Hello All,
We have developed or design new form for cheque printing.
how to define on line space (amount in the word. ) sapscript form .
amount in the word..
FIFTY-SIX LAKH THIRTY-NINE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED
EIGHTY-SEVEN AND PAISE NINETY-EIGHT ONLY
My requirement this type

Hi tripati,
Change the Paragraph format of that line.in paragraph format you can find the line spacing option.specify the required line spacing to that format.i hope this will solve your issue

Form Line Space Work Around (permanently set leading)

Hi All,
new to the forums – I find the format confusing, but I'll try to do my best!
I have discovered a way to permanently set the line space (leading) of a form field. If you all discover a better way, then let me know!
     Create a small, multiline text field anywhere. Name it "Reference". This field will become hidden and read only later, so don't worry too much about it.
     Enable it to have rich text formatting. This is done in the form field properties under "Appearance".
     Exit form field editing. Place a single space in that field (no other characters).
     Select that space, then hit command + e (ctrl +e on PC) to bring up the rich text formatting options.
     Select a font and size, then press "More."
     Click the paragraph tab, then select a line height. I prefer to use the "exactly" option from the drop down menu, makes it the most similar to setting type in Illustrator or Indesign.
     We're halfway done! Exit out of this field and save.
This next part gets a little trickier because it requires some event javascript.
     Create a new miltiline text field. Worry about this one more, because this is the one the user will use. For this example, name it "Text"
     Like before, enable it to be multiline and rich text in the appearance settings.
     Go to the "Actions" tab of the form field properties.
     Choose event "on blur" and action "run javascript".
     Insert the following code:
if (this.getField("Text").value == "") {this.getField("Text").richValue = getField("Reference").richValue;}
This code tells the form field that when exited, if it is left empty, it should copy the exact rich text found in the form field "reference."
Now set the field "Reference" to read only and hidden under "general" in form field properties. Exit form field editing. Select "Text" and type anything you want, then delete it. Click the field again. There is now a single space there! (invisible to user at first) that has saved all your formatting! If the user starts typing, it will be properly formatted. Make sure to save your document with the field "Text" having only the properly formatted space.
Other Notes:
There 100% is a value in the javascript to set line height. Otherwise, copying the ".richValue" of a field wouldn't allow this to work. Problem is, no one seems to know the syntax and can't find it in the API. My challenge to you guys is to find it! We've proven it exists. If we can find the syntax then we can avoid these complicated workarounds.

hi,
If your requirement is to display date with box,first create a Box by using following syntax
* &sy-datum&
/: BOX XPOS '0' CH YPOS '3.65' LN WIDTH '77.50' CH HEIGHT '4.5' LN FRAME '10' tw
then adjust the box size according to your requirement by changing xpos,ypos,width and height

How to leave half line space in SAP Script

Actually , I have a doubt regarding half line spacing on SAP Script ..
I am working on Cheque Printing with fbz5
Now the issue in the date, there are 8 box for the date in cheque .
i.e 0 2 0 7 2 0 1 4
Currently the date is comming on the cheque box ..like half up the box and half inside
IF I give one space in cheque window of my script with / its taking complete 1 space
and result is ,it going down ..with one space
I want to leave exact half line space ..so date is adjusted in the middle .
I also tried moving my cheque window from upper margin in all format(CH , CM , MM IN ..) above
But it is taking exact one space .

Hi Darshit,
While creating the tab position, you have a option of line spacing.
make it to 0.5 lines, to make exact half line.
And also another way out, you can check by moving the 8 box created for the date up by 0.5 lines.

There are Limitataions for PE51.You can use only for HR module specifically for Payroll.

Line space removed when selecting save or print options

I created a form in CS3, converted to PDF in Pro 9 and filled-in the text. I edited the form to include additional information, and now each time I select "Save" or "Print" option the line spaces I entered are removed as though there is some compression feature that's doing this. This also happens if I click on the form outside the text box with any tool..Does anybody have a suggestion or answer for me? If you'd like to be placed on the list of my most favorite people, I'd appreciaate your response!

Are you sure this is happening when you print to PDF?
And not, later, when you print the PDF?

How to make the new drawing line on the old form?

I have been reading about Java about 2 months, and now I have to start my first project within this week. I still don't know how to do it!!! I have to get the info from the keyboard to draw a line on the old form of the original project. Please tell me what I should study more, the applet or the java bean. This form will be shown on the website, but I'm not sure that the applet is the right or the java bean is the right one. Yes, now I'm very confusing!!!

Allowing users to add additional lines in a PDF form?

I'm using Adobe acrobat X Pro to create PDF forms to capture invoicing information. Yet I can't figure out how to allow a user to add additional charges. I could create a form that just had a large amount of charge lines that could be left blank but was hopeing to allow for a dynamically adjusting form where someone could click a button to just add a new line entry into the form and the form would adjust down and enter in a new set of line entries. Is it possible to do this in Acrobat X Pro?

For the foorm to auto-adjust in response to adding a new line, you should look into what a dynamic XFA form that you create with LiveCycle Designer has to offer. LiveCycle Designer comes with Acrobat Pro as a separate application. N82 - Creating line spaces in Emails

Hi
I often check my webmail account on my N82 by connecting to a wireless network. If I want to write or reply to an email I can't find the equivalent of an "Enter" button to create a line space. Consequently any emails I write on my N82 end up as one long paragraph.
So that I can break the emails I write into paragraphs is there a combination of keys I can press on my N82 to simulate pressing the Enter button a PC keyboard?
If its of any use, my webmail account is NOT Hotmail or Gmail.

Please help: Extra Line Space after bolded word

I am in the process of editing a book manuscript in MS Word 2010, and there is an annoying problem that I cannot solve. I have tampered with all the line spacing options, but I'm at a loss.
When I bold a word, it introduces an extra little line space before the proceeding line. When I unbold the word, the space goes away. Has anyone encountered a similar issue? And is there an easy fix?

Are you saying that the line spacing changes when you apply bold formatting? Try a different font. Or you could specify a fixed value for line spacing (choose the "Exactly" option in the Paragraph dialog box).

Extra line space appearing - Help!

Hiya,
Can anyone help. When in Contribute, I have edited and have deleted a line space using 'shift+enter', it shows as having no line space in Contribute, but when it publishes - lo and behold - a line space appears.

Try this: After your edit, hit F5 to redraw the page and be sure that things are as you wanted. You may discover that there is still an extra line that you have to deal with....

Leaving one line space before starting the text in smartforms

Hi,
I want to leave one line space before starting a text.
i LEFT one line space on the text node but it's not working.
eg: i need to print "Header text". Before printing this i need one line space. Created a blank node for space still not working. Can anyone help me on this.

Enter a Line Feed in the Smartform Editor.
in the editor type as ,
"Header text"
where / is Line feed and * is a Default Paragraph Format.

HTML Editor kit Line Space Problem

I am using the HTMLeditor Kit i want to achieve line spacing in it. i have tried two ways one by specifying the line-height attribute directly into p tag and or secondly by using the StyleConstants attribute StyleConstants attribute StyleConstants.setLineSpacing and passing the MutableAttribute Set and linespaceno into it...
In first case i m getting the same linespace irrespective whatever i mentioned in line-height, however if i save the backend generated html and open it in Internet Explorer it works fine.
In second option i get content tags and but one the tag gets centre aligned and secondsly it does not woirk properly also.
Can somebody can give me a clear insight that what i can do to achieve this line space functionality

Yes please someone explain how to change the line spacing in a text/html accepting component, in my case JEditorPane. My need is specifically this -- I want to display variable font size text including superscripts all in HTML at a single unmoving height on JEditorPane. I believe increasing the line spacing sufficiently will enable this to happen, but how does one setLineSpacing on a JEditorPane component?

Problem while changing Cheque Form

Hi all,
I have uploaded the cheque form form Qul to Dev server with the same NAME what has in Qul Server,
as it is not exit in Qul. Both are different servers.
After the modificationt to form i transported the form from Dev to Qul.
the modifications are shown in form but not shown in the Cheque PRINTOUT(i take the output of cheque before and after the
changes and compared).
Can any one Guide me.
