Great job, Adobe developers. Only the new highlight recovery is worth the upgrade, at least when dealing with Panasonic GH2 raw files. Two possibilities, one is you should close apps on the iPad, the other is your internet speed is not able to handle the demands of a high speed device.
To close apps: Double click home button, swipe up to close the apps.
To solve internet problem, contact your provider. Basic internet is not enough for video games and movies. Your router may be old and slow.

First, you can try resetting your iPad by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears. Try again to see if the problem persists.
If yes, it may not be charging properly. Be sure you are using the charger that came with the iPad. The iPad 2 requires a 10W charger. If you are using a different charger, including the one that came with an iPhone, it will charge very slowly if at all.
Also try charging a different device with the charger to be sure it and the cable are working properly.

The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Well, InDesign is the only one that works and I have a ton of work due! I don't have a serial number for Photoshop or Illustrator except for CS3, and they don't work. InDesign gave me no problems. Illustrator says it can't work on this machine. Photoshop needs a serial number. I'm stumped and getting anxious and freaked out. Can anyone help? Adobe Chat is down right now.

Messages sent to you while your mailbox is full would've been bounced back to the sender.

Hey,
if you know the name(s) of the root folder(s) you want to access (eg. by making a note on the Windows side) then you can make them appear by just doing Shift-Command-G in Finder ("Go to Folder…"), and entering the full path to the required folders. You can then navigate all the contents as normal.

I suspect I should not have clicked on a 'x' symbol soon after the download which may have accidentally deleted something before the download/installation process had been completed. I purchased a book through iTunes and it downloaded. I synced with my iPad. It shows the book is downloading but that has been going on for two hours and i still can't open the book.

Try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account (Store > View My Apple ID on iTunes 11) and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that book, click the arrow to the left of it, click the 'Report a Problem' button :
and then the 'Report a Problem' link on its line :
and select 'inadvertently purchased' as the problem and fill in the details (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours).

Battery on 24% for two hours with heavy usage.

This has never happened before. My battery was draining quicker than normal today and as soon as it hit 24% it stopped going down. It's been on 24% for about two hours now with heavy usage on 3g (lots of internet, lots of texting).
Any ideas what's going on?

Sounds like *+yet another+* calibration issue. I had one too today, battery was on 77% - then after half an hour of sitting idle it was on 62%! I watched half an episode of +The West Wing+ and it stayed at 62% which is unheard of, video usually drains the battery quite badly - I have since had to plug it in to sync and within about 10 minutes its on 79%.
It's probably not a faulty battery, it's just that the status display meter is giving the wrong reading. I expect you'll get the same number of hours from the battery as usual, and the next time you completely empty and recharge the battery it will recalibrate itself.
