"licensing has ceased working." I get this message when I attempt to open my licensed version of Acrobat 9 Pro. Why?
Does anyone know why this issue has developed. It is a Windows Vista 64 which we have used for 5 years. the computer is working reliably but now we get a warning messgae that licensing has stopped working and we must reload the product. I have checked my Adobe ID and the product is registered correctly with Adobe. Ideas?

I had responded favorably to the upgrade message from Firefox but after the download I kept getting a Firefox message that I had to close all other instances of Firefox running before the installation process could complete. I upgraded my 2007 iMac (20") to Maverick. Should never have done this! Lost mail, lost my mail archive, lost numerous programs/applications, lost all my installed hardware, spend 4 days on getting it running again with the (supreme) help of Apple Care. However it should not have happened at all!
iMac Computers with less than 4Gb of internal memory (as explained by Apple Care), or less than (estimated) 150Gb of free disc-space should not upgrade! Simple as that and the App Store should warn you about that and not simply let you pick up your free copy of Maverick! -

Download iTunes using the tab at the top of this page, re-install. Back up your computer first.

Do a back up then try reinstalling.
You should always back up before do an update, upgrade, anything with the system in case something goes wrong. That way you still have a current copy of your data.
Try starting in safe mode, then running the update. This will disable most 3rd party sofwarelike anti virus and other things prople put on their machines that can cause problems.
Safe mode:
Power off, power on holding the shift key, continue to hold until you see the progress BAR then re;ase and allow to finish booting. Note this will take longer than a regular boot. Login and try running software update or use the link here to download. Use an ethernet connection if possible as it is much less prone to corruption than wireless.

I have no idea what this means. Particularly the part about "Brian-Massmans-Computer-7." I don't even know what computer that is.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

G5 Quad G5 dual 2.0 Mac OS X (10.4.8) R.M.E firface 800 Logic 7.2.3 PT 002R PT TDM DP 5.1I would guess that it is a generic error meaning that the audio unit plugin could not be initialised and failed to load - usually due to an installation or authorisation issue in the plugin.
Does the affected plugin work in other hosts, such as Garageband? -
I can not open itunes on my computer. It started when an upgrade appeared. Now I get a message that states This application has failed to start because MSVCR80.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem. I tried to reinsall the application but it did not help. I also get a message iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes Error 7 (Windows error 126) Please Help me!
Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

What can I do to get this to work?
We were getting the same error on a Win 7 machine which had Acrobat 7 (running in compatability mode) and Reader X installed. When the user was trying to open the link from an email the error 'There is a problem with Adobe Acrobat.....(0:521) would appear and the pdf would not load.
Investigating the problem I can across an article to uncheck the option "Display PDF in browser" (in the application choose Edit -> Preferences -> Internet). Undertaking this procedure in Acrobat Reader X however, I could not uncheck this and the path the app was showing was for Acrobat 7!?!
Therefore, opened Acrobat 7 and undertook the same procedure. Unchecked the "Display PDF in browser" (in the application choose Edit -> Preferences -> Internet) which I was able to do, saved and closed the application.
Rechecked Acrobat X and the "Display PDF in browser" could be deselected and the path was now for ..\Reader 10.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe
Retried the original email with the link to the pdf and it now opens without error.
Not too sure if this will help but just thought I would share. -

I am running Windows xp home edition 5.1.2600 and Firefox 3.6.12. I can use gmail in the HTML view, but would prefer the standard view.
