Limit records in report to last 5 records

hi,
i've created a simple report for a custom object, and want to limit the visible records ONLY to the last 5 records in the table.
how can i do that?

What you need to do is create a RANK function on the created date and then filter this by 5. You can see more information on this at Re: Limit number of records in pivot table

I am not sure if you already tried this, but in case not, try to update Muse via Creative cloud directly.
Start creative cloud application manager, if you dont have it, you can download it from here,
Adobe - Adobe Application Manager : For Windows : Adobe Application Manager
Login using your adobe id, once you are in, switch to Apps, and you should see the Update for Muse, click Update.

Queries Report For Last Purchased Price

Can someone helps me to get queries report for last purchased price vs new purchase price that recently being enter on purchased order.
Trigger by purchased order document posting and we can choose % variance
Report by order :
No. Document PO ; Vendor code ; Vendor Name ; Doc Posting Date ; Item code ; Item Name : New Purchased price ; Last Purchased Price; Variance; Buyer Name
i will used it on alert management.. each time there % variance automaticaly sending an email with those report.

How to make report for last 24 hours?

Hello,
I have a little problem, I can't make report for last 24 hours.
Example:
If I am running report on 2.1.06 at 14:00, I want to get results from 1.1.06 14:00 to 2.1.06 14:00.
How do i make a report with this selection?
Because,if I choose date from 1.1.06 to 2.1.06 and
hour 14:00 to 14:00, I will only get results on 1st and 2nd on 14:00.
If I choose 1.1.06 and 2.1.06, 14:00 to 24:00, I won't get results for 2.1.06 from 0:00 to 14:00.
Because all selections use AND to get results.
How can I choose that system compare selections with OR?
How can I get results for last 24 hours?

Hi,
define a structure in your query with two entries. First one with 1.1. and > 14:00 and second one with 2.2. and < 14:00. Perhaps you need to fill the structure by user exits.

activated profile in sm19,still iam not getting audit log for last week in sm20.
After Proper setting of Security Audit log parameters, the Application Server needs to be restarted to make the changes effective. You will only get the Audit Data since the activation of valid Security Audit parameter.

Assuming you have the collection of statistics enabled, which it is out of the box, you can get the information you need from the EUL5_QPP_STATS table. This script will help:

As Michael said the query retrieval limit can be defined by Discoverer Administrator
like :
- Discoverer Administrator >> Tools >> Privilege >> Select the user that will see the workbook >> Query Governor tab and there you setup the query retrieval limit.
Note:
Normally if you defined the limit for the user via Discoverer Administrator it should work but i saw that this was not happened in my case when i open Viewer so i entered with my eul owner on Discoverer Plus and defined the limit for all the workbooks

Does anyone know if you can set a time limit on a report? I want a report to be canceled if it runs for more than 30 minutes. I see that you have the option in the Queue Manager when creating a job, but I want it to happen for my web-based reports...

You can count the numer of times something occurs and use that as a condition to stop things. How you go about stopping things depends on how your animation is set up. If it is a straight timeline animation, you would just use a stop(); command.

I know a table RSZCOMPDIR where we can find technical name and last run information, but this table does not give Report name.(description)
Is there any other table which can give me this information???

I guessing here but there must be a bit of php code that you can edit that limits the number of records to be displayed instead of the default value of 10.

Max processing time or Max records limit reached (Crystal Reports Server)

Although my report runs fine from with Crystal Reports (designer), I get an error when I try to run it from the Crystal Reports Server portal.
I get an error u201CMax processing time or Max records limit reachedu201D.
How can I solve this problem?
Iu2019m accessing a DB2 database on an iSeries Server thru ODBC. I know that the report uses a lot of data. Therefore I have set u201Callow query timeout yesu201D within the ODBC data source. The data connection itself is not the problem, I have no problem running other reports on the same connection.
PS. A do not know whether or not this is the right forum for my post. I first posted within "Java Development - BusinessObjects Enterprise, BusinessObjects Edge, Crystal Reports Server" but I did not get any response.

I found the answer to my problem:
1) Log onto the CMC
2) Goto "Servers" in the dropdown menu
3) Expand "Service Categories"
4) Select "Crystal Reports Services
5) In the right window will be listed the currently running services. The 2 services that Dell mentioned are in there under "Description": CrystalReportsProcessingServer and CrystalReports2013ProcessingServer

Limit records in nested repeat region

I am using the nested repeat region behaviour and I need to limit the amount of records in the detail table.
in ADDT it guides you through a wizard for master and detail tables to use this nesting which works great but it also returns all the records in the detail. I would like to limit the amount.
I tried modifying the query by adding
$maxRows_detail4tbl_products = 4;
$pageNum_detail4tbl_products = 0;
if (isset($_GET['pageNum_detail4tbl_products'])) {
$pageNum_detail4tbl_products = $_GET['pageNum_detail4tbl_products'];
$startRow_detail4tbl_products = $pageNum_detail4tbl_products * $maxRows_detail4tbl_products;
still returns all rows. any help is greatly appreciated.

CR 2010 - Need to limit records returned to the FIRST ONE OR TWO

I need a way to limit the data returned in a subreport to just the first one or two records (depending on the report requirements). The data is sorted by Date DESC and I only want the latest one or two recs. Can someone please tell me how I can do that?

Well, you can enter a suppression formula for the details section of the subreport like this:
Recordnumber > 2 //
This will display the two most recent records in the subreport.
