  • SC with Limit Item using Extended Classic Scenario?

    Hello,
Can we implement SC with Limit Item using Extended Classic Scenario.
I mention that we replicate the Product Categories from R/3 backend.
We have tried to create a SC with Limit item, but the data on Quantity, Price and Tax is not picked up at PO level.
    Regards,
    Shaiek

    Hi
    Please try out this.
    For the time-being,
Try de-activating all the custom BADI Implementations and check, what is happening, in the standard SRM system. How does it behave incase of limit item ?
Incase it works fine, without any Custom Implementation active in the system, I suspect there is something wrong in your current deactivated BADI Implementation.
Since i don't have access to your system , Please paste the code here.
    Hope this will help.
    Please reward suitable points.

  • Limit items on extended classic scenario.

    Hi everybody.
We are working in SRM 4.0 with extended classic scenario.
We are testing limit items (not service items), but I can not understand the limit item functionality.
In SC, we can assign contracts form limit items. But when we create PO from the SC, there is not any relationship between PO and contract. Moreover when I create a PO (limit item) from null, I can not assign any contract (field is not available).
In the other hand, in SC (limit item), I can select Follow-Up Actions as ‘Confirmation and Invoice’ or ‘Invoice’. If I select ‘Confirmation and Invoice’, when I create a PO, ECC return me a message error, because in ECC, good receives are not allowed for PO with limit item category.
    So, I have some questions:
    1. Can I use limit items in PO with contract reference?
    2. If yes, how can I do it? If not, what is the tab contracts functionality in SC with limit items?
    3. What is the functionality to allow confirmations in SC with limit items?
    4. Is there any documentation about limit item functionality?
    Thanks and regards.
    Raúl Moncada.

    Hello,
As far as I know, this is a technical limitation. A work around would affect other functionalities.

  • Limit Items in Extended Classic Scenario

    Hi,
Could someone tell me how the Account assignment works for limit items in the standar behaviour?
We are creating SCs with Limit items, and when creating them, we are entering the Account assignment as well. The fact is that when the confirmation is set (the good receipt), the Account assignment is needed again, as if the first assignment were not necessary or  even were not useful at all.
Is this the standar behaviaur for limit items?
    Many thanks and regards,
    Ana
P.D: We are working with SAP SRM 5.0.

    Hi!
I forgot to tell that we made mandatory to enter the account assignment when creating the SC. Even though this, the account assignment has to be entered again when creating the confirmation.
    Many thanks and regards,

I am getting an error "No Organizational data exits for the item" while trying to create shopping cart with limit item.
Can we create limit item in Extended classic scenario?
Do we need to set up anything for that in attributes?
Do we need to activate any BADI for that?
Please help me to setup the same.

  • Problem in processing of SAR in MM-SUS scenario

    Hi,
We have upgraded SRM4.0 to SRM 5.0 in MM-SUS scenario. We have a problem in processing of SAR list on the supplier logon portal.
When we click on All SAR list on supplier home page to display the list of SARs its going in infinite loop and giving timeout error after 30mins. When we checked in transaction SM50, found that program is not able to read records from table BBP_PDVIEW_IAP.
Number of entris in this table are 16lac.
Can anybody suggest the probable reason and solution?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello,
could you solve this issue? I just got the same problem.
If you found a solution, please tell me how you dealt with.

  • Item level attachments in confirmation sent from SUS in EBP-SUS scenario

    Dear colleagues,
    I am in SRM 5.0
In an EBP-SUS scenario, I have created a Confirmation for a Purchase Order with an attachment added at header level of confirmation as well as item level of confirmation and sent to EBP.
The XML that reaches EBP has both the attachments but effectively the confirmation that gets created in EBP has attachment only in header level and the item level attachment is missing.
Could any of you with your experience let me know whether it is a limitation or is it possible to send attachments in item level to EBP?
    Many thanks.
    Best regards,

    SAP Labs

    vatsa,
if the xml message has both the attachments , then it is a problem.
please debug the inbound of xml , it is very easy to find out whether both the attachments are considered in the creation of the document.
use transaction sxi_support and the inbound xml for debugging.

  • MM-SUS scenario with XML PO

    Hi Gurus,
I m working on SRM 7.0, Ehp6, I want to configure MM-SUS scenario. I have activated the Business function LOG_MM_P2PSE_1 and also activated the start event CL_SE_PUR_PO_WF_OUT(Create and Change) for the Workflow WS53800008 in the MM system.
I have created a vendor and material in MM and replicated to SRM system. Also imported the Business scenario SE_SERVICE_PROCUREMENT in XI system. Now I am trying to create a PO in MM, but its not generating XML PO in MM system.
What could be the reason? If any one knows whole process and having configuration document for the same, kindly help me on this. It would be really thankful.
    Regards
    Rama

    Hi Rama,
I understand that you are using XML message to replciate PO from ECC to SUS,
    Step1:
for this to work you have do activate these workflow in ECC:
BOR Object Type     BUS2012     CHANGED     WS53800008     No errors
BOR Object Type     BUS2012     CREATED     WS53800008     No errors
In the details of these flag the "Linkage activated" then the XML message will be generated after you release the PO's.
    Step 2:
00     SE     036     Line with blank quantity in item &1 &2 not supported in external system     W
00     SE     037     Basic line in item &1 &2 is not supported in external system                          W
Set the above messages to warning in ECC.
    with Regards

  • Possible version conflict, sending purchase order to SUS in MM-SUS scenario

We are currently trying to get the MM-SUS scenario working. In this
scenario, we create a purchase order in the ERP/MM system. The
purchase order is then transferred into SUS via XI/PI.
After creating a purchase order in the MM system, the purchase order
reaches the SUS system, but then errors-out in the SUS system upon
posting. The specific error is paraphrased as follows:
No interface action for sender or receiver found (from Trace)
    PARSE_APPLICATION_DATA
    CX_ST_MATCH_ELEMENT
    System expected the element http://sap.com/xi/SAPGlobal20/Global;
    PurchaseOrderRequest
We suspect a version conflict. The SUS version is 7.01. The XI/PI
    system is version 7.11.
Can you confirm or rule-out a version conflict?
The Integration Builder scenario we are using is Plan
    Driven Procurement with Supplier Enablement.
We have tryed many variations in Integration Builder, but all
produce errors in SUS.  The test tool in Integration Builder also shows errors
for certain message types.  The message type ORDERS.ORDERS02
needed to be added manually, and did not come along with the scenario.

    Any clue from here.
Note 936003 - ERS Invoice causes conversion error within SRM
When the SRM system attempts to process an ERS Invoice sent from the MM backend, a PARSE_APPLICATION_DATA CX_ST_DESERIALIZATION_ERROR fault is thrown.
    Other terms
CX_ST_DESERIALIZATION_ERROR PARSE_APPLICATION_DATA SUS SRM EBP ERS Invoice XI Exchange Infrastructure Mapping
    Reason and Prerequisites
This error will occur when the IDOC does not have a VPREI value; it is the result of an error within the divide logic of the XI mapping operation.  This operation is performed within the XI system.  A calculation of NETWR/MENGE is performed; however, the result is not properly formatted.  As such, 72.30/10 produces a result of 7.2300002. This value is too long for the inbound SRM proxy and hence the error is thrown.
    Solution
The solution to this problem is to add a FORMATNUM function within the XI mapping operation.  This restricts the result to 2 decimal places, which adheres to the definition of the inbound proxy.
Step by step directions on how one implements the FORMATNUM function are as follows:
    1. Log into the XI system with SAPGUI
    2. Start the Integration Builder:Design tool (for steps on how to do this, review the steps below):
        a. Run transaction sxmb_ifr
        b. This will cause a browser to come up.  Select the Integration Repository link
    3. In the left pane, select the Objects tab
    4. Navigate to the SAP SRM SERVER ' SAP SRM SERVER 5.0 ' http://sap.com/xi/SRM/SupplierEnablement/Global --> Mapping Objects --> Message Mappings folder
    5. Double-click on MM2SUSInvoice
    6. The right pane will display the mapping object
    7. Select Edit mode
    8. In the box that contains the output (Message Type: InvoiceRequest), navigate to InvoiceRequest ' Invoice ' Item ' Price ' NetUnitPrice
    9. Double-click on the Amount element and you should see the mapping, represented graphically in the bottom pane
    10. In the status line of the graphical editor, select Arithmetic from the list box:
    11. To the right of the listbox, scroll until you see the FormatNum function
    12. Click on FormatNum, which will cause the function to be added to the graphical editor.  You may drag the box as desired
    13. Select the connection that binds the if/then/else to the Amount box by grabbing the arrow within the input of the Amount
    14. Release the drag of the connection while over the input to the FormatNum box.  This will reassign the output of the if/then/else to the input of FormatNum
    15. Create a connection between the output of the FormatNum box and the input of the Amount box.  You accomplish this by clicking within the output and releasing within the input (respectively).
    16. Save the modified mapping object
    17. Activate the changes
        a. In the left pane, select the Change Lists tab
        b. Navigate to the Standard Change List entry
        c. Right-click the Standard Change List entry and select Activate
        d. Select only MM2SUSInvoice if more than one item is available, and press the Activate button
    18. This will complete the required modification.

  • Service Procurement PO Issue in MM-SUS Scenario (SRM 7.0)

    Hi Gurus,
We are facing issue while creating the service purchase order in MM-SUS scenario.
Creating the PO in ECC with Account Category "K" and Item Category "D". (PO should transfer through XML as in XI config v hv used proxies for both ECC & SRM,when creating PO xml not generated in SXI_MONITOR. what is the config required in ECC to generate the XML)
What is the Process of service entry sheet.
    Regards
    Satish

Note 868192 - Consulting solution: MM-SRV-SUS service procurement
A service entry in SUS is transferred to the R/3 system or ERP system using an IDoc after you submit the entry screen. Service entry sheets are created there and they are then available for release. You can perform the service entry in a number of ways:
Service entry of planned services: you can confirm planned services in the service entry in SUS. An overdelivery may occur if quantities are still open.
Service entry using time recording: planned services, for which a time recording is useful, can be split up. Time recording by the hour or by the day is possible.
Service entry for limits: You can use the free-text entry of new items and also the OCI-enabled catalogs to implement limits.

  • Group Limit items to create one PO

    Hi All,
while creating limit items, we want to group all limit items in one PO. I am aware that it is SAP standard behavior that we should not have more than one limit item in a PO.
But is there any BADI available for such an enhancement so that we can gorup multiple limit items to create one single PO ?
    Thanks.

    Hello,
In case of Extended classic scenario, as per the standard system design, it is not possible to create two limit items in one PO, when a PO is created manually from transaction "Create purchase order" (BBP_POC).
If you want to have two limit items in one PO, this is possible only by a Shopping cart. In shopping cart, you have to create two hierarchies with one limit item in each hierarchy. This will then create a PO with two limit items. This is the only way you can have two limit items in one PO in case of ECS.
Multiple packages concept is introduced in SRM 5.0.
The prerequisite to have multiple service packages in SRM is to have multiple hierarchy items in one PO. Unfortunately there is nearly no way to create hierarchy items directly from PO. It is only possible by a SC or an RFI process. The multiple service package handling was built exactly for this scenario.
Items need to be hierarchy items so that different packages are created for each item. If you have more then 1 limit item you will end up with 1 package for all of them.
This results in PO not being created in the backend raising an error message:  #Sum of Percentages > 200.0< exceeds 100%.
    I hope this helps.
    Kind regards,
    Ricardo

  • SRM 7.0 - Unconfirmed PO limit items not showing up when creating Invoice

    Hi Guys,
For PO standard items, when creating an invoice and is unconfirmed, these items still show up in the invoice screen and the invoice gets created with the status 'Waiting for preceding document'. For unconfirmed limit items, these items do not show up at all in the creation of the invoice and displays an error. My question is how will I make the unconfirmed limit items scenario work just like the standard items scenario whereby instead of the unconfirmed limit items not showing up and generating an error, they will show up and have the invoice created with the status 'Waiting for preceding document'?
    Thanks in advance!

  • Unable to hide feilds for a limit item at PO level in SRM 7.0

    Hi,
Currently we are working in SRM 7.0. extended classic scenario. While creating a limit item at PO level we are unable to control the custom feilds in general data tab.
We have created some custom fields. And we are trying to control (Visible,Enable & Required) these custom fields from IMG settings (Customer Metadata for item fields in Normal entries) for LIMIT items at PO Level. But we are unable to control.

  • Contract Release value is not updated with Limit item value

We have SRM 4.0 with ECS scenario.
Contract are created in SRM and replicated to ERP.
If we create PO with Service line and Limit line using contract in both of these line items, contract Release value is getting updated only with Service line item value.
But the contract Total value is the addition of Service and Limit value of PO.
Why Contract Release value is not getting updated with Limit item value. Please help as early as possible.

    Hi Sandeep
Yes. there are various reasons .upon your contract incorrect status and linkage not establised / or more attachment in SRM GOA.
what type of contract are you using? GOA or CCTR
If it is GOA - which version of SRM and service pack ?are you in ?
If it is a GOA , BLAREL idoc might failed to post the release value in the SRM .
How contracts are created material / mat group ?
to fix or understand the issue, you need to recreate the issue.
what is the ERROR in BLAREL in SRM idoc monitoring ?

  • Few questions on EB-SUS scenario?

    Dear Experts,
I have few questions on EB-SUS scenario which you may help with your expertise. It will be helpful for those who are new to scenario?
    1. EB (enterpise Buyer or SRM) -SUS scenario is used for requesting external staff? can it be used for non stock or free text items in extended classic? does it support direct material procurement ?
    2. Does EB-SUS or SRM-sus support service item with hierarchy like MM-SUS?
    3. EB-SUS scenario is basically on extended classic or standalone scenario? But, in extended classic scenario, it does support only Purchase order and PO response scenario? What badi's or customization is required to enable the confirmation and invoice for extended scenarios?
Full marks for good answers !!!
    Thanks and regards,

    Hi,
I am also interested in this question with another view of it:
    - Can SUS be used together with SRM (EB) for consumables in standalone scenario?
    - What are your experiences with SUS in general. I foresee that we would need some add-on development to the solution, is this easily done or does it take a lot of effort?
    Thanks for any good input
