I was thinking about getting adobe photoshop & premiere elements 11 and I was just wondering what the license quantity is (how many computers I can install the program on) if there is any

Yes you can uninstall it from one computer and then install it on the other computer but make sure before uninstalling you should De-activate it.
To do so, on editor go to help and de-activate.
Once its done you can uninstall and install it on another system.

  • SAP B1 License problem

    Hi all,
    At one of our customer,SAP B1 license was imported. However they formatted the server and created domain on the server.We again installed SAP B18.8 PL10.Consequently the Hardware key was changed.Hence we edited the license key request system details(replaced old Hardware key with the new one) and send the fresh license Key Request.But the new license file I received has validity of 14 days for the Professional User,while other Licensetypes have validity till 31.12.9999.
    Hence I deleted the old system from the list of Existing Systems by logging in to Customer Portal and then requested the new system(Production System).But again the License file I received has a Professional User with the validity of 14 days whereas it shouldbe till 31.12.9999 while other license types has validity till 31.12.9999.What is the reason?
    Please guide me as we need to import the license file .

    Hi,
    I suggest you to ask the SAP B1 partner in your country to check if the old license system has been perfectly deleted.
    You should check if the requested is zero before request new license.
    Make sure that the professional users are not exceeding the licensed quantity.

    Our client is basically from India does exports of finished products.
    He imports raw material with a import license (Advance license with validity period) with a condition that he will export finished product and enters in a bond with excise authorities and does not pay any CVD for imported raw materials.
    Our client wants to track the advance license quantity( Finished goods for export) visa a vis Import of raw material to manufacture the said finished goods.
    Ex. To manufacture 1000 kgs of finished goods we need the following raw materials
          RM1- 500 kgs
          RM2-250 Kgs
          RM3-75   Kgs
          RM4-200  Kgs
    The above raw materials are imported in 3 to 4 lots to produce the above 1000 kg of finished product.
    Please guide me how to configure the above scenario in Foreign Trade/Customs.
    It will be really helpful if any one can provide a document on Foreign Trade/Customs.

    The foreign trade settings available under Sales & distribution tree in confirguration is enough.
    Regarding the Foreign law and other details , we will usually get them on the project.
    E.g.
    We have Eurpoean Sales List to be subimitted to govt everymonth
    In India, we submit the Sales Tax report.
    Basic understanding is , Ship to Party and Sold to Party contry are different .
    we need to maintain few settings as Mode of Transport , Country of Origin , Commodity code and some default settings .

  • Re-installation of the Windows 7 at a different machine

    We are a small business with 15 licenses of Windows 7 (out of which we are using 12 Licenses as of now). Now one of the machine was having hardware issues and it crashed hence we have got a new machine in hand. If we install the Windows 7 with the key then
    will it be counted as the 13th license activation ? and Is there a way that I can re-install it on a different machine without loosing another activation slot. Our intention is to run Windows 7 on 12 PCs and keep 3 licenses in hand for future use.

    Ok, so based on that description, it sounds like you have a Volume Licensing agreement, of the "Open" variety.
    And, I'll assume that you purchased 15 x WindowsClientUpgrade, or, 15xWindowsClientSoftwareAssurance.
    It's my understanding that you can assign, and re-assign (move) your 15 licenses whenever you need to, as long as you only ever have 15 computers (not more than 15) loaded with your entitlement at any one time.
    Also, you can re-assign (move) an unlimited number of times (never exceeding 15 loaded machines at one time).
    Also, you can only re-assign (move) a license every 90days (e.g. you can't move the same license every 30days).
    The exception to this 90day limit, is if the hardware fails, you are permitted to move the license sooner than 90days.
    Assuming you are using MAK product keys to activate your product, every time you activate an MAK product key, an activation "slot" is consumed, even if you re-activate upon exactly the same computer hardware.
    For this reason, MS typically grant you slightly more MAK activations than your licensed quantity, this allows for re-imaging failed computers, or when you need to replace an old/failed computer.
    If you do exhaust your total MAK activation quantity, you can request further activations from MS.
    You can check the current status of your activation quantity in the VLSC website, it will show as:
    Windows Client [version e.g. 7]: xx/yy
    where xx is the quantity consumed by you, and, yy is the maximum quantity permitted {Activation Limit}.
    When you reach the maximum permitted {Activation Limit}, your activations are exhausted, and you must contact MS to request further activations.

    We want to define License management in GTS with quantity depreciation functionality.
    We have set up all the relevant configuration and master data for License determination and it works fine.
    But the quantity depreciation is not happening.
    Below configurations are made in GTS for quantity depreciation.
    1. License type is marked for "Quantity Update" , Basis for quantity update is defined as "QUAITM Document Item Quantity" and value assignment level is "A"
    2. Item Category is assigned to Depreciation Group and Quantity Depreciation is "-".
    3. License is maintained with a highest quantity and UOM.
    When we create document license gets determined successfully and the log shows message "Quantities were written off completely". In license at Assigned Document level we can see the document assigned to license and Quantity Depreciated column shows correct quantity. But we check at the quantities level in license and quantity depreciated column shows zero quantity and Remaining Quantity = Highest Quantity of the license.
    And also If I create the next document with quantity more than the highest quantity of the license it does not get blocked in GTS.
    Can you anyone help me resolve this issue.

  • Import Management - Tracking License and Quantity / Quota for PO

    We have a scenario relating to Imports management. I have searched online for the solutions provided by SAP and came across two functionalities.
    1. SAP R/3 - Foreign Trade Management ( also listed as Compliance Management in SAP Solution Composer )
    2. SAP GRC - Global Trade Services ( part of the Business Objects portfolio)
    The main objective is to be able to track if we have an import permit available before we release a purchase order. If it is available we should check if the permit allows a specified quantity to be imported.
    If both the permit and the permitted quantity are available then the Purchase Order should be released, otherwise it should be on hold until a permit for the material is obtained.
    Is is also desired that the quantity of the import license is consumed upon each G/R or Purchase Order.
    Please advise how to handle such situation in SAP. PLEASE PROVIDE THE POSSIBLE CONFIGURATION MILESTONES FOR THE SAME.

  • How to calculate the volume of data used (PI licensing limit).

    Hi,
    One of our customers has several interfases running on SAP PI. They have a license that allows them the use of PI for a quantity of Gb in message data per month (I think that's the usual way).
    They would like to know how near/far they are of their limint of data, so they would like to know how does SAP evaluate that.
    Does  anybody know wich tool(s) are used by SAP to calculate the volume of data spent in one month?. We would like to launch those tools and get this info (so we can evaluate if we can add new interfases or change the periodicity of existing ones within the limits of the current license).

    My question is regarding Auditing and Compliance:
    Client has bought SAP PI licence for certain GB of data per month.
    Can this report be generated automatically classified by SAP and Non SAP Systems (PI licence volume constraints are normally for data exchange for non SAP Systems)?
    Also can this data be measured at Adaptor level? How does one monitor data at Adaptor level.

  • How can I do a clean install after doing an update using a volume purchase license?

    My question is this:  We purchased 20 licenses of Lion through the Volume Purchase program.  2 of the users installed it first doing an upgrade - now they have decided they want to do a clean install.  How can they do a clean install - I can't give them the installer cd we created because I have been informed by Apple Sales that it will use another license from our quantity of 20 - but they offered no other solution.
    We would rather not waste another license just to do a clean install.

    Install or Reinstall Lion from Scratch
    If possible backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive.
    Boot to the Recovery HD:
    Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
    Erase the hard drive:
    Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
    After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area.  If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing.  SMART info will not be reported  on external drives. Otherwise, click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
    Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Erase button and wait until the process has completed.
    Quit DU and return to the main menu.
    Reinstall Lion: Select Reinstall Lion and click on the Install button.
    Note: You can also re-download the Lion installer by opening the App Store application. Hold down the OPTION key and click on the Purchases icon in the toolbar. You should now see an active Install button to the right of your Lion purchase entry. There are situations in which this will not work. For example, if you are already booted into the Lion you originally purchased with your Apple ID or if an instance of the Lion installer is located anywhere on your computer.
    This method relies on the Internet Recovery system. This is the standard procedure when you don't have an installer or Lion came pre-installed.

  • License Update in FT STO Scenario

    Hi,
    In the Foreign trade STO scenario is a product is governed by legal regulation license check happens during STO delivery but the license master is not updated. Apparently License master update is not supported by standard SAP functionality in STO scenario unlike the normal order to cash cycle.In this case we are using quantity based license.
    Could you please let me know if there is a workaround by using user exits or by function module to fullfill the license master update.

    Good point. How it works in case I want all POs(except STO) to subject SPL and Embargo but only STOs(as you said exports) for all three services like SPL, Embargo and License determination.
    I don't have flexibility in GTS at document type level activation for services level like SPL, Emb, License det seperately.
    In ECC to ensure that STO documents are passed to GTS, I have to specify FUB at MM0A application level and I don't have FUB at SD0A application level.
    Then how does it knows that only FUB(STOs) subject to license and NOT FNB(POs)?
