LineTotal after discount field

Is there a field that saves the value of the LineTotal after DiscPrct is applied?
Currently I have to create formula field [ Line Total * (1-DiscPrct) ] to calculate my company sales on my custom sales reports in crystal and excel.

SAP has 2 kinds of discounts:
One per row, which then is included in the Line Total. This is ok.
One per document, which only has the field DiscPrct on the OINV table. In order to calculate the sales of the company, there is no field having the final sales value because there is no field where the discount per document is taken into consideration, so to calculate sales in crystal reports, the formula is LineTotal * (1-DiscPrct from OINV). It will be very useful if there was a total field like the Line Total but also considering the discount per document. It will save a lot of formula creation. Or maybe there is a way but I haven't find it.

Unit Price after Discount/Rounding

For sales documents, we are currently using the Discount% column to include additional fees to an item's unit price. Ex: sales price list u/p of $0.60 * Discount of -5% = billed u/p of $0.63 (Price after Discount includes $0.03 hub fee). We have this setup as we are calculating commission based on the price list u/p. The above example rounds nicely, but the problem comes about when the figures are not even. For example an item with list price of 4.54 must be billed at 4.65. The resulting discount% is -2.4229074... Although rounding will show the correct u/p of 4.65, the row/doc total calculations will be carried out at 4.649999... For high volume orders, this will create a noticeable price discrepency. Is there a way to enter the Price after Discount field manually? Thank you.

Check in:
Administration -> System Initialization -> Document Settings -> Generla Tab:
'Calculate Row Total Using Unit Price'.
If this box is checked in 2005 the field 'Price after Discount' will not be active even if it is set as active in the Form Settings of the document.
In 2007 for a database that was created in 2007 this field cannot be activated as far as I know.
From what I remember a db that has been upgraded from 2005 to 2007 this field can still be activated.

Cash discount is applicable for this material or not..
This is for Sales only..
Pricing Procedure (RVAA01) and if you activate SKTV and SKTO Condition types
Cash Discount can calculate before tax or after tax
Condition Type- SKTV(Statistical Condition Type)---If you check requirement is "14" which says Discount before Tax( This will calculate from the Filed Material master "Cash Discount Indicator" ie "SKTOF"
Condition Type-SKTO-(Statistical Condition Type)--
>Requirement "9" Discount After tax - here also it will consider filed "SKTOF" ie "Cash discount indicator in material master.

How to know when the PRICE AFTER DISCOUNT changed and get the value

Hi,
Everything I do to see if a value changed in the grid works except for PRICE AFTER DISCOUNT
which seems to be inaccessible.
Any idea how to know when exactly this value changed and do actions accordinly ?
Also I always get 0.00 if I try to get the value of it
This works to get in the condition of a vlaue changing but I always get 0.00 as the value of the column

just idea, maybe it will works
Create one udf in row level and set there FS based on changes on price after discount and fill value what is in price after discount. Then the validation make on this field instead of standard SAP field.

J_1IEXCDTL-EXBAS not updated after discounted price

My issue is given below ,
Base price of material A is 100 INR, qty 10
base value=1000.
discount 10%
sub total after discount 900
BED 10%=900*10%=90 INR
In table J_1IEXCDTL , BED value 90 getting stored properly however exice base value field (EXBAS) is getting stored with 1000 INR instead of INR 900 .Please let me know how to overcom this.

When you post a query and expecting some assistance here, please provide more informations as much as possible.
What type of excise invoice you were generating? (Normal sales / Depot / Export etc.,)
When you say the field EXBAS in J_1IEXCDTL is not updated, can you also tell me whether you could see in billing document and excise invoice?
May be if you can share the screen shot of excise invoice, it will be easy to show the right path.

SBO2007A can no longer change the Price after Discount on marketing docs

In SBO2005A (subjecting to Document Settings), you could change the Price after Discount. Thisis no longer available in SBO2007A (unless you upgrade from SBO2005A with the appropiate settings.
I have not found a customer who thinks this is good idea.
Good to reinstate the functionality.

Hi,
The field "Price after discount" can become editable if you unmark the checkbox "Calculate the row Total using the Unit Price" (Document Settings->General Tab). As default this checkbox is disabled for new installations.

Update table J_1IEXCDTL-EXBAS after discounted price

bellow mentioned is my requirement,
base price of material X in 100 INR, qty 10
base value=1000.
discount 10%
sub total after discount 900
BED 14%=900%14=126 INR
In table j_1iexchdtl BED value 126 getting stored properly but exice base value field (EXBAS) is getting stored with 1000 INR but we want it should store INR 900 instead of 1000.Plz guide me what step I can take to resolve this.

I have changed the message from Warning to Error for J1IF01 t code, ie at the time of creation of challan, so that the EXBAS field would have some value after challan creation,
and there would not be any problem while reversing the same challan after 180days , so that I will not get message Accessible Value zero for J1IF13 t code
In my case, previous post, I have EXBAS=0.00 hence i unable to reverse the challan, thats why I want to update the table,

Customer wants to see Discount Field and Quantity field in Sales order Form

Hi Gurus,
Highly appreciate if you provide the solution for below issue:
My customer requirement is to see Discount field in sales order lines screen...They want to know how much percentage of discount they are giving to customer, if they want to modify for respective line they modify in that field.
Standard functionality discount field is NOT there in SO lines for because they manual enter discount in SO form, system should calculate Discounted price.
One more required if they enter Item code, able to see available quantity bottom of the form Sub inventory wise, Availability, resealable.
Current standard functionality supports - Click Availability button to check the availability..Its very difficult for them to check for each and every line item, is there any functionality to support this issue.

Both of your requirements should be customised.
There is no standard functionality which attains your requirements.
For my present project, we have customised 2 seperate reports, one which shows the availability of the items in subinventory and locator.
Also a report which shows discount for all the lines and for the entire order.

Problem with the discount field in PO form.

Hi All
I have a major problem in the PO form when ever I capture an invoice and then i insert the amount like R 100 000 then I try and add it with out maybe be a date in , the system will give me an error about date which is fine then I put in my date , then before i add the doc i change the total amount in one of the lines then the system inserts discount in the discount field automatically.
If i first entered R 100 000 then changed the amount to R 15 000 the system enters a discount of 85%.
Can anyone please explain this to me.

Has any one an idea, if this could be a bug or what went wrong? I am especially irritated, that it seems, that class was not created. After all I never changed any tables or anything in the background manually. I just used the standard tool EEWB, nothing else.

I know my question was a tricky one and no-one was able to help me from this forum. That's why I would like to share with you the solution I just recieved from SAP:
Although all classes that were created whilst extending the component BT111H_OPPT were deleted, there still existed a seperate extension definition in ViewCluster BSPWDVC_CMP_EXT still persisted.
I wasn't aware of the fact, that I had to delete that too.
Note: in order to delete ViewCluster, use tx SM34
The problem ist now solved!

Want to display a space after last field in the output txt file

I want to display a space after last field in the output txt file which is generaed by my program on utility server the last field lengyt we have defined is four and in database it is of three characters and requirement is to disppaly the last fourth field as space in the output file w hich is not shown as the txt file automatically gets closed at the third place as it is the last field in the record and ind atabase records are of therss char only but user wants to display this fourth position in the notepad output file as space ( which is last field in the output file)
eg
name house street country
record output coming in file
ram   h3      street3 thn      now this thn which is last field the notepad get closed at thn only
i want to display one space in last field for the whole of output file
ie ram      h3   street3 thn(space)
    sham   h4 street4   sgp(space) so on......
we need to show this space in the output file as blank
