Usually the browser will take the user to info pages when a click on blue text is done. My browser just opens a blank page and has "search history and bookmarks and then just sits there. I can change that so it will do nothing and the message is "type a web address". It used to work fine. How can I fix this.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
