NAVEEN

Hi Naveen,
Ok if you need to get workcenter name then logic goes as below.
From AFRU table get AFRU-ARBID.
And Get Workcenter name from CRHD Table using OBJTY EQ 'A' and OBJID EQ AFRU-ARBID. If you need Workcenter Text also then write code as below mentioned query:
SELECT SINGLE AOBJID AARBPL B~KTEXT_UP INTO ICRHD
FROM CRHD AS A INNER JOIN CRTX AS B
          ON AOBJID = BOBJID
        WHERE A~OBJTY EQ 'A'
        AND   A~OBJID EQ IAFRU-ARBID.
Hope, this is what you require.

Arpit

  • Linking MIC & Batch characteristic

    Hey All
My understanding is that to move values from batch characteristic to MIC we need to maintain the link in MIC and this relationship is one to one relationship.
We have a business requirement as below. I do 2 types of testing i.e. official & vendor. First i do vendor testing and this will be reflected in the batch. After this i do official testing and this needs to overwrite the vendor results and update the batch automatically.
If i have to use the batch characteristic + MIC link, then i need to create 2 batch characteristics & 2 MIC's / test i perform on the material.
Is there  a way by which i can have multiple link between batch characteristic & MIC and manage this link via some user exit or
do you have some suggestions on how to handle this business requirement?
    Regards
    TOM

You only need one inspection characteristic.
You don't indicate in your process how or when these two types of inspection happen.
You can create a source inspection lot with the tests the you use to record the vendor results on.
Then when you receive the material, you have an 01 inspection lot created for recording your actual results.
The second set UD on the 01 lot will over write the batch record results from the first source inspection.
If you have one inspection lot that is created at goods receipt, use two operations.  Operation 10 has the vendor tests.  Operation 20 has the in-house testing.  When the UD is made the test results from the last operation will be written to the batch record.

    Hi,
In 2 steps, u can get the unrestricted stock value.
step1: Get material no (MATNR), plant (WERKS), batch (CHARG) and unrestricted stock (CLABS) from table MCHB by sending Storage location and batch number.
Step2: Get standard price STPRS from table MBEW based on condition where MATNR = MCHB-MATNR, BWKEY = MCHB-WERKS and BWTAR = MCHB-CHARG.
             unrestricted value in MB52 will be (MCHB-STPRS) * (MCHB-CLABS).

  • Technical link between a PM order and its operations (routing number)

    Hi all,
I would like to know how to make link between a PM order and its routing number for operations in the order (field AUFPL) ?
    Thank you.
    Regards.
    Laurent.

    Hi again,
I just found function module CO_DB_HEADER_READ.
With Order Number as import parameter you got in export parameter CAUFWA value AUFPL.
Then with +AFV+* tables, you have operations data.
    Regards.

  • Link between sd and pp

    hi all,
i have a problem regarding relation or link between sales and production order. i have to fetch production order number related to sales order number. i have checked in the table AFPO that is production order item table , there is field AFPO-KDAUF and AFPO-KDPOS ie, sales order and sales item. but when i see these two fields there is no data into the field so how can i get data into the table related to production order.can anyone help me on this issue.

Please refer to the below links -
    https://forums.sdn.sap.com/post!reply.jspa?threadID=309885
Integration points with MM/IM and PP are some of the following -
When a Production order is created and released a reservation gets created for the materials in BOM
When the reservation is created and materials are posted against the reservation with mvt type 311 these are transferred to the respective location.
When a GR is posted with mvt type 101, the Finished or Semifinished goods are posted to the respective storage location and inventorized.
When a consumption is posted with mvt type 261 then stock will get reduced in resepective storage location.
When a batch determination is done in a production order basing on the batch search strategy and sort rule material, quantity and batch are selected.
If WM is configured an associated internal movement for all the above movement types will be posted.
During MRP, BOM which is a master data for PP is used to calculate the dependent requirements of materials.
During availabilty check of a production order basing on the availability check configured materials will be selected and checked.
Hope the above may help you.

  • What is the differene between filter operation and NL semi join?

    Hi, all.
The oracle is 10gR2 and 11gR2.
There are differences between filter operation and HASH/MERGE semi join in processing subqueries.
But I could not see the difference between filter operation and NL semi join?
(the only thing I know is that filter operation has caching mechanism, but I am not sure in case of NL semi)
What are the pros and cons of each of them?
    Thanks in advance.
    Best Regards.

Those aren't 'version's. What are the 4 digit versions?

What are they? When you make a statement like that post the information (and links to it) that backs up your statement.

We can't 'see the difference' either; you didn't post anything for us to look at.
    >

    >
Each of what? Again - you need to be as specific as possible if you want specific feedback.
Also, since you generally should not use hints in production code anyway what difference does it make what the differences are? Oracle will make the choice.
Without anything specific to comment on about all we can do is provide several links that talk about joins and how to produce and examine them. These are all from Jonathan Lewis's Scratchpad:
    http://jonathanlewis.wordpress.com/?s=semi-join

    http://jonathanlewis.wordpress.com/2010/08/09/joins-nlj/ -- nested loop joings
http://jonathanlewis.wordpress.com/2011/06/08/how-to-hint-1/ -- how to hint for joins
Check out those articles. Pay attention to how, in each one, he doesn't just provide a text description but also provides code and explains the code.
In other words he provides all of the specific information needed to illustrate what he is talking about. That is what you need to do if you need help with a specific topic: provide the query, plans and output that you yourself are using as the basis of your question. That lets us see EXACTLY what you are talking about.

  • How to create database link between oracle and SQL Server

    Hello Everyone,
Here i have Oracle Database 9i and SQL Server 2005 databases.
I have some tables in sql server db and i want to access from Oracle.
How to create a database link between these two servers
    Thanks,

    Thanks for Everyone,
I was struggle with this almost 10 days....
I created Database link from Oracle to SQL Server
    Now it is fine.........
Here i am giving my servers configuration and proceedure how i created the db link...@
Using Generic Connectivity (HSODBC) we can create db link between Oracle and SQL server.
    Machine (1)
    DB Version : Oracle 9.2.0.7.0
    Operating System : HP-UX Itanuim 64 11.23
    IP : 192.168.0.31
    Host : abcdbt
    Machine (2)
    Version : SQL Server 2005
    Operating System : Windows server 2003 x86
    IP : 192.168.0.175
    Host : SQLDEV1
    User/PW : sa/abc@123! (Connect to database)
    Database : SQLTEST (exsisting)
Table : T (“ T “ is the table existing in SQLTEST database with 10 rows)
    Prerequisites in Machine (2):
    a)     Oracle 10g software
    b)     User account to access SQL Server database (sa/abc@123!)
    c)     Existing SQL Server Database (SQLTEST)
    d) Tables (testing purpose) (T)
    Steps:
    1)     Install Oracle 10.2.0.1 (Only SW,No need of database) *(Machine 2)*
    2)     Create a DSN where your windows Oracle 10g SW resides *(Machine 2)*
Control panel >> Administrative Tools >> Data Source (ODBC) >> System DSN ADD
You can follow this link also.....
    http://www.databasejournal.com/features/oracle/article.php/3442661/Making-a-Connection-from-Oracle-to-SQL-Server.htm
    I created DSN as
    DSN name : SQLTEST
User : SA/abc@123! (Existing user account)
    Host : 192.168.0.175 (machine 2)
Already I have 1 database in SQL Server with the name SQLTEST
You can create DSN with different name also (not same as db name also)
    3)     Create a hsodbc init file in $ORACLE_HOME\hs\admin *(Machine 2)*
    Create init<DSN NAME> file
    Ex: initSQLTEST
    Copy inithsodbc to initSQLTEST
    And edit
    initSQLTEST file
    HS_FDS_CONNECT_INFO = SQLTEST    <DSN NAME>*
    HS_FDS_TRACE_LEVEL = OFF*
    save the file....@
    4)     Configure Listener.ora *(Machine 2)*
    LISTENER_NEW =
    (DESCRIPTION_LIST =
    (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS_LIST =
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = 192.168.0.175)(PORT = 1525))
    SID_LIST_LISTENER_NEW =
    (SID_LIST =
    (SID_DESC =
(SID_NAME = SQLTEST) *+< Here SQLTEST is DSN NAME >+*
    (ORACLE_HOME = G:\oracle 10g\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1)
    (PROGRAM = hsodbc))
    (SID_DESC =
    (SID_NAME = PLSExtProc)
    (ORACLE_HOME = G:\oracle 10g\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1)

  • Can I use Unix symbolic links between Mountain Lion and Snow Leopard Mail folders?

After upgrading to Mountain Lion, I partitioned my iMac HD to have two partitions: Macintosh HD has Mountain Lion; I reinstalled Snow Leopard on Macintosh HD 2. Best part: you can access your user-created files from EITHER disk partition. But not so OS X Mail. I wanted to revert to Snow Leopard, since I don't like the iOS-like Mountain Lion (swipe THIS!), but Mail is a problem since all my Snow Leopard Mail was successfully migrated over to Mountain Lion during upgrade.
Is there a way to use Unix symbolic links between actual OS X Mail folders in Mountain Lion and OS X Mail in Snow Leopard?
It seems the (trial) symbolic link created pointed to a blank file.

It's not a matter of "letting" each maintain its own database, William. By default, I believe, I have no control over what gets written. In fact, if there were a way to set a preference that says, use this index named "spotlightindexSL' only [while in SL], that might solve my problem. Then when booting up in ML, it would just go after the index it last made.
My guess is that while I am in ML or SL and not the other, there are all sorts of changes to files and the system freaks and says "Oh, now look at what a mess I've made — there are all sorts of files unaccounted for. Now I have to rebuild the whole thing."
I have 2 had drives in my Mac, both 500GB. One (Working Disk) has no operating system and all my files, and the other drive is partitioned 470/30gb with SL on the 470 and ML in the 30. When I restart in either OS, the auto-start Indexing as if for the very first time, and do both hard drives (in total: 3 partitions of files, not counting the ML Restore partition).
I know it all uncoventionally — just wanted to see what my $20 new OS will cost me in software upgrades, in particular my $1800 Adobe Design Suite CS4 and a few others.

  • DB link between 8i and 9i

    Hi,
    i created a dblink from 8i to 9i.
some simple query can be executed successfully:
    select * from tablename@dblink
However, when use join method. It prompted me with following error:
    ORA-02068:following servere error from dblink
    ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel
does anyone know how to correct it??
    Many thanks,
    Tommy

Subject: Client / Server / Interoperability Support Between Different Oracle Versions
    Doc ID: Note:207303.1 Type: BULLETIN
Last Revision Date: 26-OCT-2005 Status: PUBLISHED
Oracle Client / Server Interoperability Support
    Introduction
This note gives a summary of the support for interoperability between Oracle client and server versions. This includes support for connections over database links between Oracle versions. Note that this relates to support for investigation of defects / ability to obtain bug fixes.
For a summary of the support status of each Oracle release see Note 161818.1
    General Policy
Oracles general policy is to test and support each new Oracle release for compatibility with older releases thus:
Test the NEW client to each OLDER server release where the OLDER release is still covered by Premier Support (formerly Primary Error Correction support) at the time that the NEW version is released.
Test OLDER clients to the NEW server release where the OLDER release is still covered by Premier Support (formerly Primary Error Correction support) OR is in the first two years of Extended Support (formerly Extended Maintenance support).
Tests between the NEW version and other OLDER releases may be added where Oracle deems it sensible to support interoperability between those releases.
    Current Interoperability Support Situation
The matrix below summarizes client and server combinations that are supported.
New interoperability problems will only be investigated if BOTH releases involved are covered by a valid support contract at the time that the issue is reported .
    eg:
An 8.1.7 client to a 9.2.0 server issue requires the customer to have a valid Extended Maintenence support contract for the 8.1.7 client in order for Oracle to investigate it.
    Server Version
    Client Version 10.2.0 10.1.0 9.2.0 9.0.1 8.1.7 8.1.6 8.1.5 8.0.6 8.0.5 7.3.4
    10.2.0 Yes Yes Yes #5 No EMS No #3 No #3 No #3 No #3 No #3
    10.1.0(#4) Yes Yes Yes Was EMS #2 No #3 No #3 No #3 No #3 No #3
9.2.0 Yes #5 Yes Yes Was EMS No No Was No No #1
9.0.1 No Was Was Was Was Was No Was No Was
8.1.7 EMS EMS EMS Was EMS Was Was Was Was Was
8.1.6 No No No Was Was Was Was Was Was Was
8.1.5 No No No No Was Was Was Was Was Was
8.0.6 No No Was Was Was Was Was Was Was Was
8.0.5 No No No No Was Was Was Was Was Was
7.3.4 No No Was Was Was Was Was Was Was Was
    Key:
    Yes Supported
EMS Supported for customers under Extended Maintenance (EMS) only.
Was Was a supported combination but one of the releases is no longer covered by any of Premier Support , Primary Error Correct support or Extended Maintenance Support so fixes are no longer possible.
    No Has never been Supported
    Specific Notes:
    #1 - See Note 207319.1
#2 - An ORA-3134 error is incorrectly reported if a 10g client tries to connect to an 8.1.7.3 or lower server. See Note 3437884.8 .
#3 - An ORA-3134 error is correctly reported when attempting to connect to this version.
#4 - There are problems connecting from a 10g client to 8i/9i where one is EBCDIC based. See Note 3564573.8
#5 - For connections between 10.2 and 9.2 the 9.2 end MUST be at 9.2.0.4 or higher. Connections between 10.2 and 9.2.0.1, 9.2.0.2 or 9.2.0.3 are not supported.
    General Notes:
For database links between different Oracle versions connections must be supported in BOTH directions in the matrix above.
eg: As 9.2 -> 7.3.4 is not supported then database links between these version are not supported in either direction.
Unsupported combinations may appear to work but can encounter errors for particular operations. The fact that they appear to work should not be relied upon - issues on unsupported combinations will not be investigated.
Since new database servers are compatible with a limited set of older OCI clients, it may not be necessary to upgrade the client software when upgrading the database. However, some new features may not work without upgrading the client software. So, for example, an Oracle 7.3.4 client is able to connect to an Oracle8i database, but is not able to take advantage of newer features such as Transparent Application Failover (introduced in v8).
Oracle Applications , or other Oracle products, may have supported configurations not listed in the matrix above.
The matrix above also applies between different platforms and between 32/64 bit releases of Oracle client / server except where any Oracle platform desupport notice indicates otherwise .
