Licensing/activation - error code 131:4

I've been receiving this error code over and over while trying to reinstall Adobe CS 5.5 onto my new Mackbook Pro.
It doesn't even give me a chance to enter any of my activation information...
A problem has occured with the licensing of this product. Restart your computer and re-launch the product.
If this problem still occurs after restarting, contact Customer Support for further assistance, and mention the error code shown at the bottom of this screen.

Any ideas?
Ive been turned away from both phone and chat support saying CS5 is 'too old'. which is frustrating

This error occurs because of a missing file or invalid serial number. Reinstall the product and try again.

    I appreciate your answer.  While it might work, I'm a bit hesitant to remove the other programs as a possible solution since they are all currently working.
    With Acrobat 9 Pro failing with the OS 10.7 upgrade, I'm hoping that there is a less severe solution.
    Since the trigger appears to be 10.7 and may have something to do with the discontinued support of Rosetta, I could be spending a few hours working on a reinstall without a change.  Yes, it might work.  The "might" is the part that makes me hesitate.
    Is anyone else out there on OS 10.7 and running Acrobat 9 Pro?  Any issues with anyone else?

    I am unable to print anything from an internet web page. I continually get "printer not activated, error code- 30" followed by "An unknown error occurred while printing". I can copy the material from the web page, place into a Word document and then print. This just started yesterday and I have no idea why. Would appreciate your advice!

    When I try to print from web page I get a dialogue box "Printer not activated - error code 30" followed by a dialogue box "An unknown error occurred while printing". The printer works on websites when I use Internet Explorer. Also, if I copy the web page and paste it into a Word document, I can print a copy. This issue just started this week; I have not encountered this problem prior to this week. Please advise.

    I have had my officejet 4215 all-in-one printer well over a year and it has connected and printed whatever I wanted.  Yesterday when I wanted to print an email it would not and the following box popped up: Activation error: Printer not activated, error code 20.  Then the next box that popped up said: Printer Error  An unknown error occurred while printing.
    If I copy the email over to a Microsoft Windows page, then i can print it fine.
    Any idea how to fix this so I can print email's like I used to?

  • Windows 8.1 Pro Activation Error Code: 0xC004C003

    I bought a HP Desktop - 110-a04 last month and registered with HP but last week I realized that my Windows 8.1 Pro is not activated yet. When I tried to activate the Windows it gives me an error which is  "The activation server determined the specified product key has been blocked, Error Code : 0xC004C003. 
    Secondly, I want to downgrade my OS to Windows 7. Where can I find the step by step procedure?
    Would appreciate if someone can advise how to fix this?

    I understand that you are looking to downgrade your operating system to Windows 7, and that your system indicates that your installed OS is not activated. I would be happy to assist you in this matter!
    Since your computer only has supported software for Windows 8.1, I do not recommend downgrading to an older version of Windows. Alternatively, you can ensure your installed version of operating system is activated by following the steps in this documnent on Windows 8 Product Activation.

  • Windows Server 2008 standard Activation Error Code 0xc004c003

    Hi
    I am trying to activate the windows server 2008 standard but i am not able to do so.
    I am getting the error.
    The product key you have entered does not appear to be a valid windows server product key.
    I have also call to microsoft activation team but they won't be able to resolve the issue, they found that the product key is valid. Then why it is not getting activated.
    Can someone help on this ? any reply really appreciated.

    Based on your description, we need to make sure that the product key information has been typed correctly and the product key matches to the edition installed.

  • Got a new computer,  now adobe photoshop elements is having licensing issues. error code 150:30

    Thats pretty much the jist of it. Im no computer wiz and all of the instructions for how to solve this problem are over my head. I don't know how to enter my start up library to delete certain files. Please help.

    photoshop elements 8 - came with my wacom tablet back in 2011. And My new computer has os X yosemite - it was working on my macbook which had recently updated to OS X, but Im receiving error code 150:30 licensing has stopped working messages. I found a troubleshooting list on adobe help that was asking me to delete files in my start up library. It was very confusing. Im lost. I just want it to work again.

    Yeah, agree with Milos. Please provide more information for further troubleshooting. 
    From your initial subject it seems you are facing issue with printer activation on your server. The error may be caused if the wrong printer is set as the default printer, the printer driver is missing, or if there are conflicts in the device manager. Please
    make sure below 3 steps whether it’s get some workaround.
    Step one: Make sure the desired printer is set as the default printer 
    Step two: Re-install the USB Composite Device from Device Manager  
    Step three: Reinstall the Software for that particular printer

    I've been trying to have my new Samsung Galaxy tablet to be able to download books from our library. Does anyone know how to correct the error?

    I had to go to Settings ->date and time ->then make sure the "automatic" had a green checkmark. I had unchecked the automatic setting due to living so close to the mountain time zone. My galaxy tab was "jumping" to MST. I hope this helps.
